| وَهَؤُلَاءِ هُمْ بَنُو ٱلْكُورَةِ ٱلصَّاعِدُونَ مِنْ سَبْيِ ٱلْمَسْبِيِّينَ، ٱلَّذِينَ سَبَاهُمْ نَبُوخَذْنَاصَّرُ مَلِكُ بَابِلَ إِلَى بَابِلَ، وَرَجَعُوا إِلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ وَيَهُوذَا، كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ إِلَى مَدِينَتِهِ. | ١ 1 |
Now these are the sons of the province who went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and who returned to Jerusalem and Judah, every man to his city,
| ٱلَّذِينَ جَاءُوا مَعَ زَرُبَّابِلَ، يَشُوعُ، نَحَمْيَا، سَرَايَا، رَعْلَايَا، مُرْدَخَايُ، بِلْشَانُ، مِسْفَارُ، بِغْوَايُ، رَحُومُ، بَعْنَةَ. عَدَدُ رِجَالِ شَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ: | ٢ 2 |
who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
| بَنُو فَرْعُوشَ أَلْفَانِ وَمِئَةٌ وَٱثْنَانِ وَسَبْعُونَ. | ٣ 3 |
The sons of Parosh, two thousand a hundred seventy-two.
| بَنُو شَفَطْيَا ثَلَاثُ مِئَةٍ وَٱثْنَانِ وَسَبْعُونَ. | ٤ 4 |
The sons of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy-two.
| بَنُو آرَحَ سَبْعُ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسَةٌ وَسَبْعُونَ. | ٥ 5 |
The sons of Arah, seven hundred seventy-five.
| بَنُو فَحَثَ مُوآبَ مِنْ بَنِي يَشُوعَ وَيُوآبَ أَلْفَانِ وَثَمَانُ مِئَةٍ وَٱثْنَا عَشَرَ. | ٦ 6 |
The sons of Pahath-moab, of the sons of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve.
| بَنُو عِيلَامَ أَلْفٌ وَمِئَتَانِ وَأَرْبَعَةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ. | ٧ 7 |
The sons of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty-four.
| بَنُو زَتُّو تِسْعُ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسَةٌ وَأَرْبَعُونَ. | ٨ 8 |
The sons of Zattu, nine hundred forty-five.
| بَنُو زَكَّايَ سَبْعُ مِئَةٍ وَسِتُّونَ. | ٩ 9 |
The sons of Zaccai, seven hundred and sixty.
| بَنُو بَانِي سِتُّ مِئَةٍ وَٱثْنَانِ وَأَرْبَعُونَ. | ١٠ 10 |
The sons of Bani, six hundred forty-two.
| بَنُو بَابَايَ سِتُّ مِئَةٍ وَثَلَاثَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ. | ١١ 11 |
The sons of Bebai, six hundred twenty-three.
| بَنُو عَرْجَدَ أَلْفٌ وَمِئَتَانِ وَٱثْنَانِ وَعِشْرُونَ. | ١٢ 12 |
The sons of Azgad, a thousand two hundred twenty-two.
| بَنُو أَدُونِيقَامَ سِتُّ مِئَةٍ وَسِتَّةٌ وَسِتُّونَ. | ١٣ 13 |
The sons of Adonikam, six hundred sixty-six.
| بَنُو بِغْوَايَ أَلْفَانِ وَسِتَّةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ. | ١٤ 14 |
The sons of Bigvai, two thousand fifty-six.
| بَنُو عَادِينَ أَرْبَعُ مِئَةٍ وَأَرْبَعَةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ. | ١٥ 15 |
The sons of Adin, four hundred fifty-four.
| بَنُو آطِيرَ مِنْ يَحَزَقِيَّا ثَمَانِيَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ. | ١٦ 16 |
The sons of Ater, of Hezekiah, ninety-eight.
| بَنُو بِيصَايَ ثَلَاثُ مِئَةٍ وَثَلَاثَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ. | ١٧ 17 |
The sons of Bezai, three hundred twenty-three.
| بَنُو يُورَةَ مِئَةٌ وَٱثْنَا عَشَرَ. | ١٨ 18 |
The sons of Jorah, a hundred and twelve.
| بَنُو حَشُومَ مِئَتَانِ وَثَلَاثَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ. | ١٩ 19 |
The sons of Hashum, two hundred twenty-three.
| بَنُو جِبَّارَ خَمْسَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ. | ٢٠ 20 |
The sons of Gibbar, ninety-five.
| بَنُو بَيْتِ لَحْمٍ مِئَةٌ وَثَلَاثَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ. | ٢١ 21 |
The sons of Bethlehem, a hundred twenty-three.
| رِجَالُ نَطُوفَةَ سِتَّةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ. | ٢٢ 22 |
The men of Netophah, fifty-six.
| رِجَالُ عَنَاثُوثَ مِئَةٌ وَثَمَانِيَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ. | ٢٣ 23 |
The men of Anathoth, a hundred twenty-eight.
| بَنُو عَزْمُوتَ ٱثْنَانِ وَأَرْبَعُونَ. | ٢٤ 24 |
The sons of Azmaveth, forty-two.
| بَنُو قَرْيَةِ عَارِيمَ كَفِيرَةَ وَبَئِيرُوتَ سَبْعُ مِئَةٍ وَثَلَاثَةٌ وَأَرْبَعُونَ. | ٢٥ 25 |
The sons of Kiriath-arim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty-three.
| بَنُو ٱلرَّامَةِ وَجَبَعَ سِتُّ مِئَةٍ وَوَاحِدٌ وَعِشْرُونَ. | ٢٦ 26 |
The sons of Ramah and Geba, six hundred twenty-one.
| رِجَالُ مِخْمَاسَ مِئَةٌ وَٱثْنَانِ وَعِشْرُونَ. | ٢٧ 27 |
The men of Michmas, a hundred twenty-two.
| رِجَالُ بَيْتِ إِيلَ وَعَايَ مِئَتَانِ وَثَلَاثَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ. | ٢٨ 28 |
The men of Bethel and Ai, two hundred twenty-three.
| بَنُو نَبُو ٱثْنَانِ وَخَمْسُونَ. | ٢٩ 29 |
The sons of Nebo, fifty-two.
| بَنُو مَغْبِيشَ مِئَةٌ وَسِتَّةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ. | ٣٠ 30 |
The sons of Magbish, a hundred fifty-six.
| بَنُو عِيلَامَ ٱلْآخَرِ أَلْفٌ وَمِئَتَانِ وَأَرْبَعَةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ. | ٣١ 31 |
The sons of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty-four.
| بَنُو حَارِيمَ ثَلَاثُ مِئَةٍ وَعِشْرُونَ. | ٣٢ 32 |
The sons of Harim, three hundred and twenty.
| بَنُو لُودَ بَنُو حَادِيدَ وَأُونُو سَبْعُ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ. | ٣٣ 33 |
The sons of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred twenty-five.
| بَنُو أَرِيحَا ثَلَاثُ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسَةٌ وَأَرْبَعُونَ. | ٣٤ 34 |
The sons of Jericho, three hundred forty-five.
| بَنُو سَنَاءَةَ ثَلَاثَةُ آلَافٍ وَسِتُّ مِئَةٍ وَثَلَاثُونَ. | ٣٥ 35 |
The sons of Senaah, three thousand and six hundred and thirty.
| أَمَّا ٱلْكَهَنَةُ: فَبَنُو يَدْعِيَا مِنْ بَيْتِ يَشُوعَ تِسْعُ مِئَةٍ وَثَلَاثَةٌ وَسَبْعُونَ. | ٣٦ 36 |
The priests: the sons of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy-three.
| بَنُو إِمِّيرَ أَلْفٌ وَٱثْنَانِ وَخَمْسُونَ. | ٣٧ 37 |
The sons of Immer, a thousand fifty-two.
| بَنُو فَشْحُورَ أَلْفٌ وَمِئَتَانِ وَسَبْعَةٌ وَأَرْبَعُونَ. | ٣٨ 38 |
The sons of Pashhur, a thousand two hundred forty-seven.
| بَنُو حَارِيمَ أَلْفٌ وَسَبْعَةَ عَشَرَ. | ٣٩ 39 |
The sons of Harim, a thousand and seventeen.
| أَمَّا ٱللَّاوِيُّونَ: فَبَنُو يَشُوعَ وَقَدْمِيئِيلَ مِنْ بَنِي هُودُويَا أَرْبَعَةٌ وَسَبْعُونَ. | ٤٠ 40 |
The Levites: the sons of Jeshua and Kadmiel, of the sons of Hodaviah, seventy-four.
| ٱلْمُغَنُّونَ بَنُو آسَافَ مِئَةٌ وَثَمَانِيَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ. | ٤١ 41 |
The singers: the sons of Asaph, a hundred twenty-eight.
| بَنُو ٱلْبَوَّابِينَ: بَنُو شَلُّومَ، بَنُو آطِيرَ، بَنُو طَلْمُونَ، بَنُو عَقُّوبَ، بَنُو حَطِيطَا، بَنُو شُوبَايَ، ٱلْجَمِيعُ مِئَةٌ وَتِسْعَةٌ وَثَلَاثُونَ. | ٤٢ 42 |
The sons of the porters: the sons of Shallum, the sons of Ater, the sons of Talmon, the sons of Akkub, the sons of Hatita, the sons of Shobai, in all a hundred thirty-nine.
| ٱلنَّثِينِيمُ: بَنُو صِيحَا، بَنُو حَسُوفَا، بَنُو طَبَاعُوتَ، | ٤٣ 43 |
The Nethinim: the sons of Ziha, the sons of Hasupha, the sons of Tabbaoth,
| بَنُو قِيرُوسَ، بَنُو سِيعَهَا، بَنُو فَادُونَ، | ٤٤ 44 |
the sons of Keros, the sons of Siaha, the sons of Padon,
| بَنُو لَبَانَةَ، بَنُو حَجَابَةَ، بَنُو عَقُّوبَ، | ٤٥ 45 |
the sons of Lebanah, the sons of Hagabah, the sons of Akkub,
| بَنُو حَاجَابَ، بَنُو شَمُلَايَ، بَنُو حَانَانَ، | ٤٦ 46 |
the sons of Hagab, the sons of Shamlai, the sons of Hanan,
| بَنُو جَدِيلَ، بَنُو حَجَرَ، بَنُو رَآيَا، | ٤٧ 47 |
the sons of Giddel, the sons of Gahar, the sons of Reaiah,
| بَنُو رَصِينَ، بَنُو نَقُودَا، بَنُو جَزَّامَ، | ٤٨ 48 |
the sons of Rezin, the sons of Nekoda, the sons of Gazzam,
| بَنُو عُزَّا، بَنُو فَاسِيحَ، بَنُو بِيسَايَ، | ٤٩ 49 |
the sons of Uzza, the sons of Paseah, the sons of Besai,
| بَنُو أَسْنَةَ، بَنُو مَعُونِيمَ، بَنُو نَفُوسِيمَ، | ٥٠ 50 |
the sons of Asnah, the sons of Meunim, the sons of Nephisim,
| بَنُو بَقْبُوقَ، بَنُو حَقُوفَا، بَنُو حَرْحُورَ، | ٥١ 51 |
the sons of Bakbuk, the sons of Hakupha, the sons of Harhur,
| بَنُو بَصْلُوتَ، بَنُو مَحِيدَا، بَنُو حَرْشَا، | ٥٢ 52 |
the sons of Bazluth, the sons of Mehida, the sons of Harsha,
| بَنُو بَرْقُوسَ، بَنُو سِيسَرَا، بَنُو ثَامَحَ، | ٥٣ 53 |
the sons of Barkos, the sons of Sisera, the sons of Temah,
| بَنُو نَصِيحَ، بَنُو حَطِيفَا. | ٥٤ 54 |
the sons of Neziah, the sons of Hatipha.
| بَنُو عَبِيدِ سُلَيْمَانَ: بَنُو سَوْطَايَ، بَنُو هَسُّوفَرَثَ، بَنُو فَرُودَا، | ٥٥ 55 |
The sons of Solomon's servants: the sons of Sotai, the sons of Hassophereth, the sons of Peruda,
| بَنُو يَعْلَةَ، بَنُو دَرْقُونَ، بَنُو جَدِّيلَ، | ٥٦ 56 |
the sons of Jaalah, the sons of Darkon, the sons of Giddel,
| بَنُو شَفَطْيَا، بَنُو حَطِّيلَ، بَنُو فُوخَرَةِ ٱلظِّبَاءِ، بَنُو آمِي. | ٥٧ 57 |
the sons of Shephatiah, the sons of Hattil, the sons of Pochereth-hazzebaim, the sons of Ami.
| جَمِيعُ ٱلنَّثِينِيمِ وَبَنِي عَبِيدِ سُلَيْمَانَ ثَلَاثُ مِئَةٍ وَٱثْنَانِ وَتِسْعُونَ. | ٥٨ 58 |
All the Nethinim and the sons of Solomon's servants were three hundred ninety-two.
| وَهَؤُلَاءِ هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ صَعِدُوا مِنْ تَلِّ مِلْحٍ وَتَلِّ حَرْشَا، كَرُوبُ، أَدَّانُ، إِمِّيرُ، وَلَمْ يَسْتَطِيعُوا أَنْ يُبَيِّنُوا بُيُوتَ آبَائِهِمْ وَنَسْلَهُمْ هَلْ هُمْ مِنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ: | ٥٩ 59 |
And these were those who went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer, but they could not show their fathers' houses, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:
| بَنُو دَلَايَا، بَنُو طُوبِيَّا، بَنُو نَقُودَا، سِتُّ مِئَةٍ وَٱثْنَانِ وَخَمْسُونَ. | ٦٠ 60 |
the sons of Delaiah, the sons of Tobiah, the sons of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.
| وَمِنْ بَنِي ٱلْكَهَنَةِ: بَنُو حَبَايَا، بَنُو هَقُّوصَ، بَنُو بَرْزِلَّايَ ٱلَّذِي أَخْذَ ٱمْرَأَةً مِنْ بَنَاتِ بَرْزِلَّايَ ٱلْجِلْعَادِيِّ وَتَسَمَّى بِٱسْمِهِمْ. | ٦١ 61 |
And of the sons of the priests: the sons of Habaiah, the sons of Hakkoz, the sons of Barzillai who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
| هَؤُلَاءِ فَتَّشُوا عَلَى كِتَابَةِ أَنْسَابِهِمْ فَلَمْ تُوجَدْ، فَرُذِلُوا مِنَ ٱلْكَهَنُوتِ. | ٦٢ 62 |
These sought their registration among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found. Therefore they were deemed polluted and put away from the priesthood.
| وَقَالَ لَهُمُ ٱلتِّرْشَاثَا أَنْ لَا يَأْكُلُوا مِنْ قُدْسِ ٱلْأَقْدَاسِ حَتَّى يَقُومَ كَاهِنٌ لِلْأُورِيمِ وَٱلتُّمِّيمِ. | ٦٣ 63 |
And the governor said to them that they should not eat of the most holy things till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.
| كُلُّ ٱلْجُمْهُورِ مَعًا ٱثْنَانِ وَأَرْبَعُونَ أَلْفًا وَثَلَاثُ مِئَةٍ وَسِتُّونَ، | ٦٤ 64 |
The whole assembly together was forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty,
| فَضْلًا عَنْ عَبِيدِهِمْ وَإِمَائِهِمْ فَهَؤُلَاءِ كَانُوا سَبْعَةَ آلَافٍ وَثَلَاثَ مِئَةٍ وَسَبْعَةً وَثَلَاثِينَ، وَلَهُمْ مِنَ ٱلْمُغَنِّينَ وَٱلْمُغَنِّيَاتِ مِئَتَانِ. | ٦٥ 65 |
besides their men-servants and their maid-servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven. And they had two hundred singing men and singing women.
| خَيْلُهُمْ سَبْعُ مِئَةٍ وَسِتَّةٌ وَثَلَاثُونَ. بِغَالُهُمْ مِئَتَانِ وَخَمْسَةٌ وَأَرْبَعُونَ. | ٦٦ 66 |
Their horses were seven hundred thirty-six, their mules, two hundred forty-five,
| جِمَالُهُمْ أَرْبَعُ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسَةٌ وَثَلَاثُونَ. حَمِيرُهُمْ سِتَّةُ آلَافٍ وَسَبْعُ مِئَةٍ وَعِشْرُونَ. | ٦٧ 67 |
their camels, four hundred thirty-five, their donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
| وَٱلْبَعْضُ مِنْ رُؤُوسِ ٱلْآبَاءِ عِنْدَ مَجِيئِهِمْ إِلَى بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ ٱلَّذِي فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ تَبَرَّعُوا لِبَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ لِإِقَامَتِهِ فِي مَكَانِهِ. | ٦٨ 68 |
And some of the heads of fathers, when they came to the house of Jehovah which is in Jerusalem, offered willingly for the house of God to set it up in its place.
| أَعْطَوْا حَسَبَ طَاقَتِهِمْ لِخِزَانَةِ ٱلْعَمَلِ وَاحِدًا وَسِتِّينَ أَلْفَ دِرْهَمٍ مِنَ ٱلذَّهَبِ، وَخَمْسَةَ آلَافِ مَنًا مِنَ ٱلْفِضَّةِ، وَمِئَةَ قَمِيصٍ لِلْكَهَنَةِ. | ٦٩ 69 |
They gave after their ability into the treasury of the work sixty-one thousand darics of gold, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests' garments.
| فَأَقَامَ ٱلْكَهَنَةُ وَٱللَّاوِيُّونَ وَبَعْضُ ٱلشَّعْبِ وَٱلْمُغَنُّونَ وَٱلْبَوَّابُونَ وَٱلنَّثِينِيمُ فِي مُدُنِهِمْ وَكُلُّ إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي مُدُنِهِمْ. | ٧٠ 70 |
So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinim, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
