وَعَلَى ٱلنَّهْرِ يَنْبُتُ عَلَى شَاطِئِهِ مِنْ هُنَا وَمِنْ هُنَاكَ كُلُّ شَجَرٍ لِلْأَكْلِ، لَا يَذْبُلُ وَرَقُهُ وَلَا يَنْقَطِعُ ثَمَرُهُ. كُلَّ شَهْرٍ يُبَكِّرُ لِأَنَّ مِيَاهَهُ خَارِجَةٌ مِنَ ٱلْمَقْدِسِ، وَيَكُونُ ثَمَرُهُ لِلْأَكْلِ وَوَرَقُهُ لِلدَّوَاءِ. ١٢ 12
Und an dem Bache steigen auf hüben und drüben an seinem Ufer jeglicher Baum zur Speise. Nicht welkt sein Blatt, und seine Frucht geht nicht zu Ende; gemäß seinen Monaten treibt er Erstlinge; denn seine Wasser gehen aus vom Heiligtum. Und seine Frucht ist zum Essen und sein Blatt zur Arznei.
