حِزْقِيَال 39

١ 1 «وَأَنْتَ يَا ٱبْنَ آدَمَ، تَنَبَّأْ عَلَى جُوجٍ وَقُلْ: هَكَذَا قَالَ ٱلسَّيِّدُ ٱلرَّبُّ: هَأَنَذَا عَلَيْكَ يَا جُوجُ رَئِيسُ رُوشٍ مَاشِكَ وَتُوبَالَ.

And thou, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus says the lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, ruler of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.

٢ 2 وَأَرُدُّكَ وَأَقُودُكَ وَأُصْعِدُكَ مِنْ أَقَاصِي ٱلشِّمَالِ وَآتِي بِكَ عَلَى جِبَالِ إِسْرَائِيلَ.

And I will turn thee about, and will lead thee on, and will cause thee to come up from the outermost parts of the north, and I will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel.

٣ 3 وَأَضْرِبُ قَوْسَكَ مِنْ يَدِكَ ٱلْيُسْرَى، وَأُسْقِطُ سِهَامَكَ مِنْ يَدِكَ ٱلْيُمْنَى.

And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.

٤ 4 فَتَسْقُطُ عَلَى جِبَالِ إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنْتَ وَكُلُّ جَيْشِكَ وَٱلشُّعُوبُ ٱلَّذِينَ مَعَكَ. أَبْذُلُكَ مَأْكَلًا لِلطُّيُورِ ٱلْكَاسِرَةِ مِنْ كُلِّ نَوْعٍ وَلِوُحُوشِ ٱلْحَقْلِ.

Thou shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy hordes, and the peoples who are with thee. I will give thee to the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.

٥ 5 عَلَى وَجْهِ ٱلْحَقْلِ تَسْقُطُ، لِأَنِّي تَكَلَّمْتُ، يَقُولُ ٱلسَّيِّدُ ٱلرَّبُّ.

Thou shall fall upon the open field, for I have spoken it, says the lord Jehovah.

٦ 6 وَأُرْسِلُ نَارًا عَلَى مَاجُوجَ وَعَلَى ٱلسَّاكِنِينَ فِي ٱلْجَزَائِرِ آمِنِينَ، فَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنِّي أَنَا ٱلرَّبُّ.

And I will send a fire on Magog, and on those who dwell securely in the isles. And they shall know that I am Jehovah.

٧ 7 وَأُعَرِّفُ بِٱسْمِي ٱلْمُقَدَّسِ فِي وَسْطِ شَعْبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَلَا أَدَعُ ٱسْمِي ٱلْمُقَدَّسَ يُنَجَّسُ بَعْدُ، فَتَعْلَمُ ٱلْأُمَمُ أَنِّي أَنَا ٱلرَّبُّ قُدُّوسُ إِسْرَائِيلَ.

And I will make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel, nor will I allow my holy name to be profaned any more. And the nations shall know that I am Jehovah, the Holy One in Israel.

٨ 8 «هَا هُوَ قَدْ أَتَى وَصَارَ، يَقُولُ ٱلسَّيِّدُ ٱلرَّبُّ. هَذَا هُوَ ٱلْيَوْمُ ٱلَّذِي تَكَلَّمْتُ عَنْهُ.

Behold, it comes, and it shall be done, says the lord Jehovah. This is the day of which I have spoken.

٩ 9 وَيَخْرُجُ سُكَّانُ مُدُنِ إِسْرَائِيلَ وَيُشْعِلُونَ وَيُحْرِقُونَ ٱلسِّلَاحَ وَٱلْمَجَانَّ وَٱلْأَتْرَاسَ وَٱلْقِسِيَّ وَٱلسِّهَامَ وَٱلْحِرَابَ وَٱلرِّمَاحَ، وَيُوقِدُونَ بِهَا ٱلنَّارَ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ.

And those who dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall make fires of the weapons and burn them, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the hand staves, and the spears. And they shall make fires of them seven years,

١٠ 10 فَلَا يَأْخُذُونَ مِنَ ٱلْحَقْلِ عُودًا، وَلَا يَحْتَطِبُونَ مِنَ ٱلْوُعُورِ، لِأَنَّهُمْ يُحْرِقُونَ ٱلسِّلَاحَ بِٱلنَّارِ، وَيَنْهَبُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ نَهَبُوهُمْ، وَيَسْلُبُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ سَلَبُوهُمْ، يَقُولُ ٱلسَّيِّدُ ٱلرَّبُّ.

so that they shall take no wood out of the field, nor cut down any out of the forests, for they shall make fires of the weapons. And they shall plunder those who plundered them, and rob those who robbed them, says the lord Jehovah.

١١ 11 وَيَكُونُ فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ، أَنِّي أُعْطِي جُوجًا مَوْضِعًا هُنَاكَ لِلْقَبْرِ فِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَوَادِي عَبَارِيمَ بِشَرْقِيِّ ٱلْبَحْرِ، فَيَسُدُّ نَفَسَ ٱلْعَابِرِينَ. وَهُنَاكَ يَدْفِنُونَ جُوجًا وَجُمْهُورَهُ كُلَّهُ، وَيُسَمُّونَهُ: وَادِيَ جُمْهُورِ جُوجٍ.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give to Gog a place for burial in Israel: the valley of those who pass through on the east of the sea. And it shall stop those who pass through, and they shall bury Gog and all his multitude there. And they shall call it The valley of Hamon-gog.

١٢ 12 وَيَقْبِرُهُمْ بَيْتُ إِسْرَائِيلَ لِيُطَهِّرُوا ٱلْأَرْضَ سَبْعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ.

And the house of Israel shall be burying them seven months, that they may cleanse the land.

١٣ 13 كُلُّ شَعْبِ ٱلْأَرْضِ يَقْبِرُونَ، وَيَكُونُ لَهُمْ يَوْمُ تَمْجِيدِي مَشْهُورًا، يَقُولُ ٱلسَّيِّدُ ٱلرَّبُّ.

Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them, and it shall be to them a renown in the day that I shall be glorified, says the lord Jehovah.

١٤ 14 وَيُفْرِزُونَ أُنَاسًا مُسْتَدِيمِينَ عَابِرِينَ فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ، قَابِرِينَ مَعَ ٱلْعَابِرِينَ أُولَئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ بَقُوا عَلَى وَجْهِ ٱلْأَرْضِ. تَطْهِيرًا لَهَا. بَعْدَ سَبْعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ يَفْحَصُونَ.

And they shall set apart men of continual employment, who shall pass through the land. And, with those who pass through, those that bury those who remain upon the face of the land, to cleanse it, after the end of seven months they shall search.

١٥ 15 فَيَعْبُرُ ٱلْعَابِرُونَ فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ، وَإِذَا رَأَى أَحَدٌ عَظْمَ إِنْسَانٍ يَبْنِي بِجَانِبِهِ صُوَّةً حَتَّى يَقْبِرَهُ ٱلْقَابِرُونَ فِي وَادِي جُمْهُورِ جُوجٍ،

And those who pass through the land shall pass through, and when any man sees a man's bone, then he shall set up a sign by it till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog.

١٦ 16 وَأَيْضًا ٱسْمُ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ «هَمُونَةُ»، فَيُطَهِّرُونَ ٱلْأَرْضَ.

And Hamonah shall also be the name of a city. Thus they shall cleanse the land.

١٧ 17 «وَأَنْتَ يَا ٱبْنَ آدَمَ، فَهَكَذَا قَالَ ٱلسَّيِّدُ ٱلرَّبُّ: قُلْ لِطَائِرِ كُلِّ جَنَاحٍ، وَلِكُلِّ وُحُوشِ ٱلْبَرِّ: ٱجْتَمِعُوا، وَتَعَالَوْا، ٱحْتَشِدُوا مِنْ كُلِّ جِهَةٍ، إِلَى ذَبِيحَتِي ٱلَّتِي أَنَا ذَابِحُهَا لَكُمْ، ذَبِيحَةً عَظِيمَةً عَلَى جِبَالِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، لِتَأْكُلُوا لَحْمًا وَتَشْرَبُوا دَمًا.

And thou, son of man, thus says the lord Jehovah: Speak to the birds of every sort, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come. Gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh and drink blood.

١٨ 18 تَأْكُلُونَ لَحْمَ ٱلْجَبَابِرَةِ وَتَشْرَبُونَ دَمَ رُؤَسَاءِ ٱلْأَرْضِ. كِبَاشٌ وَحُمْلَانٌ وَأَعْتِدَةٌ وَثِيرَانٌ كُلُّهَا مِنْ مُسَمَّنَاتِ بَاشَانَ.

Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the rulers of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.

١٩ 19 وَتَأْكُلُونَ ٱلشَّحْمَ إِلَى ٱلشَّبَعِ، وَتَشْرَبُونَ ٱلدَّمَ إِلَى ٱلسُّكْرِ مِنْ ذَبِيحَتِي ٱلَّتِي ذَبَحْتُهَا لَكُمْ.

And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.

٢٠ 20 فَتَشْبَعُونَ عَلَى مَائِدَتِي مِنَ ٱلْخَيْلِ وَٱلْمَرْكَبَاتِ وَٱلْجَبَابِرَةِ وَكُلِّ رِجَالِ ٱلْحَرْبِ، يَقُولُ ٱلسَّيِّدُ ٱلرَّبُّ.

And ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, says the lord Jehovah.

٢١ 21 وَأَجْعَلُ مَجْدِي فِي ٱلْأُمَمِ، وَجَمِيعُ ٱلْأُمَمِ يَرَوْنَ حُكْمِي ٱلَّذِي أَجْرَيْتُهُ، وَيَدِي ٱلَّتِي جَعَلْتُهَا عَلَيْهِمْ،

And I will set my glory among the nations. And all the nations shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

٢٢ 22 فَيَعْلَمُ بَيْتُ إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنِّي أَنَا ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُهُمْ مِنْ ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ فَصَاعِدًا.

So the house of Israel shall know that I am Jehovah their God, from that day and forward.

٢٣ 23 وَتَعْلَمُ ٱلْأُمَمُ أَنَّ بَيْتَ إِسْرَائِيلَ قَدْ أُجْلُوا بِإِثْمِهِمْ لِأَنَّهُمْ خَانُونِي، فَحَجَبْتُ وَجْهِي عَنْهُمْ وَسَلَّمْتُهُمْ لِيَدِ مُضَايِقِيهِمْ، فَسَقَطُوا كُلُّهُمْ بِٱلسَّيْفِ.

And the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they trespassed against me, and I hid my face from them. So I gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they fell all of them by the sword.

٢٤ 24 كَنَجَاسَتِهِمْ وَكَمَعَاصِيهِمْ فَعَلْتُ مَعَهُمْ وَحَجَبْتُ وَجْهِي عَنْهُمْ.

I did to them according to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions. And I hid my face from them.

٢٥ 25 «لِذَلِكَ هَكَذَا قَالَ ٱلسَّيِّدُ ٱلرَّبُّ: ٱلْآنَ أَرُدُّ سَبْيَ يَعْقُوبَ، وَأَرْحَمُ كُلَّ بَيْتِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَأَغَارُ عَلَى ٱسْمِي ٱلْقُدُّوسِ.

Therefore thus says the lord Jehovah: Now I will bring back the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel. And I will be jealous for my holy name.

٢٦ 26 فَيَحْمِلُونَ خِزْيَهُمْ وَكُلَّ خِيَانَتِهِمِ ٱلَّتِي خَانُونِي إِيَّاهَا عِنْدَ سَكَنِهِمْ فِي أَرْضِهِمْ مُطْمَئِنِّينَ وَلَا مُخِيفٌ.

And they shall bear their shame, and all their trespasses by which they have trespassed against me, when they shall dwell securely in their land. And none shall make them afraid

٢٧ 27 عِنْدَ إِرْجَاعِي إِيَّاهُمْ مِنَ ٱلشُّعُوبِ، وَجَمْعِي إِيَّاهُمْ مِنْ أَرَاضِي أَعْدَائِهِمْ، وَتَقْدِيسِي فِيهِمْ أَمَامَ عُيُونِ أُمَمٍ كَثِيرِينَ،

when I have brought them back from the peoples, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations.

٢٨ 28 يَعْلَمُونَ أَنِّي أَنَا ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُهُمْ بِإِجْلَائِي إِيَّاهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْأُمَمِ، ثُمَّ جَمْعِهِمْ إِلَى أَرْضِهِمْ. وَلَا أَتْرُكُ بَعْدُ هُنَاكَ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ،

And they shall know that I am Jehovah their God, in that I caused them to go into captivity among the nations, and have gathered them to their own land. And I will leave none of them any more there,

٢٩ 29 وَلَا أَحْجُبُ وَجْهِي عَنْهُمْ بَعْدُ، لِأَنِّي سَكَبْتُ رُوحِي عَلَى بَيْتِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، يَقُولُ ٱلسَّيِّدُ ٱلرَّبُّ».

nor will I hide my face any more from them. For I have poured out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, says the lord Jehovah.
