Mikea 3
1 Unë thashë: “Ah, dëgjoni, o krerë të Jakobit, dhe ju qeveritarë të shtëpisë së Izraelit: a nuk ju takon vallë juve të njihni drejtësinë?
And I sayd, Heare, I pray you, O heads of Iaakob, and yee princes of the house of Israel: should not ye knowe iudgement?
2 Ju që urreni të mirën dhe doni të keqen, që ju hiqni lëkurën nga trupi dhe mishin nga kockat e tyre.
But they hate the good, and loue the euill: they plucke off their skinnes from them, and their flesh from their bones.
3 Ata hanë mishin e popullit tim, i heqin lëkurën nga trupi, i thyejnë kockat dhe e presin në copa sikur do të shkonte në tenxhere, si mishi që vihet në kazan.
And they eate also the flesh of my people, and flay off their skinne from them, and they breake their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
4 Atëherë do t’i këlthasin Zotit, por ai nuk do t’u përgjigjet; në atë kohë ai do t’ua fshehë fytyrën e tij, sepse kanë qenë të këqij në veprimet e tyre.
Then shall they crye vnto the Lord, but he will not heare them: he wil euen hide his face from them at that time, because they haue done wickedly in their workes.
5 Kështu thotë Zoti për profetët që e bëjnë popullin tim të largohet nga rruga e tij, që bërtasin: “Paqe”, po të kenë diçka për të kafshuar nëpër dhëmbë, por i shpallin luftë atij që nuk u vë gjë në gojë.
Thus saith the Lord, Concerning the prophets that deceiue my people, and bite them with their teeth, and cry peace, but if a man put not into their mouthes, they prepare warre against him,
6 Prandaj do të keni net pa vegime, dhe do të keni terr pa shortari; dielli do të perëndojë mbi këta profetë dhe dita do të erret mbi ta.
Therefore night shalbe vnto you for a vision, and darkenesse shalbe vnto you for a diuination, and the sunne shall goe downe ouer the prophets, and the day shalbe darke ouer them.
7 Shikuesit do të mbulohen me turp dhe shortarët do të skuqen; do të mbulojnë të gjithë mjekrën e tyre, sepse nuk do të ketë asnjë përgjigje nga Perëndia”.
Then shall the Seers bee ashamed, and the southsayers confounded: yea, they shall all couer their lippes, for they haue none answere of God.
8 Unë përkundrazi jam plot me forca të Frymës së Zotit, me drejtësi dhe forcë, për t’i bërë të njohur Jakobit shkeljen e tij dhe Izraelit mëkatin e tij.
Yet notwithstanding I am full of power by the Spirite of the Lord, and of iudgement, and of strength to declare vnto Iaakob his transgression, and to Israel his sinne.
9 Tani dëgjoni këtë, o krerë të shtëpisë së Jakobit dhe qeveritarë të shtëpisë së Izraelit, që urreni drejtësinë dhe shtrëmbëroni çdo gjë që është e ndershme,
Heare this, I pray you, ye heades of the house of Iaakob, and princes of the house of Israel: they abhorre iudgement, and peruert all equitie.
10 që ndërtoni Sionin me gjak dhe Jeruzalemin me paudhësi.
They build vp Zion with blood, and Ierusalem with iniquitie.
11 Krerët e tij gjykojnë për një dhuratë, priftërinjtë e tij japin mësim për një pagesë, profetët e tij kryejnë shortari për para; megjithatë mbështeten tek Zoti dhe thonë: “A nuk është vallë Zoti midis nesh? Nuk do të na bjerë në krye asnjë fatkeqësi”.
The heads thereof iudge for rewardes, and the Priestes thereof teache for hyre, and the prophets thereof prophecie for money: yet wil they leane vpon the Lord, and say, Is not the Lord among vs? no euill can come vpon vs.
12 Prandaj, për shkakun tuaj, Sioni do të lërohet si një arë, Jeruzalemi do të bëhet një grumbull rrënimesh, dhe mali i tempullit një lartësi e pyllëzuar.
Therefore shall Zion for your sake bee plowed as a field, and Ierusalem shalbe an heape, and the mountaine of the house, as the hye places of the forest.
