< Roma 12 >

1 Nin nani, ndi kuchukulu kitimine linana bara gbardang nkune kune Kutellẹ, nan nidowo mine ugutunu mmii, imon seru kiti Kutellẹ, bara unnere unni natimine kiti Kutellẹ, nso katamine nan nya Nfip Kutellẹ.
For this reason I make request to you, brothers, by the mercies of God, that you will give your bodies as a living offering, holy, pleasing to God, which is the worship it is right for you to give him.
2 Yenjen iwa dofin lidu inyi ulelẹ, kpilan atimine iso apese nan nya nibinayi mine, inan yinnọ imonirika na idi ichine, inseru, nin chasarak nnufi Kutellẹ. (aiōn g165)
And let not your behaviour be like that of this world, but be changed and made new in mind, so that by experience you may have knowledge of the good and pleasing and complete purpose of God. (aiōn g165)
3 In din bellu, bara ubollu Kutellẹ. na iwani, bara umon nan nya mine wayiru litime zikiki akata ligan lọ na ina cheghe ku: Na ikpilza ukpilzu uchine, nafo na Kutellẹ na fulọ kogha ku ligan chiu kibinayi in yinnu sa uyenu me.
But I say to every one of you, through the grace given to me, not to have an over-high opinion of himself, but to have wise thoughts, as God has given to every one a measure of faith.
4 Nafo na niti niti di kidowo kirum, vat niti nitẹ ko kame dumun katamẹ,
For, as we have a number of parts in one body, but all the parts have not the same use,
5 Nanere tidi gbardang kidowo kirume nan nya Kirsti, tidin gangang vat nin yitu arumẹ.
So we, though we are a number of persons, are one body in Christ, and are dependent on one another;
6 Bara na kogha dimun da diume na ubollu Kutellẹ na nighe. Andi uda diue fe ubellu nnu Kutellẹ'ri, na usu dert nin ligang nimon na ina fuloghemun nan nya inyinnu sa uyenu.
And having different qualities by reason of the grace given to us, such as the quality of a prophet, let it be made use of in relation to the measure of our faith;
7 Andi uda diufe usu nsu nanit katawari, na asu. Andi uda diu fe udursuzu kitẹri, na a dursuzo.
Or the position of a Deacon of the church, let a man give himself to it; or he who has the power of teaching, let him make use of it;
8 Andi uda diu fe unizu nanit likara kibinayari, niza ani: Andi uda diu unizuari, nizafi tapp: Andi uda diu fe uwunun nbunari, su seng. Andi uda diu fe ulanzu nkune kuneri, su nin nayi abho.
He who has the power of comforting, let him do so; he who gives, let him give freely; he who has the power of ruling, let him do it with a serious mind; he who has mercy on others, let it be with joy.
9 Na ussu mine wanso unrusuzu liti ba. Nari imon inanzan; minọ ilele na ichau.
Let love be without deceit. Be haters of what is evil; keep your minds fixed on what is good.
10 Ubellẹ nsu linuana, chiun ussu natimine na nibinayi; nbellen ghantinu na kogha ni gwana me.
Be kind to one another with a brother's love, putting others before yourselves in honour;
11 Nbellen kayiri, iwasu ku gwala ba; nbellen nruhu, uyita mas mas; Nbellen Chikilari, su kata me.
Be not slow in your work, but be quick in spirit, as the Lord's servants;
12 Nan nya nayi akone, su liburi liboọ; nbellen nfizu nayi, nonkon nibinayi; nbellen nlira, na iwachin ba.
Being glad in hope, quiet in trouble, at all times given to prayer,
13 Dan timunu achara tibukatu na nan nsali kulapi, nan atimine anan sesu namara.
Giving to the needs of the saints, ready to take people into your houses.
14 Tan alẹ na idin nizu munu uniu nmari; tizan nmanri na ulaana.
Give blessing and not curses to those who are cruel to you.
15 Sun ayi abho nin nale na idi nayi abho gilan nin nalẹ na idi kuchulu.
Take part in the joy of those who are glad, and in the grief of those who are sorrowing.
16 Sun lisosin limang nan nanit vat. Iwaso anan kpilluzu nghantinu nati tibau mine ba, seren anan toltunu nati. Iwa yita jijin nan nya kpilluzu mine ba.
Be in harmony with one another. Do not have a high opinion of yourselves, but be in agreement with common people. Do not give yourselves an air of wisdom.
17 Yenjen iwa tunu imon inanza nin nimon inanza. Sun imon ichine kiti nanit vat.
Do not give evil for evil to any man. Let all your business be well ordered in the eyes of all men.
18 Andi uba sonani, son ligan likara mine mang nan nanit vat.
As far as it is possible for you be at peace with all men.
19 Yenjen iwa tunnu atiminemu, linuana, nan tinanayi Kutellẹ libau. Iyerte na woro ''uttunu unanighari; nba tunnu; ubellun inchikilari.''
Do not give punishment for wrongs done to you, dear brothers, but give way to the wrath of God; for it is said in the holy Writings, Punishment is mine, I will give reward, says the Lord.
20 ''Asa unan salin nsufe din lanzu kukpon, naghe alii. Asa ayin kotoghe, naghe asonọ. Uwasu nani, uma pitiringhe achalang nlari litime.''
But if one who has hate for you is in need of food or of drink, give it to him, for in so doing you will put coals of fire on his head.
21 Na iwasun tinanzang lii likara mine ba, lewu likara tinanzang nin gegeme.
Do not let evil overcome you, but overcome evil by good.
