٢ أخبار 7

١ 1 وَلَمَّا ٱنْتَهَى سُلَيْمَانُ مِنَ ٱلصَّلَاةِ، نَزَلَتِ ٱلنَّارُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاءِ وَأَكَلَتِ ٱلْمُحْرَقَةَ وَٱلذَّبَائِحَ، وَمَلَأَ مَجْدُ ٱلرَّبِّ ٱلْبَيْتَ.

And just as finished Solomon to pray and the fire it came down from the heavens and it consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices and [the] glory of Yahweh it filled the house.

٢ 2 وَلَمْ يَسْتَطِعِ ٱلْكَهَنَةُ أَنْ يَدْخُلُوا بَيْتَ ٱلرَّبِّ لِأَنَّ مَجْدَ ٱلرَّبِّ مَلَأَ بَيْتَ ٱلرَّبِّ.

And not they were able the priests to go into [the] house of Yahweh for it filled [the] glory of Yahweh [the] house of Yahweh.

٣ 3 وَكَانَ جَمِيعُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ يَنْظُرُونَ عِنْدَ نُزُولِ ٱلنَّارِ وَمَجْدِ ٱلرَّبِّ عَلَى ٱلْبَيْتِ، وَخَرُّوا عَلَى وُجُوهِهِمْ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ عَلَى ٱلْبَلَاطِ ٱلْمُجَزَّعِ، وَسَجَدُوا وَحَمَدُوا ٱلرَّبَّ لِأَنَّهُ صَالِحٌ وَإِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتُهُ.

And all - [the] people of Israel [were] seeing when came down the fire and [the] glory of Yahweh [was] over the house and they bowed down face [the] ground towards on the pavement and they bowed down and to give thanks to Yahweh for [he is] good for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.

٤ 4 ثُمَّ إِنَّ ٱلْمَلِكَ وَكُلَّ ٱلشَّعْبِ ذَبَحُوا ذَبَائِحَ أَمَامَ ٱلرَّبِّ.

And the king and all the people [were] sacrificing sacrifice[s] before Yahweh.

٥ 5 وَذَبَحَ ٱلْمَلِكُ سُلَيْمَانُ ذَبَائِحَ مِنَ ٱلْبَقَرِ ٱثْنَيْنِ وَعِشْرِينَ أَلْفًا، وَمِنَ ٱلْغَنَمِ مِئَةً وَعِشْرِينَ أَلْفًا، وَدَشَّنَ ٱلْمَلِكُ وَكُلُّ ٱلشَّعْبِ بَيْتَ ٱللهِ.

And he sacrificed the king Solomon [the] sacrifice of cattle twenty and two thousand and sheep one hundred and twenty thousand and they dedicated [the] house of God the king and all the people.

٦ 6 وَكَانَ ٱلْكَهَنَةُ وَاقِفِينَ عَلَى مَحَارِسِهِمْ، وَٱللَّاوِيُّونَ بِآلَاتِ غِنَاءِ ٱلرَّبِّ ٱلَّتِي عَمِلَهَا دَاوُدُ ٱلْمَلِكُ لِأَجْلِ حَمْدِ ٱلرَّبِّ «لِأَنَّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ رَحْمَتَهُ» حِينَ سَبَّحَ دَاوُدُ بِهَا، وَٱلْكَهَنَةُ يَنْفُخُونَ فِي ٱلْأَبْوَاقِ مُقَابِلَهُمْ، وَكُلُّ إِسْرَائِيلَ وَاقِفٌ.

And the priests on duties their [were] standing and the Levites with [the] instruments of song of Yahweh which he had made David the king to give thanks to Yahweh for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his when praised David by hand their and the priests ([were] blowing a trumpet *Qk) before them and all Israel [were] standing.

٧ 7 وَقَدَّسَ سُلَيْمَانُ وَسَطَ ٱلدَّارِ ٱلَّتِي أَمَامَ بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ، لِأَنَّهُ قَرَّبَ هُنَاكَ ٱلْمُحْرَقَاتِ وَشَحْمَ ذَبَائِحِ ٱلسَّلَامَةِ، لِأَنَّ مَذْبَحَ ٱلنُّحَاسِ ٱلَّذِي عَمِلَهُ سُلَيْمَانُ لَمْ يَكْفِ لِأَنْ يَسَعَ ٱلْمُحْرَقَاتِ وَٱلتَّقْدِمَاتِ وَٱلشَّحْمَ.

And he consecrated Solomon [the] middle of the courtyard which [was] before [the] house of Yahweh for he offered there the burnt offerings and [the] fat of the peace offerings for [the] altar of bronze which he had made Solomon not it was able to contain the burnt offering and the grain offering and the fat.

٨ 8 وَعَيَّدَ سُلَيْمَانُ ٱلْعِيدَ فِي ذَلِكَ ٱلْوَقْتِ سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ، وَكُلُّ إِسْرَائِيلَ مَعَهُ وَجُمْهُورٌ عَظِيمٌ جِدًّا مِنْ مَدْخَلِ حَمَاةَ إِلَى وَادِي مِصْرَ.

And he observed Solomon the festival at the time that seven days and all Israel [was] with him an assembly great very from Lebo Hamath to [the] wadi of Egypt.

٩ 9 وَعَمِلُوا فِي ٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلثَّامِنِ ٱعْتِكَافًا لِأَنَّهُمْ عَمِلُوا تَدْشِينَ ٱلْمَذْبَحِ سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ، وَٱلْعِيدَ سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ.

And they observed on the day eighth an assembly for - [the] dedication of the altar they had observed seven days and the festival seven days.

١٠ 10 وَفِي ٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلثَّالِثِ وَٱلْعِشْرِينَ مِنَ ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلسَّابِعِ صَرَفَ ٱلشَّعْبَ إِلَى خِيَامِهِمْ فَرِحِينَ وَطَيِّبِي ٱلْقُلُوبِ لِأَجْلِ ٱلْخَيْرِ ٱلَّذِي عَمِلَهُ ٱلرَّبُّ لِدَاوُدَ وَلِسُلَيْمَانَ وَلِإِسْرَائِيلَ شَعْبِهِ.

And on day twenty and three of the month seventh he sent away the people to tents their joyful and good of heart on the good which he had done Yahweh for David and for Solomon and for Israel people his.

١١ 11 وَأَكْمَلَ سُلَيْمَانُ بَيْتَ ٱلرَّبِّ وَبَيْتَ ٱلْمَلِكِ. وَكُلَّ مَا خَطَرَ بِبَالِ سُلَيْمَانَ أَنْ يَعْمَلَهُ فِي بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ وَفِي بَيْتِهِ نَجَحَ فِيهِ.

And he finished Solomon [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of the king and every [thing which] was coming on [the] heart of Solomon to do in [the] house of Yahweh and in own house his he made successful.

١٢ 12 وَتَرَاءَى ٱلرَّبُّ لِسُلَيْمَانَ لَيْلًا وَقَالَ لَهُ: «قَدْ سَمِعْتُ صَلَاتَكَ، وَٱخْتَرْتُ هَذَا ٱلْمَكَانَ لِي بَيْتَ ذَبِيحَةٍ.

And he appeared Yahweh to Solomon in the night and he said to him I have heard prayer your and I have chosen the place this for myself for a house of sacrifice.

١٣ 13 إِنْ أَغْلَقْتُ ٱلسَّمَاءَ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ مَطَرٌ، وَإِنْ أَمَرْتُ ٱلْجَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ ٱلْأَرْضَ، وَإِنْ أَرْسَلْتُ وَبَأً عَلَى شَعْبِي،

Here! I will shut up the heavens and not it will be rain and here! I will command to [the] grasshopper to devour the land and if I will send pestilence among people my.

١٤ 14 فَإِذَا تَوَاضَعَ شَعْبِي ٱلَّذِينَ دُعِيَ ٱسْمِي عَلَيْهِمْ وَصَلَّوْا وَطَلَبُوا وَجْهِي، وَرَجَعُوا عَنْ طُرُقِهِمِ ٱلرَّدِيةِ فَإِنَّنِي أَسْمَعُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاءِ وَأَغْفِرُ خَطِيَّتَهُمْ وَأُبْرِئُ أَرْضَهُمْ.

So they may humble themselves people my which it has been called name my on them so they may pray and they may seek face my so they may turn from ways their wicked and I I will hear from the heavens so I may forgive sin their so I may heal land their.

١٥ 15 اَلْآنَ عَيْنَايَ تَكُونَانِ مَفْتُوحَتَيْنِ، وَأُذُنَايَ مُصْغِيَتَيْنِ إِلَى صَلَاةِ هَذَا ٱلْمَكَانِ.

Now eyes my they will be open and ears my attentive to [the] prayer of the place this.

١٦ 16 وَٱلْآنَ قَدِ ٱخْتَرْتُ وَقَدَّسْتُ هَذَا ٱلْبَيْتَ لِيَكُونَ ٱسْمِي فِيهِ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ، وَتَكُونُ عَيْنَايَ وَقَلْبِي هُنَاكَ كُلَّ ٱلْأَيَّامِ.

And now I have chosen and I have consecrated the house this to be name my there until perpetuity and they will be eyes my and heart my there all the days.

١٧ 17 وَأَنْتَ إِنْ سَلَكْتَ أَمَامِي كَمَا سَلَكَ دَاوُدُ أَبُوكَ، وَعَمِلْتَ حَسَبَ كُلِّ مَا أَمَرْتُكَ بِهِ، وَحَفِظْتَ فَرَائِضِي وَأَحْكَامِي،

And you if you will walk before me just as he walked David father your and to do according to all that I have commanded you and statutes my and judgments my you will observe.

١٨ 18 فَإِنِّي أُثَبِّتُ كُرْسِيَّ مُلْكِكَ كَمَا عَاهَدْتُ دَاوُدَ أَبَاكَ قَائِلًا: لَا يُعْدَمُ لَكَ رَجُلٌ يَتَسَلَّطُ عَلَى إِسْرَائِيلَ.

And I will establish [the] throne of kingdom your just as I made to David father your saying not it will be cut off to you a man [who] rules over Israel.

١٩ 19 وَلَكِنْ إِنِ ٱنْقَلَبْتُمْ وَتَرَكْتُمْ فَرَائِضِي وَوَصَايَايَ ٱلَّتِي جَعَلْتُهَا أَمَامَكُمْ، وَذَهَبْتُمْ وَعَبَدْتُمْ آلِهَةً أُخْرَى وَسَجَدْتُمْ لَهَا،

And if you will turn away! you and you will forsake statutes my and commandments my which I have set before you and you will go and you will serve gods other and you will bow down to them.

٢٠ 20 فَإِنِّي أَقْلَعُهُمْ مِنْ أَرْضِي ٱلَّتِي أَعْطَيْتُهُمْ إِيَّاهَا، وَهَذَا ٱلْبَيْتُ ٱلَّذِي قَدَّسْتُهُ لِٱسْمِي أَطْرَحُهُ مِنْ أَمَامِي وَأَجْعَلُهُ مَثَلًا وَهُزْأَةً فِي جَمِيعِ ٱلشُّعُوبِ.

And I will pluck up them from on land my which I have given to them and the house this which I have consecrated for name my I will throw away from on face my and I will make it into a byword and into a taunt among all the peoples.

٢١ 21 وَهَذَا ٱلْبَيْتُ ٱلَّذِي كَانَ مُرْتَفِعًا، كُلُّ مَنْ يَمُرُّ بِهِ يَتَعَجَّبُ وَيَقُولُ: لِمَاذَا عَمِلَ ٱلرَّبُّ هَكَذَا لِهَذِهِ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلِهَذَا ٱلْبَيْتِ؟

And the house this which it was most high to every [one who] passes by at it he will be appalled and he will say how? did he do Yahweh thus to the land this and to the house this.

٢٢ 22 فَيَقُولُونَ: مِنْ أَجْلِ أَنَّهُمْ تَرَكُوا ٱلرَّبَّ إِلَهَ آبَائِهِمِ ٱلَّذِي أَخْرَجَهُمْ مِنْ أَرْضِ مِصْرَ، وَتَمَسَّكُوا بِآلِهَةٍ أُخْرَى وَسَجَدُوا لَهَا وَعَبَدُوهَا، لِذَلِكَ جَلَبَ عَلَيْهِمْ كُلَّ هَذَا ٱلشَّرِّ».

And people will say on that they forsook Yahweh - [the] God of ancestors their who he brought out them from [the] land of Egypt and they took hold on gods other and they bowed down to them and they served them there-fore he has brought on them all the calamity this.
