اَلْمُلُوكِ ٱلْأَوَّلُ 2
| وَلَمَّا قَرُبَتْ أَيَّامُ وَفَاةِ دَاوُدَ أَوْصَى سُلَيْمَانَ ٱبْنَهُ قَائِلًا: | ١ 1 |
and to present: come day David to/for to die and to command [obj] Solomon son: child his to/for to say
| «أَنَا ذَاهِبٌ فِي طَرِيقِ ٱلْأَرْضِ كُلِّهَا، فَتَشَدَّدْ وَكُنْ رَجُلًا. | ٢ 2 |
I to go: went in/on/with way: journey all [the] land: country/planet and to strengthen: strengthen and to be to/for man
| اِحْفَظْ شَعَائِرَ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ، إِذْ تَسِيرُ فِي طُرُقِهِ، وَتَحْفَظُ فَرَائِضَهُ، وَصَايَاهُ وَأَحْكَامَهُ وَشَهَادَاتِهِ، كَمَا هُوَ مَكْتُوبٌ فِي شَرِيعَةِ مُوسَى، لِكَيْ تُفْلِحَ فِي كُلِّ مَا تَفْعَلُ وَحَيْثُمَا تَوَجَّهْتَ. | ٣ 3 |
and to keep: obey [obj] charge LORD God your to/for to go: walk in/on/with way: conduct his to/for to keep: obey statute his commandment his and justice: judgement his and testimony his like/as to write in/on/with instruction Moses because be prudent [obj] all which to make: do and [obj] all which to turn there
| لِكَيْ يُقِيمَ ٱلرَّبُّ كَلَامَهُ ٱلَّذِي تَكَلَّمَ بِهِ عَنِّي قَائِلًا: إِذَا حَفِظَ بَنُوكَ طَرِيقَهُمْ وَسَلَكُوا أَمَامِي بِٱلْأَمَانَةِ مِنْ كُلِّ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَكُلِّ أَنْفُسِهِمْ، قَالَ لَا يُعْدَمُ لَكَ رَجُلٌ عَنْ كُرْسِيِّ إِسْرَائِيلَ. | ٤ 4 |

| وَأَنْتَ أَيْضًا تَعْلَمُ مَا فَعَلَ بِي يُوآبُ ٱبْنُ صَرُويَةَ، مَا فَعَلَ لِرَئِيسَيْ جُيُوشِ إِسْرَائِيلَ: ٱبْنَيْرَ بْنِ نَيْرَ وَعَمَاسَا بْنِ يَثْرٍ، إِذْ قَتَلَهُمَا وَسَفَكَ دَمَ ٱلْحَرْبِ فِي ٱلصُّلْحِ، وَجَعَلَ دَمَ ٱلْحَرْبِ فِي مِنْطَقَتِهِ ٱلَّتِي عَلَى حَقَوَيْهِ وَفِي نَعْلَيْهِ ٱللَّتَيْنِ بِرِجْلَيْهِ. | ٥ 5 |

| فَٱفْعَلْ حَسَبَ حِكْمَتِكَ وَلَا تَدَعْ شَيْبَتَهُ تَنْحَدِرُ بِسَلَامٍ إِلَى ٱلْهَاوِيَةِ. (Sheol h7585) | ٦ 6 |

| وَٱفْعَلْ مَعْرُوفًا لِبَنِي بَرْزِلَّايِ ٱلْجِلْعَادِيِّ فَيَكُونُوا بَيْنَ ٱلْآكِلِينَ عَلَى مَائِدَتِكَ، لِأَنَّهُمْ هَكَذَا تَقَدَّمُوا إِلَيَّ عِنْدَ هَرَبِي مِنْ وَجْهِ أَبْشَالُومَ أَخِيكَ. | ٧ 7 |

| وَهُوَذَا مَعَكَ شِمْعِي بْنُ جِيرَا ٱلْبَنْيَامِينِيُّ مِنْ بَحُورِيمَ، وَهُوَ لَعَنَنِي لَعْنَةً شَدِيدَةً يَوْمَ ٱنْطَلَقْتُ إِلَى مَحَنَايِمَ، وَقَدْ نَزَلَ لِلِقَائِي إِلَى ٱلْأُرْدُنِّ، فَحَلَفْتُ لَهُ بِٱلرَّبِّ قَائِلًا: إِنِّي لَا أُمِيتُكَ بِٱلسَّيْفِ. | ٨ 8 |

| وَجَلَسَ سُلَيْمَانُ عَلَى كُرْسِيِّ دَاوُدَ أَبِيهِ، وَتَثَبَّتَ مُلْكُهُ جِدًّا. | ١٢ 12 |

| ثُمَّ جَاءَ أَدُونِيَّا ٱبْنُ حَجِّيثَ إِلَى بَثْشَبَعَ أُمِّ سُلَيْمَانَ. فَقَالَتْ: «أَلِلسَّلَامِ جِئْتَ؟» فَقَالَ: «لِلسَّلَامِ». | ١٣ 13 |

| ثُمَّ قَالَ: «لِي مَعَكِ كَلِمَةٌ». فَقَالَتْ: «تَكَلَّمْ». | ١٤ 14 |

| فَقَالَ: «أَنْتِ تَعْلَمِينَ أَنَّ ٱلْمُلْكَ كَانَ لِي، وَقَدْ جَعَلَ جَمِيعُ إِسْرَائِيلَ وُجُوهَهُمْ نَحْوِي لِأَمْلِكَ، فَدَارَ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَصَارَ لِأَخِي لِأَنَّهُ مِنْ قِبَلِ ٱلرَّبِّ صَارَ لَهُ. | ١٥ 15 |

| وَٱلْآنَ أَسْأَلُكِ سُؤَالًا وَاحِدًا فَلَا تَرُدِّينِي فِيهِ». فَقَالَتْ لَهُ: «تَكَلَّمْ». | ١٦ 16 |

| فَقَالَ: «قُولِي لِسُلَيْمَانَ ٱلْمَلِكِ، لِأَنَّهُ لَا يَرُدُّكِ، أَنْ يُعْطِيَنِي أَبِيشَجَ ٱلشُّونَمِيَّةَ ٱمْرَأَةً». | ١٧ 17 |

| فَقَالَتْ بَثْشَبَعُ: «حَسَنًا. أَنَا أَتَكَلَّمُ عَنْكَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلِكِ». | ١٨ 18 |

| فَدَخَلَتْ بَثْشَبَعُ إِلَى ٱلْمَلِكِ سُلَيْمَانَ لِتُكَلِّمَهُ عَنْ أَدُونِيَّا. فَقَامَ ٱلْمَلِكُ لِلِقَائِهَا وَسَجَدَ لَهَا وَجَلَسَ عَلَى كُرْسِيِّهِ، وَوَضَعَ كُرْسِيًّا لِأُمِّ ٱلْمَلِكِ فَجَلَسَتْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ. | ١٩ 19 |

| وَقَالَتْ: «إِنَّمَا أَسْأَلُكَ سُؤَالًا وَاحِدًا صَغِيرًا. لَا تَرُدَّنِي». فَقَالَ لَهَا ٱلْمَلِكُ: «ٱسْأَلِي يَا أُمِّي، لِأَنِّي لَا أَرُدُّكِ». | ٢٠ 20 |

| فَأَجَابَ ٱلْمَلِكُ سُلَيْمَانُ وَقَالَ لِأُمِّهِ: «وَلِمَاذَا أَنْتِ تَسْأَلِينَ أَبِيشَجَ ٱلشُّونَمِيَّةَ لِأَدُونِيَّا؟ فَٱسْأَلِي لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكَ لِأَنَّهُ أَخِي ٱلْأَكْبَرُ مِنِّي! لَهُ وَلِأَبِيَاثَارَ ٱلْكَاهِنِ وَلِيُوآبَ ٱبْنِ صَرُويَةَ». | ٢٢ 22 |

| وَحَلَفَ سُلَيْمَانُ ٱلْمَلِكُ بِٱلرَّبِّ قَائِلًا: «هَكَذَا يَفْعَلُ لِيَ ٱللهُ وَهَكَذَا يَزِيدُ، إِنَّهُ قَدْ تَكَلَّمَ أَدُونِيَّا بِهَذَا ٱلْكَلَامِ ضِدَّ نَفْسِهِ. | ٢٣ 23 |
and to swear [the] king Solomon in/on/with LORD to/for to say thus to make: do to/for me God and thus to add for in/on/with soul: life his to speak: speak Adonijah [obj] [the] word [the] this
| وَٱلْآنَ حَيٌّ هُوَ ٱلرَّبُّ ٱلَّذِي ثَبَّتَنِي وَأَجْلَسَنِي عَلَى كُرْسِيِّ دَاوُدَ أَبِي، وَٱلَّذِي صَنَعَ لِي بَيْتًا كَمَا تَكَلَّمَ، إِنَّهُ ٱلْيَوْمَ يُقْتَلُ أَدُونِيَّا». | ٢٤ 24 |

| فَأَرْسَلَ ٱلْمَلِكُ سُلَيْمَانُ بِيَدِ بَنَايَاهُو بْنِ يَهُويَادَاعَ، فَبَطَشَ بِهِ فَمَاتَ. | ٢٥ 25 |

| وَقَالَ ٱلْمَلِكُ لِأَبِيَاثَارَ ٱلْكَاهِنِ: «ٱذْهَبْ إِلَى عَنَاثُوثَ إِلَى حُقُولِكَ، لِأَنَّكَ مُسْتَوْجِبُ ٱلْمَوْتِ، وَلَسْتُ أَقْتُلُكَ فِي هَذَا ٱلْيَوْمِ، لِأَنَّكَ حَمَلْتَ تَابُوتَ سَيِّدِي ٱلرَّبِّ أَمَامَ دَاوُدَ أَبِي، وَلِأَنَّكَ تَذَلَّلْتَ بِكُلِّ مَا تَذَلَّلَ بِهِ أَبِي». | ٢٦ 26 |

| وَطَرَدَ سُلَيْمَانُ أَبِيَاثَارَ عَنْ أَنْ يَكُونَ كَاهِنًا لِلرَّبِّ، لِإِتْمَامِ كَلَامِ ٱلرَّبِّ ٱلَّذِي تَكَلَّمَ بِهِ عَلَى بَيْتِ عَالِي فِي شِيلُوهَ. | ٢٧ 27 |

| فَأَتَى ٱلْخَبَرُ إِلَى يُوآبَ، لِأَنَّ يُوآبَ مَالَ وَرَاءَ أَدُونِيَّا وَلَمْ يَمِلْ وَرَاءَ أَبْشَالُومَ، فَهَرَبَ يُوآبُ إِلَى خَيْمَةِ ٱلرَّبِّ وَتَمَسَّكَ بِقُرُونِ ٱلْمَذْبَحِ. | ٢٨ 28 |

| فَأُخْبِرَ ٱلْمَلِكُ سُلَيْمَانُ بِأَنَّ يُوآبَ قَدْ هَرَبَ إِلَى خَيْمَةِ ٱلرَّبِّ وَهَا هُوَ بِجَانِبِ ٱلْمَذْبَحِ. فَأَرْسَلَ سُلَيْمَانُ بَنَايَاهُوَ بْنَ يَهُويَادَاعَ قَائِلًا: «ٱذْهَبِ ٱبْطِشْ بِهِ». | ٢٩ 29 |
and to tell to/for king Solomon for to flee Joab to(wards) tent LORD and behold beside [the] altar and to send: depart Solomon [obj] Benaiah son: child Jehoiada to/for to say to go: went to fall on in/on/with him
| فَدَخَلَ بَنَايَاهُو إِلَى خَيْمَةِ ٱلرَّبِّ وَقَالَ لَهُ: «هَكَذَا يَقُولُ ٱلْمَلِكُ: ٱخْرُجْ». فَقَالَ: «كَّلَا، وَلَكِنَّنِي هُنَا أَمُوتُ». فَرَدَّ بَنَايَاهُو ٱلْجَوَابَ عَلَى ٱلْمَلِكِ قَائِلًا: «هَكَذَا تَكَلَّمَ يُوآبُ وَهَكَذَا جَاوَبَنِي». | ٣٠ 30 |

| فَقَالَ لَهُ ٱلْمَلِكُ: «ٱفْعَلْ كَمَا تَكَلَّمَ، وَٱبْطِشْ بِهِ وَٱدْفِنْهُ، وَأَزِلْ عَنِّي وَعَنْ بَيْتِ أَبِي ٱلدَّمَ ٱلزَّكِيَّ ٱلَّذِي سَفَكَهُ يُوآبُ، | ٣١ 31 |
and to say to/for him [the] king to make: do like/as as which to speak: speak and to fall on in/on/with him and to bury him and to turn aside: remove blood for nothing which to pour: kill Joab from upon me and from upon house: household father my
| فَيَرُدُّ ٱلرَّبُّ دَمَهُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ، لِأَنَّهُ بَطَشَ بِرَجُلَيْنِ بَرِيئَيْنِ وَخَيْرٍ مِنْهُ وَقَتَلَهُمَا بِٱلسَّيْفِ، وَأَبِي دَاوُدُ لَا يَعْلَمُ، وَهُمَا أَبْنَيْرُ بْنُ نَيْرٍ رَئِيسُ جَيْشِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَعَمَاسَا بْنُ يَثَرٍ رَئِيسُ جَيْشِ يَهُوذَا. | ٣٢ 32 |
and to return: return LORD [obj] blood his upon head his which to fall on in/on/with two human righteous and pleasant from him and to kill them in/on/with sword and father my David not to know [obj] Abner son: child Ner ruler army Israel and [obj] Amasa son: child Jether ruler army Judah
| فَيَرْتَدُّ دَمُهُمَا عَلَى رَأْسِ يُوآبَ وَرَأْسِ نَسْلِهِ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ، وَيَكُونُ لِدَاوُدَ وَنَسْلِهِ وَبَيْتِهِ وَكُرْسِيِّهِ سَلَامٌ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ مِنْ عِنْدِ ٱلرَّبِّ». | ٣٣ 33 |
and to return: return blood their in/on/with head Joab and in/on/with head seed: children his to/for forever: enduring and to/for David and to/for seed: children his and to/for house: household his and to/for throne his to be peace till forever: enduring from from with LORD
| فَصَعِدَ بَنَايَاهُو بْنُ يَهُويَادَاعَ وَبَطَشَ بِهِ وَقَتَلَهُ، فَدُفِنَ فِي بَيْتِهِ فِي ٱلْبَرِّيَّةِ. | ٣٤ 34 |

| وَجَعَلَ ٱلْمَلِكُ بَنَايَاهُوَ بْنَ يَهُويَادَاعَ مَكَانَهُ عَلَى ٱلْجَيْشِ، وَجَعَلَ ٱلْمَلِكُ صَادُوقَ ٱلْكَاهِنَ مَكَانَ أَبِيَاثَارَ. | ٣٥ 35 |

| ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَ ٱلْمَلِكُ وَدَعَا شِمْعِيَ وَقَالَ لَهُ: «اِبْنِ لِنَفْسِكَ بَيْتًا فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ، وَأَقِمْ هُنَاكَ وَلَا تَخْرُجْ مِنْ هُنَاكَ إِلَى هُنَا أَوْ هُنَالِكَ. | ٣٦ 36 |

| فَيَوْمَ تَخْرُجُ وَتَعْبُرُ وَادِيَ قَدْرُونَ، ٱعْلَمَنَّ بِأَنَّكَ مَوْتًا تَمُوتُ، وَيَكُونُ دَمُكَ عَلَى رَأْسِكَ». | ٣٧ 37 |

| وَفِي نِهَايَةِ ثَلَاثِ سِنِينَ هَرَبَ عَبْدَانِ لِشِمْعِي إِلَى أَخِيشَ بْنِ مَعْكَةَ مَلِكِ جَتَّ، فَأَخْبَرُوا شِمْعِي قَائِلِينَ: «هُوَذَا عَبْدَاكَ فِي جَتَّ». | ٣٩ 39 |

| فَأُخْبِرَ سُلَيْمَانُ بِأَنَّ شِمْعِي قَدِ ٱنْطَلَقَ مِنْ أُورُشَلِيمَ إِلَى جَتَّ وَرَجَعَ. | ٤١ 41 |

| فَأَرْسَلَ ٱلْمَلِكُ وَدَعَا شِمْعِيَ وَقَالَ لَهُ: «أَمَا ٱسْتَحْلَفْتُكَ بِٱلرَّبِّ وَأَشْهَدْتُ عَلَيْكَ قَائِلًا: إِنَّكَ يَوْمَ تَخْرُجُ وَتَذْهَبُ إِلَى هُنَا وَهُنَالِكَ، ٱعْلَمَنَّ بِأَنَّكَ مَوْتًا تَمُوتُ؟ فَقُلْتَ لِي: حَسَنٌ ٱلْأَمْرُ. قَدْ سَمِعْتُ. | ٤٢ 42 |
and to send: depart [the] king and to call: call to to/for Shimei and to say to(wards) him not to swear you in/on/with LORD and to testify in/on/with you to/for to say in/on/with day to come out: come you and to go: went where? and where? to know to know for to die to die and to say to(wards) me pleasant [the] word: speaking to hear: obey
| فَلِمَاذَا لَمْ تَحْفَظْ يَمِينَ ٱلرَّبِّ وَٱلْوَصِيَّةَ ٱلَّتِي أَوْصَيْتُكَ بِهَا؟». | ٤٣ 43 |
and why? not to keep: obey [obj] oath LORD and [obj] [the] commandment which to command upon you
| ثُمَّ قَالَ ٱلْمَلِكُ لِشِمْعِي: «أَنْتَ عَرَفْتَ كُلَّ ٱلشَّرِّ ٱلَّذِي عَلِمَهُ قَلْبُكَ ٱلَّذِي فَعَلْتَهُ لِدَاوُدَ أَبِي، فَلِيَرُدَّ ٱلرَّبُّ شَرَّكَ عَلَى رَأْسِكَ. | ٤٤ 44 |
and to say [the] king to(wards) Shimei you(m. s.) to know [obj] all [the] distress: harm which to know heart your which to make: do to/for David father my and to return: return LORD [obj] distress: harm your in/on/with head your
| وَٱلْمَلِكُ سُلَيْمَانُ يُبَارَكُ، وَكُرْسِيُّ دَاوُدَ يَكُونُ ثَابِتًا أَمَامَ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ». | ٤٥ 45 |
and [the] king Solomon to bless and throne David to be to establish: establish to/for face: before LORD till forever: enduring
| وَأَمَرَ ٱلْمَلِكُ بَنَايَاهُوَ بْنَ يَهُويَادَاعَ، فَخَرَجَ وَبَطَشَ بِهِ فَمَاتَ. وَتَثَبَّتَ ٱلْمُلْكُ بِيَدِ سُلَيْمَانَ. | ٤٦ 46 |
and to command [the] king [obj] Benaiah son: child Jehoiada and to come out: come and to fall on in/on/with him and to die and [the] kingdom to establish: establish in/on/with hand: power Solomon
