Ezekieli 14
1 Pastaj erdhën tek unë disa pleq të Izraelit dhe u ulën para meje.
And men of the eldris of Israel camen to me, and saten bifor me.
2 Atëherë fjala e Zotit m’u drejtua, duke thënë:
And the word of the Lord was maad to me, and he seide, Sone of man,
3 “Bir njeriu, këta njerëz kanë ngritur idhujt e tyre në zemrën e tyre dhe kanë vënë para tyre pengesën që i bën të bien në paudhësi. A do ta lë veten të konsultohem prej tyre?
these men han set her vnclennesses in her hertis, and han set stidfastli the sclaundre of her wickidnesse ayens her face. Whether Y `that am axid, schal answere to hem?
4 Prandaj folu dhe u thuaj atyre: Kështu thotë Zoti, Zoti: Cilido qoftë nga shtëpia e Izraelit që i ngre idhujt e tij në zemrën e tij, dhe vë para vetes pengesën që e bën të bjerë në paudhësi dhe pastaj vjen te profeti, do t’i përgjigjem unë, Zoti, lidhur me këtë, sipas morisë së idhujve të tij,
For this thing speke thou to hem, and thou schalt seie to hem, These thingis seith the Lord God, A man, a man of the hous of Israel, that settith hise vnclennessis in his herte, and settith stidfastli the sclaundre of his wickidnesse ayens his face, and cometh to the profete, and axith me bi hym, Y the Lord schal answere to hym in the multitude of hise vnclennessis;
5 për të ndikuar në zemrën e atyre të shtëpisë së Izraelit që janë larguar prej meje për shkak të të gjithë idhujve të tyre.
that the hous of Israel be takun in her herte, bi which thei yeden awei fro me in alle her idols.
6 Prandaj i thuaj shtëpisë së Izraelit: Kështu thotë Zoti, Zoti: Konvertohuni, largohuni nga idhujtë tuaj dhe hiqni fytyrën nga të gjitha gjërat tuaja të neveritshme.
Therfor seie thou to the hous of Israel, The Lord God seith these thingis, Be ye conuertid, and go ye awei fro youre idols, and turne awei youre faces fro alle youre filthis.
7 Sepse, në qoftë se një njeri çfardo i shtëpisë së Izraelit apo disa të huaj që banojnë në Izrael largohen nga unë, ngre idhujt e tij në zemrën e tij dhe vë para tij pengesën që e bën të bjerë në paudhësi dhe pastaj vjen te profeti, që të konsultohet me mua nëpërmjet atij, unë, do t’i përgjigjem unë, Zoti, nga vetja ime.
For whi a man, a man of the hous of Israel, and of conuersis, who euer is a comelyng in Israel, if he is alienyd fro me, and settith hise idols in his herte, and settith stidfastli the sclaundir of his wickidnesse ayens his face, and he cometh to the profete, to axe me bi hym, Y the Lord schal answere hym bi my silf.
8 Do të kthej fytyrën time kundër këtij njeriu, do ta bëj një shënjë dhe një proverb dhe do ta shfaros në mes të popullit tim; atëherë do pranoni që unë jam Zoti.
And Y schal sette my face on that man, and Y schal make hym in to ensaumple, and in to a prouerbe, and Y schal leese hym fro the myddis of my puple; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
9 Por në rast se profeti lë të mashtrohet dhe thotë ndonjë fjalë, unë, Zoti e kam bërë për vete këtë profet; do të shtrij dorën pastaj kundër tij dhe do ta shkatërroj në mes të popullit tim të Izraelit.
And whanne a profete errith, and spekith a word, Y the Lord schal disseyue that profete; and Y schal stretche forth myn hond on hym, and Y schal do hym awei fro the myddis of my puple Israel.
10 Që të dy do të vuajnë dënimin e paudhësisë së tyre; dënimi i profetit do të jetë i barabartë me dënimim e atij që e konsulton,
And thei schulen bere her wickidnesse; bi the wickidnesse of the axere, so the wickidnesse of the profete schal be;
11 me qëllim që ata të shtëpisë së Izraelit të mos shkojnë duke u endur larg meje, të mos ndoten më nga të gjitha shkeljet e tyre, por të jenë populli im dhe unë të jem Perëndia i tyre”, thotë Zoti, Zoti.
that the hous of Israel erre no more fro me, nether be defoulid in alle her trespassyngis; but that it be in to a puple to me, and Y be in to a God to hem, seith the Lord of oostis.
12 Fjala e Zotit mu drejtua akoma, duke thënë:
And the word of the Lord was maad to me, and he seide,
13 “Bir njeriu, në qoftë se një vend mëkaton kundër meje duke qenë vazhdimisht i pabesë, unë do të shtrij dorën time kundër tij, do t’i ndërpres përkrahjen e bukës, do t’i dërgoj kundra urinë dhe do të shfaros njerëzit dhe kafshët.
Sone of man, whanne the lond synneth ayens me, that it trespassynge do trespas, Y schal stretche forth myn hond on it, and Y schal al to-breke the yerde of breed therof; and Y schal sende hungur in to it, and Y schal sle of it man and beeste.
14 Edhe sikur në mes tyre të ishin këta tre burra, Noeu, Danieli dhe Jobi, për shkak të drejtësisë së tyre do të shpëtonin vetëm veten e tyre”, thotë Zoti, Zoti.
And if these thre men Noe, Danyel, and Job, ben in the myddis therof, thei bi her riytfulnesse schulen delyuere her soulis, seith the Lord of oostis.
15 “Por në rast se do të bëja që nëpër këtë vend të kalonin kafshë të egra që ta shpopullonin dhe ai të bëhej një shkreti ku askush nuk do të kalonte për shkak të këtyre kafshëve,
That if also Y brynge in worste beestis on the lond, that Y distrie it, and if it is with out weie, for that no passer is for the beestis,
16 edhe sikur në mes tyre të ishin ata tre burra, ashtu siç është e vërtetë që unë rroj”, thotë Zoti, Zoti, “ata nuk do të shpëtonin as bijtë as bijat; do të shpëtonin vetëm veten e tyre, por vendi do të ishte një shkreti.
and these thre men, that `ben bifore seid, ben therynne, Y lyue, seith the Lord God, for thei schulen nethir delyuere sones, nether douytris, but thei aloone schulen be deliuered; forsothe the lond schal be maad desolat.
17 Ose sikur të sillja shpatën kundër këtij vendi dhe të thoja: “Le të kalojë shpata nëpër vend”, dhe të shfaroste njerëz dhe kafshë,
Ethir if Y brynge in swerd on that lond, and Y seie to the swerd, Passe thou thorouy the lond, and Y sle of it man and beeste,
18 edhe sikur në mes tyre të ishin ata tre burra, ashtu siç është e vërtetë që unë rroj”, thotë Zoti, Zoti, “ata nuk do të shpëtonin as bijtë, as bijat e tyre, por vetëm veten e tyre.
and these thre men ben in the myddis therof, Y lyue, seith the Lord God, that thei schulen not delyuere sones nether douytris, but thei aloone schulen be delyuered.
19 Ose sikur të dërgoja kundër atij vendi murtajën dhe të derdhja mbi të zemërimin tim duke bërë kërdinë dhe duke shfarosur njerëz dhe kafshë,
Forsothe if Y brynge in also pestilence on that lond, and Y schede out myn indignacioun on it in blood, that Y do awei fro it man and beeste,
20 edhe sikur në mes tyre të ishin Noeu, Danieli dhe Jobi, ashtu siç është e vërtetë që unë rroj”, thotë Zoti, Zoti “ata nuk do të shpëtonin as bijtë as bijat, për drejtësinë e tyre do të shpëtonin vetëm veten e tyre”.
and Noe, and Danyel, and Joob, ben in the myddis therof, Y lyue, seith the Lord God, for thei schulen not delyuere a sone and a douyter, but thei bi her riytfulnesse schulen delyuere her soulis.
21 Sepse kështu thotë Zoti, Zoti: “E njëjta gjë do të ndodhë kur të dërgoj kundër Jeruzalemit katër gjykatësit e mi të tmerrshëm, shpatën, urinë, kafshët e egra dhe murtajën për të shfarosur njerëz dhe kafshë.
For the Lord God seith these thingis, That thouy Y sende in my foure worste domes, swerd, and hungur, and yuele beestis, and pestilence, in to Jerusalem, that Y sle of it man and beeste,
22 Por ja, do të lihet një mbeturinë që do të çohet jashtë, bij dhe bija; ata do të vijnë tek ju dhe ju do të shikoni sjelljen e tyre dhe veprimet e tyre. Atëherë do të ngushëlloheni nga e keqja që solla mbi Jeruzalemin, për të gjitha ato që solla mbi të.
netheles saluacioun of hem that leden out sones and douytris, schal be left ther ynne. Lo! thei schulen go out to you, and ye schulen se the weie of hem, and the fyndyngis of hem; and ye schulen be coumfortid on the yuel, which Y brouyte in on Jerusalem, in alle thingis whiche Y bar in on it.
23 Ata do t’ju ngushëllojnë kur do të shikoni sjelljen e tyre dhe veprimet e tyre. Kështu do të pranoni që jo pa të drejtë bëra atë që bëra në mes të tij”, thotë Zoti, Zoti.
And thei schulen coumforte you, whanne ye schulen se the weie of hem and the fyndyngis of hem; and ye schulen knowe, that not in veyn Y dide alle thingis, what euer thingis Y dide there ynne, seith the Lord almyyti.
