1 Zoti i foli akoma Moisiut, duke i thënë:

And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:

2 “Urdhëro bijtë e Izraelit dhe u thuaj atyre: Kur do të hyni në vendin e Kanaanit, ky është vendi që ju takon si trashëgimi, vendi i Kanaanit me këta kufij të veçantë:

Command the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, When, ye, are coming into the land of Canaan, this is the land which shall fall unto you, as an inheritance, even the land of Canaan, by the boundaries thereof.

3 Kufiri juaj jugor do të fillojë në shkretëtirën e Tsinit, gjatë kufirit të Edomit; kështu kufiri juaj do të shtrihet nga skaji i Detit të Kripur në drejtim të lindjes;

Ye shall therefore have a south corner, from the desert of Zin, on the side of Edom, —so shall ye have a south boundary, from the end of the salt sea, eastward:

4 kufiri juaj do të shkojë pastaj nga e përpjeta e Akrabimit, do të kalojë nëpër Tsin dhe do të shtrihet në jug të Kadesh-Barneas; do të vazhdojë pastaj në drejtim të Hatsar-Adarit dhe do të kalojë nëpër Atsmoni.

and the boundary shall go round for you from the south towards the cliffs of Akrabbim, then cross over towards Zin, and the extension thereof shall be from the south to Kadesh-barnea, then shall it reach out to Hazar-addar, and cross over towards Azmon;

5 Nga Atsmoni kufiri do të kthejë deri në përroin e Egjiptit dhe do të përfundojë në det.

then shall the boundary turn round from Azmon towards the ravine of Egypt, —and the extension thereof shall be towards the sea.

6 Kufiri juaj në perëndim do të jetë Deti i Madh; ky do të jetë kufiri juaj perëndimor.

And, for a west boundary, —ye shall have the great sea, even a boundary, this, shall serve you as west boundary.

7 Ky do të jetë kufiri juaj verior: duke u nisur nga Deti i Madh do të caktoni kufirin tuaj deri në malin Hor;

And, this, shall serve you as a north boundary, —From the great sea, ye shall draw a line for you to Mount Hor:

8 nga mali Hor do të caktoni kufirin tuaj deri në hyrje të Hamathit, dhe skaji i kufirit do të jetë në Tsedad;

From Mount Hor, ye shall draw a line to the entering in of Hamath, —and the extension of the boundary shall be towards Zedad:

9 kufiri do të vazhdojë pastaj deri në Zifron dhe do të mbarojë në Hatsar-Enan; ky do të jetë kufiri juaj verior.

then shall the boundary reach out towards Ziphron, and the extension thereof, be to Hazar-enan. This, shall serve you as a north, boundary.

10 Do ta vijëzoni kufirin tuaj lindor nga Hatsar-Enani deri në Shefam;

Then shall ye draw for yourselves a line, for an east boundary, —from Hazar-enan towards Shepham;

11 kufiri do të zbresë nga Shefami në drejtim të Riblahut, në lindje të Ainit; pastaj kufiri do të zbresë dhe do të shtrihet deri sa të arrijë bregun lindor të detit të Kinerethit;

and the boundary shall go down from Shepham towards Riblah, on the east of Ain—then shall the boundary go down and strike on the side of the Sea of Chinnereth, eastward:

12 pastaj kufiri do të zbresë në drejtim të Jordanit, për të arritur deri në Detin e Kripur. Ky do të jetë vendi juaj me kufijtë e tij rreth e qark”.

then shall the boundary go down towards the Jordan, and the extension thereof be to the salt sea. This shall be your land by the boundaries thereof round about.

13 Kështu Moisiu u njoftoi këtë urdhër bijve të Izraelit dhe u tha atyre: “Ky është vendi që do të merrni si trashëgimi duke hedhur short, dhe që Zoti ka urdhëruar t’u jepet nëntë fiseve e gjysmë,

And Moses commanded the sons of Israel saying, —This, is the land, which ye shall inherit by lot, which Yahweh had commanded to be given to the nine tribes and the half tribe.

14 sepse fisi i bijve të Rubenit, në bazë të shtëpive të etërve të tyre, dhe fisi i bijve të Gadit, në bazë të shtëpive të etërve të tyre, dhe gjysma e fisit të Manasit e kanë marrë trashëgiminë e tyre.

For the tribe of the sons of the Reubenites by their ancestral house, and the tribe of the sons of Gad, by their ancestral house, have received, and, the half tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance:

15 Këto dy fise e gjysmë e kanë marrë trashëgiminë e tyre në lindje të Jordanit, mbi bregun përballë Jerikos, në drejtim të lindjes”.

the two tribes, and the half tribe, have received their inheritance—on this side Jordan near Jericho, eastwards, towards sunrise.

16 Zoti i foli akoma Moisiut, duke i thënë:

Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

17 “Këta janë emrat e burrave që do të kryejnë ndarjen e vendit midis jush: prifti Eleazar dhe Jozueu, bir i Nunit.

These, are the names of the men who shall receive for you the land, as an inheritance, Eleazar, the priest, and Joshua, son of Nun.

18 Do të merrni edhe një prijës nga çdo fis, për të bërë ndarjen e vendit.

Also, one prince from each tribe, shall ye take to receive the land, as an inheritance.

19 Këta janë emrat e burrave: Kalebi, bir i Jefunehut, nga fisi i Judës;

These, therefore, are the names of the men, —For the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;

20 Shemueli, bir i Amihudit, nga fisi i bijve të Simeonit;

And, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemuel son of Ammihud:

21 Elidadi, bir i Kislonit, nga fisi i Beniaminit;

For the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon;

22 prijësi Buki, bir i Joglit, nga fisi i bijve të Danit;

And, for the tribe of the sons of Dan, a prince—Bukki, son of Jogli:

23 prijësi Haniel, bir i Efodit, për bijtë e Jozefit, nga fisi i bijve të Manasit;

For the sons of Joseph, For the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, a prince, —Hanniel son of Ephod;

24 prijësi Kemuel, bir i Shiftanit, për fisin e bijve të Efraimit;

And, for the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, a prince, —Kemuel, son of Shiphtan;

25 prijësi Elitsafan, bir i Parnakut, për fisin e bijve të Zabulonit;

And, for the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, a prince, —Elizaphan, son of Parnach;

26 prijësi Paltiel, bir i Azanit, për fisin e bijve të Isakarit;

And, for the tribe of the sons of Issachar, a prince, —Paltiel son of Azzan;

27 prijësi Ahihud, bir i Shelomit, për fisin e bijve të Asherit;

And, for the tribe of the sons of Asher, a prince, —Ahihud son of Shelomi:

28 dhe prijësi Pedahel, bir i Amihudit, për fisin e bijve të Neftalit”.

And, for the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, a prince, —Pedahel, son of Ammihud.

29 Këta janë burrat të cilët Zoti i urdhëroi t’u jepnin trashëgiminë bijve të Izraelit në vendin e Kananit.

These, are they whom Yahweh hath commanded to receive for the sons of Israel their inheritance, in the land of Canaan.
