Numrat 11
1 Por populli u ankua dhe kjo nuk tingëlloi mirë në veshët e Zotit; sa e dëgjoi, Zoti u zemërua, dhe zjarri i tij shpërtheu midis tyre dhe shkatërroi skajin e kampit.
And the people is evil, as those sighing habitually in the ears of Jehovah, and Jehovah heareth, and His anger burneth, and the fire of Jehovah burneth among them, and consumeth in the extremity of the camp.
2 Atëherë populli i bërtiti Moisiut; Moisiu iu lut Zotit dhe zjarri u shua.
And the people cry unto Moses, and Moses prayeth unto Jehovah, and the fire is quenched;
3 Kështu ky vend u quajt Taberah, sepse zjarri i Zotit ishte ndezur midis tyre.
and he calleth the name of that place Taberah, for the fire of Jehovah hath 'burned' among them.
4 Dhe fundërrinën heterogjene që ishte midis popullit e pushtoi një lakmi e madhe; edhe bijtë e Izraelit filluan të ankohen dhe të thonë: “Kush do të na japë mish për të ngrënë?
And the rabble who [are] in its midst have lusted greatly, and the sons of Israel also turn back and weep, and say, 'Who doth give us flesh?
5 Nuk i harrojmë peshqit që i hanim falas në Egjipt, kastravecat, pjeprat, preshtë, qepët dhe hudhrat.
We have remembered the fish which we do eat in Egypt for nought, the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick;
6 Por tani e tërë qënia jonë ka shteruar; para syve tanë nuk ka asgjë tjetër veç kësaj mane”.
and now our soul [is] dry, there is not anything, save the manna, before our eyes.'
7 Mana i ngjante farës së koriandrit dhe kishte pamjen e bdelit.
And the manna is as coriander seed, and its aspect as the aspect of bdolach;
8 Populli shkonte rreth e rrotull për ta mbledhur; pastaj e bënte miell me mokrat ose e shtypte në havan, e zinte në një tenxhere ose përgatiste kuleç, të cilët kishin shijen e kuleçëve me vaj.
the people have turned aside and gathered [it], and ground [it] with millstones, or beat [it] in a mortar, and boiled [it] in a pan, and made it cakes, and its taste hath been as the taste of the moisture of oil.
9 Kur binte vesa mbi kamp natën, binte mbi të edhe mana.
And in the descending of the dew on the camp by night, the manna descendeth upon it.
10 Por Moisiu dëgjoi popullin që ankohej, në të gjitha familjet e tij, secili në hyrje të çadrës së vet; zemërimi i Zotit shpërtheu me të madhe dhe kjo nuk i pëlqeu aspak edhe Moisiut.
And Moses heareth the people weeping by its families, each at the opening of his tent, and the anger of Jehovah burneth exceedingly, and in the eyes of Moses [it is] evil.
11 Atëherë Moisiu i tha Zotit: “Pse e trajtove kaq keq shërbëtorin tënd? Pse nuk gjeta hir para syve të tu për ta vënë barrën e gjithë këtij populli mbi mua?
And Moses saith unto Jehovah, 'Why hast Thou done evil to Thy servant? and why have I not found grace in Thine eyes — to put the burden of all this people upon me?
12 Mos vallë unë e kam gjeneruar tërë këtë popull? Mos vallë kam qenë unë që e kam nxjerrë në dritë, që ti të më thuash: “Mbaje në prehrin tënd, ashtu si taja mban fëmijën që pi sisë, deri në vendin që ti u ke premtuar me betim etërve të tij”?
I — have I conceived all this people? I — have I begotten it, that Thou sayest unto me, Carry it in thy bosom as the nursing father beareth the suckling, unto the ground which Thou hast sworn to its fathers?
13 Ku mund të gjej mish për t’i dhënë tërë këtij populli? Sepse vazhdon të qajë para meje, duke thënë: “Na jep mish për të ngrënë!”.
Whence have I flesh to give to all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give to us flesh, and we eat.
14 Unë nuk mund ta mbaj vetëm tërë këtë popull; është një barrë shumë e rëndë për mua.
I am not able — I alone — to bear all this people, for [it is] too heavy for me;
15 Në qoftë se kjo është mënyra me të cilën ti dëshiron të më trajtosh, të lutem, më vrit menjëherë po të kem gjetur hir para syve të tu; por mos lejo që unë të shoh fatkeqësinë time!”.
and if thus Thou art doing to me — slay me, I pray Thee; slay, if I have found grace in thine eyes, and let me not look on mine affliction.'
16 Atëherë Zoti i tha Moisiut: “Mblidhmë shtatëdhjetë njerëz nga pleqtë e Izraelit, që ti i njeh si pleq të popullit dhe funksionarë të tij; silli në çadrën e mbledhjes dhe të rrinë aty me ty.
And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou hast known that they are elders of the people, and its authorities; and thou hast taken them unto the tent of meeting, and they have stationed themselves there with thee,
17 Unë do të zbres dhe aty do të flas me ty; do të marr pastaj nga Fryma që është mbi ty dhe do t’ua kaloj atyre, me qëllim që ta mbajnë bashkë me ty barrën e popullit, dhe të mos e mbash ti vetëm.
and I have come down and spoken with thee there, and have kept back of the Spirit which [is] upon thee, and have put on them, and they have borne with thee some of the burden of the people, and thou dost not bear [it] thyself alone.
18 Pastaj do t’i thuash popullit: Shenjtërohuni për nesër, dhe do të hani mish, sepse keni qarë në veshët e Zotit, duke thënë: “Kush do të na japë mish për të ngrënë? Ishim kaq mirë në Egjipt!”. Prandaj Zoti do t’ju japë mish dhe ju do ta hani.
'And unto the people thou dost say, Sanctify yourselves for to-morrow, and ye have eaten flesh (for ye have wept in the ears of Jehovah, saying, Who doth give us flesh? for we [had] good in Egypt) — and Jehovah hath given to you flesh, and ye have eaten.
19 Dhe do ta hani jo për një ditë, jo për dy ditë, jo për pesë ditë, jo për dhjetë ditë, jo për njëzet ditë,
Ye do not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, nor ten days, nor twenty days; —
20 por për një muaj të tërë, deri sa t’ju dalë nga hunda dhe t’ju shkaktojë neveri, sepse keni hedhur poshtë Zotin dhe keni qarë para tij, duke thënë: “Pse vallë dolëm nga Egjipti?””.
unto a month of days, till that it come out from your nostrils, and it hath become to you an abomination; because that ye have loathed Jehovah, who [is] in your midst, and weep before Him, saying, Why is this? — we have come out of Egypt!'
21 Atëherë Moisiu tha: “Ky popull, në mes të të cilit ndodhem, ka gjashtëqind mijë të rritur, dhe ti ke thënë: “Unë do t’u jap mish dhe ata do të hanë mish një muaj të tërë!”.
And Moses saith, 'Six hundred thousand footmen [are] the people in whose midst I [am]; and Thou, Thou hast said, Flesh I give to them, and they have eaten, a month of days!
22 Mos duhen therur kope të tëra bagëtish të trasha dhe të imta që të kenë mjaft mish? Apo duhet mbledhur për ta gjithë peshku i detit që ta kenë një sasi të mjaftueshme?”.
Is flock and herd slaughtered for them, that one hath found for them? — are all the fishes of the sea gathered for them — that one hath found for them?'
23 Zoti iu përgjegj Moisiut: “Krahu i Zotit është shkurtuar ndofta? Tani do të shikosh në se fjala ime do të shkojë në vend apo jo”.
And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Is the hand of Jehovah become short? now thou dost see whether My word meeteth thee or not.'
24 Pastaj Moisiu doli dhe i njoftoi popullit fjalët e Zotit; mblodhi pastaj shtatëdhjetë njerëz pleq të popullit dhe i vendosi rreth e qark çadrës së mbledhjes.
And Moses goeth out, and speaketh unto the people the words of Jehovah, and gathereth seventy men of the elders of the people, and causeth them to stand round about the tent,
25 Atëherë Zoti zbriti në renë dhe i foli atij, mori nga Fryma që qëndronte mbi të dhe e çoi mbi të shtatëdhjetë pleqtë; por kur Fryma u vu mbi ta, ata bënë profeci, me gjithë se më vonë nuk bënë më.
and Jehovah cometh down in the cloud, and speaketh unto him, and keepeth back of the Spirit which [is] on him, and putteth on the seventy men of the elders; and it cometh to pass at the resting of the Spirit on them, that they prophesy, and do not cease.
26 Por dy njerëz, njëri quhej Eldad dhe tjetri Medad, kishin mbetur në kamp; dhe Fryma u vu edhe mbi ta; këta ishin ndër të regjistruarit, por nuk kishin dalë për të shkuar në çadër; megjithatë bënë profeci në kamp.
And two of the men are left in the camp, the name of the one [is] Eldad, and the name of the second Medad, and the spirit resteth upon them, (and they are among those written, and have not gone out to the tent), and they prophesy in the camp;
27 Një djalë shkoi me vrap t’ia referojë këtë gjë Moisiut dhe i tha: “Eldadi dhe Medadi po bëjnë profeci në kamp”.
and the young man runneth, and declareth to Moses, and saith, 'Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.'
28 Atëherë Jozueu, bir i Nunit dhe shërbëtor i Moisiut, një nga të rinjtë e tij, filloi të thotë: “Moisi, imzot, bëji që të heqin dorë!”.
And Joshua son of Nun, minister of Moses, [one] of his young men, answereth and saith, 'My lord Moses, restrain them.'
29 Por Moisiu iu përgjegj: “Ndofta je xheloz për mua? Ah, le të ishin të gjithë profetë në popullin e Zotit dhe dhëntë Zoti që Fryma e tij të vihet mbi ta!”.
And Moses saith to him, 'Art thou zealous for me? O that all Jehovah's people were prophets! that Jehovah would put His Spirit upon them!'
30 Pastaj Moisiu u kthye në kamp bashkë me pleqtë e Izraelit.
And Moses is gathered unto the camp, he and the elders of Israel.
31 Atëherë u ngrit një erë me urdhër të Zotit dhe solli shkurta nga ana e detit, dhe i la të binin pranë kampit, një ditë ecjeje nga një anë dhe një ditë ecjeje nga ana tjetër rreth e qark kampit, me
And a spirit hath journeyed from Jehovah, and cutteth off quails from the sea, and leaveth by the camp, as a day's journey here, and as a day's journey there, round about the camp, and about two cubits, on the face of the land.
32 Populli mbeti në këmbë gjithë atë ditë, tërë natën dhe tërë ditën vijuese, dhe mblodhi shkurtat. (Ai që mblodhi më pak pati dhjetë homer); dhe i shtrinë rreth e qark kampit.
And the people rise all that day, and all the night, and all the day after, and gather the quails — he who hath least hath gathered ten homers — and they spread them out for themselves round about the camp.
33 Kishin akoma mishin ndër dhëmbë dhe nuk e kishin përtypur akoma, kur zemërimi i Zotit kundër popullit u ndez dhe ai e goditi popullin me një plagë shumë të rëndë.
The flesh is yet between their teeth — it is not yet cut off — and the anger of Jehovah hath burned among the people, and Jehovah smiteth among the people — a very great smiting;
34 Kështu ky vend u quajt Kibroth-Hataavah sepse aty u varrosën njerëzit që ishin dhënë pas epsheve.
and [one] calleth the name of that place Kibroth-Hattaavah, for there they have buried the people who lust.
35 Nga Kibroth-Hataavau populli u nis për në Haltseroth dhe u ndal në këtë vend.
From Kibroth-Hattaavah have the people journeyed to Hazeroth, and they are in Hazeroth.
