اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 12

١ 1 لِإِمَامِ ٱلْمُغَنِّينَ عَلَى «ٱلْقَرَارِ». مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ خَلِّصْ يَارَبُّ، لِأَنَّهُ قَدِ ٱنْقَرَضَ ٱلتَّقِيُّ، لِأَنَّهُ قَدِ ٱنْقَطَعَ ٱلْأُمَنَاءُ مِنْ بَنِي ٱلْبَشَرِ.

Help, Adonai; for the godly man ceases. For the faithful fail from among the children of men.

٢ 2 يَتَكَلَّمُونَ بِٱلْكَذِبِ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مَعَ صَاحِبِهِ، بِشِفَاهٍ مَلِقَةٍ، بِقَلْبٍ فَقَلْبٍ يَتَكَلَّمُونَ.

Everyone lies to his neighbor. They speak with flattering lips, and with a double heart.

٣ 3 يَقْطَعُ ٱلرَّبُّ جَمِيعَ ٱلشِّفَاهِ ٱلْمَلِقَةِ وَٱللِّسَانَ ٱلْمُتَكَلِّمَ بِٱلْعَظَائِمِ،

May Adonai cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that boasts,

٤ 4 ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوا: «بِأَلْسِنَتِنَا نَتَجَبَّرُ. شِفَاهُنَا مَعَنَا. مَنْ هُوَ سَيِّدٌ عَلَيْنَا؟».

who have said, “With our tongue we will prevail. Our lips are our own. Who is lord over us?”

٥ 5 «مِنِ ٱغْتِصَابِ ٱلْمَسَاكِينِ، مِنْ صَرْخَةِ ٱلْبَائِسِينَ، ٱلْآنَ أَقُومُ، يَقُولُ ٱلرَّبُّ، أَجْعَلُ فِي وُسْعٍ ٱلَّذِي يُنْفَثُ فِيهِ».

“Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says Adonai; “I will set him in yesha' ·salvation· far from those who malign him.”

٦ 6 كَلَامُ ٱلرَّبِّ كَلَامٌ نَقِيٌّ، كَفِضَّةٍ مُصَفَّاةٍ فِي بُوطَةٍ فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ، مَمْحُوصَةٍ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ.

Adonai’s words are flawless words, as silver refined in a clay furnace, purified seven times.

٧ 7 أَنْتَ يَارَبُّ تَحْفَظُهُمْ. تَحْرُسُهُمْ مِنْ هَذَا ٱلْجِيلِ إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ.

You will keep them, Adonai. You will preserve them from this generation forever.

٨ 8 ٱلْأَشْرَارُ يَتَمَشَّوْنَ مِنْ كُلِّ نَاحِيَةٍ عِنْدَ ٱرْتِفَاعِ ٱلْأَرْذَالِ بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ.

The wicked walk on every side, when what is vile is exalted among the sons of men.
