| وَلَمَّا ٱنْفَصَلْنَا عَنْهُمْ أَقْلَعْنَا وَجِئْنَا مُتَوَجِّهِينَ بِٱلِٱسْتِقَامَةِ إِلَى كُوسَ، وَفِي ٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلتَّالِي إِلَى رُودُسَ، وَمِنْ هُنَاكَ إِلَى بَاتَرَا. | ١ 1 |
as/when then to be to lead me to draw away away from it/s/he to sail straight to come/go toward the/this/who Cos the/this/who then next/afterward toward the/this/who Rhodes and from there toward Patara
| فَإِذْ وَجَدْنَا سَفِينَةً عَابِرَةً إِلَى فِينِيقِيَةَ صَعِدْنَا إِلَيْهَا وَأَقْلَعْنَا. | ٢ 2 |

| ثُمَّ ٱطَّلَعْنَا عَلَى قُبْرُسَ، وَتَرَكْنَاهَا يَسْرَةً وَسَافَرْنَا إِلَى سُورِيَّةَ، وَأَقْبَلْنَا إِلَى صُورَ، لِأَنَّ هُنَاكَ كَانَتِ ٱلسَّفِينَةُ تَضَعُ وَسْقَهَا. | ٣ 3 |
