١ تيموثاوس 6

١ 1 جَمِيعُ ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَبِيدٌ تَحْتَ نِيرٍ فَلْيَحْسِبُوا سَادَتَهُمْ مُسْتَحِقِّينَ كُلَّ إِكْرَامٍ، لِئَلَّا يُفْتَرَى عَلَى ٱسْمِ ٱللهِ وَتَعْلِيمِهِ.

Let all who are servants under the yoke give all honour to their masters, so that no evil may be said against the name of God and his teaching.

٢ 2 وَٱلَّذِينَ لَهُمْ سَادَةٌ مُؤْمِنُونَ، لَا يَسْتَهِينُوا بِهِمْ لِأَنَّهُمْ إِخْوَةٌ، بَلْ لِيَخْدِمُوهُمْ أَكْثَرَ، لِأَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَشَارَكُونَ فِي ٱلْفَائِدَةِ، هُمْ مُؤْمِنُونَ وَمَحْبُوبُونَ. عَلِّمْ وَعِظْ بِهَذَا.

And let those whose masters are of the faith have respect for them because they are brothers, working for them the more readily, because those who take part in the good work are of the faith and are dear. Give orders and teaching about these things.

٣ 3 إِنْ كَانَ أَحَدٌ يُعَلِّمُ تَعْلِيمًا آخَرَ، وَلَا يُوافِقُ كَلِمَاتِ رَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ ٱلصَّحِيحَةَ، وَٱلتَّعْلِيمَ ٱلَّذِي هُوَ حَسَبَ ٱلتَّقْوَى،

If any man gives different teaching, not in agreement with the true words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the teaching which is in agreement with true religion,

٤ 4 فَقَدْ تَصَلَّفَ، وَهُوَ لَا يَفْهَمُ شَيْئًا، بَلْ هُوَ مُتَعَلِّلٌ بِمُبَاحَثَاتٍ وَمُمَاحَكَاتِ ٱلْكَلَامِ، ٱلَّتِي مِنْهَا يَحْصُلُ ٱلْحَسَدُ وَٱلْخِصَامُ وَٱلِٱفْتِرَاءُ وَٱلظُّنُونُ ٱلرَّدِيَّةُ،

He has an over-high opinion of himself; being without knowledge, having only an unhealthy love of questionings and wars of words, from which come envy, fighting, cruel words, evil thoughts,

٥ 5 وَمُنَازَعَاتُ أُنَاسٍ فَاسِدِي ٱلذِّهْنِ وَعَادِمِي ٱلْحَقِّ، يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّ ٱلتَّقْوَى تِجَارَةٌ. تَجَنَّبْ مِثْلَ هَؤُلَاءِ.

Bitter talk of men who, being evil in mind and dead to what is true, take the faith to be a way of making profit.

٦ 6 وَأَمَّا ٱلتَّقْوَى مَعَ ٱلْقَنَاعَةِ فَهِيَ تِجَارَةٌ عَظِيمَةٌ.

But true faith, with peace of mind, is of great profit:

٧ 7 لِأَنَّنَا لَمْ نَدْخُلِ ٱلْعَالَمَ بِشَيْءٍ، وَوَاضِحٌ أَنَّنَا لَا نَقْدِرُ أَنْ نَخْرُجَ مِنْهُ بِشَيْءٍ.

For we came into the world with nothing, and we are not able to take anything out;

٨ 8 فَإِنْ كَانَ لَنَا قُوتٌ وَكِسْوَةٌ، فَلْنَكْتَفِ بِهِمَا.

But if we have food and a roof over us, let that be enough.

٩ 9 وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا أَغْنِيَاءَ، فَيَسْقُطُونَ فِي تَجْرِبَةٍ وَفَخٍّ وَشَهَوَاتٍ كَثِيرَةٍ غَبِيَّةٍ وَمُضِرَّةٍ، تُغَرِّقُ ٱلنَّاسَ فِي ٱلْعَطَبِ وَٱلْهَلَاكِ.

But those who have a desire for wealth are falling into danger, and are taken as in a net by a number of foolish and damaging desires, through which men are overtaken by death and destruction.

١٠ 10 لِأَنَّ مَحَبَّةَ ٱلْمَالِ أَصْلٌ لِكُلِّ ٱلشُّرُورِ، ٱلَّذِي إِذِ ٱبْتَغَاهُ قَوْمٌ ضَلُّوا عَنِ ٱلْإِيمَانِ، وَطَعَنُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ بِأَوْجَاعٍ كَثِيرَةٍ.

For the love of money is a root of all evil: and some whose hearts were fixed on it have been turned away from the faith, and been wounded with unnumbered sorrows.

١١ 11 وَأَمَّا أَنْتَ يَا إِنْسَانَ ٱللهِ فَٱهْرُبْ مِنْ هَذَا، وَٱتْبَعِ ٱلْبِرَّ وَٱلتَّقْوَى وَٱلْإِيمَانَ وَٱلْمَحَبَّةَ وَٱلصَّبْرَ وَٱلْوَدَاعَةَ.

But you, O man of God, keep yourself from these things, and go after righteousness, religion, faith, love, a quiet mind, gentle behaviour.

١٢ 12 جَاهِدْ جِهَادَ ٱلْإِيمَانِ ٱلْحَسَنَ، وَأَمْسِكْ بِٱلْحَيَاةِ ٱلْأَبَدِيَّةِ ٱلَّتِي إِلَيْهَا دُعِيتَ أَيْضًا، وَٱعْتَرَفْتَ ٱلِٱعْتِرَافَ ٱلْحَسَنَ أَمَامَ شُهُودٍ كَثِيرِينَ. (aiōnios g166)

Be fighting the good fight of the faith; take for yourself the life eternal, for which you were marked out, and of which you gave witness in the eyes of all. (aiōnios g166)

١٣ 13 أُوصِيكَ أَمَامَ ٱللهِ ٱلَّذِي يُحْيِي ٱلْكُلَّ، وَٱلْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ ٱلَّذِي شَهِدَ لَدَى بِيلَاطُسَ ٱلْبُنْطِيِّ بِٱلِٱعْتِرَافِ ٱلْحَسَنِ:

I give you orders before God, the giver of life, and Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate gave witness to the faith,

١٤ 14 أَنْ تَحْفَظَ ٱلْوَصِيَّةَ بِلَا دَنَسٍ وَلَا لَوْمٍ إِلَى ظُهُورِ رَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ ٱلْمَسِيحِ،

To keep the word untouched by evil, clear from all shame, till the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ:

١٥ 15 ٱلَّذِي سَيُبَيِّنُهُ فِي أَوْقَاتِهِ ٱلْمُبَارَكُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْوَحِيدُ: مَلِكُ ٱلْمُلُوكِ وَرَبُّ ٱلْأَرْبَابِ،

Which at the right time he will make clear, who is the eternal and only Ruler, King of kings, and Lord of lords;

١٦ 16 ٱلَّذِي وَحْدَهُ لَهُ عَدَمُ ٱلْمَوْتِ، سَاكِنًا فِي نُورٍ لَا يُدْنَى مِنْهُ، ٱلَّذِي لَمْ يَرَهُ أَحَدٌ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يَرَاهُ، ٱلَّذِي لَهُ ٱلْكَرَامَةُ وَٱلْقُدْرَةُ ٱلْأَبَدِيَّةُ. آمِينَ. (aiōnios g166)

Who only has life for ever, living in light to which no man may come near; whom no man has seen or is able to see: to whom be honour and power for ever. So be it. (aiōnios g166)

١٧ 17 أَوْصِ ٱلْأَغْنِيَاءَ فِي ٱلدَّهْرِ ٱلْحَاضِرِ أَنْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُوا، وَلَا يُلْقُوا رَجَاءَهُمْ عَلَى غَيْرِ يَقِينِيَّةِ ٱلْغِنَى، بَلْ عَلَى ٱللهِ ٱلْحَيِّ ٱلَّذِي يَمْنَحُنَا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ بِغِنًى لِلتَّمَتُّعِ. (aiōn g165)

Give orders to those who have money and goods in this life, not to be lifted up in their minds, or to put their hope in the uncertain chances of wealth, but in God who gives us in full measure all things for our use; (aiōn g165)

١٨ 18 وَأَنْ يَصْنَعُوا صَلَاحًا، وَأَنْ يَكُونُوا أَغْنِيَاءَ فِي أَعْمَالٍ صَالِحَةٍ، وَأَنْ يَكُونُوا أَسْخِيَاءَ فِي ٱلْعَطَاءِ، كُرَمَاءَ فِي ٱلتَّوْزِيعِ،

And to do good, having wealth in good works, being quick to give, taking part with one another;

١٩ 19 مُدَّخِرِينَ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ أَسَاسًا حَسَنًا لِلْمُسْتَقْبِلِ، لِكَيْ يُمْسِكُوا بِٱلْحَيَاةِ ٱلْأَبَدِيَّةِ.

Making ready for themselves a safe place for the time to come, so that the true life may be theirs.

٢٠ 20 يَا تِيمُوثَاوُسُ، ٱحْفَظِ ٱلْوَدِيعَةَ، مُعْرِضًا عَنِ ٱلْكَلَامِ ٱلْبَاطِلِ ٱلدَّنِسِ، وَمُخَالَفَاتِ ٱلْعِلْمِ ٱلْكَاذِبِ ٱلِٱسْمِ،

O Timothy, take good care of that which is given to you, turning away from the wrong and foolish talk and arguments of that knowledge which is falsely so named;

٢١ 21 ٱلَّذِي إِذْ تَظَاهَرَ بِهِ قَوْمٌ زَاغُوا مِنْ جِهَةِ ٱلْإِيمَانِ. اَلنِّعْمَةُ مَعَكَ. آمِينَ.

Through which some, who gave their minds to it, have been turned away from the faith. Grace be with you.
