حِزْقِيَال 10

١ 1 ثُمَّ نَظَرْتُ وَإِذَا عَلَى ٱلْمُقَبَّبِ ٱلَّذِي عَلَى رَأْسِ ٱلْكَرُوبِيمِ شَيْءٌ كَحَجَرِ ٱلْعَقِيقِ ٱلْأَزْرَقِ، كَمَنْظَرِ شِبْهِ عَرْشٍ.

Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was over the head of the cherubim there appeared above them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

٢ 2 وَكَلَّمَ ٱلرَّجُلَ ٱللَّابِسَ ٱلْكَتَّانِ وَقَالَ: «ٱدْخُلْ بَيْنَ ٱلْبَكَرَاتِ تَحْتَ ٱلْكَرُوبِ وَٱمْلَأْ حَفْنَتَيْكَ جَمْرَ نَارٍ مِنْ بَيْنِ ٱلْكَرُوبِيمِ، وَذَرِّهَا عَلَى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ». فَدَخَلَ قُدَّامَ عَيْنَيَّ.

And he spoke to the man clothed in linen, and said, Go in between the whirling wheels, even under the cherub, and fill both thy hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.

٣ 3 وَٱلْكَرُوبِيمُ وَاقِفُونَ عَنْ يَمِينِ ٱلْبَيْتِ حِينَ دَخَلَ ٱلرَّجُلُ، وَٱلسَّحَابَةُ مَلَأَتِ ٱلدَّارَ ٱلدَّاخِلِيَّةَ.

Now the cherubim stood on the right side of the house when the man went in, and the cloud filled the inner court.

٤ 4 فَٱرْتَفَعَ مَجْدُ ٱلرَّبِّ عَنِ ٱلْكَرُوبِ إِلَى عَتَبَةِ ٱلْبَيْتِ. فَٱمْتَلَأَ ٱلْبَيْتُ مِنَ ٱلسَّحَابَةِ، وَٱمْتَلَأَتِ ٱلدَّارُ مِنْ لَمَعَانِ مَجْدِ ٱلرَّبِّ.

And the glory of Jehovah mounted up from the cherub, over the threshold of the house. And the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of Jehovah's glory.

٥ 5 وَسُمِعَ صَوْتُ أَجْنِحَةِ ٱلْكَرُوبِيمِ إِلَى ٱلدَّارِ ٱلْخَارِجِيَّةِ كَصَوْتِ ٱللهِ ٱلْقَدِيرِ إِذَا تَكَلَّمَ.

And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of God Almighty when he speaks.

٦ 6 وَكَانَ لَمَّا أَمَرَ ٱلرَّجُلَ ٱللَّابِسَ ٱلْكَتَّانِ قَائِلًا: «خُذْ نَارًا مِنْ بَيْنِ ٱلْبَكَرَاتِ، مِنْ بَيْنِ ٱلْكَرُوبِيمِ» أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ وَوَقَفَ بِجَانِبِ ٱلْبَكَرَةِ.

And it came to pass, when he commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, Take fire from between the whirling wheels, from between the cherubim, that he went in, and stood beside a wheel.

٧ 7 وَمَدَّ كَرُوبٌ يَدَهُ مِنْ بَيْنِ ٱلْكَرُوبِيمِ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ ٱلَّتِي بَيْنَ ٱلْكَرُوبِيمِ، فَرَفَعَ مِنْهَا وَوَضَعَهَا فِي حَفْنَتَيِ ٱللَّابِسِ ٱلْكَتَّانِ، فَأَخَذَهَا وَخَرَجَ.

And the cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubim to the fire that was between the cherubim, and took, and put it into the hands of him who was clothed in linen, who took it and went out.

٨ 8 فَظَهَرَ فِي ٱلْكَرُوبِيمِ شِبْهُ يَدِ إِنْسَانٍ مِنْ تَحْتِ أَجْنِحَتِهَا.

And there appeared in the cherubim the form of a man's hand under their wings.

٩ 9 وَنَظَرْتُ وَإِذَا أَرْبَعُ بَكَرَاتٍ بِجَانِبِ ٱلْكَرُوبِيمِ. بَكَرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ بِجَانِبِ ٱلْكَرُوبِ ٱلْوَاحِدِ، وَبَكَرَةٌ أُخْرَى بِجَانِبِ ٱلْكَرُوبِ ٱلْآخَرِ. وَمَنْظَرُ ٱلْبَكَرَاتِ كَشِبْهِ حَجَرِ ٱلزَّبَرْجَدِ.

And I looked, and, behold, four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside one cherub, and another wheel beside another cherub. And the appearance of the wheels was like a beryl stone.

١٠ 10 وَمَنْظَرُهُنَّ شَكْلٌ وَاحِدٌ لِلْأَرْبَعِ. كَأَنَّهُ كَانَ بَكْرَةٌ وَسْطِ بَكْرَةٍ.

And as for their appearance, those four had one likeness, as if a wheel have been within a wheel.

١١ 11 لَمَّا سَارَتْ، سَارَتْ عَلَى جَوَانِبِهَا ٱلْأَرْبَعَةِ. لَمْ تَدُرْ عِنْدَ سَيْرِهَا، بَلْ إِلَى ٱلْمَوْضِعِ ٱلَّذِي تَوَجَّهَ إِلَيْهِ ٱلرَّأْسُ ذَهَبَتْ وَرَاءَهُ. لَمْ تَدُرْ عِنْدَ سَيْرِهَا.

When they went, they went in their four directions. They did not turn as they went, but to the place where the head looked they followed it. They did not turn as they went.

١٢ 12 وَكُلُّ جِسْمِهَا وَظُهُورِهَا وَأَيْدِيهَا وَأَجْنِحَتِهَا وَٱلْبَكَرَاتِ مَلْآنَةٌ عُيُونًا حَوَالَيْهَا لِبَكَرَاتِهَا ٱلْأَرْبَعِ.

And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that those four had.

١٣ 13 أَمَّا ٱلْبَكَرَاتُ فَنُودِيَ إِلَيْهَا فِي سَمَاعِي: «يَا بَكْرَةُ».

As for the wheels, they were called in my hearing, O wheel.

١٤ 14 وَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ أَرْبَعَةُ أَوْجُهٍ: ٱلْوَجْهُ ٱلْأَوَّلُ وَجْهُ كَرُوبٍ، وَٱلْوَجْهُ ٱلثَّانِي وَجْهُ إِنْسَانٍ، وَٱلثَّالِثُ وَجْهُ أَسَدٍ، وَٱلرَّابِعُ وَجْهُ نَسْرٍ.

And each one had four faces. The first face was the face of the cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third face the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

١٥ 15 ثُمَّ صَعِدَ ٱلْكَرُوبِيمُ. هَذَا هُوَ ٱلْحَيَوَانُ ٱلَّذِي رَأَيْتُهُ عِنْدَ نَهْرِ خَابُورَ.

And the cherubim mounted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river Chebar.

١٦ 16 وَعِنْدَ سَيْرِ ٱلْكَرُوبِيمِ سَارَتِ ٱلْبَكَرَاتُ بِجَانِبِهَا، وَعِنْدَ رَفْعِ ٱلْكَرُوبِيمِ أَجْنِحَتَهَا لِلِٱرْتِفَاعِ عَنِ ٱلْأَرْضِ لَمْ تَدُرِ ٱلْبَكَرَاتُ أَيْضًا عَنْ جَانِبِهَا.

And when the cherubim went, the wheels went beside them. And when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels also did not turn from beside them.

١٧ 17 عِنْدَ وُقُوفِهَا وَقَفَتْ هَذِهِ، وَعِنْدَ ٱرْتِفَاعِهَا ٱرْتَفَعَتْ مَعَهَا، لِأَنَّ فِيهَا رُوحَ ٱلْحَيَوَانِ.

When they stood, these stood, and when they mounted up, these mounted up with them, for the spirit of the living creature was in them.

١٨ 18 وَخَرَجَ مَجْدُ ٱلرَّبِّ مِنْ عَلَى عَتَبَةِ ٱلْبَيْتِ وَوَقَفَ عَلَى ٱلْكَرُوبِيمِ.

And the glory of Jehovah went forth from over the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubim.

١٩ 19 فَرَفَعَتِ ٱلْكَرُوبِيمُ أَجْنِحَتَهَا وَصَعِدَتْ عَنِ ٱلْأَرْضِ قُدَّامَ عَيْنَيَّ. عِنْدَ خُرُوجِهَا كَانَتِ ٱلْبَكَرَاتُ مَعَهَا، وَوَقَفَتْ عِنْدَ مَدْخَلِ بَابِ بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ ٱلشَّرْقِيِّ، وَمَجْدُ إِلَهِ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ فَوْقُ.

And the cherubim lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight when they went forth, and the wheels beside them. And they stood at the door of the east gate of Jehovah's house, and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

٢٠ 20 هَذَا هُوَ ٱلْحَيَوَانُ ٱلَّذِي رَأَيْتُهُ تَحْتَ إِلَهِ إِسْرَائِيلَ عِنْدَ نَهْرِ خَابُورَ. وَعَلِمْتُ أَنَّهَا هِيَ ٱلْكَرُوبِيمُ.

This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar, and I knew that they were cherubim.

٢١ 21 لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ أَرْبَعَةُ أَوْجُهٍ، وَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ أَرْبَعَةُ أَجْنِحَةٍ، وَشِبْهُ أَيْدِي إِنْسَانٍ تَحْتَ أَجْنِحَتِهَا.

Each one had four faces, and each one four wings. And the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

٢٢ 22 وَشَكْلُ وُجُوهِهَا هُوَ شَكْلُ ٱلْوُجُوهِ ٱلَّتِي رَأَيْتُهَا عِنْدَ نَهْرِ خَابُورَ مَنَاظِرُهَا وَذَوَاتُهَا. كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ يَسِيرُ إِلَى جِهَةِ وَجْهِهِ.

And as for the likeness of their faces, they were the faces which I saw by the river Chebar, their appearances and themselves. They went each one straight forward.
