اَلْعَدَد 34

١ 1 وَكَلَّمَ ٱلرَّبُّ مُوسَى قَائِلًا:

And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:

٢ 2 «أَوْصِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَقُلْ لَهُمْ: إِنَّكُمْ دَاخِلُونَ إِلَى أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ. هَذِهِ هِيَ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلَّتِي تَقَعُ لَكُمْ نَصِيبًا. أَرْضُ كَنْعَانَ بِتُخُومِهَا:

Command the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, When, ye, are coming into the land of Canaan, this is the land which shall fall unto you, as an inheritance, even the land of Canaan, by the boundaries thereof.

٣ 3 تَكُونُ لَكُمْ نَاحِيَةُ ٱلْجَنُوبِ مِنْ بَرِّيَّةِ صِينَ عَلَى جَانِبِ أَدُومَ، وَيَكُونُ لَكُمْ تُخْمُ ٱلْجَنُوبِ مِنْ طَرَفِ بَحْرِ ٱلْمِلْحِ إِلَى ٱلشَّرْقِ،

Ye shall therefore have a south corner, from the desert of Zin, on the side of Edom, —so shall ye have a south boundary, from the end of the salt sea, eastward:

٤ 4 وَيَدُورُ لَكُمُ ٱلتَّخْمُ مِنْ جَنُوبِ عَقَبَةِ عَقْرِبِّيمَ، وَيَعْبُرُ إِلَى صِينَ، وَتَكُونُ مَخَارِجُهُ مِنْ جَنُوبِ قَادَشَ بَرْنِيعَ، وَيَخْرُجُ إِلَى حَصَرِ أَدَّارَ، وَيَعْبُرُ إِلَى عَصْمُونَ.

and the boundary shall go round for you from the south towards the cliffs of Akrabbim, then cross over towards Zin, and the extension thereof shall be from the south to Kadesh-barnea, then shall it reach out to Hazar-addar, and cross over towards Azmon;

٥ 5 ثُمَّ يَدُورُ ٱلتَّخْمُ مِنْ عَصْمُونَ إِلَى وَادِي مِصْرَ، وَتَكُونُ مَخَارِجُهُ عِنْدَ ٱلْبَحْرِ.

then shall the boundary turn round from Azmon towards the ravine of Egypt, —and the extension thereof shall be towards the sea.

٦ 6 وَأَمَّا تُخْمُ ٱلْغَرْبِ فَيَكُونُ ٱلْبَحْرُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ لَكُمْ تُخْمًا. هَذَا يَكُونُ لَكُمْ تُخْمُ ٱلْغَرْبِ.

And, for a west boundary, —ye shall have the great sea, even a boundary, this, shall serve you as west boundary.

٧ 7 وَهَذَا يَكُونُ لَكُمْ تُخْمُ ٱلشِّمَالِ. مِنَ ٱلْبَحْرِ ٱلْكَبِيرِ تَرْسُمُونَ لَكُمْ إِلَى جَبَلِ هُورَ.

And, this, shall serve you as a north boundary, —From the great sea, ye shall draw a line for you to Mount Hor:

٨ 8 وَمِنْ جَبَلِ هُورَ تَرْسُمُونَ إِلَى مَدْخَلِ حَمَاةَ، وَتَكُونُ مَخَارِجُ ٱلتَّخْمِ إِلَى صَدَدَ.

From Mount Hor, ye shall draw a line to the entering in of Hamath, —and the extension of the boundary shall be towards Zedad:

٩ 9 ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ ٱلتَّخْمُ إِلَى زِفْرُونَ، وَتَكُونُ مَخَارِجُهُ عِنْدَ حَصَرِ عِينَانَ. هَذَا يَكُونُ لَكُمْ تُخْمُ ٱلشِّمَالِ.

then shall the boundary reach out towards Ziphron, and the extension thereof, be to Hazar-enan. This, shall serve you as a north, boundary.

١٠ 10 وَتَرْسُمُونَ لَكُمْ تَخْمًا إِلَى ٱلشَّرْقِ مِنْ حَصَرِ عِينَانَ إِلَى شَفَامَ.

Then shall ye draw for yourselves a line, for an east boundary, —from Hazar-enan towards Shepham;

١١ 11 وَيَنْحَدِرُ ٱلتَّخْمُ مِنْ شَفَامَ إِلَى رَبْلَةَ شَرْقِيَّ عَيْنٍ. ثُمَّ يَنْحَدِرُ ٱلتَّخْمُ وَيَمَسُّ جَانِبَ بَحْرِ كِنَّارَةَ إِلَى ٱلشَّرْقِ.

and the boundary shall go down from Shepham towards Riblah, on the east of Ain—then shall the boundary go down and strike on the side of the Sea of Chinnereth, eastward:

١٢ 12 ثُمَّ يَنْحَدِرُ ٱلتَّخْمُ إِلَى ٱلْأُرْدُنِّ، وَتَكُونُ مَخَارِجُهُ عِنْدَ بَحْرِ ٱلْمِلْحِ. هَذِهِ تَكُونُ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ بِتُخُومِهَا حَوَالَيْهَا».

then shall the boundary go down towards the Jordan, and the extension thereof be to the salt sea. This shall be your land by the boundaries thereof round about.

١٣ 13 فَأَمَرَ مُوسَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ قَائِلًا: «هَذِهِ هِيَ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلَّتِي تَقْتَسِمُونَهَا بِٱلْقُرْعَةِ، ٱلَّتِي أَمَرَ ٱلرَّبُّ أَنْ تُعْطَى لِلتِّسْعَةِ ٱلْأَسْبَاطِ وَنِصْفِ ٱلسِّبْطِ.

And Moses commanded the sons of Israel saying, —This, is the land, which ye shall inherit by lot, which Yahweh had commanded to be given to the nine tribes and the half tribe.

١٤ 14 لِأَنَّهُ قَدْ أَخَذَ سِبْطُ بَنِي رَأُوبَيْنَ حَسَبَ بُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، وَسِبْطُ بَنِي جَادَ حَسَبَ بُيُوتِ آبَائِهِمْ، وَنِصْفُ سِبْطِ مَنَسَّى. قَدْ أَخَذُوا نَصِيبَهُمْ.

For the tribe of the sons of the Reubenites by their ancestral house, and the tribe of the sons of Gad, by their ancestral house, have received, and, the half tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance:

١٥ 15 اَلسِّبْطَانِ وَنِصْفُ ٱلسِّبْطِ قَدْ أَخَذُوا نَصِيبَهُمْ فِي عَبْرِ أُرْدُنِّ أَرِيحَا شَرْقًا، نَحْوَ ٱلشُّرُوقِ».

the two tribes, and the half tribe, have received their inheritance—on this side Jordan near Jericho, eastwards, towards sunrise.

١٦ 16 وَكَلَّمَ ٱلرَّبُّ مُوسَى قَائِلًا:

Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

١٧ 17 «هَذَانِ ٱسْمَا ٱلرَّجُلَيْنِ ٱللَّذَيْنِ يَقْسِمَانِ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ: أَلِعَازَارُ ٱلْكَاهِنُ وَيَشُوعُ بْنُ نُونَ.

These, are the names of the men who shall receive for you the land, as an inheritance, Eleazar, the priest, and Joshua, son of Nun.

١٨ 18 وَرَئِيسًا وَاحِدًا مِنْ كُلِّ سِبْطٍ تَأْخُذُونَ لِقِسْمَةِ ٱلْأَرْضِ.

Also, one prince from each tribe, shall ye take to receive the land, as an inheritance.

١٩ 19 وَهَذِهِ أَسْمَاءُ ٱلرِّجَالِ: مِنْ سِبْطِ يَهُوذَا كَالِبُ بْنُ يَفُنَّةَ.

These, therefore, are the names of the men, —For the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;

٢٠ 20 وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي شِمْعُونَ شَمُوئِيلُ بْنُ عَمِّيهُودَ.

And, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemuel son of Ammihud:

٢١ 21 وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنْيَامِينَ أَلِيدَادُ بْنُ كَسْلُونَ.

For the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon;

٢٢ 22 وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي دَانَ ٱلرَّئِيسُ بُقِّي بْنُ يُجْلِي.

And, for the tribe of the sons of Dan, a prince—Bukki, son of Jogli:

٢٣ 23 وَمِنْ بَنِي يُوسُفَ: مِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي مَنَسَّى ٱلرَّئِيسُ حَنِّيئِيلُ بْنُ إِيفُودَ.

For the sons of Joseph, For the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, a prince, —Hanniel son of Ephod;

٢٤ 24 وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي أَفْرَايِمَ ٱلرَّئِيسُ قَمُوئِيلُ بْنُ شِفْطَانَ.

And, for the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, a prince, —Kemuel, son of Shiphtan;

٢٥ 25 وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي زَبُولُونَ ٱلرَّئِيسُ أَلِيصَافَانُ بْنُ فَرْنَاخَ.

And, for the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, a prince, —Elizaphan, son of Parnach;

٢٦ 26 وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي يَسَّاكَرَ ٱلرَّئِيسُ فَلْطِيئِيلُ بْنُ عَزَّانَ.

And, for the tribe of the sons of Issachar, a prince, —Paltiel son of Azzan;

٢٧ 27 وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي أَشِيرَ ٱلرَّئِيسُ أَخِيهُودُ بْنُ شَلُومِي.

And, for the tribe of the sons of Asher, a prince, —Ahihud son of Shelomi:

٢٨ 28 وَمِنْ سِبْطِ بَنِي نَفْتَالِي ٱلرَّئِيسُ فَدَهْئِيلُ بْنُ عَمِّيهُودَ».

And, for the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, a prince, —Pedahel, son of Ammihud.

٢٩ 29 هَؤُلَاءِ هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ أَمَرَهُمُ ٱلرَّبُّ أَنْ يَقْسِمُوا لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ.

These, are they whom Yahweh hath commanded to receive for the sons of Israel their inheritance, in the land of Canaan.
