2 i Mbretërve 10

1 Ashabi kishte në Samari shtatëdhjetë bij. Jehu shkroi letra dhe ua dërgoi në Samari krerëve të qytetit, pleqve dhe tutorëve të bijve të Ashabit; në to thoshte:

And [belonged] to Ahab seventy sons in Samaria and he wrote Jehu letters and he sent [them] Samaria to [the] officials of Jezreel the elders and to the guardians Ahab saying.

2 “Sa t’ju arrijë kjo letër, me qenë se keni me vete bijtë e zotit suaj dhe keni qerre dhe kuaj, një qytet të fortifikuar dhe armë,

And now when comes the letter this to you and [are] with you [the] sons of master your and [are] with you chariotry and horses and a city of fortification and weaponry.

3 zgjidhni birin më të mirë dhe më të përshtatshëm të zotit suaj, vendoseni mbi fronin e atit të tij dhe luftoni për shtëpinë e zotit suaj”.

And you will see the good and the right of [the] sons of master your and you will set [him] on [the] throne of father his and fight on [the] house of master your.

4 Por ata patën shumë frikë dhe thanë: “Ja, dy mbretër nuk mundën ta përballojnë; si mund ta përballojmë ne?”.

And they were afraid very very and they said there! [the] two the kings not they stood before him and how? will we stand we.

5 Prandaj prefekti i pallatit, qeveritari i qytetit, pleqtë dhe tutorët e bijve të Ashabit dërguan t’i thonë Jehut: “Ne jemi shërbëtorët e tu dhe do të bëjmë të gjitha ato që do të na urdhërosh; nuk do të zgjedhim asnjë mbret; bëj atë që të duket më e mirë”.

And he sent [the one] who [was] over the house and [the one] who [was] over the city and the elders and the guardians to Jehu - saying [are] servants your we and all that you will say to us we will do not we will make king anyone the good in eyes your do.

6 Atëherë ai u shkroi një letër të dytë, në të cilën thoshte: “Në rast se mbani anën time dhe doni t’i bindeni zërit tim, merrni kokat e atyre njerëzve, të bijve të zotit suaj dhe ejani tek unë në Jezreel, nesër në këtë orë”. Bijtë e mbretit, gjithsej shtatëdhjetë, rrinin me fisnikët e qytetit, që i edukonin.

And he wrote to them a letter - second saying if [belong] to me you and to voice my - you [are] listening take [the] heads of [the] men of [the] sons of master your and come to me about this time tomorrow Jezreel towards and [the] sons of the king seventy man [were] with [the] great [people] of the city [who] were bringing up them.

7 Me të marrë letrën, ata morën bijtë e mbretit dhe i therën të shtatëdhjetët; pastaj i vunë në shporta kokat e tyre dhe ia çuan Jehut në Jezreel.

And it was when came the letter to them and they took [the] sons of the king and they slaughtered seventy man and they put heads their in baskets and they sent [them] to him Jezreel towards.

8 Kështu erdhi një lajmëtar për t’i njoftuar ngjarjen dhe i tha: “Kanë sjellë kokat e bijve të mbretit”. Jehu u përgjigj: “Vendosini në dy grumbuj në hyrje të portës deri nesër në mëngjes”.

And he came the messenger and he told to him saying they have brought [the] heads of [the] sons of the king and he said make them two heaps [the] entrance of the gate until the morning.

9 Të nesërmen ai doli dhe, duke qëndruar në këmbë, i tha tërë popullit: “Ju jeni të drejtë; ja, unë kam komplotuar kundër zotërisë sime dhe e kam vrarë; po kush i ka vrarë tërë këta?

And it was in the morning and he went out and he stood and he said to all the people [are] righteous you here! I I conspired on master my and I killed him and who? did he strike down all these.

10 Pranoni, pra, që nuk ka rënë për tokë asnjë nga fjalët e Zotit që ky ka shqiptuar kundër shtëpisë të Ashabit; Zoti në të vërtetë ka kryer atë që kishte thënë me anë të shërbëtorit të tij Elia”.

Know then that not it will fall any of [the] word of Yahweh [the] ground towards which he has spoken Yahweh on [the] house of Ahab and Yahweh he has done [that] which he spoke by [the] hand of servant his Elijah.

11 Kështu Jehu bëri që të vdesin tërë ata që kishin mbetur nga shtëpia e Ashabit në Jezreel, tërë të mëdhenjtë, miqtë dhe priftërinjtë e tij, pa lënë asnjë prej tyre.

And he struck down Jehu all those [who] remained of [the] house of Ahab in Jezreel and all great [men] his and acquaintances his and priests his until not he had left to him a survivor.

12 Pastaj u ngrit dhe shkoi në Samari. Gjatë rrugës, me të arritur në Beth-Eked,

And he arose and he went and he went Samaria he [was at] Beth Eked of [the] Shepherds on [the] way.

13 Jehu takoi vëllezërit e Ashaziahut, mbretit të Judës, dhe tha: “Kush jeni?”. Ata u përgjigjën: “Jemi vëllezërit e Ashaziahut dhe po zbresim për të përshëndetur bijtë e mbretit dhe bijtë e mbretëreshës”.

And Jehu he found [the] brothers of Ahaziah [the] king of Judah and he said who? [are] you and they said [are] [the] brothers of Ahaziah we and we have come down for [the] peace of [the] sons of the king and [the] sons of the queen-mother.

14 Atëherë ai urdhëroi: “Kapini të gjallë!”. Kështu i zunë të gjallë dhe i therën pranë pusit të Beth-Ekedit, gjithsej dyzet e dy veta; nuk kursyen as edhe një.

And he said seize them alive and they seized them alive and they slaughtered them to [the] pit of Beth Eked forty and two man and not he spared anyone from them.

15 U nis që andej dhe gjeti Jehonadabin, birin e Rekabit, që iu kishte dalë para; e përshëndeti dhe i tha: “A është zemra jote e drejtë ashtu siç është imja ndaj teje?”. Jehonadabi u përgjigj: “Éshtë”.

And he went from there and he found Jonadab [the] son of Rechab to meet him and he blessed him and he said to him ¿ [is] there with heart your right just as heart my [is] with heart your and he said Jonadab there is and there is give! hand your and he gave hand his and he took up him to himself into the chariot.

16 “Eja me mua dhe do të shohësh zellin tim për Zotin!”. Pastaj e mori me vete në qerren e tij.

And he said come! with me and look on zeal my for Yahweh and they made ride him in chariot his.

17 Me të arritur në Samari, vrau tërë ata që kishin mbetur nga shtëpia e Ashabit në Samari, deri në shkatërimin e plotë të saj, sipas fjalës që Zoti i kishte thënë Elias.

And he came Samaria and he struck down all those [who] remained of Ahab in Samaria until he had destroyed him according to [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken to Elijah.

18 Pastaj Jehu mblodhi tërë popullin dhe i tha: “Ashabi i ka shërbyer pak Baalit, por Jehu do t’i shërbejë shumë më tepër.

And he gathered Jehu all the people and he said to them Ahab he served Baal a little Jehu he will serve him much.

19 Tani thirri pranë meje tërë profetët e Baalit, tërë shërbëtorët dhe priftërinjtë e tij; të mos mungojë asnjë prej tyre, sepse duhet t’i bëj një flijim të madh Baalit; ai që do të mungojë, nuk do mbetet i gjallë”. Por Jehu vepronte me mashtrim për të shkatërruar adhuruesit e Baalit.

And therefore all [the] prophets of Baal all [those who] serve him and all priests his summon to me anyone may not he be missing for a sacrifice great [belongs] to me to Baal any [one] who he will be missing not he will live and Jehu he acted with guile so as to destroy [those who] serve Baal.

20 Pastaj Jehu urdhëroi: “Shpallni një festë solemne për nder të Baalit!”. Festa u shpall.

And he said Jehu consecrate an assembly to Baal and they proclaimed [it].

21 Pastaj Jehu dërgoi lajmëtarë nëpër gjithë Izraelin; kështu tërë adhuruesit e Baalit erdhën dhe nuk mungoi asnjë prej tyre; hynë në tempullin e Baalit dhe tempulli u mbush plot nga një anë në anën tjetër.

And he sent Jehu in all Israel and they came all [those who] serve Baal and not he was left anyone who not he came and they went [the] house of Baal and it was filled [the] house of Baal mouth to mouth.

22 Jehu i tha rojtarit të rrobave: “Nxirri jashtë rrobat për të gjithë adhuruesit e Baalit”. Kështu ai i nxori rrobat për ta.

And he said to [the one] who [was] over the wardrobe bring out clothing for all [those who] serve Baal and he brought out for them the clothing.

23 Atëherë Jehu, bashkë me Jehonadabin, birin e Rekabit, hyri në tempullin e Baalit dhe u tha adhuruesve të Baalit: “Kërkoni mirë dhe shikoni që këtu të mos ketë asnjë shërbëtor të Zotit, por vetëm adhurues të Baalit”.

And he went Jehu and Jonadab [the] son of Rechab [the] house of Baal and he said to [those who] serve Baal search and see lest there here with you [be] any of [the] servants of Yahweh that except [those who] serve Baal to alone them.

24 Kështu ata hynë për të ofruar flijime dhe olokauste. Jehu kishte vënë jashtë tempullit tetëdhjetë burra, të cilëve u kishte thënë: “Në rast se dikush lë të ikë një njeri të vetëm nga njerëzit që kam lënë në duart tuaja, do ta paguajë me jetën e tij jetën e atij që ka ikur”.

And they went to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings and Jehu he had stationed himself on the outside eighty man and he had said the man who he will escape from the men whom I [am] bringing on hands your life his in place of life his.

25 Kështu, sa mbaroi oferta e olokaustit, Jehu u dha këtë urdhër rojeve dhe kapitenëve: “Hyni, vritni dhe mos lini që asnjë t’ju ikë!”. Prandaj ata i kaluan në majë të shpatës, pastaj rojet dhe kapitenët i hodhën jashtë dhe depërtuan në pjesën e brendshme të tempullit të Baalit;

And it was when finished he - to offer the burnt offering and he said Jehu to the runners and to the officers go strike down them anyone may not he come out and they struck down them to [the] mouth of [the] sword and they threw [them] out the runners and the officers and they went to [the] city of [the] house of Baal.

26 pastaj çuan jashtë shtyllat e shenjta të tempullit të Baalit dhe i dogjën.

And they brought out [the] sacred pillars of [the] house of Baal and they burned it.

27 Pastaj shkatërruan statujën e Baalit dhe shembën tempullin e tij, duke e katansdisur në një vend ku grumbullohen plehrat e kështu mbetet edhe sot e kësaj dite.

And they pulled down [the] sacred pillar of Baal and they pulled down [the] house of Baal and they made it (outhouses *QK) until this day.

28 Kështu Jehu bëri që të zhduket Baali nga Izraeli;

And he destroyed Jehu Baal from Israel.

29 megjithatë ai nuk u tërhoq nga mëkatet e Jeroboamit, birit të Nebatit, me të cilët e kishte bërë të kryente mëkate Izraelin, domethënë nga viçat e artë që ishin në Bethel dhe në Dan.

Only [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel not he turned aside Jehu from after them [the] calves of gold which [were] Beth-el and which [were] in Dan.

30 Prandaj Zoti i tha Jehut: “Me qenë se ke vepruar mirë, duke bërë atë që është e drejtë në sytë e mi, dhe i ke bërë shtëpisë së Ashabit të gjitha atë që kisha në zemër, bijtë e tu do të ulen mbi fronin e Izraelit deri në brezin e katërt”.

And he said Yahweh to Jehu because that you have done well by doing the right in eyes my according to all that [was] in heart my you have done to [the] house of Ahab descendants of [the] fourth [generation] they will sit of you on [the] throne of Israel.

31 Por Jehu nuk u kujdesua të ndiqte me gjithë zemër ligjin e Zotit, Perëndisë së Izraelit; në fakt ai nuk u largua nga mëkatet e Jeroboamit, me të cilat e kishte bërë Izraelin të mëkatonte.

And Jehu not he took care to walk in [the] law of Yahweh [the] God of Israel with all heart his not he turned aside from on [the] sins of Jeroboam which he caused to sin Israel.

32 Në atë kohë Zoti filloi t’i presë disa pjesë të Izraelit; në fakt Hazaeli i mundi Izraelitët gjatë gjithë kufirit të tyre:

In the days those he began Yahweh to cut off in Israel and he struck down them Hazael in all [the] territory of Israel.

33 nga Jordani drejt lindjes, pushtoi tërë vendin e Galaadit, Gaditët, Rubenitët dhe Manasitët; nga Aroeri, që është afër përroit të Amonit, deri në Galaad dhe Bashan.

From the Jordan [the] rising of the sun all [the] land of Gilead the Gadite[s] and the Reubenite[s] and the Manassite[s] from Aroer which [is] at [the] wadi of Arnon and Gilead and Bashan.

34 Pjesa tjetër e bëmave të Jehut, tërë ato që bëri dhe të gjitha trimëritë e tij a nuk janë të shkruara në librin e Kronikave të mbretërve të Izraelit?

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehu and all that he did and all might his ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

35 Pastaj Jehun e zuri gjumi bashkë me etërit e tij dhe e varrosën në Samari. Në vend të tij mbretëroi i biri Jehoahazi.

And he lay down Jehu with ancestors his and people buried him in Samaria and he became king Jehoahaz son his in place of him.

36 Jehu mbretëroi mbi Izraelin në Samari njëzet e tetë vjet.

And the days which he reigned Jehu over Israel [were] twenty and eight year[s] in Samaria.
