Psalmet 84
1 Oh, sa të dashura janë banesat e tua, o Zot i ushtrive!
Lord, you who are the Commander of the armies of angels, your temple is very beautiful!
2 Shpirti im dëshiron me zjarr dhe shkrihet për oborret e Zotit; zemra ime dhe mishi im i dërgojnë britma gëzimi Perëndisë të gjallë.
I [SYN] would like to be there; Yahweh, I desire that very much [DOU]. With all of my inner being I sing joyfully to you, the all-powerful God.
3 Edhe rabecka gjen një shtëpi dhe dallëndyshja një fole, ku të vërë të vegjëlit e saj pranë altarëve të tu, o Zot i ushtrive, Mbreti im dhe Perëndia im.
Even sparrows and swallows have built nests [near your temple, where you protect them] [DOU]; they take care of their young babies near the altars [where people offer sacrifices to] you, who are the commander of the armies of heaven, and my king and my God.
4 Lum ata që banojnë në shtëpinë tënde dhe të lëvdojnë vazhdimisht. (Sela)
(Happy are/You are pleased with) those who (live/continually worship) in your temple, constantly singing to praise you.
5 Lum ata që e vënë forcën e tyre te ti dhe kanë në zemër rrugët e tua!
Happy are those who [know that] you are the one who causes them to be strong, those who strongly desire to (make the trip/go) to Zion [Hill].
6 Kur kalojnë luginën e Bakas, e shndërrojnë atë në një vend burimesh, dhe shiu i parë e mbulon me bekime.
While they travel through the [dry] Baca Valley, [you cause] it to become a place where there are springs of water, where the rains (in the autumn/before the cold season) fill the valley with pools of water.
7 Ata kalojnë nga një forcë te tjetra dhe në fund paraqiten para Perëndisë në Sion.
[As a result, those who travel through there] become stronger/refreshed [knowing that] they will appear in your presence (on Zion [Hill]/in Jerusalem).
8 O Zot, Perëndi i ushtrive, dëgjo lutjen time; vëri veshin, o Perëndi i Jakobit. (Sela)
Yahweh, commander of the armies of heaven, listen to my prayer; God, who [is worshiped by us (descendants of] Jacob/Israeli people), hear [IDM] what I am saying!
9 Shiko, o Perëndi, mburojën tonë, dhe shiko fytyrën e të vajosurit tënd.
God, be kind to [IDM] our king, the one who protects us [MTY], the one whom you have chosen [MTY] [to rule us].
10 Po, një ditë në oborret e tua vlen më tepër se një mijë gjetiu; mua më pëlqen më tepër të qëndroj në pragun e shtëpisë së Perëndisë tim, se sa të banoj në çadrat e të pabesëve.
[For me], spending one day in your temple is better than spending 1,000 days somewhere else; [standing] at the entrance to your temple, [ready to go inside], is better than living in the tents/homes where wicked [people live].
11 Sepse Zoti Perëndi është diell dhe mburojë; Zoti do të japë hir dhe lavdi; ai nuk u refuzon asnjë të mirë atyre që ecin drejt.
Yahweh our God is [like] the sun [that shines on us] and [like] a shield [that protects us] [MET]; he is kind to [us] and honors [us]. Yahweh does not refuse to give any good thing/blessing to those who do what is right.
12 O Zot i ushtrive, lum njeriu që ka besim te ti!
Yahweh, commander of the armies of heaven, (happy are/you are pleased with) those who trust in you!
