1 i Mbretërve 15

1 Në vitin e tetëmbëdhjetë të mbretërisë së Jeroboamit, birit të Nebatit, Abijami filloi të mbretërojë mbi Judën.

And in year eight-teen of the king Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat he became king Abijam over Judah.

2 Ai mbretëroi tre vjet në Jeruzalem. E ëma quhej Maakah dhe ishte bijë e Abishalomit.

Three years he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Maacah [the] daughter of Abishalom.

3 Ai kreu mëkatet që i ati kishte bërë para tij dhe zemra e tij nuk iu shenjtërua plotësisht Zotit, Perëndisë të tij, ashtu si zemra e Davidit, atit të tij.

And he walked in all [the] sins of father his which he had done before him and not it was heart his complete with Yahweh God his like [the] heart of David ancestor his.

4 Megjithatë për dashurinë që ushqente për Davidin, Zoti, Perëndia i tij, i la një llambë në Jeruzalem, dhe e ngriti të birin mbas tij dhe e bëri të qendrueshëm Jeruzalemin,

For for [the] sake of David he gave Yahweh God his to him a lamp in Jerusalem by raising up son his after him and by establishing Jerusalem.

5 sepse Davidi kishte bërë atë që është e drejtë në sytë e Zotit dhe nuk ishte larguar nga ajo që Zoti i kishte urdhëruar të bënte gjatë gjithë kohës së jetës së tij, me përjashtim të rastit të Uriahut, Hiteut.

That he had done David the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh and not he had turned aside from all that he had commanded him all [the] days of life his only in [the] matter of Uriah the Hittite.

6 Midis Roboamit dhe Jeroboamit pati luftë sa qe gjallë Roboami.

And war it was between Rehoboam and between Jeroboam all [the] days of life his.

7 Pjesa tjetër e bëmave të Abijamit dhe të gjitha ato që ai bëri a nuk janë të shkruara vallë në librin e Kronikave të mbretërve të Judës? Pati luftë midis Abijamit dhe Jeroboamit.

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Abijam and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah and war it was between Abijam and between Jeroboam.

8 Pastaj Abijamin e zuri gjumi bashkë me etërit e tij dhe e varrosën në qytetin e Davidit. Në vend të tij mbretëroi i biri, Asa.

And he lay down Abijam with ancestors his and people buried him in [the] city of David and he became king Asa son his in place of him.

9 Në vitin e njëzet të mbretërisë së Jeroboamit, mbretit të Izraelit, Asa filloi të mbretërojë në Judë.

And in year twenty of Jeroboam [the] king of Israel he became king Asa [the] king of Judah.

10 Ai mbretëroi dyzet e një vjet në Jeruzalem. E ëma quhej Maakah dhe ishte bijë e Abishalomit.

And forty and one year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Maacah [the] daughter of Abishalom.

11 Asa bëri atë që është e drejtë në sytë e Zotit, ashtu si i ati Davidi.

And he did Asa the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh like David ancestor his.

12 Eliminoi nga vendi ata që merreshin me kurvëri të shenjtë dhe tërë idhujtë e krijuar nga etërit e tij.

And he made to pass away the male cult prostitutes from the land and he removed all the idols which they had made ancestors his.

13 Hoqi nga posti i mbretëreshës nënën e tij Maakah, sepse ajo kishte bërë një idhull të neveritshëm të Asherahut; Asa e rrëzoi atë idhull të neveritshëm dhe e dogji pranë përroit Kidron.

And also - Maacah mother his and he removed her from queen-mother that she had made an abominable image to Asherah pole and he cut down Asa abominable image her and he burned [it] in [the] wadi of Kidron.

14 Por vendet e larta nuk u eliminuan; megjithatë zemra e Asas mbeti plotësisht e shenjtëruar Zotit gjatë gjithë jetës së tij.

And the high places not they were removed only [the] heart of Asa it was complete with Yahweh all days his.

15 Ai solli në shtëpinë e Zotit gjërat e shenjtëruara nga i ati dhe gjërat që ai vetë i kishte shenjtëruar: argjendin, arin dhe enët.

And he brought [the] holy things of father his (and [the] holy things *QK) [the] house of Yahweh silver and gold and utensils.

16 Pati luftë midis Asas dhe Baashas, mbretit të Izraelit, gjatë gjithë jetës së tyre.

And war it was between Asa and between Baasha [the] king of Israel all days their.

17 Baasha, mbret i Izraelit, doli kundër Judës dhe ndërtoi Ramahun, me qëllim që të pengonte këdo që të shkonte ose të vinte nga Asa, mbret i Judës.

And he came up Baasha [the] king of Israel on Judah and he built Ramah to not [surely] permitting [any] escaping and coming to Asa [the] king of Judah.

18 Atëherë Asa mori tërë argjendin dhe arin që kishte mbetur në thesaret e shtëpisë të Zotit dhe thesaret e pallatit mbretëror dhe ua dorëzoi shërbëtorëve të tij; mbreti Asa i dërgoi pastaj te Ben-Hadadi, bir i Tabrimonit, që ishte bir i Hezionit, mbretit të Sirisë, që banonte në Damask, për t’i thënë:

And he took Asa all the silver and the gold which remained - in [the] treasuries of [the] house of Yahweh and [the] treasures of [the] house of (the king *QK) and he gave them in [the] hand of servants his and he sent them the king Asa to Ben Hadad [the] son of Tabrimmon [the] son of Hezion [the] king of Aram who dwelt in Damascus saying.

19 “Le të ketë aleancë midis teje dhe meje ashtu si ka pasur midis atit tim dhe atit tënd. Ja, unë po të dërgoj një dhuratë ari dhe argjendi; shko dhe prishe aleancën tënde me Baasham, mbretin e Izraelit, me qëllim që ai të tërhiqet nga unë”.

A covenant [be] between me and between you between father my and between father your here! I send to you a gift silver and gold come break! covenant your with Baasha [the] king of Israel so he may go up from on me.

20 Ben-Hadadi dëgjoi këshillat e mbretit Asa dhe dërgoi komandantët e ushtrisë së tij kundër qytetit të Izraelit; pushtoi Ijoin, Danin, Abel-Beth-Maakahun dhe tërë krahinën e Kinerothit me gjithë vendin e Neftalit.

And he listened Ben Hadad to the king Asa and he sent [the] commanders of the armies which [belonged] to him on [the] cities of Israel and he struck Ijon and Dan and Abel Beth Maacah and all Kinnereth with all [the] land of Naphtali.

21 Sapo Baasha e mësoi këtë lajm, ndërpreu ndërtimin e Ramahut dhe qëndroi në Tirtsah.

And it was when heard Baasha and he ceased from building Ramah and he remained in Tirzah.

22 Atëherë mbreti Asa thirri tërë ata të Judës, pa përjashtuar asnjë; ata morën nga Ramahu gurët dhe lëndën që Baasha kishte përdorur për të ndërtuar, dhe me këto materiale mbreti Asa ndërtoi Geban e Beniaminit dhe Mitspahun.

And the king Asa he made proclamation to all Judah there not [was] an exempt [person] and they carried off [the] stones of Ramah and wood its which he had built Baasha and he built with them the king Asa Geba of Benjamin and Mizpah.

23 Pjesën tjetër të bëmave të Asas, të gjitha trimëritë e tij, të gjitha ato që bëri dhe qytetet që ndërtoi a nuk janë vallë të shkruara në librin e Kronikave të mbretërve të Judës? Por në pleqëri ai vuante nga një dhimbje te këmbët.

And [the] rest of all [the] matters of Asa and all might his and all that he did and the cities which he built ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah only to [the] time of old age his he was sick feet his.

24 Pastaj e zuri gjumi me etërit e tij dhe e varrosën bashkë me ta në qytetin e Davidit, atit të tij. Në vendin e tij mbretëroi i biri, Jozafati.

And he lay down Asa with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Jehoshaphat son his in place of him.

25 Nadabi, bir i Jeroboamit, filloi të mbretërojë mbi Izrael vitin e dytë të Asas, mbretit të Judës, dhe mbretëroi në Izrael dy vjet.

And Nadab [the] son of Jeroboam he became king over Israel in year two of Asa [the] king of Judah and he reigned over Israel two years.

26 Ai bëri atë që është e keqe në sytë e Zotit dhe ndoqi rrugët e atit të tij dhe mëkatin në të cilin e kishte futur Izraelin.

And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he walked in [the] way of father his and in sin his which he caused to sin Israel.

27 Pastaj Baasha, bir i Ahijahut, nga shtëpia e Isakarit, komplotoi kundër tij dhe e vrau në Gibethon që u përkiste Filistejve, ndërsa Nadabi dhe tërë Izraeli kishin rrethuar Gibethonin.

And he conspired on him Baasha [the] son of Ahijah of [the] house of Issachar and he struck down him Baasha at Gibbethon which [belonged] to the Philistines and Nadab and all Israel [were] laying siege on Gibbethon.

28 Baasha e vrau në vitin e tretë të Asas, mbretit të Judës, dhe mbretëroi në vend të tij.

And he killed him Baasha in year three of Asa [the] king of Judah and he became king in place of him.

29 Me t’u bërë mbret, ai shfarosi tërë shtëpinë e Jeroboamit; nga Jeroboami s’la të gjallë asnjë, për e shfarosi krejt shtëpinë e tij, sipas fjalës që kishte thënë Zoit me anë të shërbëtorit të tij Ahijah, Shilonitit,

And it was when became king he he struck down all [the] house of Jeroboam not he left any breathing thing of Jeroboam until he had destroyed it according to [the] word of Yahweh which he spoke by [the] hand of servant his Ahijah Shilonite.

30 për shkak të mëkateve të Jeroboamit, të kryera nga ai dhe që Izraeli i kreu me nxitjen e tij, duke shkaktuar zemërimin e Zotit, Perëndisë të Izraelit.

On [the] sins of Jeroboam which he sinned and which he caused to sin Israel by provocation his which he provoked to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel.

31 Pjesa tjetër e bëmave të Nadabit dhe të gjitha atë që ai bëri a nuk janë vallë të shkruara në librin e Kronikave të mbretërve të Izraelit?

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Nadab and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

32 Pati luftë midis Asas dhe Baashas, mbretit të Izraelit, gjatë gjithë kohës së jetës së tyre.

And war it was between Asa and between Baasha [the] king of Israel all days their.

33 Vitin e tretë të sundimit të Asas, mbretit të Judës, Baasha, bir i Ahijahut, filloi të mbretërojë mbi tërë Izraelin në Tirtsah; dhe mbretëroi njëzet e katër vjet.

In year three of Asa [the] king of Judah he became king Baasha [the] son of Ahijah over all Israel in Tirzah twenty and four year[s].

34 Ai bëri atë që është e keqe në sytë e Zotit dhe vazhdoi rrugët e Jeroboamit dhe mëkatin që ky e kishte shtyrë Izraelin të kryente.

And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he walked in [the] way of Jeroboam and in sin his which he caused to sin Israel.
