1 Këta janë pasardhësit e bijve të Noeut: Semit, Kamit dhe Jafetit; mbas përmbytjes, atyre u lindën fëmijë.
Now these are the generations of the sonnes of Noah, Shem, Ham and Iapheth: vnto whom sonnes were borne after the flood.
2 Jafeti pati si bij: Gomerin, Magogun, Madainin, Javanin, Tubalin, Meshekun dhe Tirasin.
The sonnes of Iapheth were Gomer and Magog, and Madai, and Iauan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3 Bijtë e Gomerit qenë: Ashkenazi, Rifathi dhe Togarmahu.
And the sonnes of Gomer, Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4 Bijtë e Javanit qenë: Elishami, Tarshishi, Kitimi dhe Dodanimi.
Also the sonnes of Iauan, Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5 Prej tyre rrjedhin popujt e shpërndarë në ishujt e kombeve, në vendet e tyre të ndryshme, secili simbas gjuhës së vet, simbas familjeve të tyre dhe kombeve të tyre.
Of these were the yles of the Gentiles deuided in their landes, euery man after his tongue, and after their families in their nations.
6 Bijtë e Kamit qenë: Kushi, Mitsraimi, Puti dhe Kanaani.
Moreouer, ye sonnes of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan.
7 Bijtë e Kushit qenë: Seba, Havilahu, Sabtahu, Raamahu dhe Sabtekahu; dhe bijtë e Raamahut qenë: Sheba dhe Dedani.
And the sonnes of Cush, Seba and Hauilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: also the sonnes of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
8 Kushit i lindi Nimrodi, që filloi të jetë një njeri i fuqishëm mbi tokë.
And Cush begate Nimrod, who began to be mightie in the earth.
9 Ai qe një gjahtar i fuqishëm para Zotit; prandaj thuhet: “Si Nimrodi, gjahtari i fuqishëm para Zotit”.
He was a mightie hunter before the Lord. wherefore it is saide, As Nimrod the mightie hunter before the Lord.
10 Dhe fillimi i mbretërimit të tij qe Babeli, Ereku, Akadi dhe Kalmehu në vendin e Shinarit.
And the beginning of his kingdome was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
11 Nga ky vend shkoi në Asiri dhe ndërtoi Ninivën, Rehoboth-Irin dhe Kalahun;
Out of that land came Asshur, and builded Niniueh, and the citie Rehoboth, and Calah:
12 midis Ninivës dhe Kalahut ndërtoi Resenin (që është qyteti i madh).
Resen also betweene Niniueh and Calah: this is a great citie.
13 Mitsraimit i lindën Ludimët, Ananimët, Lehabimët, Nuftuhimët,
And Mizraim begate Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim.
14 Pathrusimët, Kasluhimët (prej të cilëve dolën Filistejtë) dhe Kaftorimët.
Pathrusim also, and Casluhim (out of whom came the Philistims) and Caphtorims.
15 Kanaanit i lindi Sidoni, i parëlinduri i tij, dhe Heti,
Also Canaan begat Zidon his first borne, and Heth,
16 dhe Gebusejtë, Amorejtë, Girgasejtë,
And Iebusi, and Emori, and Girgashi,
17 Hivejtë, Arkejtë, Sinejtë,
And Hiui, and Arki, and Sini,
18 Arvadejtë, Cemarejtë dhe Hamathejtë. Pastaj familjet e Kanaanëve u shpërndanë.
And Aruadi, and Zemari, and Hamathi: and afterwarde were the families of the Canaanites spred abroade.
19 Dhe kufijtë e Kanaanëve shkuan nga Sidoni, në drejtim të Gerarit, deri në Gaza; dhe në drejtim të Sodomës, Gomorës, Admës dhe Ceboimoit deri në Lesha.
Then the border of the Canaanites was from Zidon, as thou commest to Gerar vntil Azzah, and as thou goest vnto Sodom, and Gomorah, and Admah, and Zeboijm, euen vnto Lasha.
20 Këta janë bijtë e Kamit, simbas familjeve të tyre, simbas gjuhëve të tyre, në vendet e tyre, në kombet e tyre.
These are the sonnes of Ham according to their families, according to their tongues in their countries and in their nations.
21 Edhe Semit, babai i të gjithë fëmijëve të Eberit dhe vëlla madhor i Jafetit, i lindën bij.
Vnto Shem also the father of all the sonnes of Eber, and elder brother of Iapheth were children borne.
22 Bijtë e Semit qenë: Elami, Asuri, Arpakshadi, Ludi dhe Arami.
The sonnes of Shem were Elam and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram.
23 Bijtë e Aramit qenë: Uzi, Huli, Getheri dhe Mashi.
And the sonnes of Aram, Vz and Hul, and Gether and Mash.
24 Nga Arpakshadi lindi Shelahu dhe nga Shelahu Eberi.
Also Arpachshad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.
25 Eberit i lindën dy bij; emri i njërit prej tyre ishte Peleg, sepse në ditët e tij toka u nda, dhe emri i të vëllait ishte Joktan.
Vnto Eber also were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg: for in his dayes was the earth diuided: and his brothers name was Ioktan.
26 Nga Joktani lindën Almodadi, Shelefi, Hatsarmavethi dhe Jerahu,
Then Ioktan begate Almodad and Sheleph, and Hazarmaueth, and Ierah,
27 Hadorami, Uzali, Diklahu,
And Hadoram, and Vzal, and Dicklah,
28 Obali, Abimaeli, Sheba,
And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
29 Ofiri, Havilahu dhe Jobabi. Tërë këta qenë bij të Joktanit.
And Ophir, and Hauilah, and Iobab: all these were the sonnes of Ioktan.
30 Dhe vendbanimi i tyre qe mali lindor, nga Mesha deri në Sefar.
And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest vnto Sephar a mount of the East.
31 Këta janë bijtë e Semit, simbas familjeve të tyre, simbas gjuhëve të tyre, në vendet e tyre simbas kombëve të tyre.
These are the sonnes of Shem according to their families, according to their tongues, in their countreis and nations.
32 Këto janë familjet e bijve të Noeut, simbas brezave të tyre, në kombet e tyre; dhe prej tyre dolën kombet që u shpërndanë në tokë mbas përmbytjes.
These are the families of the sonnes of Noah, after their generations among their people: and out of these were the nations diuided in the earth after the flood.
