Isaia 59
1 Ja, dora e Zotit nuk është tepër e shkurtër për të shpëtuar, as veshi i tij nuk është tepër i rënduar për të dëgjuar.
Lo! the hoond of the Lord is not abreggid, that he mai not saue, nether his eere is maad hard, that he here not;
2 Por paudhësitë tuaja kanë shkaktuar një ndarje midis jush dhe Perëndisë tuaj, dhe mëkatet tuaja kanë bërë të fshihet fytyra e tij prej jush, që të mos ju dëgjojë më.
but youre wickidnessis han departid bitwixe you and youre God, and youre synnes han hid his face fro you, that he schulde not here.
3 Sepse duart tuaja janë ndotur me gjak dhe gishtërinjtë tuaj me paudhësi; buzët tuaja thonë gënjeshtra, gjuha juaj pëshpërit çoroditje.
For whi youre hondis ben defoulid with blood, and youre fyngris with wickidnesse; youre lippis spaken leesyng, and youre tunge spekith wickidnesse.
4 Askush nuk çel padi me drejtësi, askush nuk e mbron me të vërtetën; kanë besim te fjalët boshe dhe thonë gënjeshtrën, mendojnë të keqen dhe pjellin paudhësinë.
Noon is, that clepith riytfulnesse to help, and noon is, that demeth verili; but thei tristen in nouyt, and speken vanytees; thei conseyueden trauel, and childiden wickidnesse.
5 Bëjnë që të çelin vezët e nepërkës dhe tjerrin rrjeta merimangash; ai që ha nga vezët e tyre vdes, dhe nga veza e shtypur del jashtë një nepërkë.
Thei han broke eiren of snakis, and maden webbis of an yreyn; he that etith of the eiren of hem, schal die, and that that is nurschid, ether brouyt forth, schal breke out in to a cocatrice.
6 Rrjetat e tyre nuk do të bëhen rroba, as nuk do të mbulohen me atë që kanë bërë. Veprat e tyre janë vepra paudhësie dhe në duart e tyre ka veprime dhune.
The webbis of hem schulen not be in to cloth, nethir thei schulen be hilid with her werkis; the werkis of hem ben vnprofitable werkis, and the werk of wickidnesse is in the hondis of hem.
7 Këmbët e tyre vrapojnë drejt së keqes dhe shpejtojnë të derdhin gjak të pafaj; mendimet e tyre janë mendime paudhësie; në shtigjet e tyre ka pikëllim dhe shkatërrim.
The feet of hem rennen to yuel, and haasten to schede out innocent blood; the thouytis of hem ben vnprofitable thouytis; distriyng and defouling ben in the weies of hem.
8 Rrugën e paqes nuk e njohin dhe nuk ka ndershmëri në rrugët e tyre; i bëjnë dredharake shtigjet e tyre dhe secili që ecën nëpër to nuk njeh paqe.
Thei knewen not the weie of pees, and doom is not in the goyngis of hem; the pathis of hem ben bowid to hem; ech that tredith in tho, knowith not pees.
9 Prandaj ndershmëria është larg nesh dhe drejtësia nuk arrin deri te ne; prisnim dritën, por ja që erdhi errësira, prisnim shkëlqimin, por ja që ecim në errësirë.
Therfor doom is made fer fro vs, and riytfulnesse schal not take vs; we abididen liyt, and lo! derknessis ben; we abididen schynyng, and we yeden in derknessis.
10 Prekim murin si të verbërit, ecim verbazi sikur të ishim pa sy; pengohemi në mesditë sikur të ishte mugëtirë; në vende të shkretuara jemi si të vdekur.
We gropiden as blynde men the wal, and we as with outen iyen touchiden; we stumbliden in myddai, as in derknessis, in derk places, as deed men.
11 Ne të gjithë ulërijmë si arinj dhe vazhdojmë të rënkojmë si pëllumbesha, presim të vijë ndershmëria, por ajo nuk vjen; shpëtimin, por ai është larg nesh.
Alle we schulen rore as beeris, and we schulen weile thenkynge as culueris; we abididen doom, and noon is; we abididen helthe, and it is maad fer fro vs.
12 Sepse shkeljet tona janë shumuar para teje dhe mëkatet tona dëshmojnë kundër nesh, sepse shkeljet tona na rrinë përpara dhe fajet tona i njohim:
For whi oure wickidnessis ben multiplied bifore thee, and oure synnes answeriden to vs; for our grete trespassis ben with vs, and we knewen oure wickidnessis,
13 duke u rebeluar dhe duke mohuar Zotin, duke mos e ndjekur më Perëndinë tonë, duke folur për shtypje dhe kryengritje, duke i dhënë dhe duke murmuritur në zemër fjalë të rreme.
to do synne, and to lie ayens the Lord. And we ben turned awei, that we yeden not aftir the bak of oure God, that we speken fals caleng, and trespassyng. We conseyueden, and spaken of herte wordis of leesyng; and doom was turned abak,
14 Ndershmëria është larguar dhe drejtësia ka mbetur larg, sepse e vërteta nuk ndodhet më në shesh dhe paanësia nuk mund të hyjë në të.
and riytfulnesse stood fer; for whi treuthe felle doun in the street, and equite miyt not entre.
15 Kështu e vërteta është zhdukur, dhe ai që tërhiqet nga e keqja bëhet një pre e lehtë. Zoti e pa këtë dhe i erdhi keq që nuk ka më ndershmëri.
And treuthe was maad in to foryetyng, and he that yede awei fro yuel, was opyn to robbyng. And the Lord siy, and it apperide yuel in hise iyen, for ther is no doom.
16 Ai e pa që nuk kishte më asnjë dhe u habit që askush nuk ndërhynte; atëherë i erdhi në ndihmë krahu i tij dhe drejtësia e tij e ka mbajtur,
And God siy, that a man is not, and he was angwischid, for noon is that renneth to. And his arm schal saue to hym silf, and his riytfulnesse it silf schal conferme hym.
17 ai u veshi me drejtësinë si me një parzmore dhe vuri mbi kryet e tij përkrenaren e shpëtimit, veshi rrobat e hakmarrjes dhe u mbulua me xhelozi si me një mantel.
He is clothid with riytfulnesse as with an harburioun, and the helm of helthe is in his heed; he is clothid with clothis of veniaunce, and he is hilid as with a mentil of feruent worchyng.
18 Ai do t’i japë secilit sipas veprave të tij; tërbimin kundërshtarëve të tij, shpagimin armiqve të tij; ishujve do t’u japë shpërblim të plotë.
As to veniaunce, as to yeldyng of indignacioun to hise enemyes, and to quityng of tyme to hise aduersaries, he schal yelde while to ylis.
19 Kështu do të kenë frikë nga emri i Zotit ata nga perëndimi prej lavdisë së tij ata nga lindja; kur kundërshtari do të vijë si një lum i furishëm, Fryma e Zotit do të lartojë kundër tij një flamur.
And thei that ben at the west, schulen drede the name of the Lord, and thei that ben at the risyng of the sunne, schulen drede the glorie of hym; whanne he schal come as a violent flood, whom the spirit of the Lord compellith.
20 “Një çlirues do të vijë në Sion dhe për ata të kthyerit nga rebelimi i tyre te Jakobi”, thotë Zoti.
Whan ayen biere schal come to Syon, and to hem that goen ayen fro wickidnesse in Jacob, seith the Lord.
21 “Sa për mua, kjo është besëlidhja ime me ata”, thotë Zoti: “Fryma ime është mbi ty dhe fjalët e mia që vura në gojën tënde nuk do të largohen kurrë nga goja jote as nga goja e pasardhësve të tu, as nga goja e pasardhësve të pasardhësve të tu”, thotë Zoti, “tani e përgjithmonë”.
