يَشُوع 13

١ 1 وَشَاخَ يَشُوعُ. تَقَدَّمَ فِي ٱلْأَيَّامِ. فَقَالَ لَهُ ٱلرَّبُّ: «أَنْتَ قَدْ شِخْتَ. تَقَدَّمْتَ فِي ٱلْأَيَّامِ. وَقَدْ بَقِيَتْ أَرْضٌ كَثِيرَةٌ جِدًّا لِلِٱمْتِلَاكِ.

Now Joshua was old and well stricken in years, and Jehovah said to him, Thou are old and well stricken in years, and there remains yet very much land to be possessed.

٢ 2 هَذِهِ هِيَ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلْبَاقِيَةُ: كُلُّ دَائِرَةِ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ، وَكُلُّ ٱلْجَشُورِيِّينَ

This is the land that yet remains: all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshurites;

٣ 3 مِنَ ٱلشِّيحُورِ ٱلَّذِي هُوَ أَمَامَ مِصْرَ إِلَى تُخْمِ عَقْرُونَ شِمَالًا تُحْسَبُ لِلْكَنْعَانِيِّينَ أَقْطَابِ ٱلْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ ٱلْخَمْسَةِ: ٱلْغَزِّيِّ وَٱلْأَشْدُودِيِّ وَٱلْأَشْقَلُونِيِّ وَٱلْجَتِّيِّ وَٱلْعَقْرُونِيِّ، وَٱلْعَوِيِّينَ.

from the Shihor, which is before Egypt, even to the border of Ekron northward, which is reckoned to the Canaanites; the five lords of the Philistines; the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avvim

٤ 4 مِنَ ٱلتَّيْمَنِ كُلُّ أَرْضِ ٱلْكَنْعَانِيِّينَ، وَمَغَارَةُ ٱلَّتِي لِلصِّيدُونِيِّينَ إِلَى أَفِيقَ إِلَى تُخْمِ ٱلْأَمُورِيِّينَ.

on the south; all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongs to the Sidonians, to Aphek, to the border of the Amorites;

٥ 5 وَأَرْضُ ٱلْجِبْلِيِّينَ، وَكُلُّ لُبْنَانَ نَحْوَ شُرُوقِ ٱلشَّمْسِ، مِنْ بَعْلِ جَادَ تَحْتَ جَبَلِ حَرْمُونَ إِلَى مَدْخَلِ حَمَاةَ.

and the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrise, from Baal-gad under mount Hermon to the entrance of Hamath;

٦ 6 جَمِيعُ سُكَّانِ ٱلْجَبَلِ مِنْ لُبْنَانَ إِلَى مِسْرَفُوتِ مَايِمَ، جَمِيعُ ٱلصِّيدُونِيِّينَ. أَنَا أَطْرُدُهُمْ مِنْ أَمَامِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ. إِنَّمَا ٱقْسِمْهَا بِٱلْقُرْعَةِ لإِسْرَائِيلَ مُلْكًا كَمَا أَمَرْتُكَ.

all the inhabitants of the hill-country from Lebanon to Misrephoth-maim, even all the Sidonians. I will drive them out from before the sons of Israel, only allot thou it to Israel for an inheritance as I have commanded thee.

٧ 7 وَٱلْآنَ ٱقْسِمْ هَذِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ مُلْكًا لِلتِّسْعَةِ ٱلْأَسْبَاطِ وَنِصْفِ سِبْطِ مَنَسَّى».

Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.

٨ 8 مَعَهُمْ أَخَذَ ٱلرَّأُوبَيْنِيُّونَ وَٱلْجَادِيُّونَ مُلْكَهُمْ ٱلَّذِي أَعْطَاهُمْ مُوسَى فِي عَبْرِ ٱلْأُرْدُنِّ نَحْوَ ٱلشُّرُوقِ، كَمَا أَعْطَاهُمْ مُوسَى عَبْدُ ٱلرَّبِّ.

With him the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of Jehovah gave them:

٩ 9 مِنْ عَرُوعِيرَ ٱلَّتِي عَلَى حَافَةِ وَادِي أَرْنُونَ وَٱلْمَدِينَةِ ٱلَّتِي فِي وَسَطِ ٱلْوَادِي، وَكُلَّ سَهْلِ مِيَدَبَا إِلَى دِيبُونَ،

from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain of Medeba to Dibon;

١٠ 10 وَجَمِيعَ مُدُنِ سِيحُونَ مَلِكِ ٱلْأَمُورِيِّينَ ٱلَّذِي مَلَكَ فِي حَشْبُونَ إِلَى تُخْمِ بَنِي عَمُّونَ

and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, to the border of the sons of Ammon;

١١ 11 وَجِلْعَادَ وَتُخُومَ ٱلْجَشُورِيِّينَ وَٱلْمَعْكِيِّينَ، وَكُلَّ جَبَلِ حَرْمُونَ، وَكُلَّ بَاشَانَ إِلَى سَلْخَةَ،

and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan to Salecah;

١٢ 12 كُلَّ مَمْلَكَةِ عُوجٍ فِي بَاشَانَ ٱلَّذِي مَلَكَ فِي عَشْتَارُوثَ وَفِي إِذْرَعِيَ. هُوَ بَقِيَ مِنْ بَقِيَّةِ ٱلرَّفَائِيِّينَ، وَضَرَبَهُمْ مُوسَى وَطَرَدَهُمْ.

all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei (the same was left of the remnant of the Rephaim), for these Moses smote, and drove them out.

١٣ 13 وَلَمْ يَطْرُدْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ ٱلْجَشُورِيِّينَ وَٱلْمَعْكِيِّينَ، فَسَكَنَ ٱلْجَشُورِيُّ وَٱلْمَعْكِيُّ فِي وَسَطِ إِسْرَائِيلَ إِلَى هَذَا ٱلْيَوْمِ.

Nevertheless the sons of Israel did not drive out the Geshurites, nor the Maacathites, but Geshur and Maacath dwell in the midst of Israel to this day.

١٤ 14 لَكِنْ لِسِبْطِ لَاوِي لَمْ يُعْطِ نَصِيبًا. وَقَائِدُ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِ إِسْرَائِيلَ هِيَ نَصِيبُهُ كَمَا كَلَّمَهُ.

Only to the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance. The offerings of Jehovah, the God of Israel, made by fire are his inheritance as he spoke to him.

١٥ 15 وَأَعْطَى مُوسَى سِبْطَ بَنِي رَأُوبَيْنَ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ:

And Moses gave to the tribe of the sons of Reuben according to their families.

١٦ 16 فَكَانَ تُخْمُهُمْ مِنْ عَرُوعِيرَ ٱلَّتِي عَلَى حَافَةِ وَادِي أَرْنُونَ وَٱلْمَدِينَةِ ٱلَّتِي فِي وَسَطِ ٱلْوَادِي، وَكُلَّ ٱلسَّهْلِ عِنْدَ مَيْدَبَا.

And their border was from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain by Medeba;

١٧ 17 حَشْبُونَ وَجَمِيعَ مُدُنِهَا ٱلَّتِي فِي ٱلسَّهْلِ، وَدِيبُونَ وَبَامُوتَ بَعْلٍ وَبَيْتَ بَعْلِ مَعُونَ،

Heshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon,

١٨ 18 وَيَهْصَةَ وَقَدِيمُوتَ وَمَيْفَعَةَ،

and Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,

١٩ 19 وَقَرْيَتَايِمَ وَسِبْمَةَ وَصَارَثَ ٱلشَّحْرِ فِي جَبَلِ ٱلْوَادِي،

and Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-shahar in the mount of the valley,

٢٠ 20 وَبَيْتَ فَغُورَ وَسُفُوحَ ٱلْفِسْجَةِ وَبَيْتَ يَشِيمُوتَ

and Beth-peor, and the slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth,

٢١ 21 وَكُلَّ مُدُنِ ٱلسَّهْلِ، وَكُلَّ مَمْلَكَةِ سِيحُونَ مَلِكِ ٱلْأَمُورِيِّينَ ٱلَّذِي مَلَكَ فِي حَشْبُونَ، ٱلَّذِي ضَرَبَهُ مُوسَى مَعَ رُؤَسَاءِ مِدْيَانَ: أَوِىَ وَرَاقَمَ وَصُورَ وَحُورَ وَرَابَعَ، أُمَرَاءِ سِيحُونَ سَاكِنِي ٱلْأَرْضِ.

and all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the chiefs of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the rulers of Sihon who dwelt in the land.

٢٢ 22 وَبَلْعَامُ بْنُ بَعُورَ ٱلْعَرَّافُ قَتَلَهُ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ بِٱلسَّيْفِ مَعَ قَتْلَاهُمْ.

The sons of Israel also killed Balaam the son of Beor, the diviner, with the sword among the rest of their slain.

٢٣ 23 وَكَانَ تُخْمُ بَنِي رَأُوبَيْنَ ٱلْأُرْدُنَّ وَتُخُومَهُ. هَذَا نَصِيبُ بَنِي رَأُوبَيْنَ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ، ٱلْمُدُنُ وَضِيَاعُهَا.

And the border of the sons of Reuben was the Jordan, and the border of it. This was the inheritance of the sons of Reuben according to their families, the cities and the villages of it.

٢٤ 24 وَأَعْطَى مُوسَى لِسِبْطِ جَادَ، بَنِي جَادَ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ:

And Moses gave to the tribe of Gad, to the sons of Gad, according to their families.

٢٥ 25 فَكَانَ تُخْمُهُمْ يَعَزِيرَ وَكُلَّ مُدُنِ جِلْعَادَ وَنِصْفَ أَرْضِ بَنِي عَمُّونَ إِلَى عَرُوعِيرَ ٱلَّتِي هِيَ أَمَامَ رَبَّةَ،

And their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the sons of Ammon, to Aroer that is before Rabbah,

٢٦ 26 وَمِنْ حَشْبُونَ إِلَى رَامَةِ ٱلْمِصْفَاةِ وَبُطُونِيمَ، وَمِنْ مَحَنَايِمَ إِلَى تُخْمِ دَبِيرَ.

and from Heshbon to Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim, and from Mahanaim to the border of Debir,

٢٧ 27 وَفِي ٱلْوَادِي بَيْتَ هَارَامَ، وَبَيْتَ نِمْرَةَ، وَسُكُّوتَ، وَصَافُونَ بَقِيَّةَ مَمْلَكَةِ سِيحُونَ مَلِكِ حَشْبُونَ، ٱلْأُرْدُنَّ وَتُخُومَهُ إِلَى طَرَفِ بَحْرِ كِنَّرُوتَ فِي عَبْرِ ٱلْأُرْدُنِّ نَحْوَ ٱلشُّرُوقِ.

and in the valley, Beth-haram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan and the border of it, to the outermost part of the sea of Chinnereth beyond the Jordan eastward.

٢٨ 28 هَذَا نَصِيبُ بَنِي جَادَ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمِ، ٱلْمُدُنُ وَضِيَاعُهَا.

This is the inheritance of the sons of Gad according to their families, the cities and the villages of it.

٢٩ 29 وَأَعْطَى مُوسَى لِنِصْفِ سِبْطِ مَنَسَّى، وَكَانَ لِنِصْفِ سِبْطِ بَنِي مَنَسَّى حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ:

And Moses gave to the half-tribe of Manasseh, and it was for the half-tribe of the sons of Manasseh according to their families.

٣٠ 30 وَكَانَ تُخْمُهُمْ مِنْ مَحَنَايِمَ، كُلَّ بَاشَانَ، كُلَّ مَمْلَكَةِ عُوجٍ مَلِكِ بَاشَانَ، وَكُلَّ حَوُّوثِ يَائِيرَ ٱلَّتِي فِي بَاشَانَ، سِتِّينَ مَدِينَةً.

And their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty cities.

٣١ 31 وَنِصْفُ جِلْعَادَ وَعَشْتَارُوثَ وَإِذْرَعِيَ مُدُنُ مَمْلَكَةِ عُوجٍ فِي بَاشَانَ لِبَنِي مَاكِيرَ بْنِ مَنَسَّى، لِنِصْفِ بَنِي مَاكِيرَ حَسَبَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ.

And half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the sons of Machir the son of Manasseh, even for the half of the sons of Machir according to their families.

٣٢ 32 فَهَذِهِ هِيَ ٱلَّتِي قَسَمَهَا مُوسَى فِي عَرَبَاتِ مُوآبَ فِي عَبْرِ أُرْدُنِّ أَرِيحَا نَحْوَ ٱلشُّرُوقِ.

These are the inheritances which Moses distributed in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan at Jericho, eastward.

٣٣ 33 وَأَمَّا سِبْطُ لَاوِي فَلَمْ يُعْطِهِ مُوسَى نَصِيبًا. ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُ إِسْرَائِيلَ هُوَ نَصِيبُهُمْ كَمَا كَلَّمَهُمْ.

But to the tribe of Levi Moses gave no inheritance. Jehovah, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as he spoke to them.
