إِشَعْيَاءَ 50

١ 1 هَكَذَا قَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ: «أَيْنَ كِتَابُ طَلَاقِ أُمِّكُمُ ٱلَّتِي طَلَّقْتُهَا، أَوْ مَنْ هُوَ مِنْ غُرَمَائِي ٱلَّذِي بِعْتُهُ إِيَّاكُمْ؟ هُوَذَا مِنْ أَجْلِ آثَامِكُمْ قَدْ بُعْتُمْ، وَمِنْ أَجْلِ ذُنُوبِكُمْ طُلِّقَتْ أُمُّكُمْ.

Thus saith the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother’s divorcement, whom I have put away? or whom of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.

٢ 2 لِمَاذَا جِئْتُ وَلَيْسَ إِنْسَانٌ، نَادَيْتُ وَلَيْسَ مُجِيبٌ؟ هَلْ قَصَرَتْ يَدِي عَنِ ٱلْفِدَاءِ؟ وَهَلْ لَيْسَ فِيَّ قُدْرَةٌ لِلْإِنْقَاذِ؟ هُوَذَا بِزَجْرَتِي أُنَشِّفُ ٱلْبَحْرَ. أَجْعَلُ ٱلْأَنْهَارَ قَفْرًا. يُنْتِنُ سَمَكُهَا مِنْ عَدَمِ ٱلْمَاءِ، وَيَمُوتُ بِٱلْعَطَشِ.

Why, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.

٣ 3 أُلْبِسُ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ ظَلَامًا، وَأَجْعَلُ ٱلْمِسْحَ غِطَاءَهَا».

I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.

٤ 4 أَعْطَانِي ٱلسَّيِّدُ ٱلرَّبُّ لِسَانَ ٱلْمُتَعَلِّمِينَ لِأَعْرِفَ أَنْ أُغِيثَ ٱلْمُعْيِيَ بِكَلِمَةٍ. يُوقِظُ كُلَّ صَبَاحٍ، يُوقِظُ لِي أُذُنًا، لِأَسْمَعَ كَٱلْمُتَعَلِّمِينَ.

The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he awakeneth morning by morning, he awakeneth my ear to hear as the learned.

٥ 5 ٱلسَّيِّدُ ٱلرَّبُّ فَتَحَ لِي أُذُنًا وَأَنَا لَمْ أُعَانِدْ. إِلَى ٱلْوَرَاءِ لَمْ أَرْتَدَّ.

The Lord GOD opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned backward.

٦ 6 بَذَلْتُ ظَهْرِي لِلضَّارِبِينَ، وَخَدَّيَّ لِلنَّاتِفِينَ. وَجْهِي لَمْ أَسْتُرْ عَنِ ٱلْعَارِ وَٱلْبَصْقِ.

I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

٧ 7 وَٱلسَّيِّدُ ٱلرَّبُّ يُعِينُنِي، لِذَلِكَ لَا أَخْجَلُ. لِذَلِكَ جَعَلْتُ وَجْهِي كَٱلصَّوَّانِ وَعَرَفْتُ أَنِّي لَا أَخْزَى.

For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

٨ 8 قَرِيبٌ هُوَ ٱلَّذِي يُبَرِّرُنِي. مَنْ يُخَاصِمُنِي؟ لِنَتَوَاقَفْ! مَنْ هُوَ صَاحِبُ دَعْوَى مَعِي؟ لِيَتَقَدَّمْ إِلَيَّ!

He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is my adversary? let him come near to me.

٩ 9 هُوَذَا ٱلسَّيِّدُ ٱلرَّبُّ يُعِينُنِي. مَنْ هُوَ ٱلَّذِي يَحْكُمُ عَلَيَّ؟ هُوَذَا كُلُّهُمْ كَٱلثَّوْبِ يَبْلَوْنَ. يَأْكُلُهُمُ ٱلْعُثُّ.

Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall grow old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.

١٠ 10 مَنْ مِنْكُمْ خَائِفُ ٱلرَّبِّ، سَامِعٌ لِصَوْتِ عَبْدِهِ؟ مَنِ ٱلَّذِي يَسْلُكُ فِي ٱلظُّلُمَاتِ وَلَا نُورَ لَهُ؟ فَلْيَتَّكِلْ عَلَى ٱسْمِ ٱلرَّبِّ وَيَسْتَنِدْ إِلَى إِلَهِهِ.

Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and rely upon his God.

١١ 11 يَا هَؤُلَاءِ جَمِيعُكُمُ، ٱلْقَادِحِينَ نَارًا، ٱلْمُتَنَطِّقِينَ بِشَرَارٍ، ٱسْلُكُوا بِنُورِ نَارِكُمْ وَبِٱلشَّرَارِ ٱلَّذِي أَوْقَدْتُمُوهُ. مِنْ يَدِي صَارَ لَكُمْ هَذَا. فِي ٱلْوَجَعِ تَضْطَجِعُونَ.

Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that surround yourselves with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of my hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.
