Psalmet 12

1 Na shpëto, o Zot, sepse njerëz të devotshëm ka më pak, dhe ata që thonë të vërtetën janë zhdukur në mes të bijve të njerëzve.

To the choirmaster on the sheminith a psalm of David. Save! O Yahweh for he has come to an end [the] faithful for they have vanished faithful [people] from [the] children of humankind.

2 Secili gënjen të afërmin e tij dhe flet me buzë lajkatare dhe me zemër të zhdyzuar.

Falsehood - they speak each with neighbor his a lip of flatteri with a heart and a heart they speak.

3 Zoti i preftë të gjitha buzët lajkatare dhe gjuhën që flet me krenari,

May he cut off Yahweh all [the] lips of flatteri a tongue [which] speaks great [things].

4 të atyre që thonë: “Me gjuhën tonë do të sundojmë; buzët tona na përkasin neve; kush është zot mbi ne?”.

5 “Për shkak të shtypjes së të mjerëve dhe të britmës së nevojtarëve, tani do të çohem”, thotë Zoti, “dhe do t’i shpëtoj nga ata që u zënë pusi”.

From [the] devastation of afflicted [people] from [the] groaning of needy [people] now I will arise he says Yahweh I will set in [the] safety [one who] he pants for it.

6 Fjalët e Zotit janë fjalë të pastra, si argjend i rafinuar në një furrë prej dheu, i pastruar shtatë herë.

[the] words of Yahweh [are] words pure silver refined in a crucible of the earth purified sevenfold.

7 Ti, o Zot, do t’i mbrosh dhe do t’i ruash, duke filluar nga ky brez përjetë.

You O Yahweh you will keep them you will guard him - from the generation this for ever.

8 Të pabesët sillen pa u ndëshkuar kudo, kur midis bijve të njerëzve lavdërohet e keqja.

All around wicked [people] they walk about! when is exalted vileness by [the] children of humankind.
