إِرْمِيَا 52

١ 1 كَانَ صِدْقِيَّا ٱبْنَ إِحْدَى وَعِشْرِينَ سَنَةً حِينَ مَلَكَ، وَمَلَكَ إِحْدَى عَشَرَةَ سَنَةً فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ، وَٱسْمُ أُمِّهِ حَمِيطَلُ بِنْتُ إِرْمِيَا مِنْ لِبْنَةَ.

[was] a son of Twenty and one year[s] Zedekiah when became king he and one plus ten year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his ([was] Hamutal *QK) [the] daughter of Jeremiah from Libnah.

٢ 2 وَعَمِلَ ٱلشَّرَّ فِي عَيْنَيِ ٱلرَّبِّ حَسَبَ كُلِّ مَا عَمِلَ يَهُويَاقِيمُ.

And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Jehoiakim.

٣ 3 لِأَنَّهُ لِأَجْلِ غَضَبِ ٱلرَّبِّ عَلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ وَيَهُوذَا حَتَّى طَرَحَهُمْ مِنْ أَمَامِ وَجْهِهِ، كَانَ أَنَّ صِدْقِيَّا تَمَرَّدَ عَلَى مَلِكِ بَابِلَ.

For - on [the] anger of Yahweh it happened in Jerusalem and Judah until cast out he them from on face his and he rebelled Zedekiah against [the] king of Babylon.

٤ 4 وَفِي ٱلسَّنَةِ ٱلتَّاسِعَةِ لِمُلْكِهِ، فِي ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلْعَاشِرِ، فِي عَاشِرِ ٱلشَّهْرِ، جَاءَ نَبُوخَذْرَاصَّرُ مَلِكُ بَابِلَ هُوَ وَكُلُّ جَيْشِهِ عَلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ وَنَزَلُوا عَلَيْهَا وَبَنَوْا عَلَيْهَا أَبْرَاجًا حَوَالَيْهَا.

And it was in the year ninth of reigning his in the month tenth on the ten of the month he came Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon he and all army his on Jerusalem and they encamped on it and they built on it a siege-wall all around.

٥ 5 فَدَخَلَتِ ٱلْمَدِينَةُ فِي ٱلْحِصَارِ إِلَى ٱلسَّنَةِ ٱلْحَادِيَةِ عَشَرَةَ لِلْمَلِكِ صِدْقِيَّا.

And it came the city in state of siege until one plus ten year of the king Zedekiah.

٦ 6 فِي ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلرَّابِعِ، فِي تَاسِعِ ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱشْتَدَّ ٱلْجُوعُ فِي ٱلْمَدِينَةِ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ خُبْزٌ لِشَعْبِ ٱلْأَرْضِ.

In the month fourth on [day] nine of the month and it was severe the famine in the city and not it belonged food to [the] people of the land.

٧ 7 فَثُغِرَتِ ٱلْمَدِينَةُ وَهَرَبَ كُلُّ رِجَالِ ٱلْقِتَالِ، وَخَرَجُوا مِنَ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ لَيْلًا فِي طَرِيقِ ٱلْبَابِ بَيْنَ ٱلسُّورَيْنِ ٱللَّذَيْنِ عِنْدَ جَنَّةِ ٱلْمَلِكِ، وَٱلْكَلْدَانِيُّونَ عِنْدَ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ حَوَالَيْهَا، فَذَهَبُوا فِي طَرِيقِ ٱلْبَرِّيَّةِ.

And it was broken into the city and all [the] men of war they fled and they went out from the city night [the] way of [the] gate between the two walls which [was] at [the] garden of the king and [the] Chaldeans [were] on the city all around and they went [the] way of the Arabah.

٨ 8 فَتَبِعَتْ جُيُوشُ ٱلْكَلْدَانِيِّينَ ٱلْمَلِكَ، فَأَدْرَكُوا صِدْقِيَّا فِي بَرِّيَّةِ أَرِيحَا، وَتَفَرَّقَ كُلُّ جَيْشِهِ عَنْهُ.

And they pursued [the] army of [the] Chaldeans after the king and they overtook Zedekiah in [the] plains of Jericho and all army his they were scattered from with him.

٩ 9 فَأَخَذُوا ٱلْمَلِكَ وَأَصْعَدُوهُ إِلَى مَلِكِ بَابِلَ إِلَى رَبْلَةَ فِي أَرْضِ حَمَاةَ، فَكَلَّمَهُ بِٱلْقَضَاءِ عَلَيْهِ.

And they seized the king and they brought up him to [the] king of Babylon Riblah towards in [the] land of Hamath and he spoke with him judgments.

١٠ 10 فَقَتَلَ مَلِكُ بَابِلَ بَنِي صِدْقِيَّا أَمَامَ عَيْنَيْهِ، وَقَتَلَ أَيْضًا كُلَّ رُؤَسَاءِ يَهُوذَا فِي رَبْلَةَ،

And he slaughtered [the] king of Babylon [the] sons of Zedekiah to eyes his and also all [the] officials of Judah he slaughtered at Riblah.

١١ 11 وَأَعْمَى عَيْنَيْ صِدْقِيَّا، وَقَيَّدَهُ بِسِلْسِلَتَيْنِ مِنْ نُحَاسٍ، وَجَاءَ بِهِ مَلِكُ بَابِلَ إِلَى بَابِلَ، وَجَعَلَهُ فِي ٱلسِّجْنِ إِلَى يَوْمِ وَفَاتِهِ.

And [the] eyes of Zedekiah he made blind and he bound him with bronze fetters and he brought him [the] king of Babylon Babylon towards and he put him ([the] house of *QK) punishment until [the] day of death his.

١٢ 12 وَفِي ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلْخَامِسِ، فِي عَاشِرِ ٱلشَّهْرِ، وَهِيَ ٱلسَّنَةُ ٱلتَّاسِعَةُ عَشَرَةَ لِلْمَلِكِ نَبُوخَذْرَاصَّرَ مَلِكِ بَابِلَ، جَاءَ نَبُوزَرَادَانُ رَئِيسُ ٱلشُّرَطِ، ٱلَّذِي كَانَ يَقِفُ أَمَامَ مَلِكِ بَابِلَ إِلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ،

And in the month fifth on the ten of the month it [was] year nine-teen year of the king Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon he came Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards he stood before [the] king of Babylon in Jerusalem.

١٣ 13 وَأَحْرَقَ بَيْتَ ٱلرَّبِّ، وَبَيْتَ ٱلْمَلِكِ، وَكُلَّ بُيُوتِ أُورُشَلِيمَ، وَكُلَّ بُيُوتِ ٱلْعُظَمَاءِ، أَحْرَقَهَا بِٱلنَّارِ.

And he burned [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of the king and all [the] houses of Jerusalem and every house of great [person] he burned with fire.

١٤ 14 وَكُلَّ أَسْوَارِ أُورُشَلِيمَ مُسْتَدِيرًا هَدَمَهَا كُلُّ جَيْشِ ٱلْكَلْدَانِيِّينَ ٱلَّذِي مَعَ رَئِيسِ ٱلشُّرَطِ.

And all [the] walls of Jerusalem all around they broke down all [the] army of [the] Chaldeans which [was] with [the] chief of [the] bodyguards.

١٥ 15 وَسَبَى نَبُوزَرَادَانُ، رَئِيسُ ٱلشُّرَطِ، بَعْضًا مِنْ فُقَرَاءِ ٱلشَّعْبِ، وَبَقِيَّةَ ٱلشَّعْبِ ٱلَّذِينَ بَقُوا فِي ٱلْمَدِينَةِ، وَٱلْهَارِبِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ سَقَطُوا إِلَى مَلِكِ بَابِلَ، وَبَقِيَّةَ ٱلْجُمْهُورِ.

And some of [the] poor people of the people and [the] rest of the people - who remained in the city and those [who] had fallen who they had fallen to [the] king of Babylon and [the] rest of the craftsman he took into exile Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards.

١٦ 16 وَلَكِنَّ نَبُوزَرَادَانَ، رَئِيسَ ٱلشُّرَطِ، أَبْقَى مِنْ مَسَاكِينِ ٱلْأَرْضِ كَرَّامِينَ وَفَلَّاحِينَ.

And some of [the] poor people of the land he left behind Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards to vinedressers and to ploughmen.

١٧ 17 وَكَسَّرَ ٱلْكَلْدَانِيُّونَ أَعْمِدَةَ ٱلنُّحَاسِ ٱلَّتِي لِبَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ، وَٱلْقَوَاعِدَ وَبَحْرَ ٱلنُّحَاسِ ٱلَّذِي فِي بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ، وَحَمَلُوا كُلَّ نُحَاسِهَا إِلَى بَابِلَ.

And [the] pillars of bronze which [belonged] to [the] house of Yahweh and the stands and [the] sea of bronze which [were] in [the] house of Yahweh they broke [the] Chaldeans and they carried off all bronze their Babylon towards.

١٨ 18 وَأَخَذُوا ٱلْقُدُورَ وَٱلرُّفُوشَ وَٱلْمَقَاصَّ وَٱلْمَنَاضِحَ وَٱلصُّحُونَ وَكُلَّ آنِيَةِ ٱلنُّحَاسِ ٱلَّتِي كَانُوا يَخْدِمُونَ بِهَا.

And the pots and the shovels and the snuffers and the bowls and the pans and all [the] articles of bronze which they served with them they took away.

١٩ 19 وَأَخَذَ رَئِيسُ ٱلشُّرَطِ ٱلطُّسُوسَ وَٱلْمَجَامِرَ وَٱلْمَنَاضِحَ وَٱلْقُدُورَ وَٱلْمَنَايِرَ وَٱلصُّحُونَ وَٱلْأَقْدَاحَ، مَا كَانَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَٱلذَّهَبَ، وَمَا كَانَ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ فَٱلْفِضَّةَ.

And the basins and the fire-pans and the bowls and the pots and the lampstands and the pans and the bowls which [were] gold gold and which [were] silver silver he took away [the] chief of [the] bodyguards.

٢٠ 20 وَٱلْعَمُودَيْنِ وَٱلْبَحْرَ ٱلْوَاحِدَ، وَٱلِٱثْنَيْ عَشَرَ ثَوْرًا مِنْ نُحَاسٍ ٱلَّتِي تَحْتَ ٱلْقَوَاعِدِ، ٱلَّتِي عَمِلَهَا ٱلْمَلِكُ سُلَيْمَانُ لِبَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ. لَمْ يَكُنْ وَزْنٌ لِنُحَاسِ كُلِّ هَذِهِ ٱلْأَدَوَاتِ.

The pillars - two the sea one and the bull[s] two plus ten bronze which [were] under the stands which he had made the king Solomon for [the] house of Yahweh not it belonged weight to bronze their all the articles these.

٢١ 21 أَمَّا ٱلْعَمُودَانِ فَكَانَ طُولُ ٱلْعَمُودِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ ثَمَانِيَ عَشَرَةَ ذِرَاعًا، وَخَيْطٌ ٱثْنَتَا عَشَرَةَ ذِرَاعًا يُحِيطُ بِهِ، وَغِلَظُهُ أَرْبَعُ أَصَابِعَ، وَهُوَ أَجْوَفُ.

And the pillars [was] eight-teen cubit[s] ([the] height of *QK) the pillar one and a line of two plus ten cubit[s] it goes round it and thickness its [was] four fingers hollow.

٢٢ 22 وَعَلَيْهِ تَاجٌ مِنْ نُحَاسٍ، ٱرْتِفَاعُ ٱلتَّاجِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ خَمْسُ أَذْرُعٍ. وَعَلَى ٱلتَّاجِ حَوَالَيْهِ شَبَكَةٌ وَرُمَّانَاتُ، ٱلْكُلِّ مِنْ نُحَاسٍ. وَمِثْلُ ذَلِكَ لِلْعَمُودِ ٱلثَّانِي، وَٱلرُّمَّانَاتِ.

And a capital on it [was] bronze and [the] height of the capital one [was] five cubits and a network and pomegranates [was] on the capital all around everything [was] bronze and like these [belonged] to the pillar second and pomegranates.

٢٣ 23 وَكَانَتِ ٱلرُّمَّانَاتُ سِتًّا وَتِسْعِينَ لِلْجَانِبِ. كُلُّ ٱلرُّمَّانَاتِ مِئَةٌ عَلَى ٱلشَّبَكَةِ حَوَالَيْهَا.

And they were the pomegranates ninety and six [the] side towards all the pomegranates [were] one hundred on the network all around.

٢٤ 24 وَأَخَذَ رَئِيسُ ٱلشُّرَطِ سَرَايَا ٱلْكَاهِنَ ٱلْأَوَّلَ، وَصَفَنْيَا ٱلْكَاهِنَ ٱلثَّانِي وَحَارِسِي ٱلْبَابِ ٱلثَّلَاثَةَ.

And he took [the] chief of [the] bodyguards Seraiah [the] priest of the head and Zephaniah [the] priest of the second rank and [the] three [the] keepers of the threshold.

٢٥ 25 وَأَخَذَ مِنَ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ خَصِيًّا وَاحِدًا كَانَ وَكِيلًا عَلَى رِجَالِ ٱلْحَرْبِ، وَسَبْعَةَ رِجَالٍ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَنْظُرُونَ وَجْهَ ٱلْمَلِكِ، ٱلَّذِينَ وُجِدُوا فِي ٱلْمَدِينَةِ، وَكَاتِبَ رَئِيسِ ٱلْجُنْدِ ٱلَّذِي كَانَ يَجْمَعُ شَعْبَ ٱلْأَرْضِ لِلتَّجَنُّدِ، وَسِتِّينَ رَجُلًا مِنْ شَعْبِ ٱلْأَرْضِ، ٱلَّذِينَ وُجِدُوا فِي وَسْطِ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ.

And from the city he took a court-official one who he was an officer - over [the] men of war and seven men from [those who] saw [the] face of the king who they were found in the city and [the] scribe of [the] commander of the army who mustered [the] people of the land and sixty person[s] from [the] people of the land who were found in [the] midst of the city.

٢٦ 26 أَخَذَهُمْ نَبُوزَرَادَانُ رَئِيسُ ٱلشُّرَطِ، وَسَارَ بِهِمْ إِلَى مَلِكِ بَابِلَ، إِلَى رَبْلَةَ،

And he took them Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards and he brought them to [the] king of Babylon Riblah towards.

٢٧ 27 فَضَرَبَهُمْ مَلِكُ بَابِلَ وَقَتَلَهُمْ فِي رَبْلَةَ فِي أَرْضِ حَمَاةَ. فَسُبِيَ يَهُوذَا مِنْ أَرْضِهِ.

And he struck down them [the] king of Babylon and he put to death them at Riblah in [the] land of Hamath and it went into exile Judah from on land its.

٢٨ 28 هَذَا هُوَ ٱلشَّعْبُ ٱلَّذِي سَبَاهُ نَبُوخَذْرَاصَّرُ فِي ٱلسَّنَةِ ٱلسَّابِعَةِ: مِنَ ٱلْيَهُودِ ثَلَاثَةُ آلَافٍ وَثَلَاثَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ.

This [is] the people which he took into exile Nebuchadnezzar in year seven Jews three thousand and twenty and three.

٢٩ 29 وَفِي ٱلسَّنَةِ ٱلثَّامِنَةِ عَشَرَةَ لِنَبُوخَذْرَاصَّرَ سُبِيَ مِنْ أُورُشَلِيمَ ثَمَانُ مِئَةٍ وَٱثْنَانِ وَثَلَاثُونَ نَفْسًا.

In year eight-teen of Nebuchadnezzar from Jerusalem person[s] eight hundred thirty and two.

٣٠ 30 فِي ٱلسَّنَةِ ٱلثَّالِثَةِ وَٱلْعِشْرِينَ لِنَبُوخَذْرَاصَّرَ، سَبَى نَبُوزَرَادَانُ رَئِيسُ ٱلشُّرَطِ مِنَ ٱلْيَهُودِ سَبْعَ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسًا وَأَرْبَعِينَ نَفْسًا. جُمْلَةُ ٱلنُّفُوسِ أَرْبَعَةُ آلَافٍ وَسِتُّ مِئَةٍ.

In year three and twenty of Nebuchadnezzar he took into exile Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards Jews person[s] seven hundred forty and five every person [was] four thousand and six hundred.

٣١ 31 وَفِي ٱلسَّنَةِ ٱلسَّابِعَةِ وَٱلثَّلَاثِينَ لِسَبْيِ يَهُويَاكِينَ، فِي ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلثَّانِي عَشَرَ، فِي ٱلْخَامِسِ وَٱلْعِشْرِينَ مِنَ ٱلشَّهْرِ، رَفَعَ أَوِيلُ مَرُودَخُ مَلِكُ بَابِلَ، فِي سَنَةِ تَمَلُّكِهِ، رَأْسَ يَهُويَاكِينَ مَلِكِ يَهُوذَا، وَأَخْرَجَهُ مِنَ ٱلسِّجْنِ.

And it was in thirty and seven year of [the] exile of Jehoiachin [the] king of Judah in two plus ten month on [day] twenty and five of the month he lifted Evil-Merodach [the] king of Babylon in [the] year of kingdom his [the] head of Jehoiachin [the] king of Judah and he brought out him from [the] house of (imprisonment. *Qk)

٣٢ 32 وَكَلَّمَهُ بِخَيْرٍ، وَجَعَلَ كُرْسِيَّهُ فَوْقَ كَرَاسِيِّ ٱلْمُلُوكِ ٱلَّذِينَ مَعَهُ فِي بَابِلَ.

And he spoke with him good and he put seat his from above [the] seat of (the kings *QK) who [were] with him in Babylon.

٣٣ 33 وَغَيَّرَ ثِيَابَ سِجْنِهِ، وَكَانَ يَأْكُلُ دَائِمًا ٱلْخُبْزَ أَمَامَهُ كُلَّ أَيَّامِ حَيَاتِهِ.

And he changed [the] clothes of imprisonment his and he ate food before him continually all [the] days of life his.

٣٤ 34 وَوَظِيفَتُهُ وَظِيفَةٌ دَائِمَةٌ تُعْطَى لَهُ مِنْ عِنْدِ مَلِكِ بَابِلَ، أَمْرَ كُلِّ يَوْمٍ بِيَوْمِهِ، إِلَى يَوْمِ وَفَاتِهِ، كُلَّ أَيَّامِ حَيَاتِهِ.

And allowance his an allowance of continuity it was given to him from with [the] king of Babylon a matter of a day in day its until [the] day of death his all [the] days of life his.
