إِشَعْيَاءَ 6
| فِي سَنَةِ وَفَاةِ عُزِّيَّا ٱلْمَلِكِ، رَأَيْتُ ٱلسَّيِّدَ جَالِسًا عَلَى كُرْسِيٍّ عَالٍ وَمُرْتَفِعٍ، وَأَذْيَالُهُ تَمْلَأُ ٱلْهَيْكَلَ. | ١ 1 |
In the year that king Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne; he was high and elevated, and the hem of his robe filled the temple.
| ٱلسَّرَافِيمُ وَاقِفُونَ فَوْقَهُ، لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ سِتَّةُ أَجْنِحَةٍ، بِٱثْنَيْنِ يُغَطِّي وَجْهَهُ، وَبِٱثْنَيْنِ يُغَطِّي رِجْلَيْهِ، وَبَٱثْنَيْنِ يَطِيرُ. | ٢ 2 |
Above him were the seraphim; each one had six wings; with two each covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.
| وَهَذَا نَادَى ذَاكَ وَقَالَ: «قُدُّوسٌ، قُدُّوسٌ، قُدُّوسٌ رَبُّ ٱلْجُنُودِ. مَجْدُهُ مِلْءُ كُلِّ ٱلْأَرْضِ». | ٣ 3 |
Each one called to another and said, “Holy, holy, holy, is Yahweh of hosts! The whole earth is full of his glory.”
| فَٱهْتَزَّتْ أَسَاسَاتُ ٱلْعَتَبِ مِنْ صَوْتِ ٱلصَّارِخِ، وَٱمْتَلَأَ ٱلْبَيْتُ دُخَانًا. | ٤ 4 |
The foundations of the thresholds shook at the voices of those who were crying out, and the house was filled with smoke.
| فَقُلْتُ: «وَيْلٌ لِي! إِنِّي هَلَكْتُ، لِأَنِّي إِنْسَانٌ نَجِسُ ٱلشَّفَتَيْنِ، وَأَنَا سَاكِنٌ بَيْنَ شَعْبٍ نَجِسِ ٱلشَّفَتَيْنِ، لِأَنَّ عَيْنَيَّ قَدْ رَأَتَا ٱلْمَلِكَ رَبَّ ٱلْجُنُودِ». | ٥ 5 |
Then I said, “Woe is me! For I am doomed because I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, because my eyes have seen the King, Yahweh, Yahweh of hosts!”
| فَطَارَ إِلَيَّ وَاحِدٌ مِنَ ٱلسَّرَافِيمِ وَبِيَدِهِ جَمْرَةٌ قَدْ أَخَذَهَا بِمِلْقَطٍ مِنْ عَلَى ٱلْمَذْبَحِ، | ٦ 6 |
Then one of the seraphim flew to me; he had a glowing coal in his hand, that he had taken with the tongs from off the altar.
| وَمَسَّ بِهَا فَمِي وَقَالَ: «إِنَّ هَذِهِ قَدْ مَسَّتْ شَفَتَيْكَ، فَٱنْتُزِعَ إِثْمُكَ، وَكُفِّرَ عَنْ خَطِيَّتِكَ». | ٧ 7 |
He touched my mouth with it and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt has been taken away, and your sin atoned for.”
| ثُمَّ سَمِعْتُ صَوْتَ ٱلسَّيِّدِ قَائِلًا: «مَنْ أُرْسِلُ؟ وَمَنْ يَذْهَبُ مِنْ أَجْلِنَا؟» فَقُلْتُ: «هَأَنَذَا أَرْسِلْنِي». | ٨ 8 |
I heard the voice of the Lord say, “Whom shall I send; who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am; send me.”
| فَقَالَ: «ٱذْهَبْ وَقُلْ لِهَذَا ٱلشَّعْبِ: ٱسْمَعُوا سَمْعًا وَلَا تَفْهَمُوا، وَأَبْصِرُوا إِبْصَارًا وَلَا تَعْرِفُوا. | ٩ 9 |
He said, “Go and tell this people, 'Listen, but do not understand; see, but do not perceive.'
| غَلِّظْ قَلْبَ هَذَا ٱلشَّعْبِ وَثَقِّلْ أُذُنَيْهِ وَٱطْمُسْ عَيْنَيْهِ، لِئَلَّا يُبْصِرَ بِعَيْنَيْهِ وَيَسْمَعَ بِأُذُنَيْهِ وَيَفْهَمَ بِقَلْبِهِ، وَيَرْجِعَ فَيُشْفَى». | ١٠ 10 |
Make the heart of this people insensitive, and their ears dull, and blind their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and then turn and be healed.”
| فَقُلْتُ: «إِلَى مَتَى أَيُّهَا ٱلسَّيِّدُ؟» فَقَالَ: «إِلَى أَنْ تَصِيرَ ٱلْمُدُنُ خَرِبَةً بِلَا سَاكِنٍ، وَٱلْبُيُوتُ بِلَا إِنْسَانٍ، وَتَخْرَبَ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَتُقْفِرَ، | ١١ 11 |
Then I said, “Lord, how long?” He answered, “Until cities crash into ruins and are without inhabitants, and the houses are without people, and the land falls into a desolate waste,
| وَيُبْعِدَ ٱلرَّبُّ ٱلْإِنْسَانَ، وَيَكْثُرَ ٱلْخَرَابُ فِي وَسَطِ ٱلْأَرْضِ. | ١٢ 12 |
and until Yahweh has sent the people far away, and the solitude of the land is great.
| وَإِنْ بَقِيَ فِيهَا عُشْرٌ بَعْدُ، فَيَعُودُ وَيَصِيرُ لِلْخَرَابِ، وَلَكِنْ كَٱلْبُطْمَةِ وَٱلْبَلُّوطَةِ، ٱلَّتِي وَإِنْ قُطِعَتْ فَلَهَا سَاقٌ، يَكُونُ سَاقُهُ زَرْعًا مُقَدَّسًا». | ١٣ 13 |
Even if a tenth of the people remain in it, it will again be destroyed; as a terebinth or an oak is cut down and whose trunk remains, the holy seed is in its stump.”
