يوحنَّا 1
| فِي ٱلْبَدْءِ كَانَ ٱلْكَلِمَةُ، وَٱلْكَلِمَةُ كَانَ عِنْدَ ٱللهِ، وَكَانَ ٱلْكَلِمَةُ ٱللهَ. | ١ 1 |
Originally, was, the Word, and, the Word, was, with God; and, the Word, was, God.
| هَذَا كَانَ فِي ٱلْبَدْءِ عِنْدَ ٱللهِ. | ٢ 2 |
The same, was originally, with God.
| كُلُّ شَيْءٍ بِهِ كَانَ، وَبِغَيْرِهِ لَمْ يَكُنْ شَيْءٌ مِمَّا كَانَ. | ٣ 3 |
All things, through him, came into existence, and, without him, came into existence, not even one thing: that which hath come into existence,
| فِيهِ كَانَتِ ٱلْحَيَاةُ، وَٱلْحَيَاةُ كَانَتْ نُورَ ٱلنَّاسِ، | ٤ 4 |
in him, was, life, and, the life, was, the light of men.—
| وَٱلنُّورُ يُضِيءُ فِي ٱلظُّلْمَةِ، وَٱلظُّلْمَةُ لَمْ تُدْرِكْهُ. | ٥ 5 |
And, the light, in the darkness, shineth; and, the darkness, thereof, laid not hold.
| كَانَ إِنْسَانٌ مُرْسَلٌ مِنَ ٱللهِ ٱسْمُهُ يُوحَنَّا. | ٦ 6 |
There arose a man, sent from God, whose name was, John:
| هَذَا جَاءَ لِلشَّهَادَةِ لِيَشْهَدَ لِلنُّورِ، لِكَيْ يُؤْمِنَ ٱلْكُلُّ بِوَاسِطَتِهِ. | ٧ 7 |
The same, came, for a witness, That he might bear witness, concerning the light, that, all, might believe, through him.
| لَمْ يَكُنْ هُوَ ٱلنُّورَ، بَلْ لِيَشْهَدَ لِلنُّورِ. | ٨ 8 |
He, was not the light, —but, that he might bear witness concerning the light,
| كَانَ ٱلنُّورُ ٱلْحَقِيقِيُّ ٱلَّذِي يُنِيرُ كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ آتِيًا إِلَى ٱلْعَالَمِ. | ٩ 9 |
It, was—The real light that enlighteneth every man—Coming into the world.
| كَانَ فِي ٱلْعَالَمِ، وَكُوِّنَ ٱلْعَالَمُ بِهِ، وَلَمْ يَعْرِفْهُ ٱلْعَالَمُ. | ١٠ 10 |
In the world, he was, and, the world, through him, came into existence, and, the world, knew him not.
| إِلَى خَاصَّتِهِ جَاءَ، وَخَاصَّتُهُ لَمْ تَقْبَلْهُ. | ١١ 11 |
Into his own possessions, he came, and, his own people, received him not home.
| وَأَمَّا كُلُّ ٱلَّذِينَ قَبِلُوهُ فَأَعْطَاهُمْ سُلْطَانًا أَنْ يَصِيرُوا أَوْلَادَ ٱللهِ، أَيِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱسْمِهِ. | ١٢ 12 |
But, as many as did receive him, he gave, unto them, authority, children of God, to become, —unto them who were believing on his name:
| اَلَّذِينَ وُلِدُوا لَيْسَ مِنْ دَمٍ، وَلَا مِنْ مَشِيئَةِ جَسَدٍ، وَلَا مِنْ مَشِيئَةِ رَجُلٍ، بَلْ مِنَ ٱللهِ. | ١٣ 13 |
Who—not of bloods, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but—of God, were born.
| وَٱلْكَلِمَةُ صَارَ جَسَدًا وَحَلَّ بَيْنَنَا، وَرَأَيْنَا مَجْدَهُ، مَجْدًا كَمَا لِوَحِيدٍ مِنَ ٱلْآبِ، مَمْلُوءًا نِعْمَةً وَحَقًّا. | ١٤ 14 |
And, the Word, became, flesh, and pitched his tent among us, and we gazed upon his glory, —a glory, as an Only-begotten from his Father. Full of favour and truth.
| يُوحَنَّا شَهِدَ لَهُ وَنَادَى قَائِلًا: «هَذَا هُوَ ٱلَّذِي قُلْتُ عَنْهُ: إِنَّ ٱلَّذِي يَأْتِي بَعْدِي صَارَ قُدَّامِي، لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ قَبْلِي». | ١٥ 15 |
(John beareth witness concerning him, and hath cried aloud, saying—the same, was he that said—He who, after me, was coming, before me, hath advanced; because, my Chief, was he.)
| وَمِنْ مِلْئِهِ نَحْنُ جَمِيعًا أَخَذْنَا، وَنِعْمَةً فَوْقَ نِعْمَةٍ. | ١٦ 16 |
Because, out of his fulness, we all, received, even favour over against favour.
| لِأَنَّ ٱلنَّامُوسَ بِمُوسَى أُعْطِيَ، أَمَّا ٱلنِّعْمَةُ وَٱلْحَقُّ فَبِيَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ صَارَا. | ١٧ 17 |
Because, the law, through Moses, was given, favour and truth, through Jesus Christ, came into existence.
| ٱللهُ لَمْ يَرَهُ أَحَدٌ قَطُّ. اَلِٱبْنُ ٱلْوَحِيدُ ٱلَّذِي هُوَ فِي حِضْنِ ٱلْآبِ هُوَ خَبَّرَ. | ١٨ 18 |
No one, hath seen, God, at any time: An Only Begotten God, The One existing within the bosom of the Father, He, hath interpreted [him].
| وَهَذِهِ هِيَ شَهَادَةُ يُوحَنَّا، حِينَ أَرْسَلَ ٱلْيَهُودُ مِنْ أُورُشَلِيمَ كَهَنَةً وَلَاوِيِّينَ لِيَسْأَلُوهُ: «مَنْ أَنْتَ؟». | ١٩ 19 |
And, this, is the witness of John, when the Jews sent forth unto him, out of Jerusalem, priests and Levites, —that they might question him—Who art, thou?
| فَٱعْتَرَفَ وَلَمْ يُنْكِرْ، وَأَقَرَّ: «إِنِّي لَسْتُ أَنَا ٱلْمَسِيحَ». | ٢٠ 20 |
and he confessed, and did not deny, —and he confessed—I, am not, the Christ;
| فَسَأَلُوهُ: «إِذًا مَاذَا؟ إِيلِيَّا أَنْتَ؟». فَقَالَ: «لَسْتُ أَنَا». «أَلنَّبِيُّ أَنْتَ؟». فَأَجَابَ: «لَا». | ٢١ 21 |
and they questioned him—What then? Art, thou, Elijah? and he saith—I am not; The prophet, art, thou? and he answered—No!
| فَقَالُوا لَهُ: «مَنْ أَنْتَ، لِنُعْطِيَ جَوَابًا لِلَّذِينَ أَرْسَلُونَا؟ مَاذَا تَقُولُ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ؟». | ٢٢ 22 |
So they said unto him—Who, art thou? that, an answer, we may give, unto them who sent us, —What sayest thou, concerning thyself?
| قَالَ: «أَنَا صَوْتُ صَارِخٍ فِي ٱلْبَرِّيَّةِ: قَوِّمُوا طَرِيقَ ٱلرَّبِّ، كَمَا قَالَ إِشَعْيَاءُ ٱلنَّبِيُّ». | ٢٣ 23 |
He said—I, am a Voice, of one crying aloud; —In the desert, make ye straight, the way of the Lord: according as said Isaiah the prophet.
| وَكَانَ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ مِنَ ٱلْفَرِّيسِيِّينَ، | ٢٤ 24 |
And they had been sent forth from among the Pharisees;
| فَسَأَلُوهُ وَقَالُوا لَهُ: «فَمَا بَالُكَ تُعَمِّدُ إِنْ كُنْتَ لَسْتَ ٱلْمَسِيحَ، وَلَا إِيلِيَّا، وَلَا ٱلنَّبِيَّ؟». | ٢٥ 25 |
and they questioned him, and said unto him—Why, then, dost thou immerse, —if, thou, art not, the Christ, nor Elijah, nor, the Prophet?
| أَجَابَهُمْ يُوحَنَّا قَائِلًا: «أَنَا أُعَمِّدُ بِمَاءٍ، وَلَكِنْ فِي وَسْطِكُمْ قَائِمٌ ٱلَّذِي لَسْتُمْ تَعْرِفُونَهُ. | ٢٦ 26 |
John answered them, saying—I, immerse, in water. In the midst of you, standeth one, whom, ye, know not; —
| هُوَ ٱلَّذِي يَأْتِي بَعْدِي، ٱلَّذِي صَارَ قُدَّامِي، ٱلَّذِي لَسْتُ بِمُسْتَحِقٍّ أَنْ أَحُلَّ سُيُورَ حِذَائِهِ». | ٢٧ 27 |
after me, coming: —Of whom, I, am not worthy that I should unloose the thong of the sandal.
| هَذَا كَانَ فِي بَيْتِ عَبْرَةَ فِي عَبْرِ ٱلْأُرْدُنِّ حَيْثُ كَانَ يُوحَنَّا يُعَمِّدُ. | ٢٨ 28 |
These things, in Bethany, came to pass, beyond the Jordan, where John was, immersing.
| وَفِي ٱلْغَدِ نَظَرَ يُوحَنَّا يَسُوعَ مُقْبِلًا إِلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: «هُوَذَا حَمَلُ ٱللهِ ٱلَّذِي يَرْفَعُ خَطِيَّةَ ٱلْعَالَمِ! | ٢٩ 29 |
On the morrow, he beholdeth Jesus, coming unto him, and saith—See! the Lamb of God, who taketh away the sin of the world.
| هَذَا هُوَ ٱلَّذِي قُلْتُ عَنْهُ: يَأْتِي بَعْدِي، رَجُلٌ صَارَ قُدَّامِي، لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ قَبْلِي. | ٣٠ 30 |
This, is he, of whom, I, said—After me, cometh a man, who, before me, hath advanced, because, my Chief, was he.
| وَأَنَا لَمْ أَكُنْ أَعْرِفُهُ. لَكِنْ لِيُظْهَرَ لِإِسْرَائِيلَ لِذَلِكَ جِئْتُ أُعَمِّدُ بِٱلْمَاءِ». | ٣١ 31 |
And, I, knew him not, but, that he might be manifested unto Israel, therefore, came, I, in water, immersing.
| وَشَهِدَ يُوحَنَّا قَائِلًا: «إِنِّي قَدْ رَأَيْتُ ٱلرُّوحَ نَازِلًا مِثْلَ حَمَامَةٍ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاءِ فَٱسْتَقَرَّ عَلَيْهِ. | ٣٢ 32 |
And John bare witness, saying—I have gazed upon the Spirit, descending like a dove, out of heaven, —and it abode upon him.
| وَأَنَا لَمْ أَكُنْ أَعْرِفُهُ، لَكِنَّ ٱلَّذِي أَرْسَلَنِي لِأُعَمِّدَ بِٱلْمَاءِ، ذَاكَ قَالَ لِي: ٱلَّذِي تَرَى ٱلرُّوحَ نَازِلًا وَمُسْتَقِرًّا عَلَيْهِ، فَهَذَا هُوَ ٱلَّذِي يُعَمِّدُ بِٱلرُّوحِ ٱلْقُدُسِ. | ٣٣ 33 |
And, I, knew him not, —but, he that sent me to immerse in water, he, unto me, said—Upon whomsoever thou shalt see the Spirit descending and abiding upon him, the same, is he that immerseth in Holy Spirit.
| وَأَنَا قَدْ رَأَيْتُ وَشَهِدْتُ أَنَّ هَذَا هُوَ ٱبْنُ ٱللهِ». | ٣٤ 34 |
I, therefore, have seen, and borne witness—That, this, is, the, Son of God.
| وَفِي ٱلْغَدِ أَيْضًا كَانَ يُوحَنَّا وَاقِفًا هُوَ وَٱثْنَانِ مِنْ تَلَامِيذِهِ، | ٣٥ 35 |
On the morrow, again, was John standing, and, from among his disciples, two;
| فَنَظَرَ إِلَى يَسُوعَ مَاشِيًا، فَقَالَ: «هُوَذَا حَمَلُ ٱللهِ!». | ٣٦ 36 |
and, looking at Jesus walking, he saith—See! the Lamb of God!
| فَسَمِعَهُ ٱلتِّلْمِيذَانِ يَتَكَلَّمُ، فَتَبِعَا يَسُوعَ. | ٣٧ 37 |
and the two disciples hearkened unto him speaking, and they followed Jesus.
| فَٱلْتَفَتَ يَسُوعُ وَنَظَرَهُمَا يَتْبَعَانِ، فَقَالَ لَهُمَا: «مَاذَا تَطْلُبَانِ؟». فَقَالَا: «رَبِّي» ٱلَّذِي تَفْسِيرُهُ: يَا مُعَلِّمُ. «أَيْنَ تَمْكُثُ؟». | ٣٨ 38 |
But Jesus, turning, and looking at them following, saith unto them—What seek ye? And, they, said unto him—Rabbi! which meaneth, when translated, Teacher, Where abidest thou?
| فَقَالَ لَهُمَا: «تَعَالَيَا وَٱنْظُرَا». فَأَتَيَا وَنَظَرَا أَيْنَ كَانَ يَمْكُثُ، وَمَكَثَا عِنْدَهُ ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ. وَكَانَ نَحْوَ ٱلسَّاعَةِ ٱلْعَاشِرَةِ. | ٣٩ 39 |
He saith unto them—Be coming, and ye shall see. They came, therefore, and saw where he abode, and, with him, they abode that day. It was about the tenth, hour.
| كَانَ أَنْدَرَاوُسُ أَخُو سِمْعَانَ بُطْرُسَ وَاحِدًا مِنَ ٱلِٱثْنَيْنِ ٱللَّذَيْنِ سَمِعَا يُوحَنَّا وَتَبِعَاهُ. | ٤٠ 40 |
One of the two that heard from John and followed him, was Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter.
| هَذَا وَجَدَ أَوَّلًا أَخَاهُ سِمْعَانَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: «قَدْ وَجَدْنَا مَسِيَّا» ٱلَّذِي تَفْسِيرُهُ: ٱلْمَسِيحُ. | ٤١ 41 |
The same findeth, first, his own brother Simon, and saith unto him—We have found the Messiah! which is, when translated, Anointed.
| فَجَاءَ بِهِ إِلَى يَسُوعَ. فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ يَسُوعُ وَقَالَ: «أَنْتَ سِمْعَانُ بْنُ يُونَا. أَنْتَ تُدْعَى صَفَا» ٱلَّذِي تَفْسِيرُهُ: بُطْرُسُ. | ٤٢ 42 |
He led him unto Jesus. Jesus, looking at him, said—Thou, art Simon, the son of John, —thou, shalt be called, Cephas; which is to be translated, Peter.
| فِي ٱلْغَدِ أَرَادَ يَسُوعُ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ إِلَى ٱلْجَلِيلِ، فَوَجَدَ فِيلُبُّسَ فَقَالَ لَهُ: «ٱتْبَعْنِي». | ٤٣ 43 |
On the morrow, he desired to go forth into Galilee. And Jesus findeth Philip, and saith unto him—Be following me!
| وَكَانَ فِيلُبُّسُ مِنْ بَيْتِ صَيْدَا، مِنْ مَدِينَةِ أَنْدَرَاوُسَ وَبُطْرُسَ. | ٤٤ 44 |
Now Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter.
| فِيلُبُّسُ وَجَدَ نَثَنَائِيلَ وَقَالَ لَهُ: «وَجَدْنَا ٱلَّذِي كَتَبَ عَنْهُ مُوسَى فِي ٱلنَّامُوسِ وَٱلْأَنْبِيَاءُ يَسُوعَ ٱبْنَ يُوسُفَ ٱلَّذِي مِنَ ٱلنَّاصِرَةِ». | ٤٥ 45 |
Philip, findeth, Nathanael, and saith unto him—Him, of whom wrote Moses in the law, and the Prophets, have we found.—Jesus, son of Joseph, him from Nazareth!
| فَقَالَ لَهُ نَثَنَائِيلُ: «أَمِنَ ٱلنَّاصِرَةِ يُمْكِنُ أَنْ يَكُونَ شَيْءٌ صَالِحٌ؟». قَالَ لَهُ فِيلُبُّسُ: «تَعَالَ وَٱنْظُرْ». | ٤٦ 46 |
And Nathanael said unto him—Out of Nazareth, can any good thing come? Philip saith unto him—Come, and see!
| وَرَأَى يَسُوعُ نَثَنَائِيلَ مُقْبِلًا إِلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ عَنْهُ: «هُوَذَا إِسْرَائِيلِيٌّ حَقًّا لَا غِشَّ فِيهِ». | ٤٧ 47 |
Jesus saw Nathanael coming unto him, and saith concerning him—See! Truly, an Israelite, in whom is no guile.
| قَالَ لَهُ نَثَنَائِيلُ: «مِنْ أَيْنَ تَعْرِفُنِي؟». أَجَابَ يَسُوعُ وَقَالَ لَهُ: «قَبْلَ أَنْ دَعَاكَ فِيلُبُّسُ وَأَنْتَ تَحْتَ ٱلتِّينَةِ، رَأَيْتُكَ». | ٤٨ 48 |
Nathanael saith unto him—Whence, dost thou, know, me? Jesus answered, and said unto him—Before Philip called thee, —when thou wast under the fig-tree, I saw thee.
| أَجَابَ نَثَنَائِيلُ وَقَالَ لَهُ: «يَا مُعَلِّمُ، أَنْتَ ٱبْنُ ٱللهِ! أَنْتَ مَلِكُ إِسْرَائِيلَ!». | ٤٩ 49 |
Nathanael answered him—Rabbi! thou, art, the Son of God: Thou, art, King, of Israel.
| أَجَابَ يَسُوعُ وَقَالَ لَهُ: «هَلْ آمَنْتَ لِأَنِّي قُلْتُ لَكَ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُكَ تَحْتَ ٱلتِّينَةِ؟ سَوْفَ تَرَى أَعْظَمَ مِنْ هَذَا!». | ٥٠ 50 |
Jesus answered, and said unto him—Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig-tree, believest thou? A greater thing than these, shalt thou see!
| وَقَالَ لَهُ: «ٱلْحَقَّ ٱلْحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ: مِنَ ٱلْآنَ تَرَوْنَ ٱلسَّمَاءَ مَفْتُوحَةً، وَمَلَائِكَةَ ٱللهِ يَصْعَدُونَ وَيَنْزِلُونَ عَلَى ٱبْنِ ٱلْإِنْسَانِ». | ٥١ 51 |
And he saith unto him—Verily, verily, I say unto you: Ye shall see heaven—when set open, and, the messengers of God, ascending and descending unto the Son of Man.
