Isaia 32

1 Ja, një mbret do të mbretërojë me drejtësi dhe princat do të qeverisin me paanësi.

Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.

2 Secili prej tyre do të jetë si një mbrojtje nga era dhe një strehë kundër uraganit, si rrëke uji në një vend të thatë, si hija e një shkëmbi të madh në një tokë të zhuritur.

And a man shall be as a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the storm; as brooks of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.

3 Sytë e atyre që shohin nuk do t’u erren më dhe veshët e atyre që dëgjojnë do të jenë të vëmendshëm.

And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken;

4 Zemra e njerëzve të pamend do të fitojë njohuri dhe gjuha e atyre që belbëzojnë do të flasë shpejt dhe qartë.

and the heart of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.

5 Njeriu i përçmuar nuk do të thirret më fisnik, as i pandershmi nuk do të thirret i pavlerë.

The vile man shall be no more called noble, nor the churl said to be bountiful:

6 Sepse njeriu i përçmuar thotë gjëra të neveritshme dhe zemra e tij jepet pas paudhësisë, për të kryer pabesi dhe për të thënë gjëra pa respekt kundër Zotit, për ta lënë bosh stomakun e të uriturit dhe për ta lënë thatë atë që vuan nga etja.

for the vile man will speak villainy, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against Jehovah, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and to cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.

7 Armët e të pandershmit janë të poshtra; ai kurdis plane të këqija për të shkatërruar të mjerin me fjalë gënjeshtare, edhe kuri mjeri pohon të drejtën.

The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the meek with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.

8 Por njeriu fisnik mendon plane fisnike dhe i vë vetes qëllime fisnike.

But the noble deviseth noble things; and to noble things doth he stand.

9 Çohuni, o gra që jetoni në bollëk, dhe dëgjoni zërin tim; o bija pa mend, ia vini veshin fjalës sime!

Rise up, ye women that are at ease, hear my voice; ye careless daughters, give ear unto my speech.

10 Brenda një viti dhe disa ditëve ju do të dridheni, o gra pa mend, sepse vjelja e rrushit do të shkojë keq dhe korrje nuk do të ketë.

In a year and [some] days shall ye be troubled, ye careless women; for the vintage shall fail, the ingathering shall not come.

11 Fërgëlloni, o gra që jetoni në bollëk, dridhuni o ju gra pa mend. Hiqni veshjet tuaja, zhvishuni dhe vini një grethore në ijët,

Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones; strip you, and make you bare, and gird [sackcloth] on your loins!

12 duke i rënë gjoksit nëpër arat e mira dhe nëpër vreshtat prodhimtare.

They shall smite on the breasts [in lamentation] for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vineyards.

13 Mbi tokën e popullit tim do të rriten gjemba dhe ferra; po, mbi të gjitha shtëpitë e gëzimit të qytetit të qejfeve.

Upon the land of my people shall come up thistles [and] briars, yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city.

14 Sepse pallati do të braktiset, qyteti i zhurmshëm do të shkretohet, Ofeli dhe kulla do të bëhen për gjithnjë shpella gëzimi për gomarët e egër dhe kullotë për kopetë.

For the palace shall be deserted, the multitude of the city shall be forsaken; hill and watchtower shall be caves for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;

15 deri sa mbi ne të përhapet Fryma nga lart, shkretëtira të bëhet pemishte dhe pemishtja të konsiderohet si një pyll.

until the Spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness become a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.

16 Atëherë i drejti do të banojë në shkretëtirë dhe drejtësia do të banojë në pemishte.

And judgment shall inhabit the wilderness, and righteousness dwell in the fruitful field.

17 Pasojë e drejtësisë do të jetë paqja, rezultat i drejtësisë qetësia dhe siguria përjetë.

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance for ever.

18 Populli im do të banojë në një vend paqeje, në banesa të sigurta dhe në vende të qeta pushimi,

And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting-places.

19 edhe sikur të binte breshër mbi pyllin dhe qyteti të ulej shumë.

And it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.

20 Lum ju që mbillni në breg të të gjithë ujërave dhe që lini të shkojë e lirë këmba e kaut dhe e gomarit.

Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth the feet of the ox and the ass.
