اَلتَّثْنِيَة 22
| «لَا تَنْظُرْ ثَوْرَ أَخِيكَ أَوْ شَاتَهُ شَارِدًا وَتَتَغَاضَى عَنْهُ، بَلْ تَرُدُّهُ إِلَى أَخِيكَ لَا مَحَالَةَ. | ١ 1 |
not to see: see [obj] cattle brother: compatriot your or [obj] sheep his to banish and to conceal from them to return: return to return: return them to/for brother: compatriot your
| وَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ أَخُوكَ قَرِيبًا مِنْكَ أَوْ لَمْ تَعْرِفْهُ، فَضُمَّهُ إِلَى دَاخِلِ بَيْتِكَ. وَيَكُونُ عِنْدَكَ حَتَّى يَطْلُبَهُ أَخُوكَ، حِينَئِذٍ تَرُدُّهُ إِلَيْهِ. | ٢ 2 |
and if not near brother: compatriot your to(wards) you and not to know him and to gather him to(wards) midst house: home your and to be with you till to seek brother: compatriot your [obj] him and to return: rescue him to/for him
| وَهَكَذَا تَفْعَلُ بِحِمَارِهِ، وَهَكَذَا تَفْعَلُ بِثِيَابِهِ، وَهَكَذَا تَفْعَلُ بِكُلِّ مَفْقُودٍ لِأَخِيكَ يُفْقَدُ مِنْهُ وَتَجِدُهُ. لَا يَحِلُّ لَكَ أَنْ تَتَغَاضَى. | ٣ 3 |
and so to make: do to/for donkey his and so to make: do to/for mantle his and so to make: do to/for all something lost brother: compatriot your which to perish from him and to find her not be able to/for to conceal
| لَا تَنْظُرْ حِمَارَ أَخِيكَ أَوْ ثَوْرَهُ وَاقِعًا فِي ٱلطَّرِيقِ وَتَتَغَافَلُ عَنْهُ بَلْ تُقِيمُهُ مَعَهُ لَا مَحَالَةَ. | ٤ 4 |
not to see: see [obj] donkey brother: compatriot your or cattle his to fall: kill in/on/with way: road and to conceal from them to arise: raise to arise: raise with him
| «لَا يَكُنْ مَتَاعُ رَجُلٍ عَلَى ٱمْرَأَةٍ، وَلَا يَلْبَسْ رَجُلٌ ثَوْبَ ٱمْرَأَةٍ، لِأَنَّ كُلَّ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ ذَلِكَ مَكْرُوهٌ لَدَى ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ. | ٥ 5 |
not to be article/utensil great man upon woman and not to clothe great man mantle woman for abomination LORD God your all to make: do these
| «إِذَا ٱتَّفَقَ قُدَّامَكَ عُشُّ طَائِرٍ فِي ٱلطَّرِيقِ فِي شَجَرَةٍ مَّا أَوْ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ، فِيهِ فِرَاخٌ أَوْ بَيْضٌ، وَٱلْأُمُّ حَاضِنَةٌ ٱلْفِرَاخَ أَوِ ٱلْبَيْضَ، فَلَا تَأْخُذِ ٱلْأُمَّ مَعَ ٱلْأَوْلَادِ. | ٦ 6 |
for to encounter: chanced nest bird to/for face: before your in/on/with way: journey in/on/with all tree or upon [the] land: soil young or egg and [the] mother to stretch upon [the] young or upon [the] egg not to take: take [the] mother upon [the] son: young animal
| أَطْلِقِ ٱلْأُمَّ وَخُذْ لِنَفْسِكَ ٱلْأَوْلَادَ، لِكَيْ يَكُونَ لَكَ خَيْرٌ وَتُطِيلَ ٱلْأَيَّامَ. | ٧ 7 |
to send: let go to send: let go [obj] [the] mother and [obj] [the] son: young animal to take: take to/for you because be good to/for you and to prolong day: always
| «إِذَا بَنَيْتَ بَيْتًا جَدِيدًا، فَٱعْمَلْ حَائِطًا لِسَطْحِكَ لِئَلَّا تَجْلِبَ دَمًا عَلَى بَيْتِكَ إِذَا سَقَطَ عَنْهُ سَاقِطٌ. | ٨ 8 |
for to build house: home new and to make parapet to/for roof your and not to set: put blood in/on/with house: home your for to fall: fall [the] to fall: fall from him
| «لَا تَزْرَعْ حَقْلَكَ صِنْفَيْنِ، لِئَلَّا يَتَقَدَّسَ ٱلْمِلْءُ: ٱلزَّرْعُ ٱلَّذِي تَزْرَعُ وَمَحْصُولُ ٱلْحَقْلِ. | ٩ 9 |
not to sow vineyard your mixture lest to consecrate: forfeit [the] fruit [the] seed which to sow and produce [the] vineyard
| لَا تَحْرُثْ عَلَى ثَوْرٍ وَحِمَارٍ مَعًا. | ١٠ 10 |
not to plow/plot in/on/with cattle and in/on/with donkey together
| لَا تَلْبَسْ ثَوْبًا مُخْتَلَطًا صُوفًا وَكَتَّانًا مَعًا. | ١١ 11 |
not to clothe mixed stuff wool and flax together
| «اِعْمَلْ لِنَفْسِكَ جَدَائِلَ عَلَى أَرْبَعَةِ أَطْرَافِ ثَوْبِكَ ٱلَّذِي تَتَغَطَّى بِهِ. | ١٢ 12 |
tassel to make to/for you upon four wing covering your which to cover in/on/with her
| «إِذَا ٱتَّخَذَ رَجُلٌ ٱمْرَأَةً وَحِينَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا أَبْغَضَهَا، | ١٣ 13 |
for to take: take man woman: wife and to come (in): come to(wards) her and to hate her
| وَنَسَبَ إِلَيْهَا أَسْبَابَ كَلَامٍ، وَأَشَاعَ عَنْهَا ٱسْمًا رَدِيًّا، وَقَالَ: هَذِهِ ٱلْمَرْأَةُ ٱتَّخَذْتُهَا وَلَمَّا دَنَوْتُ مِنْهَا لَمْ أَجِدْ لَهَا عُذْرَةً. | ١٤ 14 |
and to set: accuse to/for her wantonness word: case and to come out: send upon her name bad: harmful and to say [obj] [the] woman [the] this to take: marry and to present: come to(wards) her and not to find to/for her virginity
| يَأْخُذُ ٱلْفَتَاةَ أَبُوهَا وَأُمُّهَا وَيُخْرِجَانِ عَلَامَةَ عُذْرَتِهَا إِلَى شُيُوخِ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ إِلَى ٱلْبَابِ، | ١٥ 15 |
and to take: take father ([the] maiden *Qk) and mother her and to come out: send [obj] virginity ([the] maiden *Qk) to(wards) old: elder [the] city [the] gate [to]
| وَيَقُولُ أَبُو ٱلْفَتَاةِ لِلشُّيُوخِ: أَعْطَيْتُ هَذَا ٱلرَّجُلَ ٱبْنَتِي زَوْجَةً فَأَبْغَضَهَا. | ١٦ 16 |
and to say father ([the] maiden *Qk) to(wards) [the] old: elder [obj] daughter my to give: give(marriage) to/for man [the] this to/for woman: wife and to hate her
| وَهَا هُوَ قَدْ جَعَلَ أَسْبَابَ كَلَامٍ قَائِلًا: لَمْ أَجِدْ لِبِنْتِكَ عُذْرَةً. وَهَذِهِ عَلَامَةُ عُذْرَةِ ٱبْنَتِي. وَيَبْسُطَانِ ٱلثَّوْبَ أَمَامَ شُيُوخِ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ. | ١٧ 17 |
and behold he/she/it to set: accuse wantonness word: case to/for to say not to find to/for daughter your virginity and these virginity daughter my and to spread [the] mantle to/for face: before old: elder [the] city
| فَيَأْخُذُ شُيُوخُ تِلْكَ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ ٱلرَّجُلَ وَيُؤَدِّبُونَهُ | ١٨ 18 |

| وَيُغْرِمُونَهُ بِمِئَةٍ مِنَ ٱلْفِضَّةِ، وَيُعْطُونَهَا لِأَبِي ٱلْفَتَاةِ، لِأَنَّهُ أَشَاعَ ٱسْمًا رَدِيًّا عَنْ عَذْرَاءَ مِنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ. فَتَكُونُ لَهُ زَوْجَةً. لَا يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يُطَلِّقَهَا كُلَّ أَيَّامِهِ. | ١٩ 19 |

| «وَلَكِنْ إِنْ كَانَ هَذَا ٱلْأَمْرُ صَحِيحًا، لَمْ تُوجَدْ عُذْرَةٌ لِلْفَتَاةِ. | ٢٠ 20 |
and if truth: true to be [the] word: thing [the] this not to find virginity (to/for maiden *Qk)
| يُخْرِجُونَ ٱلْفَتَاةَ إِلَى بَابِ بَيْتِ أَبِيهَا، وَيَرْجُمُهَا رِجَالُ مَدِينَتِهَا بِٱلْحِجَارَةِ حَتَّى تَمُوتَ، لِأَنَّهَا عَمِلَتْ قَبَاحَةً فِي إِسْرَائِيلَ بِزِنَاهَا فِي بَيْتِ أَبِيهَا. فَتَنْزِعُ ٱلشَّرَّ مِنْ وَسَطِكَ. | ٢١ 21 |
and to come out: send [obj] ([the] maiden *Qk) to(wards) entrance house: home father her and to stone her human city her in/on/with stone and to die for to make: do folly in/on/with Israel to/for to fornicate house: home father her and to burn: purge [the] bad: evil from entrails: among your
| «إِذَا وُجِدَ رَجُلٌ مُضْطَجِعًا مَعَ ٱمْرَأَةٍ زَوْجَةِ بَعْلٍ، يُقْتَلُ ٱلِٱثْنَانِ: ٱلرَّجُلُ ٱلْمُضْطَجِعُ مَعَ ٱلْمَرْأَةِ، وَٱلْمَرْأَةُ. فَتَنْزِعُ ٱلشَّرَّ مِنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ. | ٢٢ 22 |
for to find man to lie down: have sex with woman: wife rule: to marry master: husband and to die also two their [the] man [the] to lie down: have sex with [the] woman and [the] woman and to burn: purge [the] bad: evil from Israel
| «إِذَا كَانَتْ فَتَاةٌ عَذْرَاءُ مَخْطُوبَةً لِرَجُلٍ، فَوَجَدَهَا رَجُلٌ فِي ٱلْمَدِينَةِ وَٱضْطَجَعَ مَعَهَا، | ٢٣ 23 |
for to be (maiden *Qk) virgin to betroth to/for man and to find her man in/on/with city and to lie down: have sex with her
| فَأَخْرِجُوهُمَا كِلَيْهِمَا إِلَى بَابِ تِلْكَ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ وَٱرْجُمُوهُمَا بِٱلْحِجَارَةِ حَتَّى يَمُوتَا. ٱلْفَتَاةُ مِنْ أَجْلِ أَنَّهَا لَمْ تَصْرُخْ فِي ٱلْمَدِينَةِ، وَٱلرَّجُلُ مِنْ أَجْلِ أَنَّهُ أَذَلَّ ٱمْرَأَةَ صَاحِبِهِ. فَتَنْزِعُ ٱلشَّرَّ مِنْ وَسَطِكَ. | ٢٤ 24 |
and to come out: send [obj] two their to(wards) gate [the] city [the] he/she/it and to stone [obj] them in/on/with stone and to die [obj] ([the] maiden *Qk) upon word: case which not to cry in/on/with city and [obj] [the] man upon word: case which to afflict [obj] woman: wife neighbor his and to burn: purge [the] bad: evil from entrails: among your
| وَلَكِنْ إِنْ وَجَدَ ٱلرَّجُلُ ٱلْفَتَاةَ ٱلْمَخْطُوبَةَ فِي ٱلْحَقْلِ وَأَمْسَكَهَا ٱلرَّجُلُ وَٱضْطَجَعَ مَعَهَا، يَمُوتُ ٱلرَّجُلُ ٱلَّذِي ٱضْطَجَعَ مَعَهَا وَحْدَهُ. | ٢٥ 25 |
and if in/on/with land: country to find [the] man [obj] ([the] maiden *Qk) [the] to betroth and to strengthen: hold in/on/with her [the] man and to lie down: have sex with her and to die [the] man which to lie down: have sex with her to/for alone him
| وَأَمَّا ٱلْفَتَاةُ فَلَا تَفْعَلْ بِهَا شَيْئًا. لَيْسَ عَلَى ٱلْفَتَاةِ خَطِيَّةٌ لِلْمَوْتِ، بَلْ كَمَا يَقُومُ رَجُلٌ عَلَى صَاحِبِهِ وَيَقْتُلُهُ قَتْلًا. هَكَذَا هَذَا ٱلْأَمْرُ. | ٢٦ 26 |

| إِنَّهُ فِي ٱلْحَقْلِ وَجَدَهَا، فَصَرَخَتِ ٱلْفَتَاةُ ٱلْمَخْطُوبَةُ فَلَمْ يَكُنْ مَنْ يُخَلِّصُهَا. | ٢٧ 27 |

| «إِذَا وَجَدَ رَجُلٌ فَتَاةً عَذْرَاءَ غَيْرَ مَخْطُوبَةٍ، فَأَمْسَكَهَا وَٱضْطَجَعَ مَعَهَا، فَوُجِدَا. | ٢٨ 28 |
for to find man (maiden *Qk) virgin which not to betroth and to capture her and to lie down: have sex with her and to find
| يُعْطِي ٱلرَّجُلُ ٱلَّذِي ٱضْطَجَعَ مَعَهَا لِأَبِي ٱلْفَتَاةِ خَمْسِينَ مِنَ ٱلْفِضَّةِ، وَتَكُونُ هِيَ لَهُ زَوْجَةً مِنْ أَجْلِ أَنَّهُ قَدْ أَذَلَّهَا. لَا يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يُطَلِّقَهَا كُلَّ أَيَّامِهِ. | ٢٩ 29 |

| «لَا يَتَّخِذْ رَجُلٌ ٱمْرَأَةَ أَبِيهِ، وَلَا يَكْشِفْ ذَيْلَ أَبِيهِ. | ٣٠ 30 |
