اَللَّاوِيِّينَ 12

١ 1 وَكَلَّمَ ٱلرَّبُّ مُوسَى قَائِلًا:

And the Lord spak to Moises, `and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel,

٢ 2 «كَلِّمْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ قَائِلًا: إِذَا حَبِلَتِ ٱمْرَأَةٌ وَوَلَدَتْ ذَكَرًا، تَكُونُ نَجِسَةً سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ. كَمَا فِي أَيَّامِ طَمْثِ عِلَّتِهَا تَكُونُ نَجِسَةً.

and thou schalt seie to hem, If a womman, whanne sche hath resseyued seed, childith a knaue child, sche schal be vnclene bi seuene daies bi the daies of departyng of corrupt blood, that renneth bi monethis;

٣ 3 وَفِي ٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلثَّامِنِ يُخْتَنُ لَحْمُ غُرْلَتِهِ.

and the yong child schal be circumsidid in the eiytithe dai.

٤ 4 ثُمَّ تُقِيمُ ثَلَاثَةً وَثَلَاثِينَ يَوْمًا فِي دَمِ تَطْهِيرِهَا. كُلَّ شَيْءٍ مُقَدَّسٍ لَا تَمَسَّ، وَإِلَى ٱلْمَقْدِسِ لَا تَجِئْ حَتَّى تَكْمُلَ أَيَّامُ تَطْهِيرِهَا.

Sotheli sche schal dwelle thre and thretti daies in the blood of hir purifiyng; sche schal not touche ony hooli thing, nethir sche schal entre in to the seyntuarie, til the daies of her clensing be fillid.

٥ 5 وَإِنْ وَلَدَتْ أُنْثَى، تَكُونُ نَجِسَةً أُسْبُوعَيْنِ كَمَا فِي طَمْثِهَا. ثُمَّ تُقِيمُ سِتَّةً وَسِتِّينَ يَوْمًا فِي دَمِ تَطْهِيرِهَا.

Sotheli if sche childith a female, sche schal be vnclene twei woukis, bi the custom of flowyng of vnclene blood, and `thre scoor and sixe daies sche schal dwelle in the blood of her clensyng.

٦ 6 وَمَتَى كَمُلَتْ أَيَّامُ تَطْهِيرِهَا لِأَجْلِ ٱبْنٍ أَوِ ٱبْنَةٍ، تَأْتِي بِخَرُوفٍ حَوْلِيٍّ مُحْرَقَةً، وَفَرْخِ حَمَامَةٍ أَوْ يَمَامَةٍ ذَبِيحَةَ خَطِيَّةٍ إِلَى بَابِ خَيْمَةِ ٱلِٱجْتِمَاعِ، إِلَى ٱلْكَاهِنِ،

And whanne the daies of hir clensyng, for a sone, ether for a douytir, ben fillid, sche schal brynge a lomb of o yeer in to brent sacrifice, and a `bryd of a culuer, ethir a turtle, for synne, to the dore of the tabernacle of witnessyng;

٧ 7 فَيُقَدِّمُهُمَا أَمَامَ ٱلرَّبِّ وَيُكَفِّرُ عَنْهَا، فَتَطْهُرُ مِنْ يَنْبُوعِ دَمِهَا. هَذِهِ شَرِيعَةُ ٱلَّتِي تَلِدُ ذَكَرًا أَوْ أُنْثَى.

and sche schal yyue to the preest, which schal offre tho bifor the Lord, and schal preye for hir, and so sche schal be clensid fro the fowyng of hir blood. This is the lawe of a womman childynge a male, ethir a female.

٨ 8 وَإِنْ لَمْ تَنَلْ يَدُهَا كِفَايَةً لِشَاةٍ تَأْخُذُ يَمَامَتَيْنِ أَوْ فَرْخَيْ حَمَامٍ، ٱلْوَاحِدَ مُحْرَقَةً، وَٱلْآخَرَ ذَبِيحَةَ خَطِيَّةٍ، فَيُكَفِّرُ عَنْهَا ٱلْكَاهِنُ فَتَطْهُرُ».

That if hir hond fyndith not, nethir may offre a lomb, sche schal take twei turtlis, ethir twei `briddis of culueres, oon in to brent sacrifice, and the tother for synne; and the preest schal preye for hir, and so sche schal be clensid.
