اَلتَّثْنِيَة 13

١ 1 «إِذَا قَامَ فِي وَسَطِكَ نَبِيٌّ أَوْ حَالِمٌ حُلْمًا، وَأَعْطَاكَ آيَةً أَوْ أُعْجُوبَةً،

for to arise: rise in/on/with entrails: among your prophet or to dream dream and to give: give to(wards) you sign: miraculous or wonder

٢ 2 وَلَوْ حَدَثَتِ ٱلْآيَةُ أَوِ ٱلْأُعْجُوبَةُ ٱلَّتِي كَلَّمَكَ عَنْهَا قَائِلًا: لِنَذْهَبْ وَرَاءَ آلِهَةٍ أُخْرَى لَمْ تَعْرِفْهَا وَنَعْبُدْهَا،

and to come (in): come [the] sign: miraculous and [the] wonder which to speak: speak to(wards) you to/for to say to go: follow after God another which not to know them and to serve: minister them

٣ 3 فَلَا تَسْمَعْ لِكَلَامِ ذَلِكَ ٱلنَّبِيِّ أَوِ ٱلْحَالِمِ ذَلِكَ ٱلْحُلْمَ، لِأَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ إِلَهَكُمْ يَمْتَحِنُكُمْ لِكَيْ يَعْلَمَ هَلْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلرَّبَّ إِلَهَكُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ قُلُوبِكُمْ وَمِنْ كُلِّ أَنْفُسِكُمْ.

not to hear: hear to(wards) word [the] prophet [the] he/she/it or to(wards) to dream [the] dream [the] he/she/it for to test LORD God your [obj] you to/for to know there you to love: lover [obj] LORD God your in/on/with all heart your and in/on/with all soul your

٤ 4 وَرَاءَ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ تَسِيرُونَ، وَإِيَّاهُ تَتَّقُونَ، وَوَصَايَاهُ تَحْفَظُونَ، وَصَوْتَهُ تَسْمَعُونَ، وَإِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ، وَبِهِ تَلْتَصِقُونَ.

after LORD God your to go: walk and [obj] him to fear: revere and [obj] commandment his to keep: obey and in/on/with voice his to hear: obey and [obj] him to serve: minister and in/on/with him to cleave [emph?]

٥ 5 وَذَلِكَ ٱلنَّبِيُّ أَوِ ٱلْحَالِمُ ذَلِكَ ٱلْحُلْمَ يُقْتَلُ، لِأَنَّهُ تَكَلَّمَ بِٱلزَّيْغِ مِنْ وَرَاءِ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمُ ٱلَّذِي أَخْرَجَكُمْ مِنْ أَرْضِ مِصْرَ، وَفَدَاكُمْ مِنْ بَيْتِ ٱلْعُبُودِيَّةِ، لِكَيْ يُطَوِّحَكُمْ عَنِ ٱلطَّرِيقِ ٱلَّتِي أَمَرَكُمُ ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ أَنْ تَسْلُكُوا فِيهَا. فَتَنْزِعُونَ ٱلشَّرَّ مِنْ بَيْنِكُمْ.

٦ 6 «وَإِذَا أَغْوَاكَ سِرًّا أَخُوكَ ٱبْنُ أُمِّكَ، أَوِ ٱبْنُكَ أَوِ ٱبْنَتُكَ أَوِ ٱمْرَأَةُ حِضْنِكَ، أَوْ صَاحِبُكَ ٱلَّذِي مِثْلُ نَفْسِكَ قَائِلًا: نَذْهَبُ وَنَعْبُدُ آلِهَةً أُخْرَى لَمْ تَعْرِفْهَا أَنْتَ وَلَا آبَاؤُكَ

for to incite you brother: male-sibling your son: child mother your or son: child your or daughter your or woman: wife bosom: embrace your or neighbor your which like/as soul your in/on/with secrecy to/for to say to go: went and to serve: minister God another which not to know you(m. s.) and father your

٧ 7 مِنْ آلِهَةِ ٱلشُّعُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ حَوْلَكَ، ٱلْقَرِيبِينَ مِنْكَ أَوِ ٱلْبَعِيدِينَ عَنْكَ، مِنْ أَقْصَاءِ ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَى أَقْصَائِهَا،

from God [the] people which around you [the] near to(wards) you or [the] distant from you from end [the] land: country/planet and till end [the] land: country/planet

٨ 8 فَلَا تَرْضَ مِنْهُ وَلَا تَسْمَعْ لَهُ وَلَا تُشْفِقْ عَيْنُكَ عَلَيْهِ، وَلَا تَرِقَّ لَهُ وَلَا تَسْتُرْهُ،

not be willing to/for him and not to hear: hear to(wards) him and not to pity eye your upon him and not to spare and not to cover upon him

٩ 9 بَلْ قَتْلًا تَقْتُلُهُ. يَدُكَ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ أَوَّلًا لِقَتْلِهِ، ثُمَّ أَيْدِي جَمِيعِ ٱلشَّعْبِ أَخِيرًا.

for to kill to kill him hand: power your to be in/on/with him in/on/with first to/for to die him and hand: power all [the] people in/on/with last

١٠ 10 تَرْجُمُهُ بِٱلْحِجَارَةِ حَتَّى يَمُوتَ، لِأَنَّهُ ٱلْتَمَسَ أَنْ يُطَوِّحَكَ عَنِ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ ٱلَّذِي أَخْرَجَكَ مِنْ أَرْضِ مِصْرَ مِنْ بَيْتِ ٱلْعُبُودِيَّةِ.

١١ 11 فَيَسْمَعُ جَمِيعُ إِسْرَائِيلَ وَيَخَافُونَ، وَلَا يَعُودُونَ يَعْمَلُونَ مِثْلَ هَذَا ٱلْأَمْرِ ٱلشِّرِّيرِ فِي وَسَطِكَ.

١٢ 12 «إِنْ سَمِعْتَ عَنْ إِحْدَى مُدُنِكَ ٱلَّتِي يُعْطِيكَ ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ لِتَسْكُنَ فِيهَا قَوْلًا:

١٣ 13 قَدْ خَرَجَ أُنَاسٌ بَنُو لَئِيمٍ مِنْ وَسَطِكَ وَطَوَّحُوا سُكَّانَ مَدِينَتِهِمْ قَائِلِينَ: نَذْهَبُ وَنَعْبُدُ آلِهَةً أُخْرَى لَمْ تَعْرِفُوهَا.

١٤ 14 وَفَحَصْتَ وَفَتَّشْتَ وَسَأَلْتَ جَيِّدًا وَإِذَا ٱلْأَمْرُ صَحِيحٌ وَأَكِيدٌ، قَدْ عُمِلَ ذَلِكَ ٱلرِّجْسُ فِي وَسَطِكَ،

١٥ 15 فَضَرْبًا تَضْرِبُ سُكَّانَ تِلْكَ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ بِحَدِّ ٱلسَّيْفِ، وَتُحَرِّمُهَا بِكُلِّ مَا فِيهَا مَعَ بَهَائِمِهَا بِحَدِّ ٱلسَّيْفِ.

١٦ 16 تَجْمَعُ كُلَّ أَمْتِعَتِهَا إِلَى وَسَطِ سَاحَتِهَا، وَتُحْرِقُ بِٱلنَّارِ ٱلْمَدِينَةَ وَكُلَّ أَمْتِعَتِهَا كَامِلَةً لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ، فَتَكُونُ تَلًّا إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ لَا تُبْنَى بَعْدُ.

١٧ 17 وَلَا يَلْتَصِقْ بِيَدِكَ شَيْءٌ مِنَ ٱلْمُحَرَّمِ، لِكَيْ يَرْجِعَ ٱلرَّبُّ مِنْ حُمُوِّ غَضَبِهِ، وَيُعْطِيَكَ رَحْمَةً. يَرْحَمُكَ وَيُكَثِّرُكَ كَمَا حَلَفَ لِآبَائِكَ،

and not to cleave in/on/with hand your anything from [the] devoted thing because to return: turn back LORD from burning anger face: anger his and to give: give to/for you compassion and to have compassion you and to multiply you like/as as which to swear to/for father your

١٨ 18 إِذَا سَمِعْتَ لِصَوْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ لِتَحْفَظَ جَمِيعَ وَصَايَاهُ ٱلَّتِي أَنَا أُوصِيكَ بِهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ، لِتَعْمَلَ ٱلْحَقَّ فِي عَيْنَيِ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ.
