2 i Samuelit 21
1 Në kohën e Davidit pati zi buke për tre vjet me radhë; Davidi kërkoi fytyrën e Zotit dhe Zoti i tha: “Kjo ndodh për shkak të Saulit dhe të shtëpisë së tij gjakatare, sepse ai i ka bërë të vdesin Gabaonitët”.
And it was a famine in [the] days of David three years year after year and he sought David [the] face of Yahweh. And he said Yahweh because of Saul and because of [the] house of blood on that he put to death the Gibeonites.
2 Atëherë mbreti thirri Gabaonitët dhe u foli atyre. (Gabaonitët nuk u përkisnin bijve të Izraelit, por ishin mbeturina të Amorejve; bijtë e Izraelit ishin betuar se do t’i kursenin, por Sauli, në zellin e tij të madh për bijtë e Izraelit dhe të Judës, ishte orvatur t’i shfaroste).
And he summoned the king the Gibeonites and he said to them and the Gibeonites not [were] from [the] people of Israel they that except from [the] remnant of the Amorite[s] and [the] people of Israel they had sworn an oath to them and he had sought Saul to strike down them because was zealous he for [the] people of Israel and Judah.
3 Atherë Davidi u tha Gabaonitëve: “Çfarë duhet të bëj për ju dhe në ç’mënyrë duhet të veproj për të ndrequr gabimin e bërë, me qëllim që ju të bekoni trashëgiminë e Zotit?”.
And he said David to the Gibeonites what? will I do for you and how? will I make amends and bless [the] inheritance of Yahweh.
4 Gabaonitët u përgjigjën: “Ne nuk na intereson të kemi ar apo argjend nga Sauli apo nga shtëpia e tij, as duhet të vrisni për ne ndonjë njeri në Izrael”. Mbreti tha: “Atë që kërkoni, unë do ta bëj për ju”.
And they said to him the Gibeonites not (to us *QK) silver and gold with Saul and with house his and not to us a man to put to death in Israel and he said what? [are] you saying I will do for you.
5 Ata iu përgjigjën mbretit: “Për njeriun që na ka konsumuar dhe që ka menduar të na shfarosë për të na zhdukur nga tërë territori i Izraelit,
And they said to the king the man who he made an end of us and who he planned to us we were destroyed from standing in all [the] territory of Israel.
6 të na dorëzohen shtatë burra nga trashëgimtarët e tij dhe ne do t’i varim përpara Zotit në Gibeah të Saulit, që është i zgjedhuri i Zotit”. Mbreti tha: “Do t’jua dorëzoj”.
(Let it be given *Qk) to us seven men from descendants his and we will impale them to Yahweh at Gibeah of Saul [the] chosen one of Yahweh. And he said the king I I will give [them].
7 Mbreti e kurseu Mefoboshethin, birin e Jonatanit, bir të Saulit, për shkak të betimit të Zotit që ekzistonte midis tyre, midis Davidit dhe Jonathanit, birit të Saulit.
And he had compassion the king on Mephi-bosheth [the] son of Jonathan [the] son of Saul on [the] oath of Yahweh which [was] between them between David and between Jonathan [the] son of Saul.
8 Por mbreti mori dy bijtë që Ritspah, bija e Ajahut, i kishte lindur Saulit, Armonin dhe Mefibeshethin, dhe pesë bijtë që Mikal, e bija e Saulit, i kishte lindur Adrielit nga Mehola, birit të Barzilait,
And he took the king [the] two [the] sons of Rizpah [the] daughter of Aiah whom she had borne to Saul Armoni and Mephibosheth and [the] five [the] sons of Michal [the] daughter of Saul whom she had borne to Adriel [the] son of Barzillai the Meholathite.
9 dhe ua dorëzoi Gabaonitëve, që i varën në mal, përpara Zotit. Kështu u vranë në ditët e para të korrjeve, kur filloi korrja e elbit.
And he gave them in [the] hand of the Gibeonites and they impaled them on the mountain before Yahweh and they fell ([the] seven of them *QK) together (and they *Qk) they were put to death in [the] days of harvest in the first (at [the] beginning of *QK) [the] harvest of barley.
10 Ritspah, e bija e Ajahut, mori një mbulesë të ashpër dhe e shtriu mbi shkëmb, duke qendruar aty nga fillimi i korrjes deri sa mbi ta ra shi nga qielli. Ajo nuk i lejoi shpendët e qiellit të zbrisnin
And she took Rizpah [the] daughter of Aiah sackcloth and she spread out it for herself to the rock from [the] beginning of harvest until it was poured out water on them from the heavens and not she permitted [the] bird[s] of the heavens to rest on them by day and [the] animal[s] of the field night.
11 Kur i treguan Davidit atë që kishte bërë Ritspah, bija e Ajahut, konkubinë e Saulit,
And it was told to David [that] which she had done Rizpah [the] daughter of Aiah [the] concubine of Saul.
12 Davidi shkoi të marrë eshtrat e Saulit dhe ato të Jonathanit, birit të tij, nga banorët e Jabeshit të Galaadit, që i kishin marrë me vete nga sheshi i Beth-Shanit, ku Filistejt i kishin varur kur kishin mundur Saulin në Gilboa.
And he went David and he took [the] bones of Saul and [the] bones of Jonathan son his from with [the] citizens of Jabesh Gilead who they had stolen them from [the] open square of Beth Shan where (they had hung up them there [the] Philistines *QK) on [the] day struck down [the] Philistines Saul on Gilboa.
13 Ai solli që andej eshtrat e Saulit dhe ato të birit të tij, Jonatanit, dhe u mblodhën edhe eshtrat e atyre që ishin varur.
And he brought up from there [the] bones of Saul and [the] bones of Jonathan son his and they gathered [the] bones of the impaled [men].
14 Eshtrat e Saulit dhe të Jonatanit, birit të tij, u varrosën në vendin e Beniaminit, në Tselah, në varret e Kishit, atit të Saulit. Kështu bënë të gjitha ato që mbreti kishte urdhëruar. Pas kësaj Perëndia dëgjoi lutjen që u bë për vendin.
And they buried [the] bones of Saul and Jonathan son his in [the] land of Benjamin at Zela in [the] tomb of Kish father his and they did all that he commanded the king and he was entreated God for the land after thus.
15 Filistejtë i shpallën përsëri luftë Izraelit dhe Davidi zbriti me gjithë shërbëtorët e tij për të luftuar kundër Filistejve; dhe Davidi u lodh;
And it belonged again war to the Philistines with Israel and he went down David and servants his with him and they fought with [the] Philistines and he was weary David.
16 Ishbi-Benobi, një nga pasardhësit e gjigantëve që kishte një shtizë që peshonte treqind sikla bronzi dhe mbante në brez një shpatë të re, kishte ndër mend të vriste Davidin;
(And Ishbi-*QK) Benob who - [was] among those born of the Raphah and [the] weight of spear his [was] three hundred [the] weight of bronze and he [was] girded a new [weapon] and he said to strike down David.
17 por Abishai, bir i Tserujahut, shkoi në ndihmë të mbretit, goditi Filisteun dhe e vrau. Atëherë njerëzit e Davidit u betuan: “Ti nuk do të dalësh më me ne për të luftuar dhe nuk do ta shuash llambën e Izraelit”.
And he helped him Abishai [the] son of Zeruiah and he struck the Philistine and he killed him then they swore [the] men of David to him saying not you will go out again with us for battle and not you will extinguish [the] lamp of Israel.
18 Pas kësaj u bë një betejë tjetër me Filistejtë në Gob; atëherë Hushathiti Sibekai vrau Safin, një nga pasardhësit e gjigantëve.
And it was after thus and it was again war at Gob with [the] Philistines then he struck down Sibbecai the Hushathite Saph who [was] among those born of the Raphah.
19 U bë një betejë tjetër me Filistejtë në Gob; dhe Elhanani, bir i Jaare-Oregimit nga Betlemi, vrau vëllanë e Goliathit nga Gathi; shkopi i shtizës së tij ishte shuli i vegjës së endësit.
And it was again war at Gob with [the] Philistines and he struck down Elhanan [the] son of Jaare-Oregim [the] Beth-lehemite Goliath the Gittite and [the] wood of spear his [was] like a beam of weavers.
20 U bë një betejë tjetër në Gath, ku ishte një njeri me shtat të lartë, i cili kishte gjashtë gishtërinj në çdo dorë dhe gjashtë gishtërinj në çdo këmbë, gjithsej njëzet e katër gishtërinj; edhe ai ishte një pasardhës i gjigantëve.
And it was again war at Gath and he was - a man of (stature *QK) and [the] fingers of hands his and [the] toes of feet his [were] six and six [was] twenty and four [the] number and also he he was born to the Raphah.
21 Ai e fyu Izraelin, por Jonathani, bir i Shimeahut, vëlla i Davidit, e vrau.
And he taunted Israel and he struck down him Jonathan [the] son of (Shimeah *QK) [the] brother of David.
22 Këta të katër ishin pasardhësit e gjigantëve në Gath. Ata u vranë nga dora e Davidit dhe e shërbëtorëve të tij.
Four these they were born to the Raphah in Gath and they fell by [the] hand of David and by [the] hand of servants his.
