< أَيُّوبَ 25 >

فَأَجَابَ بِلْدَدُ ٱلشُّوحِيُّ وَقَالَ: ١ 1
Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,
«ٱلسُّلْطَانُ وَٱلْهَيْبَةُ عِنْدَهُ. هُوَ صَانِعُ ٱلسَّلَامِ فِي أَعَالِيهِ. ٢ 2
"Dominion and fear are with him. He makes peace in his high places.
هَلْ مِنْ عَدَدٍ لِجُنُودِهِ؟ وَعَلَى مَنْ لَا يُشْرِقُ نُورُهُ؟ ٣ 3
Can his armies be counted? On whom does his light not arise?
فَكَيْفَ يَتَبَرَّرُ ٱلْإِنْسَانُ عِنْدَ ٱللهِ؟ وَكَيْفَ يَزْكُو مَوْلُودُ ٱلْمَرْأَةِ؟ ٤ 4
How then can man be just with God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be clean?
هُوَذَا نَفْسُ ٱلْقَمَرِ لَا يُضِيءُ، وَٱلْكَوَاكِبُ غَيْرُ نَقِيَّةٍ فِي عَيْنَيْهِ. ٥ 5
Look, even the moon has no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight;
فَكَمْ بِٱلْحَرِيِّ ٱلْإِنْسَانُ ٱلرِّمَّةُ، وَٱبْنُ آدَمَ ٱلدُّودُ؟». ٦ 6
How much less man, who is a worm, the son of man, who is a worm."
