اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 118

١ 1 اِحْمَدُوا ٱلرَّبَّ لِأَنَّهُ صَالِحٌ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ.

Give ye thanks to Yahweh—For he is good, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.

٢ 2 لِيَقُلْ إِسْرَائِيلُ: «إِنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ».

I pray you! let Israel, say, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.

٣ 3 لِيَقُلْ بَيْتُ هَارُونَ: «إِنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ».

I pray you! let the house of Aaron, say, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.

٤ 4 لِيَقُلْ مُتَّقُو ٱلرَّبِّ: «إِنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ».

I pray you! let them who revere Yahweh, say, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.

٥ 5 مِنَ ٱلضِّيقِ دَعَوْتُ ٱلرَّبَّ فَأَجَابَنِي مِنَ ٱلرُّحْبِ.

Out of a strait, called I on Yah, He answered me with enlargement.

٦ 6 ٱلرَّبُّ لِي فَلَا أَخَافُ. مَاذَا يَصْنَعُ بِي ٱلْإِنْسَانُ؟

Yahweh, is on my side, I will not fear, What can man, do unto me?

٧ 7 ٱلرَّبُّ لِي بَيْنَ مُعِينِيَّ، وَأَنَا سَأَرَى بِأَعْدَائِي.

Yahweh, is on my side, with them who help me, I, therefore shall gaze upon them who hate me.

٨ 8 ٱلِٱحْتِمَاءُ بِٱلرَّبِّ خَيْرٌ مِنَ ٱلتَّوَكُّلِ عَلَى إِنْسَانٍ.

It is, better to seek refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in man:

٩ 9 ٱلِٱحْتِمَاءُ بِٱلرَّبِّ خَيْرٌ مِنَ ٱلتَّوَكُّلِ عَلَى ٱلرُّؤَسَاءِ.

It is, better to seek refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in nobles.

١٠ 10 كُلُّ ٱلْأُمَمِ أَحَاطُوا بِي. بِٱسْمِ ٱلرَّبِّ أُبِيدُهُمْ.

All nations, have compassed me about, In the Name of Yahweh, surely I will make them be circumcised;

١١ 11 أَحَاطُوا بِي وَٱكْتَنَفُونِي. بِٱسْمِ ٱلرَّبِّ أُبِيدُهُمْ.

They have compassed me about—yea compassed me about, In the Name of Yahweh, surely I will make them be circumcised;

١٢ 12 أَحَاطُوا بِي مِثْلَ ٱلنَّحْلِ. ٱنْطَفَأُوا كَنَارِ ٱلشَّوْكِ. بِٱسْمِ ٱلرَّبِّ أُبِيدُهُمْ.

They have compassed me about like wax bees, they have blazed up like the fire of thorns, In the Name of Yahweh, surely I will make them be circumcised.

١٣ 13 دَحَرْتَنِي دُحُورًا لِأَسْقُطَ، أَمَّا ٱلرَّبُّ فَعَضَدَنِي.

Thou didst, thrust sore, at me that I might fall, But, Yahweh, hath helped me.

١٤ 14 قُوَّتِي وَتَرَنُّمِي ٱلرَّبُّ، وَقَدْ صَارَ لِي خَلَاصًا.

My might and melody, is Yah, and he hath become mine by salvation.

١٥ 15 صَوْتُ تَرَنُّمٍ وَخَلَاصٍ فِي خِيَامِ ٱلصِّدِّيقِينَ: «يَمِينُ ٱلرَّبِّ صَانِعَةٌ بِبَأْسٍ.

The voice of shouting and salvation, is in the tents of the righteous, The right hand of Yahweh, is doing valiantly:

١٦ 16 يَمِينُ ٱلرَّبِّ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ. يَمِينُ ٱلرَّبِّ صَانِعَةٌ بِبَأْسٍ».

The right hand of Yahweh, is exalted, The right hand of Yahweh, is doing valiantly.

١٧ 17 لَا أَمُوتُ بَلْ أَحْيَا وَأُحَدِّثُ بِأَعْمَالِ ٱلرَّبِّ.

I shall not die, but live, That I may recount the doings of Yah.

١٨ 18 تَأْدِيبًا أَدَّبَنِي ٱلرَّبُّ، وَإِلَى ٱلْمَوْتِ لَمْ يُسْلِمْنِي.

Yah, chastened me sore, But, unto death, did not deliver me.

١٩ 19 اِفْتَحُوا لِي أَبْوَابَ ٱلْبِرِّ. أَدْخُلْ فِيهَا وَأَحْمَدِ ٱلرَّبَّ.

Open to me the gates of righteousness, I will enter therein, I will give thanks unto Yah.

٢٠ 20 هَذَا ٱلْبَابُ لِلرَّبِّ. ٱلصِّدِّيقُونَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِيهِ.

This, is the gate for Yahweh, Such as are righteous, shall enter therein.

٢١ 21 أَحْمَدُكَ لِأَنَّكَ ٱسْتَجَبْتَ لِي وَصِرْتَ لِي خَلَاصًا.

I will thank thee, because thou hast answered me, And hast become mine, by salvation.

٢٢ 22 ٱلْحَجَرُ ٱلَّذِي رَفَضَهُ ٱلْبَنَّاؤُونَ قَدْ صَارَ رَأْسَ ٱلزَّاوِيَةِ.

A stone the builders refused, hath become the head of the corner:

٢٣ 23 مِنْ قِبَلِ ٱلرَّبِّ كَانَ هَذَا، وَهُوَ عَجِيبٌ فِي أَعْيُنِنَا.

From Yahweh, hath this come to pass, The same, is marvellous in our eyes.

٢٤ 24 هَذَا هُوَ ٱلْيَوْمُ ٱلَّذِي صَنَعُهُ ٱلرَّبُّ، نَبْتَهِجُ وَنَفْرَحُ فِيهِ.

This is the day, which Yahweh hath made, We will exult, and be glad therein.

٢٥ 25 آهِ يَارَبُّ خَلِّصْ! آهِ يَارَبُّ أَنْقِذْ!

Ah now, Yahweh, do save, we beseech thee, Ah now, Yahweh, do send success, we beseech thee!

٢٦ 26 مُبَارَكٌ ٱلْآتِي بِٱسْمِ ٱلرَّبِّ. بَارَكْنَاكُمْ مِنْ بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ.

Blessed be he that entereth, In the Name of Yahweh, we have blessed you, out of the house of Yahweh.

٢٧ 27 ٱلرَّبُّ هُوَ ٱللهُ وَقَدْ أَنَارَ لَنَا. أَوْثِقُوا ٱلذَّبِيحَةَ بِرُبُطٍ إِلَى قُرُونِ ٱلْمَذْبَحِ.

Yahweh is GOD, and hath shed on us light, —Bind ye the festal sacrifice with cords, Up to the horns of the altar.

٢٨ 28 إِلَهِي أَنْتَ فَأَحْمَدُكَ، إِلَهِي فَأَرْفَعُكَ.

My GOD, thou art, and I will thank thee, —My Elohim, I will exalt thee.

٢٩ 29 ٱحْمَدُوا ٱلرَّبَّ لِأَنَّهُ صَالِحٌ، لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ.
