إِشَعْيَاءَ 18

١ 1 يَا أَرْضَ حَفِيفِ ٱلْأَجْنِحَةِ ٱلَّتِي فِي عَبْرِ أَنْهَارِ كُوشَ،

woe! land: country/planet buzzing wing which from side: beyond to/for river Cush

٢ 2 ٱلْمُرْسِلَةَ رُسُلًا فِي ٱلْبَحْرِ وَفِي قَوَارِبَ مِنَ ٱلْبَرْدِيِّ عَلَى وَجْهِ ٱلْمِيَاهِ. ٱذْهَبُوا أَيُّهَا ٱلرُّسُلُ ٱلسَّرِيعُونَ إِلَى أُمَّةٍ طَوِيلَةٍ وَجَرْدَاءَ، إِلَى شَعْبٍ مَخُوفٍ مُنْذُ كَانَ فَصَاعِدًا، أُمَّةِ قُوَّةٍ وَشِدَّةٍ وَدَوْسٍ، قَدْ خَرَقَتِ ٱلْأَنْهَارُ أَرْضَهَا.

٣ 3 يَا جَمِيعَ سُكَّانِ ٱلْمَسْكُونَةِ وَقَاطِنِي ٱلْأَرْضِ، عِنْدَمَا تَرْتَفِعُ ٱلرَّايَةُ عَلَى ٱلْجِبَالِ تَنْظُرُونَ، وَعِنْدَمَا يُضْرَبُ بِٱلْبُوقِ تَسْمَعُونَ.

all to dwell world and to dwell land: country/planet like/as to lift: raise ensign mountain: mount to see: see and like/as to blow trumpet to hear: hear

٤ 4 لِأَنَّهُ هَكَذَا قَالَ لِيَ ٱلرَّبُّ: «إِنِّي أَهْدَأُ وَأَنْظُرُ فِي مَسْكَنِي كَٱلْحَرِّ ٱلصَّافِي عَلَى ٱلْبَقْلِ، كَغَيْمِ ٱلنَّدَى فِي حَرِّ ٱلْحَصَادِ».

for thus to say LORD to(wards) me (to quiet *Qk) and to look in/on/with foundation my like/as heat dazzling upon light like/as cloud dew in/on/with heat harvest

٥ 5 فَإِنَّهُ قَبْلَ ٱلْحَصَادِ، عِنْدَ تَمَامِ ٱلزَّهْرِ، وَعِنْدَمَا يَصِيرُ ٱلزَّهْرُ حِصْرِمًا نَضِيجًا، يَقْطَعُ ٱلْقُضْبَانَ بِٱلْمَنَاجِلِ، وَيَنْزِعُ ٱلْأَفْنَانَ وَيَطْرَحُهَا.

٦ 6 تُتْرَكُ مَعًا لِجَوَارِحِ ٱلْجِبَالِ وَلِوُحُوشِ ٱلْأَرْضِ، فَتُصَيِّفُ عَلَيْهَا ٱلْجَوَارِحُ، وَتُشَتِّي عَلَيْهَا جَمِيعُ وُحُوشِ ٱلْأَرْضِ.

to leave: forsake together to/for bird of prey mountain: mount and to/for animal [the] land: country/planet and to summer upon him [the] bird of prey and all animal [the] land: country/planet upon him to winter

٧ 7 فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ تُقَدَّمُ هَدِيَّةٌ لِرَبِّ ٱلْجُنُودِ مِنْ شَعْبٍ طَوِيلٍ وَأَجْرَدَ، وَمِنْ شَعْبٍ مَخُوفٍ مُنْذُ كَانَ فَصَاعِدًا، مِنْ أُمَّةٍ ذَاتِ قُوَّةٍ وَشِدَّةٍ وَدَوْسٍ، قَدْ خَرَقَتِ ٱلْأَنْهَارُ أَرْضَهَا، إِلَى مَوْضِعِ ٱسْمِ رَبِّ ٱلْجُنُودِ، جَبَلِ صِهْيَوْنَ.
