يَشُوع 1

١ 1 وَكَانَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِ مُوسَى عَبْدِ ٱلرَّبِّ أَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ كَلَّمَ يَشُوعَ بْنَ نُونٍ خَادِمَ مُوسَى قَائِلًا:

And it was after [the] death of Moses [the] servant of Yahweh and he said Yahweh to Joshua [the] son of Nun [the] servant of Moses saying.

٢ 2 «مُوسَى عَبْدِي قَدْ مَاتَ. فَٱلْآنَ قُمْ ٱعْبُرْ هَذَا ٱلْأُرْدُنَّ أَنْتَ وَكُلُّ هَذَا ٱلشَّعْبِ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلَّتِي أَنَا مُعْطِيهَا لَهُمْ أَيْ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ.

Moses servant my he has died and therefore arise pass over the Jordan this you and all the people this into the land which I [am] about to give to them to [the] people of Israel.

٣ 3 كُلَّ مَوْضِعٍ تَدُوسُهُ بُطُونُ أَقْدَامِكُمْ لَكُمْ أَعْطَيْتُهُ، كَمَا كَلَّمْتُ مُوسَى.

Every place which it will tread [the] sole of foot your on it to you I have given it just as I spoke to Moses.

٤ 4 مِنَ ٱلْبَرِّيَّةِ وَلُبْنَانَ هَذَا إِلَى ٱلنَّهْرِ ٱلْكَبِيرِ نَهْرِ ٱلْفُرَاتِ، جَمِيعِ أَرْضِ ٱلْحِثِّيِّينَ، وَإِلَى ٱلْبَحْرِ ٱلْكَبِيرِ نَحْوَ مَغْرِبِ ٱلشَّمْسِ يَكُونُ تُخْمُكُمْ.

From the wilderness and Lebanon this and to the river great [the] river of Euphrates all [the] land of the Hittites and to the sea great [the] setting of the sun it will be territory your.

٥ 5 لَا يَقِفُ إِنْسَانٌ فِي وَجْهِكَ كُلَّ أَيَّامِ حَيَاتِكَ. كَمَا كُنْتُ مَعَ مُوسَى أَكُونُ مَعَكَ. لَا أُهْمِلُكَ وَلَا أَتْرُكُكَ.

Not he will stand anyone before you all [the] days of life your just as I was with Moses I will be with you not I will abandon you and not I will leave you.

٦ 6 تَشَدَّدْ وَتَشَجَّعْ، لِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ تَقْسِمُ لِهَذَا ٱلشَّعْبِ ٱلْأَرْضَ ٱلَّتِي حَلَفْتُ لِآبَائِهِمْ أَنْ أُعْطِيَهُمْ.

Be strong and be bold for you you will cause to inherit the people this the land which I swore to fathers their to give to them.

٧ 7 إِنَّمَا كُنْ مُتَشَدِّدًا، وَتَشَجَّعْ جِدًّا لِكَيْ تَتَحَفَّظَ لِلْعَمَلِ حَسَبَ كُلِّ ٱلشَّرِيعَةِ ٱلَّتِي أَمَرَكَ بِهَا مُوسَى عَبْدِي. لَا تَمِلْ عَنْهَا يَمِينًا وَلَا شِمَالًا لِكَيْ تُفْلِحَ حَيْثُمَا تَذْهَبُ.

Only be strong and be bold exceedingly to take care to do according to all the law which he commanded you Moses servant my may not you turn aside from it right and left so that you may prosper in every where you will go.

٨ 8 لَا يَبْرَحْ سِفْرُ هَذِهِ ٱلشَّرِيعَةِ مِنْ فَمِكَ، بَلْ تَلْهَجُ فِيهِ نَهَارًا وَلَيْلًا، لِكَيْ تَتَحَفَّظَ لِلْعَمَلِ حَسَبَ كُلِّ مَا هُوَ مَكْتُوبٌ فِيهِ. لِأَنَّكَ حِينَئِذٍ تُصْلِحُ طَرِيقَكَ وَحِينَئِذٍ تُفْلِحُ.

Not it will depart [the] book of the law this from mouth your and you will meditate on it by day and night so that you may take care to do according to every [thing] written in it for then you will make successful ways your and then you will be successful.

٩ 9 أَمَا أَمَرْتُكَ؟ تَشَدَّدْ وَتَشَجَّعْ! لَا تَرْهَبْ وَلَا تَرْتَعِبْ لِأَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ إِلَهَكَ مَعَكَ حَيْثُمَا تَذْهَبُ».

¿ Not have I commanded you be strong and be bold may not you be terrified and may not you be dismayed for [is] with you Yahweh God your in every where you will go.

١٠ 10 فَأَمَرَ يَشُوعُ عُرَفَاءَ ٱلشَّعْبِ قَائِلًا:

And he commanded Joshua [the] officers of the people saying.

١١ 11 «جُوزُوا فِي وَسَطِ ٱلْمَحَلَّةِ وَأْمُرُوا ٱلشَّعْبَ قَائِلِينَ: هَيِّئُوا لِأَنْفُسِكُمْ زَادًا، لِأَنَّكُمْ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ تَعْبُرُونَ ٱلْأُرْدُنَّ هَذَا لِكَيْ تَدْخُلُوا فَتَمْتَلِكُوا ٱلْأَرْضَ ٱلَّتِي يُعْطِيكُمُ ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ لِتَمْتَلِكُوهَا».

Pass - in [the] midst of the camp and command the people saying prepare for yourselves food for in yet - three days you [are] about to pass over the Jordan this to go to take possession of the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you to take possession of it.

١٢ 12 ثُمَّ كَلَّمَ يَشُوعُ ٱلرَّأُوبَيْنِيِّينَ وَٱلْجَادِيِّينَ وَنِصْفَ سِبْطِ مَنَسَّى قَائِلًا:

And to the Reubenite[s] and to the Gadite[s] and to [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh he said Joshua saying.

١٣ 13 «ٱذْكُرُوا ٱلْكَلَامَ ٱلَّذِي أَمَرَكُمْ بِهِ مُوسَى عَبْدُ ٱلرَّبِّ قَائِلًا: ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ قَدْ أَرَاحَكُمْ وَأَعْطَاكُمْ هَذِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ.

Remember the word which he commanded you Moses [the] servant of Yahweh saying Yahweh God your [is] giving rest to you and he will give to you the land this.

١٤ 14 نِسَاؤُكُمْ وَأَطْفَالُكُمْ وَمَوَاشِيكُمْ تَلْبَثُ فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلَّتِي أَعْطَاكُمْ مُوسَى فِي عَبْرِ ٱلْأُرْدُنِّ، وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْبُرُونَ مُتَجَهِّزِينَ أَمَامَ إِخْوَتِكُمْ، كُلُّ ٱلْأَبْطَالِ ذَوِي ٱلْبَأْسِ، وَتُعِينُونَهُمْ

Wives your little one[s] your and livestock your they will remain in the land which he gave to you Moses on [the] other side of the Jordan and you you will pass over arrayed for battle before brothers your all [the] mighty [men] of strength and you will help them.

١٥ 15 حَتَّى يُرِيحَ ٱلرَّبُّ إِخْوَتَكُمْ مِثْلَكُمْ، وَيَمْتَلِكُوا هُمْ أَيْضًا ٱلْأَرْضَ ٱلَّتِي يُعْطِيهِمُ ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ. ثُمَّ تَرْجِعُونَ إِلَى أَرْضِ مِيرَاثِكُمْ وَتَمْتَلِكُونَهَا، ٱلَّتِي أَعْطَاكُمْ مُوسَى عَبْدُ ٱلرَّبِّ فِي عَبْرِ ٱلْأُرْدُنِّ نَحْوَ شُرُوقِ ٱلشَّمْسِ».

Until that he will give rest Yahweh - to brothers your like you and they will take possession of also they the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to them and you will return to [the] land of possession your and you will take possession of it which - he gave to you Moses [the] servant of Yahweh on [the] other side of the Jordan [the] rising of the sun.

١٦ 16 فَأَجَابُوا يَشُوعَ قَائِلِينَ: «كُلَّ مَا أَمَرْتَنَا بِهِ نَعْمَلُهُ، وَحَيْثُمَا تُرْسِلْنَا نَذْهَبْ.

And they answered Joshua saying all that you have commanded us we will do and to every where you will send us we will go.

١٧ 17 حَسَبَ كُلِّ مَا سَمِعْنَا لِمُوسَى نَسْمَعُ لَكَ. إِنَّمَا ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ يَكُونُ مَعَكَ كَمَا كَانَ مَعَ مُوسَى.

According to all that we listened to Moses so we will listen to you only may he be Yahweh God your with you just as he was with Moses.

١٨ 18 كُلُّ إِنْسَانٍ يَعْصَى قَوْلَكَ وَلَا يَسْمَعُ كَلَامَكَ فِي كُلِّ مَا تَأْمُرُهُ بِهِ يُقْتَلُ. إِنَّمَا كُنْ مُتَشَدِّدًا وَتَشَجَّعْ».

Every person who he will rebel toward mouth your and not he will obey words your to all that you will command him he will be put to death only be strong and be bold.
