١ أخبار 25

١ 1 وَأَفْرَزَ دَاوُدُ وَرُؤَسَاءُ ٱلْجَيْشِ لِلْخِدْمَةِ بَنِي آسَافَ وَهَيْمَانَ وَيَدُوثُونَ ٱلْمُتَنَبِّئِينَ بِٱلْعِيدَانِ وَٱلرَّبَابِ وَٱلصُّنُوجِ. وَكَانَ عَدَدُهُمْ مِنْ رِجَالِ ٱلْعَمَلِ حَسَبَ خِدْمَتِهِمْ.

Then David and the magistrates of the army set apart, for the ministry, the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who were to prophesy with harps and psalteries and cymbals, in accord with their number, having been dedicated to their appointed office.

٢ 2 مِنْ بَنِي آسَافَ: زَكُّورُ وَيُوسُفُ وَنَثَنْيَا وَأَشَرْئِيلَةُ. بَنُو آسَافَ تَحْتَ يَدِ آسَافَ ٱلْمُتَنَبِّئِ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ ٱلْمَلِكِ.

From the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah, the sons of Asaph, under the hand of Asaph, prophesying beside the king.

٣ 3 مِنْ يَدُوثُونَ، بَنُو يَدُوثُونَ: جَدَلْيَا وَصَرِي وَيِشْعِيَا وَحَشَبْيَا وَمَتَّثْيَا، سِتَّةٌ. تَحْتَ يَدِ أَبِيهِمْ يَدُوثُونَ ٱلْمُتَنَبِّئِ بِٱلْعُودِ لِأَجْلِ ٱلْحَمْدِ وَٱلتَّسْبِيحِ لِلرَّبِّ.

Then of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, and Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hand of their father Jeduthun, who was prophesying with stringed instruments, while confessing and praising the Lord.

٤ 4 مِنْ هَيْمَانَ: بُقِّيَّا وَمَتَّنْيَا وَعُزِّيئِيلُ وَشَبُوئِيلُ وَيَرِيمُوثُ وَحَنَنْيَا وَحَنَانِي وَإِيلِيآثَةُ وَجِدَّلْتِي وَرُومَمْتِي عَزَرُ وَيُشْبَقَاشَةُ وَمَلُوثِي وَهُوثِيرُ وَمَحْزِيُوثُ.

Also, of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, and Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.

٥ 5 جَمِيعُ هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو هَيْمَانَ رَائِي ٱلْمَلِكِ بِكَلَامِ ٱللهِ لِرَفْعِ ٱلْقَرْنِ. وَرَزَقَ ٱلرَّبُّ هَيْمَانَ أَرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ ٱبْنًا وَثَلَاثَ بَنَاتٍ.

All these were the sons of Heman, the seer of the king in the words of God, in order to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

٦ 6 كُلُّ هَؤُلَاءِ تَحْتَ يَدِ أَبِيهِمْ لِأَجْلِ غِنَاءِ بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ بِٱلصُّنُوجِ وَٱلرَّبَابِ وَٱلْعِيدَانِ لِخِدْمَةِ بَيْتِ ٱللهِ، تَحْتَ يَدِ ٱلْمَلِكِ وَآسَافَ وَيَدُوثُونَ وَهَيْمَانَ.

All these, under their father’s hand, were distributed in order to sing in the temple of the Lord, with cymbals and psalteries and harps, in the ministry of the house of the Lord beside the king, specifically, Asaph, and Jeduthun, and Heman.

٧ 7 وَكَانَ عَدَدُهُمْ مَعَ إِخْوَتِهِمِ ٱلْمُتَعَلِّمِينَ ٱلْغِنَاءَ لِلرَّبِّ، كُلِّ ٱلْخَبِيرِينَ مِئَتَيْنِ وَثَمَانِيَةً وَثَمَانِينَ.

Now the number of these, with their brothers, who were instructing in the song of the Lord, all the teachers, were two hundred eighty-eight.

٨ 8 وَأَلْقَوْا قُرَعَ ٱلْحِرَاسَةِ ٱلصَّغِيرُ كَمَا ٱلْكَبِيرِ، ٱلْمُعَلِّمُ مَعَ ٱلتِّلْمِيذِ.

And they cast lots in their turns, the elder equally with the younger, the learned together with the unlearned.

٩ 9 فَخَرَجَتِ ٱلْقُرْعَةُ ٱلْأُولَى ٱلَّتِي هِيَ لِآسَافَ لِيُوسُفَ. ٱلثَّانِيَةُ لِجَدَلْيَا، هُوَ وَإِخْوَتُهُ وَبَنُوهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

And the first lot went forth to Joseph, who was of Asaph; the second went forth to Gedaliah, to him and his sons and his brothers, twelve.

١٠ 10 ٱلثَّالِثَةُ لِزَكُّورَ، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The third went to Zaccur, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

١١ 11 ٱلرَّابِعَةُ لِيَصْرِي، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The fourth went to Izri, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

١٢ 12 ٱلْخَامِسَةُ لِنَثَنْيَا، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The fifth went to Nethaniah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

١٣ 13 ٱلسَّادِسَةُ لِبُقِّيَّا، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The sixth went to Bukkiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

١٤ 14 ٱلسَّابِعَةُ لِيَشَرْئِيلَةَ، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The seventh went to Jesharelah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

١٥ 15 ٱلثَّامِنَةُ لِيَشْعِيَا، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The eighth went to Jeshaiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

١٦ 16 ٱلتَّاسِعَةُ لِمَتَّنْيَا، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The ninth went to Mattaniah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

١٧ 17 ٱلْعَاشِرَةُ لِشِمْعِي، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The tenth went to Shimei, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

١٨ 18 ٱلْحَادِيَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِعَزَرْئِيلَ، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The eleventh went to Azarel, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

١٩ 19 وَٱلثَّانِيَةَ عَشَرَةَ لِحَشَبْيَا، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The twelfth went to Hashabiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

٢٠ 20 ٱلثَّالِثَةَ عَشْرَةَ لِشُوبَائِيلَ، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The thirteenth went to Shubael, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

٢١ 21 ٱلرَّابِعَةَ عَشْرَةَ لِمَتَّثْيَا، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The fourteenth went to Mattithiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

٢٢ 22 ٱلْخَامِسَةَ عَشْرَةَ لِيَرِيمُوثَ، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The fifteenth went to Jeremoth, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

٢٣ 23 ٱلسَّادِسَةَ عَشْرَةَ لِحَنَنْيَا، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The sixteenth went to Hananiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

٢٤ 24 ٱلسَّابِعَةَ عَشْرَةَ لِيَشْبَقَاشَةَ، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The seventeenth went to Joshbekashah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

٢٥ 25 ٱلثَّامِنَةَ عَشْرَةَ لِحَنَانِي، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The eighteenth went to Hanani, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

٢٦ 26 ٱلتَّاسِعَةَ عَشْرَةَ لِمَلُّوثِي، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The nineteenth went to Mallothi, to his sons and his brothers, twelve.

٢٧ 27 ٱلْعِشْرُونَ لِإِيلِيآثَةَ، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The twentieth went to Eliathah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

٢٨ 28 ٱلْحَادِيَةُ وَٱلْعِشْرُونَ لِهُوثِيرَ، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The twenty-first went to Hothir, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

٢٩ 29 ٱلثَّانِيةُ وَٱلْعِشْرُونَ لِجِدَّلْتِي، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ،

The twenty-second went to Giddalti, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

٣٠ 30 ٱلثَّالِثَةُ وَٱلْعِشْرُونَ لِمَحْزِيُوثَ، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The twenty-third went to Mahazioth, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

٣١ 31 ٱلرَّابِعَةُ وَٱلْعِشْرُونَ لِرُومَمْتِي عَزَرَ، بَنُوهُ وَإِخْوَتُهُ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ.

The twenty-fourth went to Romamtiezer, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
