اَلْجَامِعَةِ 7
| اَلصِّيتُ خَيْرٌ مِنَ ٱلدُّهْنِ ٱلطَّيِّبِ، وَيَوْمُ ٱلْمَمَاتِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ يَوْمِ ٱلْوِلَادَةِ. | ١ 1 |
[is] good A name more than ointment good and [the] day of death more than [the] day of being born he.
| اَلذَّهَابُ إِلَى بَيْتِ ٱلنَّوْحِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ ٱلذَّهَابِ إِلَى بَيْتِ ٱلْوَلِيمَةِ، لِأَنَّ ذَاكَ نِهَايَةُ كُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ، وَٱلْحَيُّ يَضَعُهُ فِي قَلْبِهِ. | ٢ 2 |
[is] good To go to a house of mourning more than to go to a house of a feast in that this [is] [the] end of every person and the living person he will give to heart his.
| اَلْحُزْنُ خَيْرٌ مِنَ ٱلضَّحِكِ، لِأَنَّهُ بِكَآبَةِ ٱلْوَجْهِ يُصْلَحُ ٱلْقَلْبُ. | ٣ 3 |
[is] good Vexation more than laughter for by sadness of face it will be good a heart.
| قَلْبُ ٱلْحُكَمَاءِ فِي بَيْتِ ٱلنَّوْحِ، وَقَلْبُ ٱلْجُهَّالِ فِي بَيْتِ ٱلْفَرَحِ. | ٤ 4 |
[the] heart of Wise people [is] in a house of mourning and [the] heart of fools [is] in a house of gladness.
| سَمْعُ ٱلِٱنْتِهَارِ مِنَ ٱلْحَكِيمِ خَيْرٌ لِلْإِنْسَانِ مِنْ سَمْعِ غِنَاءِ ٱلْجُهَّالِ، | ٥ 5 |
[is] good To listen to [the] rebuke of a wise [person] more than someone [who] listens to [the] song of fools.
| لِأَنَّهُ كَصَوْتِ ٱلشَّوْكِ تَحْتَ ٱلْقِدْرِ هَكَذَا ضَحِكُ ٱلْجُهَّالِ. هَذَا أَيْضًا بَاطِلٌ. | ٦ 6 |
For like [the] sound of thorns under the pot so [the] laughter of the fool and also this [is] futility.
| لِأَنَّ ٱلظُّلْمَ يُحَمِّقُ ٱلْحَكِيمَ، وَٱلْعَطِيَّةَ تُفْسِدُ ٱلْقَلْبَ. | ٧ 7 |
For oppression it will make look foolish a wise [person] so it may destroy a heart a bribe.
| نِهَايَةُ أَمْرٍ خَيْرٌ مِنْ بَدَايَتِهِ. طُولُ ٱلرُّوحِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ تَكَبُّرِ ٱلرُّوحِ. | ٨ 8 |
[is] good [the] end of A matter more than beginning its [is] good a [person] patient of spirit more than a [person] proud of spirit.
| لَا تُسْرِعْ بِرُوحِكَ إِلَى ٱلْغَضَبِ، لِأَنَّ ٱلْغَضَبَ يَسْتَقِرُّ فِي حِضْنِ ٱلْجُهَّالِ. | ٩ 9 |
May not you be hasty in spirit your to become angry for anger in [the] bosom of fools it settles.
| لَا تَقُلْ: «لِمَاذَا كَانَتِ ٱلْأَيَّامُ ٱلْأُولَى خَيْرًا مِنْ هَذِهِ؟» لِأَنَّهُ لَيْسَ عَنْ حِكْمَةٍ تَسْأَلُ عَنْ هَذَا. | ١٠ 10 |
May not you say why? was it that the days former they were good more than these for not from wisdom you have asked on this.
| اَلْحِكْمَةُ صَالِحَةٌ مِثْلُ ٱلْمِيرَاثِ، بَلْ أَفْضَلُ لِنَاظِرِي ٱلشَّمْسِ. | ١١ 11 |
[is] good Wisdom with an inheritance and [is] an advantage to [those who] see the sun.
| لِأَنَّ ٱلَّذِي فِي ظِلِّ ٱلْحِكْمَةِ هُوَ فِي ظِلِّ ٱلْفِضَّةِ، وَفَضْلُ ٱلْمَعْرِفَةِ هُوَ إِنَّ ٱلْحِكْمَةَ تُحْيِي أَصْحَابَهَا. | ١٢ 12 |
For [is] a shade wisdom [is] a shade money and [the] advantage of knowledge wisdom it preserves alive owners its.
| اُنْظُرْ عَمَلَ ٱللهِ: لِأَنَّهُ مَنْ يَقْدِرُ عَلَى تَقْوِيمِ مَا قَدْ عَوَّجَهُ؟ | ١٣ 13 |
Consider [the] work of God for who? is he able to straighten [that] which he has bent it.
| فِي يَوْمِ ٱلْخَيْرِ كُنْ بِخَيْرٍ، وَفِي يَوْمِ ٱلشَّرِّ ٱعْتَبِرْ. إِنَّ ٱللهَ جَعَلَ هَذَا مَعَ ذَاكَ، لِكَيْلَا يَجِدَ ٱلْإِنْسَانُ شَيْئًا بَعْدَهُ. | ١٤ 14 |
On a day of good be in good and on a day of adversity consider also this exactly as this he has made God on reason that not he will find out humankind after him anything.
| قَدْ رَأَيْتُ ٱلْكُلَّ فِي أَيَّامِ بُطْلِي: قَدْ يَكُونُ بَارٌّ يَبِيدُ فِي بِرِّهِ، وَقَدْ يَكُونُ شِرِّيرٌ يَطُولُ فِي شَرِّهِ. | ١٥ 15 |
Everything I have seen in [the] days of futility my there [is] a righteous [person] [who] perishes in righteousness his and there [is] a wicked [person] [who] prolongs in evil his.
| لَا تَكُنْ بَارًّا كَثِيرًا، وَلَا تَكُنْ حَكِيمًا بِزِيَادَةٍ. لِمَاذَا تَخْرِبُ نَفْسَكَ؟ | ١٦ 16 |
May not you be righteous greatly and may not you make yourself wise excess why? will you destroy yourself.
| لَا تَكُنْ شِرِّيرًا كَثِيرًا، وَلَا تَكُنْ جَاهِلًا. لِمَاذَا تَمُوتُ فِي غَيْرِ وَقْتِكَ؟ | ١٧ 17 |
May not you be wicked greatly and may not you be a fool why? will you die at not time your.
| حَسَنٌ أَنْ تَتَمَسَّكَ بِهَذَا، وَأَيْضًا أَنْ لَا تَرْخِيَ يَدَكَ عَنْ ذَاكَ، لِأَنَّ مُتَّقِيَ ٱللهِ يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا كِلَيْهِمَا. | ١٨ 18 |
[is] good That you will take hold on this and also from this may not you give rest to hand your for [one] fearing God he will go out all of them.
| اَلْحِكْمَةُ تُقَوِّي ٱلْحَكِيمَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ عَشَرَةِ مُسَلَّطِينَ، ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي ٱلْمَدِينَةِ. | ١٩ 19 |
Wisdom it gives strength to the wise [person] more than ten rulers who they are in the city.
| لِأَنَّهُ لَا إِنْسَانٌ صِدِّيقٌ فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ يَعْمَلُ صَلَاحًا وَلَا يُخْطِئُ. | ٢٠ 20 |
For a person there not [is] righteous [person] on the earth who he does good and not he sins.
| أَيْضًا لَا تَضَعْ قَلْبَكَ عَلَى كُلِّ ٱلْكَلَامِ ٱلَّذِي يُقَالُ، لِئَلَّا تَسْمَعَ عَبْدَكَ يَسِبُّكَ. | ٢١ 21 |
Also to all the words which people speak may not you give heart your that not you will hear servant your cursing you.
| لِأَنَّ قَلْبَكَ أَيْضًا يَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ كَذَلِكَ مِرَارًا كَثِيرَةً سَبَبْتَ آخَرِينَ. | ٢٢ 22 |
For also times many it knows heart your that also (you *QK) you have cursed others.
| كُلُّ هَذَا ٱمْتَحَنْتُهُ بِٱلْحِكْمَةِ. قُلْتُ: «أَكُونُ حَكِيمًا». أَمَّا هِيَ فَبَعِيدَةٌ عَنِّي. | ٢٣ 23 |
All this I have put to [the] test by wisdom I said let me be wise and it [was] far from me.
| بَعِيدٌ مَا كَانَ بَعِيدًا، وَٱلْعَمِيقُ ٱلْعَمِيقُ مَنْ يَجِدُهُ؟ | ٢٤ 24 |
[is] far away Whatever [that] which has been and deep - deep who? will he find out it.
| دُرْتُ أَنَا وَقَلْبِي لِأَعْلَمَ وَلِأَبْحَثَ وَلِأَطْلُبَ حِكْمَةً وَعَقْلًا، وَلِأَعْرِفَ ٱلشَّرَّ أَنَّهُ جَهَالَةٌ، وَٱلْحَمَاقَةَ أَنَّهَا جُنُونٌ. | ٢٥ 25 |
I turned I heart my to know and to examine and to seek wisdom and an explanation and to know wickedness stupidity and the folly madness.
| فَوَجَدْتُ أَمَرَّ مِنَ ٱلْمَوْتِ: ٱلْمَرْأَةَ ٱلَّتِي هِيَ شِبَاكٌ، وَقَلْبُهَا أَشْرَاكٌ، وَيَدَاهَا قُيُودٌ. ٱلصَّالِحُ قُدَّامَ ٱللهِ يَنْجُو مِنْهَا. أَمَّا ٱلْخَاطِئُ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِهَا. | ٢٦ 26 |
And [was] finding I bitter more than death the woman who she [is] snares and [is] nets heart her [are] fetters hands her a [person] good before God he escapes from her and a sinner he is captured by her.
| اُنْظُرْ. هَذَا وَجَدْتُهُ، قَالَ ٱلْجَامِعَةُ: وَاحِدَةً فَوَاحِدَةً لِأَجِدَ ٱلنَّتِيجَةَ | ٢٧ 27 |
Consider this I have found she said Teacher one to one to find an explanation.
| ٱلَّتِي لَمْ تَزَلْ نَفْسِي تَطْلُبُهَا فَلَمْ أَجِدْهَا. رَجُلًا وَاحِدًا بَيْنَ أَلْفٍ وَجَدْتُ، أَمَّا ٱمْرَأَةً فَبَيْنَ كُلِّ أُولَئِكَ لَمْ أَجِدْ! | ٢٨ 28 |
Which again it has sought self my and not I have found a man one of a thousand I have found and a woman among all these not I have found.
| اُنْظُرْ. هَذَا وَجَدْتُ فَقَطْ: أَنَّ ٱللهَ صَنَعَ ٱلْإِنْسَانَ مُسْتَقِيمًا، أَمَّا هُمْ فَطَلَبُوا ٱخْتِرَاعَاتٍ كَثِيرَةً. | ٢٩ 29 |
Only consider this I have found that he made God humankind upright and they they have sought schemes many.
