اَلتَّكْوِينُ 36
| وَهَذِهِ مَوَالِيدُ عِيسُوَ، ٱلَّذِي هُوَ أَدُومُ. | ١ 1 |
And these [are] [the] accounts of Esau that [is] Edom.
| أَخَذَ عِيسُو نِسَاءَهُ مِنْ بَنَاتِ كَنْعَانَ: عَدَا بِنْتَ إِيلُونَ ٱلْحِثِّيِّ، وَأُهُولِيبَامَةَ بِنْتَ عَنَى بِنْتِ صِبْعُونَ ٱلْحِوِّيِّ، | ٢ 2 |
Esau he took wives his from [the] daughters of Canaan Adah [the] daughter of Elon the Hittite and Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] daughter of Zibeon the Hivite.
| وَبَسْمَةَ بِنْتَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ أُخْتَ نَبَايُوتَ. | ٣ 3 |
And Basemath [the] daughter of Ishmael [the] sister of Nebaioth.
| فَوَلَدَتْ عَدَا لِعِيسُو أَلِيفَازَ، وَوَلَدَتْ بَسْمَةُ رَعُوئِيلَ، | ٤ 4 |
And she bore Adah to Esau Eliphaz and Basemath she bore Reuel.
| وَوَلَدَتْ أُهُولِيبَامَةُ: يَعُوشَ وَيَعْلَامَ وَقُورَحَ. هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو عِيسُو ٱلَّذِينَ وُلِدُوا لَهُ فِي أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ. | ٥ 5 |
And Oholibamah she bore (Jeush *QK) and Jalam and Korah these [were] [the] sons of Esau who they were born to him in [the] land of Canaan.
| ثُمَّ أَخَذَ عِيسُو نِسَاءَهُ وَبَنِيهِ وَبَنَاتِهِ وَجَمِيعَ نُفُوسِ بَيْتِهِ وَمَوَاشِيَهُ وَكُلَّ بَهَائِمِهِ وَكُلَّ مُقْتَنَاهُ ٱلَّذِي ٱقْتَنَى فِي أَرْضِ كَنْعَانَ، وَمَضَى إِلَى أَرْضٍ أُخْرَى مِنْ وَجْهِ يَعْقُوبَ أَخِيهِ، | ٦ 6 |
And he took Esau wives his and sons his and daughters his and all [the] people of household his and livestock his and all animal[s] his and all possession[s] his which he had accumulated in [the] land of Canaan and he went to a land [away] from before Jacob brother his.
| لِأَنَّ أَمْلَاكَهُمَا كَانَتْ كَثِيرَةً عَلَى ٱلسُّكْنَى مَعًا، وَلَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ أَرْضُ غُرْبَتِهِمَا أَنْ تَحْمِلَهُمَا مِنْ أَجْلِ مَوَاشِيهِمَا. | ٧ 7 |
For it was possession[s] their [too] much for dwelling together and not it was able [the] land of sojournings their to support them because of livestock their.
| فَسَكَنَ عِيسُو فِي جَبَلِ سَعِيرَ. وَعِيسُو هُوَ أَدُومُ. | ٨ 8 |
And he dwelt Esau in [the] hill country of Seir Esau that [is] Edom.
| وَهَذِهِ مَوَالِيدُ عِيسُو أَبِي أَدُومَ فِي جَبَلِ سَعِيرَ. | ٩ 9 |
And these [are] [the] accounts of Esau [the] ancestor of Edom in [the] hill country of Seir.
| هَذِهِ أَسْمَاءُ بَنِي عِيسُو: أَلِيفَازُ ٱبْنُ عَدَا ٱمْرَأَةِ عِيسُو، وَرَعُوئِيلُ ٱبْنُ بَسْمَةَ ٱمْرَأَةِ عِيسُو. | ١٠ 10 |
These [are] [the] names of [the] sons of Esau Eliphaz [the] son of Adah [the] wife of Esau Reuel [the] son of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
| وَكَانَ بَنُو أَلِيفَازَ: تَيْمَانَ وَأَوْمَارَ وَصَفْوًا وَجَعْثَامَ وَقَنَازَ. | ١١ 11 |
And they were [the] sons of Eliphaz Teman Omar Zepho and Gatam and Kenaz.
| وَكَانَتْ تِمْنَاعُ سُرِّيَّةً لِأَلِيفَازَ بْنِ عِيسُو، فَوَلَدَتْ لِأَلِيفَازَ عَمَالِيقَ. هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو عَدَا ٱمْرَأَةِ عِيسُو. | ١٢ 12 |
And Timna - she was a concubine of Eliphaz [the] son of Esau and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek these [were] [the] sons of Adah [the] wife of Esau.
| وَهَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو رَعُوئِيلَ: نَحَثُ وَزَارَحُ وَشَمَّةُ وَمِزَّةُ. هَؤُلَاءِ كَانُوا بَنِي بَسْمَةَ ٱمْرَأَةِ عِيسُو. | ١٣ 13 |
And these [were] [the] sons of Reuel Nahath and Zerah Shammah and Mizzah these they were [the] sons of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
| وَهَؤُلَاءِ كَانُوا بَنِي أُهُولِيبَامَةَ بِنْتِ عَنَى بِنْتِ صِبْعُونَ ٱمْرَأَةِ عِيسُو، وَلَدَتْ لِعِيسُو: يَعُوشَ وَيَعْلَامَ وَقُورَحَ. | ١٤ 14 |
And these they were [the] sons of Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] daughter of Zibeon [the] wife of Esau and she bore to Esau (Jeush *QK) and Jalam and Korah.
| هَؤُلَاءِ أُمَرَاءُ بَنِي عِيسُو: بَنُو أَلِيفَازَ بِكْرِ عِيسُو: أَمِيرُ تَيْمَانَ وَأَمِيرُ أُومَارَ وَأَمِيرُ صَفْوٍ وَأَمِيرُ قَنَازَ | ١٥ 15 |
These [were] [the] chiefs of [the] sons of Esau [the] sons of Eliphaz [the] firstborn of Esau chief Teman chief Omar chief Zepho chief Kenaz.
| وَأَمِيرُ قُورَحَ وَأَمِيرُ جَعْثَامَ وَأَمِيرُ عَمَالِيقَ. هَؤُلَاءِ أُمَرَاءُ أَلِيفَازَ فِي أَرْضِ أَدُومَ. هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو عَدَا. | ١٦ 16 |
Chief Korah chief Gatam chief Amalek these [were] [the] chiefs of Eliphaz in [the] land of Edom these [were] [the] sons of Adah.
| وَهَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو رَعُوئِيلَ بْنِ عِيسُو: أَمِيرُ نَحَثَ وَأَمِيرُ زَارَحَ وَأَمِيرُ شَمَّةَ وَأَمِيرُ مِزَّةَ. هَؤُلَاءِ أُمَرَاءُ رَعُوئِيلَ فِي أَرْضِ أَدُومَ. هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو بَسْمَةَ ٱمْرَأَةِ عِيسُو. | ١٧ 17 |
And these [were] [the] sons of Reuel [the] son of Esau chief Nahath chief Zerah chief Shammah chief Mizzah these [were] [the] chiefs of Reuel in [the] land of Edom these [were] [the] sons of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
| وَهَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو أُهُولِيبَامَةَ ٱمْرَأَةِ عِيسُو: أَمِيرُ يَعُوشَ وَأَمِيرُ يَعْلَامَ وَأَمِيرُ قُورَحَ. هَؤُلَاءِ أُمَرَاءُ أُهُولِيبَامَةَ بِنْتِ عَنَى ٱمْرَأَةِ عِيسُو. | ١٨ 18 |
And these [were] [the] sons of Oholibamah [the] wife of Esau chief Jeush chief Jalam chief Korah these [were] [the] chiefs of Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] wife of Esau.
| هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو عِيسُو ٱلَّذِي هُوَ أَدُومُ، وَهَؤُلَاءِ أُمَرَاؤُهُمْ. | ١٩ 19 |
These [were] [the] sons of Esau and these [were] chiefs their that [is] Edom.
| هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو سَعِيرَ ٱلْحُورِيِّ سُكَّانُ ٱلْأَرْضِ: لُوطَانُ وَشُوبَالُ وَصِبْعُونُ وَعَنَى | ٢٠ 20 |
These [were] [the] sons of Seir the Horite [the] inhabitants of the land Lotan and Shobal and Zibeon and Anah.
| وَدِيشُونُ وَإِيصَرُ وَدِيشَانُ. هَؤُلَاءِ أُمَرَاءُ ٱلْحُورِيِّينَ بَنُو سَعِيرَ فِي أَرْضِ أَدُومَ. | ٢١ 21 |
And Dishon and Ezer and Dishan these [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] [the] sons of Seir in [the] land of Edom.
| وَكَانَ ٱبْنَا لُوطَانَ: حُورِيَ وَهَيْمَامَ. وَكَانَتْ تِمْنَاعُ أُخْتَ لُوطَانَ. | ٢٢ 22 |
And they were [the] sons of Lotan Hori and Hemam and [the] sister of Lotan [was] Timna.
| وَهَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو شُوبَالَ: عَلْوَانُ وَمَنَاحَةُ وَعَيْبَالُ وَشَفْوٌ وَأُونَامُ. | ٢٣ 23 |
And these [were] [the] sons of Shobal Alvan and Manahath and Ebal Shepho and Onam.
| وَهَذَانِ ٱبْنَا صِبْعُونَ: أَيَّةُ وَعَنَى. هَذَا هُوَ عَنَى ٱلَّذِي وَجَدَ ٱلْحَمَائِمَ فِي ٱلْبَرِّيَّةِ إِذْ كَانَ يَرْعَى حَمِيرَ صِبْعُونَ أَبِيهِ. | ٢٤ 24 |
And these [were] [the] sons of Zibeon and Aiah and Anah he [was] Anah who he found the hot springs in the wilderness when was pasturing he the donkeys of Zibeon father his.
| وَهَذَا ٱبْنُ عَنَى: دِيشُونُ. وَأُهُولِيبَامَةُ هِيَ بِنْتُ عَنَى. | ٢٥ 25 |
And these [were] [the] children of Anah Dishon and Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah.
| وَهَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو دِيشَانَ: حَمْدَانُ وَأَشْبَانُ وَيِثْرَانُ وَكَرَانُ. | ٢٦ 26 |
And these [were] [the] sons of Dishan Hemdan and Eshban and Ithran and Keran.
| هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو إِيصَرَ: بِلْهَانُ وَزَعْوَانُ وَعَقَانُ. | ٢٧ 27 |
These [were] [the] sons of Ezer Bilhan and Zaavan and Akan.
| هَذَانِ ٱبْنَا دِيشَانَ: عُوصٌ وَأَرَانُ. | ٢٨ 28 |
These [were] [the] sons of Dishan Uz and Aran.
| هَؤُلَاءِ أُمَرَاءُ ٱلْحُورِيِّينَ: أَمِيرُ لُوطَانَ وَأَمِيرُ شُوبَالَ وَأَمِيرُ صِبْعُونَ وَأَمِيرُ عَنَى | ٢٩ 29 |
These [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] chief Lotan chief Shobal chief Zibeon chief Anah.
| وَأَمِيرُ دِيشُونَ وَأَمِيرُ إِيصَرَ وَأَمِيرُ دِيشَانَ. هَؤُلَاءِ أُمَرَاءُ ٱلْحُورِيِّينَ بِأُمَرَائِهِمْ فِي أَرْضِ سَعِيرَ. | ٣٠ 30 |
Chief Dishon chief Ezer chief Dishan these [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] to chiefs their in [the] land of Seir.
| وَهَؤُلَاءِ هُمُ ٱلْمُلُوكُ ٱلَّذِينَ مَلَكُوا فِي أَرْضِ أَدُومَ، قَبْلَمَا مَلَكَ مَلِكٌ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ. | ٣١ 31 |
And these [were] the kings who they reigned in [the] land of Edom before reigned a king of [the] people of Israel.
| مَلَكَ فِي أَدُومَ بَالَعُ بْنُ بَعُورَ، وَكَانَ ٱسْمُ مَدِينَتِهِ دِنْهَابَةَ. | ٣٢ 32 |
And he reigned in Edom Bela [the] son of Beor and [the] name of city his [was] Dinhabah.
| وَمَاتَ بَالَعُ، فَمَلَكَ مَكَانَهُ يُوبَابُ بْنُ زَارَحَ مِنْ بُصْرَةَ. | ٣٣ 33 |
And he died Bela and he reigned in place of him Jobab [the] son of Zerah from Bozrah.
| وَمَاتَ يُوبَابُ، فَمَلَكَ مَكَانَهُ حُوشَامُ مِنْ أَرْضِ ٱلتَّيْمَانِيِّ. | ٣٤ 34 |
And he died Jobab and he reigned in place of him Husham from [the] land of the Temanite[s].
| وَمَاتَ حُوشَامُ، فَمَلَكَ مَكَانَهُ هَدَادُ بْنُ بَدَادَ ٱلَّذِي كَسَّرَ مِدْيَانَ فِي بِلَادِ مُوآبَ، وَكَانَ ٱسْمُ مَدِينَتِهِ عَوِيتَ. | ٣٥ 35 |
And he died Husham and he reigned in place of him Hadad [the] son of Bedad who defeated Midian in [the] region of Moab and [the] name of city his [was] Avith.
| وَمَاتَ هَدَادُ، فَمَلَكَ مَكَانَهُ سَمْلَةُ مِنْ مَسْرِيقَةَ. | ٣٦ 36 |
And he died Hadad and he reigned in place of him Samlah from Masrekah.
| وَمَاتَ سَمْلَةُ، فَمَلَكَ مَكَانَهُ شَأُولُ مِنْ رَحُوبُوتِ ٱلنَّهْرِ. | ٣٧ 37 |
And he died Samlah and he reigned in place of him Shaul from Rehoboth the River.
| وَمَاتَ شَأُولُ، فَمَلَكَ مَكَانَهُ بَعْلُ حَانَانَ بْنُ عَكْبُورَ. | ٣٨ 38 |
And he died Shaul and he reigned in place of him Baal-Hanan [the] son of Achbor.
| وَمَاتَ بَعْلُ حَانَانَ بْنُ عَكْبُورَ، فَمَلَكَ مَكَانَهُ هَدَارُ وَكَانَ ٱسْمُ مَدِينَتِهِ فَاعُوَ، وَٱسْمُ ٱمْرَأَتِهِ مَهِيطَبْئِيلُ بِنْتُ مَطْرِدَ بِنْتِ مَاءِ ذَهَبٍ. | ٣٩ 39 |
And he died Baal-Hanan [the] son of Achbor and he reigned in place of him Hadar and [the] name of city his [was] Pau and [the] name of wife his [was] Mehetabel [the] daughter of Matred [the] daughter of Me-Zahab.
| وَهَذِهِ أَسْمَاءُ أُمَرَاءِ عِيسُو، حَسَبَ قَبَائِلِهِمْ وَأَمَاكِنِهِمْ بِأَسْمَائِهِمْ: أَمِيرُ تِمْنَاعَ وَأَمِيرُ عَلْوَةَ وَأَمِيرُ يَتِيتَ | ٤٠ 40 |
And these [were] [the] names of [the] chiefs of Esau to clans their to places their by names their chief Timna chief Alvah chief Jetheth.
| وَأَمِيرُ أُهُولِيبَامَةَ وَأَمِيرُ إِيلَةَ وَأَمِيرُ فِينُونَ | ٤١ 41 |
Chief Oholibamah chief Elah chief Pinon.
| وَأَمِيرُ قَنَازَ وَأَمِيرُ تَيْمَانَ وَأَمِيرُ مِبْصَارَ | ٤٢ 42 |
Chief Kenaz chief Teman chief Mibzar.
| وَأَمِيرُ مَجْدِيئِيلَ وَأَمِيرُ عِيرَامَ. هَؤُلَاءِ أُمَرَاءُ أَدُومَ حَسَبَ مَسَاكِنِهِمْ فِي أَرْضِ مُلْكِهِمْ. هَذَا هُوَ عِيسُو أَبُو أَدُومَ. | ٤٣ 43 |
Chief Magdiel chief Iram these - [were] [the] chiefs of Edom to dwelling places their in [the] land of possession their that [was] Esau [the] ancestor of Edom.
