أَيُّوبَ 32

١ 1 فَكَفَّ هَؤُلَاءِ ٱلرِّجَالُ ٱلثَّلَاثَةُ عَنْ مُجَاوَبَةِ أَيُّوبَ لِكَوْنِهِ بَارًّا فِي عَيْنَيْ نَفْسِهِ.

So these three men ceased to respond to Job, because, he, was righteous in their eyes.

٢ 2 فَحَمِيَ غَضَبُ أَلِيهُوَ بْنِ بَرَخْئِيلَ ٱلْبُوزِيِّ مِنْ عَشِيرَةِ رَامٍ. عَلَى أَيُّوبَ حَمِيَ غَضَبُهُ لأِنَّهُ حَسِبَ نَفْسَهُ أَبَرَّ مِنَ ٱللهِ.

Then was kindled the anger of Elihu, son of Barachel the Buzite of the family of Ram, —against Job, was kindled his anger, because he justified his own soul rather than God;

٣ 3 وَعَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ ٱلثَّلَاثَةِ حَمِيَ غَضَبُهُ، لِأَنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَجِدُوا جَوَابًا وَٱسْتَذْنَبُوا أَيُّوبَ.

and, against his three friends, was kindled his anger, —because that they found not a response, and condemned God.

٤ 4 وَكَانَ أَلِيهُو قَدْ صَبَرَ عَلَى أَيُّوبَ بِٱلْكَلَامِ، لِأَنَّهُمْ أَكْثَرُ مِنْهُ أَيَّامًا.

But, Elihu, had waited for Job with words, because the others were older than he.

٥ 5 فَلَمَّا رَأَى أَلِيهُو أَنَّهُ لَا جَوَابَ فِي أَفْوَاهِ ٱلرِّجَالِ ٱلثَّلَاثَةِ حَمِيَ غَضَبُهُ.

Howbeit, when Elihu saw that there was no response in the mouth of the three men, then was kindled his anger.

٦ 6 فَأَجَابَ أَلِيهُو بْنُ بَرَخْئِيلَ ٱلْبُوزِيُّ وَقَالَ: «أَنَا صَغِيرٌ فِي ٱلْأَيَّامِ وَأَنْتُمْ شُيُوخٌ، لِأَجْلِ ذَلِكَ خِفْتُ وَخَشِيتُ أَنْ أُبْدِيَ لَكُمْ رَأْيِيِ.

So then Elihu, son of Barachel, the Buzite, responded and said: —Young, am I, whereas, ye, are aged, For this cause, I faltered, and feared—to shew my knowledge unto you:

٧ 7 قُلْتُ: ٱلْأَيَّامُ تَتَكَلَّمُ وَكَثْرَةُ ٱلسِّنِينِ تُظْهِرُ حِكْمَةً.

I said, Days, should speak, —and, the multitude of years, should make known wisdom.

٨ 8 وَلَكِنَّ فِي ٱلنَّاسِ رُوحًا، وَنَسَمَةُ ٱلْقَدِيرِ تُعَقِّلُهُمْ.

Yet surely, there is a spirit in men, and, the inspiration of the Almighty, giveth them understanding;

٩ 9 لَيْسَ ٱلْكَثِيرُو ٱلْأَيَّامِ حُكَمَاءَ، وَلَا ٱلشُّيُوخُ يَفْهَمُونَ ٱلْحَقَّ.

Great men, may not be wise, nor, elders, understand justice.

١٠ 10 لِذَلِكَ قُلْتُ: ٱسْمَعُونِي. أَنَا أَيْضًا أُبْدِي رَأْيِيِ.

Therefore, I said, Hearken unto me, I will show my knowledge—even I.

١١ 11 هَأَنَذَا قَدْ صَبَرْتُ لِكَلَامِكُمْ. أَصْغَيْتُ إِلَى حُجَجِكُمْ حَتَّى فَحَصْتُمُ ٱلْأَقْوَالَ.

Lo! I waited for your words, I kept giving ear for your reasons, until ye should search out what to say;

١٢ 12 فَتَأَمَّلْتُ فِيكُمْ وَإِذْ لَيْسَ مَنْ حَجَّ أَيُّوبَ، وَلَا جَوَابَ مِنْكُمْ لِكَلَامِهِ.

Yea, unto you, gave I diligent heed, —But lo! there was, for Job, nothing to convince, nor could you of you answer his speeches.

١٣ 13 فَلَا تَقُولُوا: قَدْ وَجَدْنَا حِكْمَةً. ٱللهُ يَغْلِبُهُ لَا ٱلْإِنْسَانُ.

Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom. GOD, must put him to flight, not man.

١٤ 14 فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يُوَجِّهْ إِلَيَّ كَلَامَهُ وَلَا أَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ أَنَا بِكَلَامِكُمْ.

Since he directed not to me discourse, therefore, with your speeches, will I not reply to him.

١٥ 15 تَحَيَّرُوا. لَمْ يُجِيبُوا بَعْدُ. ٱنْتَزَعَ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْكَلَامُ.

They were dismayed, they responded no more, they suffered speech to forsake them;

١٦ 16 فَٱنْتَظَرْتُ لِأَنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَتَكَلَّمُوا. لِأَنَّهُمْ وَقَفُوا، لَمْ يُجِيبُوا بَعْدُ.

Though I waited, yet could they not speak, Surely they came to a stand, they responded no more.

١٧ 17 فَأُجِيبُ أَنَا أَيْضًا حِصَّتِي، وَأُبْدِي أَنَا أَيْضًا رَأْيِيِ.

I will respond, even I—on my part, I will shew my knowledge, even I!

١٨ 18 لِأَنِّي مَلآنٌ أَقْوَالًا. رُوحُ بَاطِنِي تُضَايِقُنِي.

For I am full of discourse, The spirit in my bosom, presseth me on.

١٩ 19 هُوَذَا بَطْنِي كَخَمْرٍ لَمْ تُفْتَحْ. كَٱلزِّقَاقِ ٱلْجَدِيدَةِ يَكَادُ يَنْشَقُّ.

Lo! my bosom, is like wine not opened, Like new wine-skins, it will burst.

٢٠ 20 أَتَكَلَّمُ فَأُفْرَجُ. أَفْتَحُ شَفَتَيَّ وَأُجِيبُ.

I will speak, that I may freely breathe, I will open my lips and respond.

٢١ 21 لَا أُحَابِيَنَّ وَجْهَ رَجُلٍ وَلَا أَمْلُثُ إِنْسَانًا.

Let me be partial to no man, and, unto no son of earth, give flattering titles,

٢٢ 22 لِأَنِّي لَا أَعْرِفُ ٱلْمَلْثَ. لِأَنَّهُ عَنْ قَلِيلٍ يَأْخُذُنِي صَانِعِي.

Surely I know not how to give flattering titles, How soon might my Maker take me away!
