اَلْقُضَاة 16
| ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ شَمْشُونُ إِلَى غَزَّةَ، وَرَأَى هُنَاكَ ٱمْرَأَةً زَانِيَةً فَدَخَلَ إِلَيْهَا. | ١ 1 |
and to go: went Samson Gaza [to] and to see: see there woman to fornicate and to come (in): marry to(wards) her
| فَقِيلَ لِلْغَزِّيِّينَ: «قَدْ أَتَى شَمْشُونُ إِلَى هُنَا». فَأَحَاطُوا بِهِ وَكَمَنُوا لَهُ ٱللَّيْلَ كُلَّهُ عِنْدَ بَابِ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ. فَهَدَأُوا ٱللَّيْلَ كُلَّهُ قَائِلِينَ: «عِنْدَ ضَوْءِ ٱلصَّبَاحِ نَقْتُلُهُ». | ٢ 2 |
to/for Gaza to/for to say to come (in): come Samson here/thus and to turn: surround and to ambush to/for him all [the] night in/on/with gate [the] city and be quiet all [the] night to/for to say till light [the] morning and to kill him
| فَٱضْطَجَعَ شَمْشُونُ إِلَى نِصْفِ ٱللَّيْلِ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فِي نِصْفِ ٱللَّيْلِ وَأَخَذَ مِصْرَاعَيْ بَابِ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ وَٱلْقَائِمَتَيْنِ وَقَلَعَهُمَا مَعَ ٱلْعَارِضَةِ، وَوَضَعَهَا عَلَى كَتِفَيْهِ وَصَعِدَ بِهَا إِلَى رَأْسِ ٱلْجَبَلِ ٱلَّذِي مُقَابِلَ حَبْرُونَ. | ٣ 3 |
and to lie down: sleep Samson till half [the] night and to arise: rise in/on/with half [the] night and to grasp in/on/with door gate [the] city and in/on/with two [the] doorpost and to set out them with [the] bar and to set: put upon shoulder his and to ascend: establish them to(wards) head: top [the] mountain: mount which upon face: before Hebron
| وَكَانَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَنَّهُ أَحَبَّ ٱمْرَأَةً فِي وَادِي سُورَقَ ٱسْمُهَا دَلِيلَةُ. | ٤ 4 |
and to be after so and to love: lover woman in/on/with (Sorek) Valley (Valley of) Sorek and name her Delilah
| فَصَعِدَ إِلَيْهَا أَقْطَابُ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ وَقَالُوا لَهَا: «تَمَلَّقِيهِ وَٱنْظُرِي بِمَاذَا قُوَّتُهُ ٱلْعَظِيمَةُ، وَبِمَاذَا نَتَمَكَّنُ مِنْهُ لِكَيْ نُوثِقَهُ لِإِذْلَالِهِ، فَنُعْطِيَكِ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ أَلْفًا وَمِئَةَ شَاقِلِ فِضَّةٍ». | ٥ 5 |
and to ascend: rise to(wards) her lord Philistine and to say to/for her to entice [obj] him and to see: see in/on/with what? strength his great: large and in/on/with what? be able to/for him and to bind him to/for to afflict him and we to give: give to/for you man: anyone thousand and hundred silver: money
| فَقَالَتْ دَلِيلَةُ لِشَمْشُونَ: «أَخْبِرْنِي بِمَاذَا قُوَّتُكَ ٱلْعَظِيمَةُ؟ وَبِمَاذَا تُوثَقُ لِإِذْلَالِكَ؟» | ٦ 6 |
and to say Delilah to(wards) Samson to tell [emph?] please to/for me in/on/with what? strength your great: large and in/on/with what? to bind to/for to afflict you
| فَقَالَ لَهَا شَمْشُونُ: «إِذَا أَوْثَقُونِي بِسَبْعَةِ أَوْتَارٍ طَرِيَّةٍ لَمْ تَجِفَّ، أَضْعُفُ وَأَصِيرُ كَوَاحِدٍ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ». | ٧ 7 |
and to say to(wards) her Samson if to bind me in/on/with seven cord fresh which not to dry and be weak: weak and to be like/as one [the] man
| فَأَصْعَدَ لَهَا أَقْطَابُ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ سَبْعَةَ أَوْتَارٍ طَرِيَّةٍ لَمْ تَجِفَّ، فَأَوْثَقَتْهُ بِهَا، | ٨ 8 |
and to ascend: establish to/for her lord Philistine seven cord fresh which not to dry and to bind him in/on/with them
| وَٱلْكَمِينُ لَابِثٌ عِنْدَهَا فِي ٱلْحُجْرَةِ. فَقَالَتْ لَهُ: «ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيُّونَ عَلَيْكَ يَا شَمْشُونُ». فَقَطَعَ ٱلْأَوْتَارَ كَمَا يُقْطَعُ فَتِيلُ ٱلْمَشَاقَةِ إِذَا شَمَّ ٱلنَّارَ، وَلَمْ تُعْلَمْ قُوَّتُهُ. | ٩ 9 |
and [the] to ambush to dwell to/for her in/on/with chamber and to say to(wards) him Philistine upon you Samson and to tear [obj] [the] cord like/as as which to tear cord [the] tow in/on/with to smell he fire and not to know strength his
| فَقَالَتْ دَلِيلَةُ لِشَمْشُونَ: «هَا قَدْ خَتَلْتَنِي وَكَلَّمْتَنِي بِٱلْكَذِبِ، فَأَخْبِرْنِيَ ٱلْآنَ بِمَاذَا تُوثَقُ؟». | ١٠ 10 |

| فَقَالَ لَهَا: «إِذَا أَوْثَقُونِي بِحِبَالٍ جَدِيدَةٍ لَمْ تُسْتَعْمَلْ، أَضْعُفُ وَأَصِيرُ كَوَاحِدٍ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ». | ١١ 11 |

| فَأَخَذَتْ دَلِيلَةُ حِبَالًا جَدِيدَةً وَأَوْثَقَتْهُ بِهَا، وَقَالَتْ لَهُ: «ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيُّونَ عَلَيْكَ يَا شَمْشُونُ، وَٱلْكَمِينُ لَابِثٌ فِي ٱلْحُجْرَةِ». فَقَطَعَهَا عَنْ ذِرَاعَيْهِ كَخَيْطٍ. | ١٢ 12 |
and to take: take Delilah cord new and to bind him in/on/with them and to say to(wards) him Philistine upon you Samson and [the] to ambush to dwell in/on/with chamber and to tear them from upon arm his like/as thread
| فَقَالَتْ دَلِيلَةُ لِشَمْشُونَ: «حَتَّى ٱلْآنَ خَتَلْتَنِي وَكَلَّمْتَنِي بِٱلْكَذِبِ، فَأَخْبِرْنِي بِمَاذَا تُوثَقُ؟». فَقَالَ لَهَا: «إِذَا ضَفَرْتِ سَبْعَ خُصَلِ رَأْسِي مَعَ ٱلسَّدَى» | ١٣ 13 |

| فَمَكَّنَتْهَا بِٱلْوَتَدِ. وَقَالَتْ لَهُ: «ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيُّونَ عَلَيْكَ يَا شَمْشُونُ». فَٱنْتَبَهَ مِنْ نَوْمِهِ وَقَلَعَ وَتَدَ ٱلنَّسِيجِ وَٱلسَّدَى. | ١٤ 14 |
(and to sleep him and to weave [obj] seven lock head his with [the] weave *X) and to blow in/on/with peg and to say to(wards) him Philistine upon you Samson and to awake from sleep his and to set out [obj] [the] peg [the] shuttle and [obj] [the] weave
| فَقَالَتْ لَهُ: «كَيْفَ تَقُولُ أُحِبُّكِ، وَقَلْبُكَ لَيْسَ مَعِي؟ هُوَذَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ قَدْ خَتَلْتَنِي وَلَمْ تُخْبِرْنِي بِمَاذَا قُوَّتُكَ ٱلْعَظِيمَةُ». | ١٥ 15 |

| وَلَمَّا كَانَتْ تُضَايِقُهُ بِكَلَامِهَا كُلَّ يَوْمٍ وَأَلَحَّتْ عَلَيْهِ، ضَاقَتْ نَفْسُهُ إِلَى ٱلْمَوْتِ، | ١٦ 16 |

| فَكَشَفَ لَهَا كُلَّ قَلْبِهِ، وَقَالَ لَهَا: «لَمْ يَعْلُ مُوسَى رَأْسِي لِأَنِّي نَذِيرُ ٱللهِ مِنْ بَطْنِ أُمِّي، فَإِنْ حُلِقْتُ تُفَارِقُنِي قُوَّتِي وَأَضْعُفُ وَأَصِيرُ كَأَحَدِ ٱلنَّاسِ». | ١٧ 17 |

| وَلَمَّا رَأَتْ دَلِيلَةُ أَنَّهُ قَدْ أَخْبَرَهَا بِكُلِّ مَا بِقَلْبِهِ، أَرْسَلَتْ فَدَعَتْ أَقْطَابَ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ وَقَالَتِ: «ٱصْعَدُوا هَذِهِ ٱلْمَرَّةَ فَإِنَّهُ قَدْ كَشَفَ لِي كُلَّ قَلْبِهِ». فَصَعِدَ إِلَيْهَا أَقْطَابُ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ وَأَصْعَدُوا ٱلْفِضَّةَ بِيَدِهِمْ. | ١٨ 18 |
and to see: see Delilah for to tell to/for her [obj] all heart his and to send: depart and to call: call to to/for lord Philistine to/for to say to ascend: rise [the] beat for to tell (to/for me *QK) [obj] all heart his and to ascend: rise to(wards) her lord Philistine and to ascend: establish [the] silver: money in/on/with hand their
| وَأَنَامَتْهُ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهَا وَدَعَتْ رَجُلًا وَحَلَقَتْ سَبْعَ خُصَلِ رَأْسِهِ، وَٱبْتَدَأَتْ بِإِذْلَالِهِ، وَفَارَقَتْهُ قُوَّتُهُ. | ١٩ 19 |

| وَقَالَتِ: «ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيُّونَ عَلَيْكَ يَا شَمْشُونُ». فَٱنْتَبَهَ مِنْ نَوْمِهِ وَقَالَ: «أَخْرُجُ حَسَبَ كُلِّ مَرَّةٍ وَأَنْتَفِضُ». وَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ أَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ قَدْ فَارَقَهُ. | ٢٠ 20 |
and to say Philistine upon you Samson and to awake from sleep his and to say to come out: come like/as beat in/on/with beat and to shake and he/she/it not to know for LORD to turn aside: depart from upon him
| فَأَخَذَهُ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيُّونَ وَقَلَعُوا عَيْنَيْهِ، وَنَزَلُوا بِهِ إِلَى غَزَّةَ وَأَوْثَقُوهُ بِسَلَاسِلِ نُحَاسٍ. وَكَانَ يَطْحَنُ فِي بَيْتِ ٱلسِّجْنِ. | ٢١ 21 |

| وَٱبْتَدَأَ شَعْرُ رَأْسِهِ يَنْبُتُ بَعْدَ أَنْ حُلِقَ. | ٢٢ 22 |

| وَأَمَّا أَقْطَابُ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ فَٱجْتَمَعُوا لِيَذْبَحُوا ذَبِيحَةً عَظِيمَةً لِدَاجُونَ إِلَهِهِمْ وَيَفْرَحُوا، وَقَالُوا: «قَدْ دَفَعَ إِلَهُنَا لِيَدِنَا شَمْشُونَ عَدُوَّنَا». | ٢٣ 23 |

| وَلَمَّا رَآهُ ٱلشَّعْبُ مَجَّدُوا إِلَهَهُمْ، لِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا: «قَدْ دَفَعَ إِلَهُنَا لِيَدِنَا عَدُوَّنَا ٱلَّذِي خَرَّبَ أَرْضَنَا وَكَثَّرَ قَتْلَانَا». | ٢٤ 24 |

| وَكَانَ لَمَّا طَابَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا: «ٱدْعُوا شَمْشُونَ لِيَلْعَبَ لَنَا». فَدَعَوْا شَمْشُونَ مِنْ بَيْتِ ٱلسِّجْنِ، فَلَعِبَ أَمَامَهُمْ. وَأَوْقَفُوهُ بَيْنَ ٱلْأَعْمِدَةِ. | ٢٥ 25 |
and to be (for like/as be pleasing *QK) heart their and to say to call: call to to/for Samson and to laugh to/for us and to call: call to to/for Samson from house: home ([the] to bind *QK) and to laugh to/for face: before their and to stand: stand [obj] him between [the] pillar
| فَقَالَ شَمْشُونُ لِلْغُلَامِ ٱلْمَاسِكِ بِيَدِهِ: «دَعْنِي أَلْمِسِ ٱلْأَعْمِدَةَ ٱلَّتِي ٱلْبَيْتُ قَائِمٌ عَلَيْهَا لِأَسْتَنِدَ عَلَيْهَا». | ٢٦ 26 |

| وَكَانَ ٱلْبَيْتُ مَمْلُوءًا رِجَالًا وَنِسَاءً، وَكَانَ هُنَاكَ جَمِيعُ أَقْطَابِ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ، وَعَلَى ٱلسَّطْحِ نَحْوُ ثَلَاثَةِ آلَافِ رَجُلٍ وَٱمْرَأَةٍ يَنْظُرُونَ لِعْبَ شَمْشُونَ. | ٢٧ 27 |

| فَدَعَا شَمْشُونُ ٱلرَّبَّ وَقَالَ: «يَا سَيِّدِي ٱلرَّبَّ، ٱذْكُرْنِي وَشَدِّدْنِي يَا ٱللهُ هَذِهِ ٱلْمَرَّةَ فَقَطْ، فَأَنْتَقِمَ نَقْمَةً وَاحِدَةً عَنْ عَيْنَيَّ مِنَ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ». | ٢٨ 28 |

| وَقَبَضَ شَمْشُونُ عَلَى ٱلْعَمُودَيْنِ ٱلْمُتَوَسِّطَيْنِ ٱللَّذَيْنِ كَانَ ٱلْبَيْتُ قَائِمًا عَلَيْهِمَا، وَٱسْتَنَدَ عَلَيْهِمَا ٱلْوَاحِدِ بِيَمِينِهِ وَٱلْآخَرِ بِيَسَارِهِ. | ٢٩ 29 |

| وَقَالَ شَمْشُونُ: «لِتَمُتْ نَفْسِي مَعَ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ». وَٱنْحَنَى بِقُوَّةٍ فَسَقَطَ ٱلْبَيْتُ عَلَى ٱلْأَقْطَابِ وَعَلَى كُلِّ ٱلشَّعْبِ ٱلَّذِي فِيهِ، فَكَانَ ٱلْمَوْتَى ٱلَّذِينَ أَمَاتَهُمْ فِي مَوْتِهِ، أَكْثَرَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَمَاتَهُمْ فِي حَيَاتِهِ. | ٣٠ 30 |

| فَنَزَلَ إِخْوَتُهُ وَكُلُّ بَيْتِ أَبِيهِ وَحَمَلُوهُ وَصَعِدُوا بِهِ وَدَفَنُوهُ بَيْنَ صُرْعَةَ وَأَشْتَأُولَ، فِي قَبْرِ مَنُوحَ أَبِيهِ. وَهُوَ قَضَى لِإِسْرَائِيلَ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً. | ٣١ 31 |
