تَرْنِيمَةُ ٱلْمَصَاعِدِ. لِدَاوُدَ يَارَبُّ، لَمْ يَرْتَفِعْ قَلْبِي، وَلَمْ تَسْتَعْلِ عَيْنَايَ، وَلَمْ أَسْلُكْ فِي ٱلْعَظَائِمِ، وَلَا فِي عَجَائِبَ فَوْقِي. ١ 1
[A Song of Ascents. By David.] Jehovah, my heart isn't haughty, nor my eyes lofty; nor do I concern myself with great matters, or things too wonderful for me.
بَلْ هَدَّأْتُ وَسَكَّتُّ نَفْسِي كَفَطِيمٍ نَحْوَ أُمِّهِ. نَفْسِي نَحْوِي كَفَطِيمٍ. ٢ 2
Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.
لِيَرْجُ إِسْرَائِيلُ ٱلرَّبَّ مِنَ ٱلْآنَ وَإِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ. ٣ 3
Israel, hope in Jehovah, from this time forth and forevermore.
