1 Bijtë e Levit ishin Gershomi, Kehathi dhe Merari.

The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

2 Bijtë e Kehathit ishin Amrami, Itshari, Hebroni dhe Uzieli.

The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

3 Bijtë e Amramit ishin Aaroni, Moisiu dhe Miriami. Bijtë e Aaronit ishin Nadabi, Abihu, Eleazari dhe Ithamari.

The children of Amram: Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

4 Eleazarit i lindi Finehasi; Finehasit i lindi Abishua;

Eleazar became the father of Phinehas, Phinehas became the father of Abishua,

5 Abishuas i lindi Buki; Bukit i lindi Uzi.

and Abishua became the father of Bukki, and Bukki became the father of Uzzi,

6 Uzit i lindi Zerahiahu; Zerahiahut i lindi Merajothi;

and Uzzi became the father of Zerahiah, and Zerahiah became the father of Meraioth,

7 Merajothit i lindi Amariahu; Amariahut i lindi Ahitubi;

Meraioth became the father of Amariah, and Amariah became the father of Ahitub,

8 Ahitubit i lindi Tsadoku; Tsadokut i lindi Ahimaatsi.

and Ahitub became the father of Zadok, and Zadok became the father of Ahimaaz,

9 Ahimaatsit i lindi Azariahu; Azariahut i lindi Johanani.

and Ahimaaz became the father of Azariah, and Azariah became the father of Johanan,

10 Johananit i lindi Azariahu (ai shërbeu si prift në tempullin që Salomoni ndërtoi në Jeruzalem);

and Johanan became the father of Azariah, (he it is who executed the priest's office in the house that Solomon built in Jerusalem),

11 Azariahut i lindi Amariahu; Amariahut i lindi Ahitubi;

and Azariah became the father of Amariah, and Amariah became the father of Ahitub,

12 Ahitubit i lindi Tsadoku; Tsadokut i lindi Shalumi;

and Ahitub became the father of Zadok, and Zadok became the father of Shallum,

13 Shalumit i lindi Hilkiahu; Hilkiahut i lindi Azariahu;

and Shallum became the father of Hilkiah, and Hilkiah became the father of Azariah,

14 Azariahut i lindi Serajahu; Serajahut i lindi Jehotsadaku;

and Azariah became the father of Seraiah, and Seraiah became the father of Jehozadak;

15 Jehotsadaku shkoi në mërgim, kur Zoti çoi në robëri Judën dhe Jeruzalemin me anë të Nebukadnetsarit.

Jehozadak went into captivity, when the LORD carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

16 Bijtë e Levit ishin Gershomi, Kehathi dhe Merari.

The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

17 Këta janë emrat e bijve të Gershomit: Libni dhe Shimei.

These are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.

18 Bijtë e Kehathit ishin Amrami, Itshari, Hebroni dhe Uzieli.

The sons of Kohath were Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

19 Bijtë e Merarit ishin Mahli dhe Mushi. Këto janë familjet e Levit, sipas etërve të tyre.

The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their fathers' houses.

20 Gershomi pati si djalë Libnin, bir i të cilit ishte Jahathi, bir i të cilit ishte Zimahu,

Of Gershom: Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,

21 bir i të cilit ishte Joabi, bir i të cilit ishte Ido, biri të cilit ishte Zerahu, bir i të cilit ishte Jeatherai.

22 Bijtë e Kehathit ishin Aminadabi, bir i të cilit ishte Koreu, bir i të cilit ishte Asiri,

The descendants of Kohath: Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,

23 bir i të cilit ishte Elkanahu, bir i të cilit ishte Ebiasaf, biri të cilit ishte Asiri,

Elkanah his son, and Abiasaph his son, and Assir his son,

24 bir i të cilit ishte Tahathi, bir i të cilit ishte Uriel, biri të cilit ishte Uziahu, bir i të cilit ishte Shauli.

Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.

25 Bijtë e Elkanahut ishin Amasai dhe Ahimothi,

The sons of Elkanah: Amasai, and Ahimoth.

26 bir i të cilit ishte Elkanah, bir i të cilit ishte Cofaj, biri i të cilit ishte Nahathi,

Elkanah his son, Zuphai his son, and Nahath his son,

27 biri i të cilit ishte Eliab, bir i të cilit ishte Jerohami, bir i të cilit ishte Elkanahu.

Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son, Samuel his son.

28 Bijtë e Samuelit ishin Joeli, i parëlinduri, dhe Abia, i dyti.

The sons of Samuel: the firstborn Joel, and the second Abijah.

29 Bijtë e Merarit ishin Mahli, bir i të cilit ishte Libni, bir i të cilit ishte Shimei, bir i të cilit ishte Uzahu,

The descendants of Merari: Mahli his son, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,

30 bir i të cilit ishte Shimea, bir i të cilit ishte Haghiah, bir i të cilit ishte Asajahu.

Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.

31 Këta janë ata që Davidi caktoi për shërbimin e këngës në shtëpinë e Zotit, mbasi iu gjet një vend prehjeje arkës.

These are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.

32 Ata ushtruan shërbimin e tyre me këngë përpara tabernakullit të çadrës së mbledhjes, deri sa Salomoni ndërtoi shtëpinë e Zotit në Jeruzalem; dhe shërbenin sipas rregullores që u ishte caktuar.

They ministered with song before the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem: and they waited on their office according to their order.

33 Këta janë ata që kryenin shërbimin dhe këta bijtë e tyre: Nga bijtë e Kehathitit ishte Hemani, këngëtari, bir i Joelit, bir i Samuelit,

These are those who waited, and their sons. Of the descendants of the Kohathites: Heman the singer, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,

34 bir i Elkanahut, bir i Jerohamit, bir i Elielit, bir i Toahut,

the son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,

35 bir i Tsufit, bir i Elkanahut, bir i Mahathit, bir i Amasait,

the son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,

36 bir i Elkanahut, bir i Joelit, bir i Azariahut, bir i Sofonias,

the son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,

37 bir i Tahathit, bir i Asirit, bir i Ebiasafit, bir i Koreut,

the son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Abiasaph, the son of Korah,

38 bir i Itsharit, bir i Kehathit, bir i Levit, bir i Izraelit.

the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.

39 Pastaj vinte i vëllai Asaf, që rrinte në të djathtë të tij; Asafi, bir i Berekiahut, bir i Shimeut,

His brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand, even Asaph the son of Berechiah, the son of Shimea,

40 bir i Mikaelit, bir i Baasejahut, bir i Malkijahut,

the son of Michael, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Malchijah,

41 bir i Ethnit, bir i Zerahut, bir i Adajahut,

the son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah,

44 Bijtë e Merarit, vëllezërit e tyre, qëndronin në të majtë dhe ishin Ethsani, bir i Kishit, bir i Abdiut, bir i Mallukut,

On the left hand their brothers the descendants of Merari: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,

45 bir i Hadshabiahut, bir i Amatsiahut, bir i Hilkiahut,

the son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,

46 bir i Amtsit, bir i Banit, bir i Shemerit,

the son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shemer,

47 bir i Mahlit, bir i Mushit, bir i Merarit, bir i Levit.

the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

48 Vëllezërit e tyre, Levitët, ishin caktuar për çdo lloj shërbimi në tabernakullin e shtëpisë së Perëndisë.

Their brothers the Levites were appointed for all the service of the tabernacle of the house of God.

49 Por Aaroni dhe bijtë e tij ofronin flijime mbi altarin e olokausteve dhe mbi altarin e temjanit, duke e bërë gjithë shërbimin në vendin shumë të shenjtë, dhe për të bërë shlyerjen për Izraelin, sipas gjithë atyre që kishte urdhëruar Moisiu, shërbëtor i Perëndisë.

But Aaron and his sons offered on the altar of burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, for all the work of the most holy place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

These are the descendants of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

51 bir i të cilit ishte Buki, bir i të cilit ishte Uzi, bir i të cilit ishte Zerahiah,

52 bir i të cilit ishte Merajothi, bir i të cilit ishte Amariahu, bir i të cilit ishte Ahitubi,

53 bir i të cilit ishte Tsadoku, bir i të cilit ishte Ahimaatsi.

Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.

54 Këto ishin vendet e banesave të tyre, sipas ngulimeve të tyre në territoret e tyre, që iu dhanë me short bijve të Aaronit të familjes së Kehathitëve;

Now these are their dwelling places according to their encampments in their borders: to the descendants of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites (for theirs was the first lot),

55 atyre iu dha Hebroni në vendin e Judës me tokat përreth për të kullotur;

to them they gave Hebron in the land of Judah, and its suburbs around it;

56 por arat e qyteti dhe fshatrat e tij iu dhanë Kalebit, birit të Jefunehut.

but the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

57 Bijve të Aaronit iu dha Hebroni, një ndër qytetet e strehimit, Libnahu me tokat e tij për kullotë, Jatiri, Eshteoma me tokat e tij për kullotë,

To the descendants of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge, Hebron; Libnah also with its suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa with its suburbs,

58 Hileni me tokat e tij për kullotë, Debiri me tokat e tij për kullotë,

and Hilen with its suburbs, Debir with its suburbs,

59 Ashani me tokat e tij për kullotë, Beth-Semeshu me tokat e tij për kullotë.

and Ashan with its suburbs, and Juttah with its suburbs, and Beth Shemesh with its suburbs;

60 Nga fisi i Beniaminëve morën Gebën me tokat e tij për kullotë, Alemethin me tokat e tij për kullotë dhe Anathothin me tokat e tij për kullotë. Të gjitha qytetet që u ndanë midis familjeve të tyre ishin gjithsej trembëdhjetë.

and out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its suburbs, Geba with its suburbs, and Allemeth with its suburbs, and Anathoth with its suburbs. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.

61 Pjesës tjetër të bijve të Kehathit iu dhanë me short dhjetë qytete nga ana e familjes së fisit, që iu morën gjysmës së fisit, domethënë nga gjysma e fisit të Manasit.

To the rest of the descendants of Kohath were given by lot, out of the family of the tribe, out of the half-tribe, the half of Manasseh, ten cities.

62 Bijve të Ghershomit, sipas familjeve të tyre, iu dhanë trembëdhjetë qytete, që iu morën fisit të Isakar, nga fisi i Asherit, fisit të Neftalit dhe fisit të Manasët në Bashanit.

To the descendants of Gershom, according to their families, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

63 Bijve të Merarit, sipas familjeve të tyre, iu dhanë me short dymbëdhjetë qytete, që iu morën fisit të Rubenit, fisit të Gadit dhe fisit të Zabulonit.

To the descendants of Merari were given by lot, according to their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

64 Kështu bijtë e Izraelit u dhanë Levitëve këto qytete bashkë me toket e tyre për kullotë.

The children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities with their suburbs.

65 Ata ua dhanë me short këto qytete, që janë përmëndur me emrin dhe që u janë marrë fisit të bijve të Judës, fisit të bijve të Simeonit dhe fisit të bijve të Beniaminit.

They gave by lot out of the tribe of the descendants of Judah, and out of the tribe of the people of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the people of Benjamin, these cities which are mentioned by name.

66 Disa familje të bijve të Kehathit patën qytete në territorin që iu caktua atyre dhe që u morën nga fisi i Efraimit.

Some of the families of the descendants of Kohath, of the Levites, even the rest of the descendants of Kohath, had cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.

67 Ata u dhanë atyre edhe Sikemin, një ndër qytetet e strehimit, me tokat e tij për kullotë në krahinën malore të Efraimit, dhe Ghezerin me tokat e tij për kullotë,

They gave to them the cities of refuge, Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim with its suburbs; Gezer also with its suburbs,

68 Jokmeamin me tokat e tij për kullotë, Beth-Horonin me tokat e tij për kullotë,

and Jokmeam with its suburbs, and Beth Horon with its suburbs,

69 Ajalonin me tokat e tij për kullotë, Gath-Rimonin me tokat e tij për kullotë.

and Aijalon with its suburbs, and Gath Rimmon with its suburbs;

70 Dhe nga gjysma e fisit të Manasit, Anerin me tokat e tij për kullotë, Bileamin me tokat e tij për kullotë iu dha pjesës tjetër së familjes së bijve të Kehathit.

and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its suburbs, and Ibleam with its suburbs, for the rest of the family of the descendants of Kohath.

71 Bijve të Gershonit iu dhanë, duke i marrë nga familja e gjysmës së fisit të Manasit, Golanin në Bashan me tokat e tij për kullotë dhe Ashtarothin me tokat e tij për kullotë.

To the descendants of Gershom were given, out of the family of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with its suburbs, and Ashtaroth with its suburbs;

72 Nga fisi i Isakarit: Kedeshi me tokat e tij për kullotë, Daberathi me tokat e tij për kullotë,

and out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedesh with its suburbs, Daberath with its suburbs,

73 Ramothi me tokat e tij për kullotë dhe Anemi me tokat e tij për kullotë.

and Ramoth with its suburbs, and Anem with its suburbs;

74 Nga fisi i Asherit: Mashalin me tokat e tij për kullotë, Abdonin me tokat e tij për kullotë,

and out of the tribe of Asher, Mashal with its suburbs, and Abdon with its suburbs,

75 Hukokun me tokat e tij për kullotë dhe Rehobin me tokat e tij për kullotë.

and Hukok with its suburbs, and Rehob with its suburbs;

76 Nga fisi i Neftalit: Kedeshin në Galile me tokat e tij për kullotë, Hamonin me tokat e tij për kullotë dhe Kirjathaimin me tokat e tij për kullotë.

and out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its suburbs, and Hammon with its suburbs, and Kiriathaim with its suburbs.

77 Bijve të tjerë të Merarit iu dhanë, nga fisi i Zabulonit, Rimonin me tokat e tij për kullotë dhe Taborin me tokat e tij për kullotë.

To the rest of the Levites, the descendants of Merari, were given, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with its suburbs, Rimmon with its suburbs, and Tabor with its suburbs, and Nahalal with its suburbs.

78 Matanë Jordanit, pranë Jerikos, në lindje të Jordanit, nga fisi i Rubenit: Betserin në shkretëtirë me tokat e tij për kullotë dhe Jahatsahu me tokat e tij për kullotë,

And beyond the Jordan at Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, were given them, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with its suburbs, and Jahzah with its suburbs,

79 Kedemothi me tokat e tij për kullotë dhe Mefaathi me tokat e tij për kullotë.

and Kedemoth with its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs;

80 Nga fisi i Gadit: Ramothi në Galaad me tokat e tij për kullotë, Mahanbim me tokat e tij për kullotë,

and out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its suburbs, and Mahanaim with its suburbs,

81 Heshboni me tokat e tij për kullotë dhe Jazeri me tokat e tij për kullotë.

and Heshbon with its suburbs, and Jazer with its suburbs.
