Isaia 52
1 Rizgjohu, rizgjohu, rivishu me forcën tënde, o Sion; vish rrobat e tua të mrekullueshme, o Jeruzalem, qytet i shenjtë! Sepse nuk do të hyjnë më te ti i parrethpreri dhe i papastri.
Awake, awake, Put on thy strength, O Zion, —Put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem—thou holy city, For there shall not again come into thee any more the uncircumcised and unclean.
2 Shkunde pluhurin që ke në kurriz, çohu dhe ulu ndenjur, o Jeruzalem; zgjidhi zinxhirët që ke në qafë, o bijë e Sionit, që je në robëri!
Shake thyself from the dust arise—sit down O Jerusalem, —Loose thyself from the bonds of thy neck, O captive! daughter of Zion!
3 Sepse kështu thotë Zoti: “Ju kanë shitur për asgjë dhe do të shpengoheni pa para”.
For, thus, saith Yahweh, For nought, ye sold yourselves, —And not with silver, shall ye be redeemed,
4 Sepse kështu thotë Zoti, Zoti: “Populli im zbriti së lashti në Egjipt për të banuar; pastaj Asiri e shtypi pa shkak.
For, thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, To Egypt, went down my people at first to sojourn there, —But, Assyria, without cause, hath oppressed him.
5 Dhe tani çfarë po bëj unë këtu?”, thotë Zoti, “ndërsa popullin tim e kanë hequr larg për asgjë? Ata që e sundojnë, bëjnë që ai të rënkojë”, thotë Zoti, “dhe emri im shahet vazhdimisht tërë ditën.
Now, therefore, what do I here? Demandeth Yahweh. That my people have been taken away for nought? They who rule them, do howl, Declareth Yahweh, And, continually—all the day, is my Name brought into contempt.
6 Prandaj populli im do të njohë emrin tim, prandaj do të kuptojë atë ditë që jam unë që kam folur: “Ja ku jam!””.
Therefore, shall my people acknowledge my Name: Therefore, in that day, shall they acknowledge that, I, am the same, even I who am speaking, —Here, I am,
7 Sa të bukura janë mbi malet këmbët e lajmëtarit që sjell lajme të mira që njofton paqen, që sjell lajme të bukura mbi gjëra të mira, që shpall shpëtimin, që i thotë Sionit: “Perëndia yt mbretëron!”.
How beautiful, upon the mountains are the feet—Of him That bringeth good tidings, That publisheth peace, That bringeth good tidings of blessing, That publisheth salvation, —That saith unto Zion, Thy God, hath become king.
8 Dëgjo! Rojet e tua ngrenë zërin dhe lëshojnë bashkë britma gëzimi, sepse shohin me sytë e tyre Zotin që kthehet në Sion.
The voice of thy watchmen! They have uplifted a voice Together, do they renew the shout of triumph, —For eye to eye, shall they see, When Yahweh returneth to Zion.
9 Shpërtheni bashkë në britma gëzimi, o rrënoja të Jeruzalemit, sepse Zoti ngushëllon popullin e tij dhe çliron Jeruzalemin.
Break forth, shout in triumph together, ye waste places of Jerusalem, —For Yahweh Hath comforted his people, Hath redeemed Jerusalem:
10 Zoti ka zhveshur krahun e tij të shenjtë para syve të të gjitha kombeve; të gjitha skajet e tokës do të shohin shpëtimin e Perëndisë tonë.
Yahweh hath bared his holy arm, in the eyes of all the nations, So shall all the ends of the earth see the salvation of our God.
11 Ikni, ikni, dilni andej, mos prekni asgjë të papastër! Dilni nga ambienti i saj, pastrohuni, ju që mbani vazot e Zotit!
Away! away! come, forth from thence!—Nought unclean, may ye touch, —Come forth out of her midst, Purify yourselves, ye who are to carry the vessels of Yahweh;
12 Sepse ju nuk do të niseni me nxitim dhe nuk do të shkoni me turr, sepse Zoti do të ecë para jush, Perëndia i Izraelit do të jetë praparoja juaj.
For, not in haste, shall ye come forth, Nor, by flight, shall ye journey, —For, your van-guard, is Yahweh, And, your rear-guard, the God of Israel.
13 Ja, shërbëtori im do të begatohet, do të ngrihet dhe do të lartësohet shumë.
Lo! my Servant, prospereth, —He riseth, and is lifted up, and becometh very high:
14 Duke qenë se shumë veta u çuditën me ty, sepse pamja e tij ishte e shfytyruar më tepër se e çdo njeriu tjetër dhe fytyra e tij ishte ndryshe nga ajo e bijve të njeriut,
The more that Many, were amazed at thee, So marred, beyond any man’s, was his appearance, —And his form, beyond the sons of men,
15 kështu ai do të spërkasë shumë kombe; mbretërit do të mbyllin gojën para tij, sepse do të shohin çfarë nuk u ishte treguar kurrë atyre dhe do të kuptojnë ato që nuk kishin dëgjuar.
The more doth he startle Many nations, Before him, have kings closed their mouth, —For, that which had not been related to them, have they seen, And that which they had not heard, haw they diligently considered.
