اَلتَّكْوِينُ 6

١ 1 وَحَدَثَ لَمَّا ٱبْتَدَأَ ٱلنَّاسُ يَكْثُرُونَ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ، وَوُلِدَ لَهُمْ بَنَاتٌ،

And it came to passe wha men bega to multiplye apo the erth ad had begot them doughters

٢ 2 أَنَّ أَبْنَاءَ ٱللهِ رَأَوْا بَنَاتِ ٱلنَّاسِ أَنَّهُنَّ حَسَنَاتٌ. فَٱتَّخَذُوا لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ نِسَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ مَا ٱخْتَارُوا.

the sonnes of God sawe the doughters of men that they were fayre and toke vnto them wyves which they best liked amoge the all.

٣ 3 فَقَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ: «لَا يَدِينُ رُوحِي فِي ٱلْإِنْسَانِ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ، لِزَيَغَانِهِ، هُوَ بَشَرٌ. وَتَكُونُ أَيَّامُهُ مِئَةً وَعِشْرِينَ سَنَةً».

And the LORd sayd: My spirite shall not allwaye stryve withe man for they are flesh. Nevertheles I wyll geue them yet space and hundred and. xx. yeres

٤ 4 كَانَ فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ طُغَاةٌ فِي تِلْكَ ٱلْأَيَّامِ. وَبَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَيْضًا إِذْ دَخَلَ بَنُو ٱللهِ عَلَى بَنَاتِ ٱلنَّاسِ وَوَلَدْنَ لَهُمْ أَوْلَادًا، هَؤُلَاءِ هُمُ ٱلْجَبَابِرَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مُنْذُ ٱلدَّهْرِ ذَوُو ٱسْمٍ.

There were tirantes in the world in thos dayes. For after that the children of God had gone in vnto the doughters of men and had begotten them childern the same childern were the mightiest of the world and men of renowne

٥ 5 وَرَأَى ٱلرَّبُّ أَنَّ شَرَّ ٱلْإِنْسَانِ قَدْ كَثُرَ فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ، وَأَنَّ كُلَّ تَصَوُّرِ أَفْكَارِ قَلْبِهِ إِنَّمَا هُوَ شِرِّيرٌ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ.

And whan the LORde sawe yt the wekednesse of man was encreased apon the erth and that all the ymaginacion and toughtes of his hert was only evell continually

٦ 6 فَحَزِنَ ٱلرَّبُّ أَنَّهُ عَمِلَ ٱلْإِنْسَانَ فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ، وَتَأَسَّفَ فِي قَلْبِهِ.

he repented that he had made man apon the erth and sorowed in his hert.

٧ 7 فَقَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ: «أَمْحُو عَنْ وَجْهِ ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلْإِنْسَانَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقْتُهُ، ٱلْإِنْسَانَ مَعَ بَهَائِمَ وَدَبَّابَاتٍ وَطُيُورِ ٱلسَّمَاءِ، لِأَنِّي حَزِنْتُ أَنِّي عَمِلْتُهُمْ».

And sayd: I wyll destroy mankynde which I haue made fro of the face of the erth: both man beast worme and foule of the ayre for it repeteth me that I haue made them.

٨ 8 وَأَمَّا نُوحٌ فَوَجَدَ نِعْمَةً فِي عَيْنَيِ ٱلرَّبِّ.

But yet Noe found grace in the syghte of the LORde.

٩ 9 هَذِهِ مَوَالِيدُ نُوحٍ: كَانَ نُوحٌ رَجُلًا بَارًّا كَامِلًا فِي أَجْيَالِهِ. وَسَارَ نُوحٌ مَعَ ٱللهِ.

These are the generatios of Noe. Noe was a righteous man and vncorrupte in his tyme and walked wyth god.

١٠ 10 وَوَلَدَ نُوحٌ ثَلَاثَةَ بَنِينَ: سَامًا، وَحَامًا، وَيَافَثَ.

And Noe begat. iij. sonnes: Sem Ham and Iapheth.

١١ 11 وَفَسَدَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَمَامَ ٱللهِ، وَٱمْتَلَأَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ ظُلْمًا.

And the erth was corrupte in the syghte of god and was full of mischefe.

١٢ 12 وَرَأَى ٱللهُ ٱلْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِيَ قَدْ فَسَدَتْ، إِذْ كَانَ كُلُّ بَشَرٍ قَدْ أَفْسَدَ طَرِيقَهُ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ.

And God loked vpon the erth ad loo it was corrupte: for all flesh had corrupte his way vppon the erth.

١٣ 13 فَقَالَ ٱللهُ لِنُوحٍ: «نِهَايَةُ كُلِّ بَشَرٍ قَدْ أَتَتْ أَمَامِي، لِأَنَّ ٱلْأَرْضَ ٱمْتَلَأَتْ ظُلْمًا مِنْهُمْ. فَهَا أَنَا مُهْلِكُهُمْ مَعَ ٱلْأَرْضِ.

Than sayd God to Noe: the end of all flesh is come before me for the erth is full of there myschefe. And loo I wyll destroy them with the erth.

١٤ 14 اِصْنَعْ لِنَفْسِكَ فُلْكًا مِنْ خَشَبِ جُفْرٍ. تَجْعَلُ ٱلْفُلْكَ مَسَاكِنَ، وَتَطْلِيهِ مِنْ دَاخِلٍ وَمِنْ خَارِجٍ بِٱلْقَارِ.

Make the an arcke of pyne tree and make chaumbers in the arcke and pytch it wythin and wythout wyth pytch.

١٥ 15 وَهَكَذَا تَصْنَعُهُ: ثَلَاثَ مِئَةِ ذِرَاعٍ يَكُونُ طُولُ ٱلْفُلْكِ، وَخَمْسِينَ ذِرَاعًا عَرْضُهُ، وَثَلَاثِينَ ذِرَاعًا ٱرْتِفَاعُهُ.

And of this facion shalt thou make it. The lenth of the arcke shall be. iij. hundred cubytes ad the bredth of it. l. cubytes and the heyth of it. xxx. cubytes.

١٦ 16 وَتَصْنَعُ كَوًّا لِلْفُلْكِ، وَتُكَمِّلُهُ إِلَى حَدِّ ذِرَاعٍ مِنْ فَوْقُ. وَتَضَعُ بَابَ ٱلْفُلْكِ فِي جَانِبِهِ. مَسَاكِنَ سُفْلِيَّةً وَمُتَوَسِّطَةً وَعُلْوِيَّةً تَجْعَلُهُ.

A wyndow shalt thou make aboue in the arcke. And wythin a cubyte compasse shalt thou finysh it. And the dore of the arcke shalt thou sette in ye syde of it: and thou shalt make it with. iij loftes one aboue an other.

١٧ 17 فَهَا أَنَا آتٍ بِطُوفَانِ ٱلْمَاءِ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ لِأُهْلِكَ كُلَّ جَسَدٍ فِيهِ رُوحُ حَيَاةٍ مِنْ تَحْتِ ٱلسَّمَاءِ. كُلُّ مَا فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ يَمُوتُ.

For behold I wil bringe in a floud of water apon the erth to destroy all flesh from vnder heaven wherin breth of life is so that all that is in the erth shall perish.

١٨ 18 وَلَكِنْ أُقِيمُ عَهْدِي مَعَكَ، فَتَدْخُلُ ٱلْفُلْكَ أَنْتَ وَبَنُوكَ وَٱمْرَأَتُكَ وَنِسَاءُ بَنِيكَ مَعَكَ.

But I will make myne apoyntement with the that both thou shalt come in to ye arcke and thy sonnes thy wyfe and thy sonnes wyves with the.

١٩ 19 وَمِنْ كُلِّ حَيٍّ مِنْ كُلِّ ذِي جَسَدٍ، ٱثْنَيْنِ مِنْ كُلٍّ تُدْخِلُ إِلَى ٱلْفُلْكِ لِٱسْتِبْقَائِهَا مَعَكَ. تَكُونُ ذَكَرًا وَأُنْثَى.

And of all that lyveth what soever flesh it be shalt thou brynge in to the arcke of every thynge a payre to kepe them a lyve wyth the. And male and female

٢٠ 20 مِنَ ٱلطُّيُورِ كَأَجْنَاسِهَا، وَمِنَ ٱلْبَهَائِمِ كَأَجْنَاسِهَا، وَمِنْ كُلِّ دَبَّابَاتِ ٱلْأَرْضِ كَأَجْنَاسِهَا. ٱثْنَيْنِ مِنْ كُلٍّ تُدْخِلُ إِلَيْكَ لِٱسْتِبْقَائِهَا.

se that they be of byrdes in their kynde and of beastes in their kynde and of all maner of wormes of the erth in their kinde: a payre of every thinge shall come vnto the to kepe them a lyve.

٢١ 21 وَأَنْتَ، فَخُذْ لِنَفْسِكَ مِنْ كُلِّ طَعَامٍ يُؤْكَلُ وَٱجْمَعْهُ عِنْدَكَ، فَيَكُونَ لَكَ وَلَهَا طَعَامًا».

And take vnto the of all maner of meate yt may be eaten and laye it vp in stoore by the that it may be meate both for ye and for the:

٢٢ 22 فَفَعَلَ نُوحٌ حَسَبَ كُلِّ مَا أَمَرَهُ بِهِ ٱللهُ. هَكَذَا فَعَلَ.

and Noe dyd acordynge to all that God commaunded hym.

The World is Destroyed by Water
