عَزْرَا 4
| وَلَمَّا سَمِعَ أَعْدَاءُ يَهُوذَا وَبَنْيَامِينَ أَنَّ بَنِي ٱلسَّبْيِ يَبْنُونَ هَيْكَلًا لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، | ١ 1 |
and to hear: hear enemy Judah and Benjamin for son: type of [the] captivity to build temple to/for LORD God Israel
| تَقَدَّمُوا إِلَى زَرُبَّابِلَ وَرُؤُوسِ ٱلْآبَاءِ وَقَالُوا لَهُمْ: «نَبْنِي مَعَكُمْ لِأَنَّنَا نَظِيرَكُمْ نَطْلُبُ إِلَهَكُمْ، وَلَهُ قَدْ ذَبَحْنَا مِنْ أَيَّامِ أَسَرْحَدُّونَ مَلِكِ أَشُّورَ ٱلَّذِي أَصْعَدَنَا إِلَى هُنَا». | ٢ 2 |
and to approach: approach to(wards) Zerubbabel and to(wards) head: leader [the] father and to say to/for them to build with you for like/as you to seek to/for God your (and to/for him *QK) we to sacrifice from day Esarhaddon Esarhaddon king Assyria [the] to ascend: establish [obj] us here
| فَقَالَ لَهُمْ زَرُبَّابِلُ وَيَشُوعُ وَبَقِيَّةُ رُؤُوسِ آبَاءِ إِسْرَائِيلَ: «لَيْسَ لَكُمْ وَلَنَا أَنْ نَبْنِيَ بَيْتًا لِإِلَهِنَا، وَلَكِنَّنَا نَحْنُ وَحْدَنَا نَبْنِي لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِ إِسْرَائِيلَ كَمَا أَمَرَنَا ٱلْمَلِكُ كُورَشُ مَلِكُ فَارِسَ». | ٣ 3 |
and to say to/for them Zerubbabel and Jeshua and remnant head: leader [the] father to/for Israel not to/for you and to/for us to/for to build house: temple to/for God our for we unitedness to build to/for LORD God Israel like/as as which to command us [the] king Cyrus king Persia
| وَكَانَ شَعْبُ ٱلْأَرْضِ يُرْخُونَ أَيْدِيَ شَعْبِ يَهُوذَا وَيُذْعِرُونَهُمْ عَنِ ٱلْبِنَاءِ. | ٤ 4 |
and to be people [the] land: country/planet to slacken hand people Judah (and to dismay *QK) [obj] them to/for to build
| وَٱسْتَأْجَرُوا ضِدَّهُمْ مُشِيرِينَ لِيُبْطِلُوا مَشُورَتَهُمْ كُلَّ أَيَّامِ كُورَشَ مَلِكِ فَارِسَ وَحَتَّى مُلْكِ دَارِيُوسَ مَلِكِ فَارِسَ. | ٥ 5 |
and to hire upon them to advise to/for to break counsel their all day Cyrus king Persia and till royalty Darius king Persia
| وَفِي مُلْكِ أَحَشْوِيرُوشَ، فِي ٱبْتِدَاءِ مُلْكِهِ، كَتَبُوا شَكْوَى عَلَى سُكَّانِ يَهُوذَا وَأُورُشَلِيمَ. | ٦ 6 |
and in/on/with royalty Ahasuerus in/on/with beginning royalty his to write accusation upon to dwell Judah and Jerusalem
| وَفِي أَيَّامِ أَرْتَحْشَشْتَا كَتَبَ بِشْلَامُ وَمِثْرَدَاثُ وَطَبْئِيلُ وَسَائِرُ رُفَقَائِهِمْ إِلَى أَرْتَحْشَشْتَا مَلِكِ فَارِسَ. وَكِتَابَةُ ٱلرِّسَالَةِ مَكْتُوبَةٌ بِٱلْأَرَامِيَّةِ وَمُتَرْجَمَةٌ بِٱلْأَرَامِيَّةِ. | ٧ 7 |

| رَحُومُ صَاحِبُ ٱلْقَضَاءِ وَشِمْشَايُ ٱلْكَاتِبُ كَتَبَا رِسَالَةً ضِدَّ أُورُشَلِيمَ إِلَى أَرْتَحْشَشْتَا ٱلْمَلِكِ هَكَذَا: | ٨ 8 |
Rehum commander command and Shimshai scribe [the] to write letter one since Jerusalem to/for Artaxerxes king [the] thus
| كَتَبَ حِينَئِذٍ رَحُومُ صَاحِبُ ٱلْقَضَاءِ وَشِمْشَايُ ٱلْكَاتِبُ وَسَائِرُ رُفَقَائِهِمَا ٱلدِّينِيِّينَ وَٱلْأَفَرَسْتِكِيِّينَ وَٱلطَّرْفِلِيِّينَ وَٱلْأَفْرَسِيِّينَ وَٱلْأَرَكْوِيِّينَ وَٱلْبَابِلِيِّينَ وَٱلشُّوشَنِيِّينَ وَٱلدَّهْوِيِّينَ وَٱلْعِيلَامِيِّينَ، | ٩ 9 |
then Rehum commander command and Shimshai scribe [the] and remainder associate their judge [the] and govenors [the] officials [the] Persia [the] (Erech [the] *QK) Babylonian [the] Susa [the] (Dehavite [the] *QK) Elamite [the]
| وَسَائِرِ ٱلْأُمَمِ ٱلَّذِينَ سَبَاهُمْ أُسْنَفَّرُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ ٱلشَّرِيفُ وَأَسْكَنَهُمْ مُدُنَ ٱلسَّامِرَةِ، وَسَائِرِ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي عَبْرِ ٱلنَّهْرِ وَإِلَى آخِرِهِ. | ١٠ 10 |

| هَذِهِ صُورَةُ ٱلرِّسَالَةِ ٱلَّتِي أَرْسَلُوهَا إِلَيْهِ، إِلَى أَرْتَحْشَشْتَا ٱلْمَلِكِ: «عَبِيدُكَ ٱلْقَوْمُ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي عَبْرِ ٱلنَّهْرِ إِلَى آخِرِهِ. | ١١ 11 |

| لِيُعْلَمِ ٱلْمَلِكُ أَنَّ ٱلْيَهُودَ ٱلَّذِينَ صَعِدُوا مِنْ عِنْدِكَ إِلَيْنَا قَدْ أَتَوْا إِلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ وَيَبْنُونَ ٱلْمَدِينَةَ ٱلْعَاصِيَةَ ٱلرَّدِيَّةَ، وَقَدْ أَكْمَلُوا أَسْوَارَهَا وَرَمَّمُوا أُسُسَهَا. | ١٢ 12 |

| لِيَكُنِ ٱلْآنَ مَعْلُومًا لَدَى ٱلْمَلِكِ أَنَّهُ إِذَا بُنِيَتْ هَذِهِ ٱلْمَدِينَةُ وَأُكْمِلَتْ أَسْوَارُهَا لَا يُؤَدُّونَ جِزْيَةً وَلَا خَرَاجًا وَلَا خِفَارَةً، فَأَخِيرًا تَضُرُّ ٱلْمُلُوكَ. | ١٣ 13 |
now to know to be to/for king [the] that if town [the] this to build and wall [the] to complete tribute tribute and toll not to give: pay and revenue king to suffer injury
| وَٱلْآنَ بِمَا إِنَّنَا نَأْكُلُ مِلْحَ دَارِ ٱلْمَلِكِ، وَلَا يَلِيقُ بِنَا أَنْ نَرَى ضَرَرَ ٱلْمَلِكِ، لِذَلِكَ أَرْسَلْنَا فَأَعْلَمْنَا ٱلْمَلِكَ، | ١٤ 14 |

| لِكَيْ يُفَتَّشَ فِي سِفْرِ أَخْبَارِ آبَائِكَ، فَتَجِدَ فِي سِفْرِ ٱلْأَخْبَارِ وَتَعْلَمَ أَنَّ هَذِهِ ٱلْمَدِينَةَ مَدِينَةٌ عَاصِيَةٌ وَمُضِرَّةٌ لِلْمُلُوكِ وَٱلْبِلَادِ، وَقَدْ عَمِلُوا عِصْيَانًا فِي وَسَطِهَا مُنْذُ ٱلْأَيَّامِ ٱلْقَدِيمَةِ، لِذَلِكَ أُخْرِبَتْ هَذِهِ ٱلْمَدِينَةُ. | ١٥ 15 |
that to enquire in/on/with scroll record [the] that father your and to find in/on/with scroll record [the] and to know that town [the] this town rebellious and to suffer injury king and province and sedition to make in/on/with midst her from day perpetuity [the] since this town [the] this be wasted
| وَنَحْنُ نُعْلِمُ ٱلْمَلِكَ أَنَّهُ إِذَا بُنِيَتْ هَذِهِ ٱلْمَدِينَةُ وَأُكْمِلَتْ أَسْوَارُهَا لَا يَكُونُ لَكَ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ نَصِيبٌ فِي عَبْرِ ٱلنَّهْرِ». | ١٦ 16 |
to know we to/for king [the] that if town [the] this to build and wall [the] to complete to/for before this portion in/on/with beyond River [the] not there is to/for you
| فَأَرْسَلَ ٱلْمَلِكُ جَوَابًا: «إِلَى رَحُومَ صَاحِبِ ٱلْقَضَاءِ وَشَمْشَايَ ٱلْكَاتِبِ وَسَائِرِ رُفَقَائِهِمَا ٱلسَّاكِنِينَ فِي ٱلسَّامِرَةِ وَبَاقِي ٱلَّذِينَ فِي عَبْرِ ٱلنَّهْرِ. سَلَامٌ إِلَى آخِرِهِ. | ١٧ 17 |

| ٱلرِّسَالَةُ ٱلَّتِي أَرْسَلْتُمُوهَا إِلَيْنَا قَدْ قُرِئَتْ بِوُضُوحٍ أَمَامِي. | ١٨ 18 |

| وَقَدْ خَرَجَ مِنْ عِنْدِي أَمْرٌ فَفَتَّشُوا وَوُجِدَ أَنَّ هَذِهِ ٱلْمَدِينَةَ مُنْذُ ٱلْأَيَّامِ ٱلْقَدِيمَةِ تَقُومُ عَلَى ٱلْمُلُوكِ، وَقَدْ جَرَى فِيهَا تَمَرُّدٌ وَعِصْيَانٌ. | ١٩ 19 |
and from me to set: make command and to enquire and to find that town [the] this from day perpetuity [the] since king to lift and rebellion and sedition to make in/on/with her
| وَقَدْ كَانَ مُلُوكٌ مُقْتَدِرُونَ عَلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ وَتَسَلَّطُوا عَلَى جَمِيعِ عَبْرِ ٱلنَّهْرِ، وَقَدْ أُعْطُوا جِزْيَةً وَخَرَاجًا وَخِفَارَةً. | ٢٠ 20 |
and king strong to be since Jerusalem and ruling in/on/with all beyond River [the] and tribute tribute and toll to give to/for them
| فَٱلْآنَ أَخْرِجُوا أَمْرًا بِتَوْقِيفِ أُولَئِكَ ٱلرِّجَالِ فَلَا تُبْنَى هَذِهِ ٱلْمَدِينَةُ حَتَّى يَصْدُرَ مِنِّي أَمْرٌ. | ٢١ 21 |
now to set: make command to/for to cease man [the] these and town [the] this not to build till from me command [the] to set: make
| فَٱحْذَرُوا مِنْ أَنْ تَقْصُرُوا عَنْ عَمَلِ ذَلِكَ. لِمَاذَا يَكْثُرُ ٱلضَّرَرُ لِخَسَارَةِ ٱلْمُلُوكِ؟». | ٢٢ 22 |
and to take heed to be neglect to/for to make since this to/for what? to grow great harm [the] to/for to suffer injury king
| حِينَئِذٍ لَمَّا قُرِئَتْ رِسَالَةُ أَرْتَحْشَشْتَا ٱلْمَلِكِ أَمَامَ رَحُومَ وَشِمْشَايَ ٱلْكَاتِبِ وَرُفَقَائِهِمَا ذَهَبُوا بِسُرْعَةٍ إِلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ، إِلَى ٱلْيَهُودِ، وَأَوْقَفُوهُمْ بِذِرَاعٍ وَقُوَّةٍ. | ٢٣ 23 |
then from that copy document [the] that (Artaxerxes *Qk) king [the] to read before Rehum and Shimshai scribe [the] and associate their to go in/on/with hastely to/for Jerusalem since Jew [the] and to cease they in/on/with force and strength
| حِينَئِذٍ تَوَقَّفَ عَمَلُ بَيْتِ ٱللهِ ٱلَّذِي فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ، وَكَانَ مُتَوَقِّفًا إِلَى ٱلسَّنَةِ ٱلثَّانِيَةِ مِنْ مُلْكِ دَارِيُوسَ مَلِكِ فَارِسَ. | ٢٤ 24 |
in/on/with then to cease service house god [the] that in/on/with Jerusalem and to be to cease till year two to/for kingdom Darius king Persia
