Psalmet 92
1 Éshtë bukur të kremtosh Zotin, dhe të këndosh lavdet në emrin tënd, o Shumë i Larti;
Yahweh, it is good for people to thank you and to sing to praise you [MTY] who are greater than any other god.
2 të shpallësh në mëngjes mirësinë tënde dhe çdo natë besnikërinë tënde,
It is good to proclaim every morning that you faithfully love us, and each night [to sing songs that] declare that you always do what you have promised to do,
3 me një harp me dhjetë tela, me lirën dhe me melodinë e qestes.
accompanied by [musicians playing] harps that have ten strings, and by the sounds made by a lyre.
4 Duke qenë se ti më ke gëzuar me atë që ke bërë, unë ngazëllohem për veprat e duarve të tua.
Yahweh, you have caused me to be glad; I sing joyfully because of what you [SYN] have done.
5 Sa të mëdha janë veprat e tua, o Zot, sa të thella janë mendimet e tua!
Yahweh, the things that you do are great! But it is difficult for us to understand [all] that you think.
6 Njeriu pa mend nuk i njeh dhe budallai nuk kupton këtë:
There are things [that you do] that foolish people cannot know about, things that stupid people cannot understand.
7 që të pabesët mbijnë si bari, dhe gjithë ata që kryejnë paudhësi lulëzojnë për t’u shkatërruar përjetë.
They do not understand that although the number of wicked [people] increases [like blades of] grass do [SIM], and they prosper, they will be completely destroyed.
8 Por ti, o Zot, mbetesh i Shkëlqyeri përjetë.
But Yahweh, you [will] exalted/be honored/rule) forever.
9 Sepse ja, armiqtë e tu, o Zot, sepse ja armiqtë e tu do të vdesin dhe gjithë ata që kryejnë paudhësi do të shpërndahen.
Yahweh, your enemies will [certainly] die, and those who do wicked things will be defeated/scattered.
10 Por ti më ke dhënë forcë të barabartë me atë të buallit, ti me ke vajosur me vaj të freskët.
But you have caused me to be as strong [MTY] as [SIM] a wild ox; you have caused me to be very joyful [MTY].
11 Dhe sytë e mi kanë për të parë disfatën e armiqve të mi dhe veshët e mi kanë për të dëgjuar disfatën e njerëzve të këqij që ngrihen kundër meje.
I [SYN] have seen you defeat my enemies; d I have heard those evil men wail/scream while they were being slaughtered.
12 I drejti do të lulëzojë si palma, do të rritet si kedri i Libanit.
But righteous [people] will prosper like [SIM] palm trees that grow well, or like [SIM] cedar [trees] that grow in Lebanon.
13 Ata që janë mbjellë në shtëpinë e Zotit do të lulëzojnë në kopshtet e Perëndisë tonë.
[They are like the trees] that grow near the temple of Yahweh [in Jerusalem], those trees that are close to the courtyard of the temple of our God.
14 Do të japin fryte edhe në pleqëri, do të jenë të lulëzuar dhe të blertë,
[Even] when righteous people become old, they do many things [IDM] [that please God]. They remain strong and full of energy, [like trees that] [MET] remain full of sap.
15 për të shpallur që Zoti është i drejtë; ai është Kështjella ime dhe nuk ka asnjë padrejtësi tek ai.
That shows that Yahweh is just; he is [like a huge] rock [under which I am safe/protected], and he never does anything that is wicked/wrong.
