اَلْعَدَد 15

١ 1 وَكَلَّمَ ٱلرَّبُّ مُوسَى قَائِلًا:

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

٢ 2 «كَلِّمْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَقُلْ لَهُمْ: مَتَى جِئْتُمْ إِلَى أَرْضِ مَسْكَنِكُمُ ٱلَّتِي أَنَا أُعْطِيكُمْ،

Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, When ye come into the land of your habitations, which I give to you,

٣ 3 وَعَمِلْتُمْ وَقُودًا لِلرَّبِّ، مُحْرَقَةً أَوْ ذَبِيحَةً، وَفَاءً لِنَذْرٍ أَوْ نَافِلَةً أَوْ فِي أَعْيَادِكُمْ، لِعَمَلِ رَائِحَةِ سَرُورٍ لِلرَّبِّ مِنَ ٱلْبَقَرِ أَوْ مِنَ ٱلْغَنَمِ،

and will make an offering by fire to Jehovah, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or as a freewill offering, or in your set feasts, to make a sweet savor to Jehovah, of the herd, or of the flock,

٤ 4 يُقَرِّبُ ٱلَّذِي قَرَّبَ قُرْبَانَهُ لِلرَّبِّ تَقْدِمَةً مِنْ دَقِيقٍ، عُشْرًا مَلْتُوتًا بِرُبْعِ ٱلْهِينِ مِنَ ٱلزَّيْتِ،

then he who offers his oblation shall offer to Jehovah a meal offering of a tenth part of an ephah of fine flour mingled with the fourth part of a hin of oil.

٥ 5 وَخَمْرًا لِلسَّكِيبِ رُبْعَ ٱلْهِينِ. تَعْمَلُ عَلَى ٱلْمُحْرَقَةِ أَوِ ٱلذَّبِيحَةِ لِلْخَرُوفِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ.

And wine for the drink offering, the fourth part of a hin, thou shall prepare with the burnt offering, or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.

٦ 6 لَكِنْ لِلْكَبْشِ تَعْمَلُ تَقْدِمَةً مِنْ دَقِيقٍ عُشْرَيْنِ مَلْتُوتَيْنِ بِثُلْثِ ٱلْهِينِ مِنَ ٱلزَّيْتِ،

Or for a ram, thou shall prepare for a meal offering two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with the third part of a hin of oil.

٧ 7 وَخَمْرًا لِلسَّكِيبِ ثُلْثَ ٱلْهِينِ تُقَرِّبُ لِرَائِحَةِ سَرُورٍ لِلرَّبِّ.

And for the drink offering thou shall offer the third part of a hin of wine, of a sweet savor to Jehovah.

٨ 8 وَإِذَا عَمِلْتَ ٱبْنَ بَقَرٍ مُحْرَقَةً أَوْ ذَبِيحَةً وَفَاءً لِنَذْرٍ أَوْ ذَبِيحَةَ سَلَامَةٍ لِلرَّبِّ،

And when thou prepare a bullock for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or for peace offerings to Jehovah;

٩ 9 تُقَرِّبُ عَلَى ٱبْنِ ٱلْبَقَرِ تَقْدِمَةً مِنْ دَقِيقٍ ثَلَاثَةَ أَعْشَارٍ مَلْتُوتَةً بِنِصْفِ ٱلْهِينِ مِنَ ٱلزَّيْتِ،

then he shall offer with the bullock a meal offering of three tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with half a hin of oil.

١٠ 10 وَخَمْرًا تُقَرِّبُ لِلسَّكِيبِ نِصْفَ ٱلْهِينِ وَقُودَ رَائِحَةِ سَرُورٍ لِلرَّبِّ.

And thou shall offer for the drink offering half a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to Jehovah.

١١ 11 هَكَذَا يُعْمَلُ لِلثَّوْرِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ أَوْ لِلْكَبْشِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ أَوْ لِلشَّاةِ مِنَ ٱلضَّأْنِ أَوْ مِنَ ٱلْمَعْزِ.

Thus shall it be done for each bullock, or for each ram, or for each of the he-lambs, or of the kids.

١٢ 12 كَٱلْعَدَدِ ٱلَّذِي تَعْمَلُونَ هَكَذَا تَعْمَلُونَ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ حَسَبَ عَدَدِهِنَّ.

According to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to every one according to their number.

١٣ 13 كُلُّ وَطَنِيٍّ يَعْمَلُ هَذِهِ هَكَذَا، لِتَقْرِيبِ وَقُودِ رَائِحَةِ سَرُورٍ لِلرَّبِّ.

All who are home-born shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to Jehovah.

١٤ 14 وَإِذَا نَزَلَ عِنْدَكُمْ غَرِيبٌ، أَوْ كَانَ أَحَدٌ فِي وَسَطِكُمْ فِي أَجْيَالِكُمْ وَعَمِلَ وَقُودَ رَائِحَةِ سُرُورٍ لِلرَّبِّ، فَكَمَا تَفْعَلُونَ كَذَلِكَ يَفْعَلُ.

And if a stranger sojourns with you, or whoever may be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to Jehovah; as ye do, so he shall do.

١٥ 15 أَيَّتُهَا ٱلْجَمَاعَةُ، لَكُمْ وَلِلْغَرِيبِ ٱلنَّازِلِ عِنْدَكُمْ فَرِيضَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ دَهْرِيَّةٌ فِي أَجْيَالِكُمْ. مَثَلُكُمْ يَكُونُ مَثَلَ ٱلْغَرِيبِ أَمَامَ ٱلرَّبِّ.

For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you, and for the stranger who sojourns with you, a statute forever throughout your generations. As ye are, so shall the sojourner be before Jehovah.

١٦ 16 شَرِيعَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ وَحُكْمٌ وَاحِدٌ يَكُونُ لَكُمْ وَلِلْغَرِيبِ ٱلنَّازِلِ عِنْدَكُمْ».

One law and one ordinance shall be for you, and for the stranger who sojourns with you.

١٧ 17 وَكَلَّمَ ٱلرَّبُّ مُوسَى قَائِلًا:

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

١٨ 18 «كَلِّمْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَقُلْ لَهُمْ: مَتَى دَخَلْتُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ ٱلَّتِي أَنَا آتٍ بِكُمْ إِلَيْهَا،

Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, When ye come into the land where I bring you,

١٩ 19 فَعِنْدَمَا تَأْكُلُونَ مِنْ خُبْزِ ٱلْأَرْضِ تَرْفَعُونَ رَفِيعَةً لِلرَّبِّ.

then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up a heave offering to Jehovah.

٢٠ 20 أَوَّلَ عَجِينِكُمْ تَرْفَعُونَ قُرْصًا رَفِيعَةً، كَرَفِيعَةِ ٱلْبَيْدَرِ هَكَذَا تَرْفَعُونَهُ.

Of the first of your dough ye shall offer up a cake for a heave offering, as the heave offering of the threshing-floor, so shall ye heave it.

٢١ 21 مِنْ أَوَّلِ عَجِينِكُمْ تُعْطُونَ لِلرَّبِّ رَفِيعَةً فِي أَجْيَالِكُمْ.

Of the first of your dough ye shall give to Jehovah a heave offering throughout your generations.

٢٢ 22 «وَإِذَا سَهَوْتُمْ وَلَمْ تَعْمَلُوا جَمِيعَ هَذِهِ ٱلْوَصَايَا ٱلَّتِي كَلَّمَ بِهَا ٱلرَّبُّ مُوسَى،

And when ye shall err, and not observe all these commandments, which Jehovah has spoken to Moses,

٢٣ 23 جَمِيعَ مَا أَمَرَكُمْ بِهِ ٱلرَّبُّ عَنْ يَدِ مُوسَى، مِنَ ٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلَّذِي أَمَرَ فِيهِ ٱلرَّبُّ فَصَاعِدًا فِي أَجْيَالِكُمْ،

even all that Jehovah has commanded you by Moses, from the day that Jehovah gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations,

٢٤ 24 فَإِنْ عُمِلَ خُفْيَةً عَنْ أَعْيُنِ ٱلْجَمَاعَةِ سَهْوًا، يَعْمَلُ كُلُّ ٱلْجَمَاعَةِ ثَوْرًا وَاحِدًا ٱبْنَ بَقَرٍ مُحْرَقَةً لِرَائِحَةِ سَرُورٍ لِلرَّبِّ، مَعَ تَقْدِمَتِهِ وَسَكِيبِهِ كَٱلْعَادَةِ، وَتَيْسًا وَاحِدًا مِنَ ٱلْمَعْزِ ذَبِيحَةَ خَطِيَّةٍ.

then it shall be, if it be done unwittingly, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savor to Jehovah, with the meal offering of it, and the drink offering of it, according to the ordinance, and one he-goat for a sin offering.

٢٥ 25 فَيُكَفِّرُ ٱلْكَاهِنُ عَنْ كُلِّ جَمَاعَةِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، فَيُصْفَحُ عَنْهُمْ لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ سَهْوًا. فَإِذَا أَتَوْا بِقُرْبَانِهِمْ وَقُودًا لِلرَّبِّ، وَبِذَبِيحَةِ خَطِيَّتِهِمْ أَمَامَ ٱلرَّبِّ لِأَجْلِ سَهْوِهِمْ،

And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and they shall be forgiven, for it was an error, and they have brought their oblation, an offering made by fire to Jehovah, and their sin offering before Jehovah, for their error.

٢٦ 26 يُصْفَحُ عَنْ كُلِّ جَمَاعَةِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَٱلْغَرِيبِ ٱلنَّازِلِ بَيْنَهُمْ، لِأَنَّهُ حَدَثَ لِجَمِيعِ ٱلشَّعْبِ بِسَهْوٍ.

And all the congregation of the sons of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger who sojourns among them, for in respect of all the people it was done unwittingly.

٢٧ 27 «وَإِنْ أَخْطَأَتْ نَفْسٌ وَاحِدَةٌ سَهْوًا، تُقَرِّبْ عَنْزًا حَوْلِيَّةً ذَبِيحَةَ خَطِيَّةٍ،

And if one soul sins unwittingly, then he shall offer a she-goat a year old for a sin offering.

٢٨ 28 فَيُكَفِّرُ ٱلْكَاهِنُ عَنِ ٱلنَّفْسِ ٱلَّتِي سَهَتْ عِنْدَمَا أَخْطَأَتْ بِسَهْوٍ أَمَامَ ٱلرَّبِّ لِلتَّكْفِيرِ عَنْهَا، فَيُصْفَحُ عَنْهَا.

And the priest shall make atonement for the soul that errs, when he sins unwittingly, before Jehovah, to make atonement for him, and he shall be forgiven.

٢٩ 29 لِلْوَطَنِيِّ فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلِلْغَرِيبِ ٱلنَّازِلِ بَيْنَهُمْ تَكُونُ شَرِيعَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ لِلْعَامِلِ بِسَهْوٍ.

Ye shall have one law for him who does anything unwittingly, for him who is home-born among the sons of Israel, and for the stranger who sojourns among them.

٣٠ 30 وَأَمَّا ٱلنَّفْسُ ٱلَّتِي تَعْمَلُ بِيَدٍ رَفِيعَةٍ مِنَ ٱلْوَطَنِيِّينَ أَوْ مِنَ ٱلْغُرَبَاءِ فَهِيَ تَزْدَرِي بِٱلرَّبِّ. فَتُقْطَعُ تِلْكَ ٱلنَّفْسُ مِنْ بَيْنِ شَعْبِهَا،

But the soul that does anything with a high hand, whether he be home-born or a sojourner, the same blasphemes Jehovah, and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

٣١ 31 لِأَنَّهَا ٱحْتَقَرَتْ كَلَامَ ٱلرَّبِّ وَنَقَضَتْ وَصِيَّتَهُ. قَطْعًا تُقْطَعُ تِلْكَ ٱلنَّفْسُ. ذَنْبُهَا عَلَيْهَا».

Because he has despised the word of Jehovah, and has broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.

٣٢ 32 وَلَمَّا كَانَ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي ٱلْبَرِّيَّةِ وَجَدُوا رَجُلًا يَحْتَطِبُ حَطَبًا فِي يَوْمِ ٱلسَّبْتِ.

And while the sons of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks upon the sabbath day.

٣٣ 33 فَقَدَّمَهُ ٱلَّذِينَ وَجَدُوهُ يَحْتَطِبُ حَطَبًا إِلَى مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ وَكُلِّ ٱلْجَمَاعَةِ.

And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation.

٣٤ 34 فَوَضَعُوهُ فِي ٱلْمَحْرَسِ لِأَنَّهُ لَمْ يُعْلَنْ مَاذَا يُفْعَلُ بِهِ.

And they put him in ward, because it had not been declared what should be done to him.

٣٥ 35 فَقَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ لِمُوسَى: «قَتْلًا يُقْتَلُ ٱلرَّجُلُ. يَرْجُمُهُ بِحِجَارَةٍ كُلُّ ٱلْجَمَاعَةِ خَارِجَ ٱلْمَحَلَّةِ».

And Jehovah said to Moses, The man shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.

٣٦ 36 فَأَخْرَجَهُ كُلُّ ٱلْجَمَاعَةِ إِلَى خَارِجِ ٱلْمَحَلَّةِ وَرَجَمُوهُ بِحِجَارَةٍ، فَمَاتَ كَمَا أَمَرَ ٱلرَّبُّ مُوسَى.

And all the congregation brought him outside the camp, and stoned him to death with stones, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

٣٧ 37 وَكَلَّمَ ٱلرَّبُّ مُوسَى قَائِلًا:

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

٣٨ 38 «كَلِّمْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَقُلْ لَهُمْ: أَنْ يَصْنَعُوا لَهُمْ أَهْدَابًا فِي أَذْيَالِ ثِيَابِهِمْ فِي أَجْيَالِهِمْ، وَيَجْعَلُوا عَلَى هُدْبِ ٱلذَّيْلِ عِصَابَةً مِنْ أَسْمَانْجُونِيٍّ.

Speak to the sons of Israel, and bid them that they make for them hems in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the hem of each border a cord of blue.

٣٩ 39 فَتَكُونُ لَكُمْ هُدْبًا، فَتَرَوْنَهَا وَتَذْكُرُونَ كُلَّ وَصَايَا ٱلرَّبِّ وَتَعْمَلُونَهَا، وَلَا تَطُوفُونَ وَرَاءَ قُلُوبِكُمْ وَأَعْيُنِكُمُ ٱلَّتِي أَنْتُمْ فَاسِقُونَ وَرَاءَهَا،

And it shall be to you for a hem, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of Jehovah, and do them, and that ye not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to play the harlot,

٤٠ 40 لِكَيْ تَذْكُرُوا وَتَعْمَلُوا كُلَّ وَصَايَايَ، وَتَكُونُوا مُقَدَّسِينَ لِإِلَهِكُمْ.

that ye may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God.

٤١ 41 أَنَا ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمُ ٱلَّذِي أَخْرَجَكُمْ مِنْ أَرْضِ مِصْرَ لِيَكُونَ لَكُمْ إِلَهًا. أَنَا ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ».

I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. I am Jehovah your God.
