أَسْتِير 8

١ 1 فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ أَعْطَى ٱلْمَلِكُ أَحَشْوِيرُوشُ لِأَسْتِيرَ ٱلْمَلِكَةِ بَيْتَ هَامَانَ عَدُوِّ ٱلْيَهُودِ. وَأَتَى مُرْدَخَايُ إِلَى أَمَامِ ٱلْمَلِكِ لِأَنَّ أَسْتِيرَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ بِمَا هُوَ لَهَا.

in/on/with day [the] he/she/it to give: give [the] king Ahasuerus to/for Esther [the] queen [obj] house: home Haman to vex ([the] Jew *Qk) and Mordecai to come (in): come to/for face: before [the] king for to tell Esther what? he/she/it to/for her

٢ 2 وَنَزَعَ ٱلْمَلِكُ خَاتَمَهُ ٱلَّذِي أَخَذَهُ مِنْ هَامَانَ وَأَعْطَاهُ لِمُرْدَخَايَ. وَأَقَامَتْ أَسْتِيرُ مُرْدَخَايَ عَلَى بَيْتِ هَامَانَ.

and to turn aside: remove [the] king [obj] ring his which to pass: bring from Haman and to give: give her to/for Mordecai and to set: appoint Esther [obj] Mordecai upon house: home Haman

٣ 3 ثُمَّ عَادَتْ أَسْتِيرُ وَتَكَلَّمَتْ أَمَامَ ٱلْمَلِكِ وَسَقَطَتْ عِنْدَ رِجْلَيْهِ وَبَكَتْ وَتَضَرَّعَتْ إِلَيْهِ أَنْ يُزِيلَ شَرَّ هَامَانَ ٱلْأَجَاجِيِّ وَتَدْبِيرَهُ ٱلَّذِي دَبَّرَهُ عَلَى ٱلْيَهُودِ.

and to add: again Esther and to speak: speak to/for face: before [the] king and to fall: fall to/for face: before foot his and to weep and be gracious to/for him to/for to pass: bring [obj] distress: evil Haman [the] Agagite and [obj] plot his which to devise: design upon [the] Jew

٤ 4 فَمَدَّ ٱلْمَلِكُ لِأَسْتِيرَ قَضِيبَ ٱلذَّهَبِ، فَقَامَتْ أَسْتِيرُ وَوَقَفَتْ أَمَامَ ٱلْمَلِكِ

and to extend [the] king to/for Esther [obj] scepter [the] gold and to arise: rise Esther and to stand: stand to/for face: before [the] king

٥ 5 وَقَالَتْ: «إِذَا حَسُنَ عِنْدَ ٱلْمَلِكِ، وَإِنْ كُنْتُ قَدْ وَجَدْتُ نِعْمَةً أَمَامَهُ وَٱسْتَقَامَ ٱلْأَمْرُ أَمَامَ ٱلْمَلِكِ وَحَسُنْتُ أَنَا لَدَيْهِ، فَلْيُكْتَبْ لِكَيْ تُرَدَّ كِتَابَاتُ تَدْبِيرِ هَامَانَ بْنِ هَمَدَاثَا ٱلْأَجَاجِيِّ ٱلَّتِي كَتَبَهَا لِإِبَادَةِ ٱلْيَهُودِ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي كُلِّ بِلَادِ ٱلْمَلِكِ.

٦ 6 لِأَنَّنِي كَيْفَ أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَرَى ٱلشَّرَّ ٱلَّذِي يُصِيبُ شَعْبِي؟ وَكَيْفَ أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَرَى هَلَاكَ جِنْسِي؟».

٧ 7 فَقَالَ ٱلْمَلِكُ أَحَشْوِيرُوشُ لِأَسْتِيرَ ٱلْمَلِكَةِ وَمُرْدَخَايَ ٱلْيَهُودِيِّ: «هُوَذَا قَدْ أَعْطَيْتُ بَيْتَ هَامَانَ لِأَسْتِيرَ، أَمَّا هُوَ فَقَدْ صَلَبُوهُ عَلَى ٱلْخَشَبَةِ مِنْ أَجْلِ أَنَّهُ مَدَّ يَدَهُ إِلَى ٱلْيَهُودِ.

and to say [the] king Ahasuerus to/for Esther [the] queen and to/for Mordecai [the] Jew behold house: household Haman to give: give to/for Esther and [obj] him to hang upon [the] tree: stake upon which to send: reach hand his (in/on/with Jew *Qk)

٨ 8 فَٱكْتُبَا أَنْتُمَا إِلَى ٱلْيَهُودِ مَا يَحْسُنُ فِي أَعْيُنِكُمَا بِٱسْمِ ٱلْمَلِكِ، وَٱخْتُمَاهُ بِخَاتِمِ ٱلْمَلِكِ، لِأَنَّ ٱلْكِتَابَةَ ٱلَّتِي تُكْتَبُ بِٱسْمِ ٱلْمَلِكِ وَتُخْتَمُ بِخَاتِمِهِ لَا تُرَدُّ».

and you(m. p.) to write upon [the] Jew like/as pleasant in/on/with eye: appearance your in/on/with name [the] king and to seal in/on/with ring [the] king for writing which to write in/on/with name [the] king and to seal in/on/with ring [the] king nothing to/for to return: turn back

٩ 9 فَدُعِيَ كُتَّابُ ٱلْمَلِكِ فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْوَقْتِ فِي ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلثَّالِثِ، أَيْ شَهْرِ سِيوَانَ، فِي ٱلثَّالِثِ وَٱلْعِشْرِينَ مِنْهُ، وَكُتِبَ حَسَبَ كُلِّ مَا أَمَرَ بِهِ مُرْدَخَايُ إِلَى ٱلْيَهُودِ وَإِلَى ٱلْمَرَازِبَةِ وَٱلْوُلَاةِ وَرُؤَسَاءِ ٱلْبُلْدَانِ ٱلَّتِي مِنَ ٱلْهِنْدِ إِلَى كُوشَ، مِئَةٍ وَسَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ كُورَةً، إِلَى كُلِّ كُورَةٍ بِكِتَابَتِهَا وَكُلِّ شَعْبٍ بِلِسَانِهِ، وَإِلَى ٱلْيَهُودِ بِكِتَابَتِهِمْ وَلِسَانِهِمْ.

and to call: call to scribe [the] king in/on/with time [the] he/she/it in/on/with month [the] third he/she/it month Sivan in/on/with three and twenty in/on/with him and to write like/as all which to command Mordecai to(wards) [the] Jew and to(wards) [the] satrap and [the] governor and ruler [the] province which from India and till Ethiopia seven and twenty and hundred province province and province like/as writing her and people and people like/as tongue: language his and to(wards) [the] Jew like/as writing their and like/as tongue: language their

١٠ 10 فَكَتَبَ بِٱسْمِ ٱلْمَلِكِ أَحَشْوِيرُوشَ وَخَتَمَ بِخَاتِمِ ٱلْمَلِكِ، وَأَرْسَلَ رَسَائِلَ بِأَيْدِي بَرِيدِ ٱلْخَيْلِ رُكَّابِ ٱلْجِيَادِ وَٱلْبِغَالِ بَنِي الرَّمَكِ،

and to write in/on/with name [the] king Ahasuerus and to seal in/on/with ring [the] king and to send: depart scroll: document in/on/with hand: by [the] to run: run in/on/with horse to ride [the] steed [the] steed son: young animal [the] mare

١١ 11 ٱلَّتِي بِهَا أَعْطَى ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْيَهُودَ فِي مَدِينَةٍ فَمَدِينَةٍ أَنْ يَجْتَمِعُوا وَيَقِفُوا لِأَجْلِ أَنْفُسِهِمْ، وَيُهْلِكُوا وَيَقْتُلُوا وَيُبِيدُوا قُوَّةَ كُلِّ شَعْبٍ وَكُورَةٍ تُضَادُّهُمْ حَتَّى ٱلْأَطْفَالَ وَٱلنِّسَاءَ، وَأَنْ يَسْلُبُوا غَنِيمَتَهُمْ،

١٢ 12 فِي يَوْمٍ وَاحِدٍ فِي كُلِّ كُوَرِ ٱلْمَلِكِ أَحَشْوِيرُوشَ، فِي ٱلثَّالِثَ عَشَرَ مِنَ ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلثَّانِي عَشَرَ، أَيْ شَهْرِ أَذَارَ.

١٣ 13 صُورَةُ ٱلْكِتَابَةِ ٱلْمُعْطَاةِ سُنَّةً فِي كُلِّ ٱلْبُلْدَانِ، أُشْهِرَتْ عَلَى جَمِيعِ ٱلشُّعُوبِ أَنْ يَكُونَ ٱلْيَهُودُ مُسْتَعِدِّينَ لِهَذَا ٱلْيَوْمِ لِيَنْتَقِمُوا مِنْ أَعْدَائِهِمْ.

١٤ 14 فَخَرَجَ ٱلبَرِيدُ رُكَّابُ ٱلْجِيَادِ وَٱلْبِغَالِ وَأَمْرُ ٱلْمَلِكِ يَحِثُّهُمْ وَيُعَجِّلُهُمْ، وَأُعْطِيَ ٱلْأَمْرُ فِي شُوشَنَ ٱلْقَصْرِ.

١٥ 15 وَخَرَجَ مُرْدَخَايُ مِنْ أَمَامِ ٱلْمَلِكِ بِلِبَاسٍ مَلِكِيٍّ أَسْمَانْجُونِيٍّ وَأَبْيَضَ، وَتَاجٌ عَظِيمٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، وَحُلَّةٌ مِنْ بَزٍّ وَأُرْجُوَانٍ. وَكَانَتْ مَدِينَةُ شُوشَنَ مُتَهَلِّلَةً وَفَرِحَةً.

١٦ 16 وَكَانَ لِلْيَهُودِ نُورٌ وَفَرَحٌ وَبَهْجَةٌ وَكَرَامَةٌ.

١٧ 17 وَفِي كُلِّ بِلَادٍ وَمَدِينَةٍ، كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَصَلَ إِلَيْهِ كَلَامُ ٱلْمَلِكِ وَأَمْرُهُ، كَانَ فَرَحٌ وَبَهْجَةٌ عِنْدَ ٱلْيَهُودِ وَوَلَائِمُ وَيَوْمٌ طَيِّبٌ. وَكَثِيرُونَ مِنْ شُعُوبِ ٱلْأَرْضِ تَهَوَّدُوا لِأَنَّ رُعْبَ ٱلْيَهُودِ وَقَعَ عَلَيْهِمْ.
