1 Dhe tani ja, bijtë e Izraelit, sipas numrit të tyre, të parëve të shtëpive atërore, komandantëve të mijësheve dhe të qindësheve dhe të oficerëve të tyre në shërbim të mbretit për të gjitha ato që
The children of Israel also after their nomber, euen the chiefe fathers and captaines of thousandes and of hundreths, and their officers that serued the King by diuers courses, which came and in went out, moneth by moneth throughout al the moneths of the yeere: in euery course were foure and twentie thousand.
2 Në krye të divizionit të parë, gjatë muajit të parë, ishte Jashobeami, bir i Zabdielit, dhe divizioni i tij përbëhej nga njëzet e katër mijë burra.
Ouer the first course for the first moneth was Iashobeam the sonne of Zabdiel: and in his course were foure and twentie thousand.
3 Ai ishte nga bijtë e Peretsit dhe komandant i të gjithë oficerëve të ushtrisë gjatë muajit të parë.
Of the sonnes of Perez was the chiefe ouer all the princes of the armies for the first moneth.
4 Në krye të divizionit të muajit të dytë ishte Dodai, Ahohiti; në divizionin e tij oficeri më i rëndësishëm ishte Miklothi; divizioni i tij përbëhej nga njëzet e katër mijë burra.
And ouer the course of the second moneth was Dodai, an Ahohite, and this was his course, and Mikloth was a captaine, and in his course were foure and twentie thousand.
5 Komandanti i divizionit të tretë për muajin e tretë ishte Benajahu, bir i priftit Jehojada; ai ishte komandant dhe divizioni i tij përbëhej nga njëzet e katër mijë burra.
The captaine of the thirde hoste for the third moneth was Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada the chiefe Priest: and in his course were foure and twentie thousand.
6 Benajahu ishte një trim midis të tridhjetëve dhe ishte i pari i të tridhjetëve; në divizionin e tij ndodhej edhe i biri i tij Amizabadi.
This Benaiah was mightie among thirtie and aboue the thirtie, and in his course was Amizabad his sonne.
7 Komandanti i katërt për muajin e katërt ishte Asaheli, vëllai i Joabit; pas tij vinte i biri, Zebadiahu; divizioni i tij përbëhej nga njëzet e katër mijë burra.
The fourth for the fourth moneth was Asahel the brother of Ioab, and Zebadiah his sonne after him: and in his course were foure and twentie thousand.
8 Komandanti i pestë për muajin e pestë ishte komandanti Shamhuth, Izrahiti; divizioni i tij përbëhej nga njëzet e katër mijë burra.
The fift for ye fift moneth was prince Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.
9 Komandanti i gjashtë për muajin e gjashtë ishte Ira, bir i Ikeshit, Tekoitit; divizioni i tij përbëhej nga njëzet e katër mijë burra.
The sixt for the sixt moneth was Ira the sonne of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.
10 Komandanti i shtatë për muajin e shtatë ishte Heletsi, Peloniti, nga bijtë e Efraimit; divizioni i tij përbëhej nga njëzet e katër mijë burra.
The seuenth for the seuenth moneth was Helez the Pelonite, of the sonnes of Ephraim: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.
11 Komandanti i tetë për muajin e tetë ishte Sibekai, Hushathiti, nga Zarhitët; divizioni i tij përbëhej nga njëzet e katër mijë burra.
The eight for the eight moneth was Sibbecai the Hushathite of the Zarhites: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.
12 Komandanti i nëntë për muajin e nëntë ishte Abiezeri nga Anatothi, një Beniaminit; divizioni i tij përbëhej nga njëzet e katër mijë burra.
The ninth for the ninth moneth was Abiezer the Anethothite of the sonnes of Iemini: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.
13 Komandanti i dhjetë për muajin e dhjetë ishte Maharai nga Netofa, nga Zerahitët; divizioni i tij përbëhej nga njëzet e katër mijë burra.
The tenth for the tenth moneth was Maharai, the Netophathite of the Zarhites: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.
14 Komandanti i njëmbëdhjetë për muajin e njëmbëdhjetë ishte Banajahu nga Pirathoni, një nga bijtë e Efraimit; divizioni i tij përbëhej nga njëzet e katër mijë burra.
The eleueth for the eleuenth moneth was Benaiah the Pirathonite of the sonnes of Ephraim: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.
15 Komandanti i dymbëdhjetë për muajin e dymbëdhjetë ishte Heldai nga Netofa, prej familjes së Othnielit; divizioni i tij përbëhej nga njëzet e katër mijë burra.
The twelft for the twelft moneth was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course foure and twentie thousand.
16 Përveç këtyre, të parët e fiseve të Izraelit ishin këta që vijojnë: i pari i Rubenitëve ishte Eliezeri, bir i Zikrit; i pari i Simeonitëve, Shefatiahu, bir i Maakahut;
Moreouer the rulers ouer the tribes of Israel were these: ouer the Reubenites was ruler, Eliezer the sonne of Zichri: ouer the Shimeonites, Shephatiah the sonne of Maachah:
17 i pari i Levitëve, Hashabiahu, bir i Kemuelit; i pari i Aaronit, Tsadoku;
Ouer the Leuites, Hashabiah the sonne of Remuel: ouer them of Aharon, and Zadok:
18 i pari i Judës, Elihu, një ndër vëllezërit e Davidit, i pari i Isakarit, Omri, bir i Mikaelit;
Ouer Iudah, Elihu of the brethren of Dauid: ouer Issachar, Omri the sonne of Michael:
19 i pari i Zabulonit, Ismajahu, bir i Obadiahut, i pari i Neftalit, Jerimothi, bir i Azrielit;
Ouer Zebulun, Ishmaiah the sonne of Obadiah: ouer Naphtali, Ierimoth the sonne of Azriel:
20 i pari i bijve të Efraimit, Hoshea, bir i Azariahut, i pari i gjysmës së fisit të Manasit, Joeli, bir i Pedajahut;
Ouer the sonnes of Ephraim, Hoshea the sonne of Azazziah: ouer the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Ioel the sonne of Pedaiah:
21 i pari i gjysmës së fisit të Manasit në Galaad, Ido, bir i Zakarias; i pari i Beniaminit, Jaasieli, bir i Abnerit;
Ouer the other halfe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the sonne of Zechariah: ouer Beniamin, Iaasiel the sonne of Abner:
22 i pari i Danit, Azareeli, bir i Jerohamit. Këta ishin të parët e fiseve të Izraelit.
Ouer Dan, Azariel the sonne of Ieroham. these are the princes of the tribes of Israel.
23 Por Davidi nuk bëri regjistrimin e atyre që ishin më pak se njëzet vjeç, sepse Zoti i kishte thënë që do ta shumëzonte Izraelin si yjet e qiellit.
But Dauid tooke not the nober of them from twentie yeere olde and vnder, because the Lord had sayde that he would increase Israel like vnto the starres of the heauens.
24 Joabi, bir i Tserujahut, kishte filluar regjistrimin e popullsisë por nuk e kishte përfunduar; prandaj zëmërimi i Zotit goditi Izraelin dhe numri i të regjistruarve nuk u përfshi në Kronikat e mbretit David.
And Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah beganne to nomber: but hee finished it not, because there came wrath for it against Israel, neither was the nomber put into the Chronicles of King Dauid.
25 Azmavethi, bir i Adielit, ishte ngarkuar me thesaret e mbretit; Jonathani, bir i Uziahut, ishte ngarkuar me thesaret që ndodheshin në fshatrat, në qytetet dhe në kalatë;
And ouer the Kings treasures was Azmaueth the sonne of Adiel: and ouer the treasures in the fieldes, in the cities and in the villages and in the towers was Iehonathan the sonne of Vzziah:
26 Ezri, bir i Kelubit, ishte caktuar për punonjësit që punonin tokën;
And ouer the workemen in the fielde that tilled the ground, was Ezri the sonne of Chelub:
27 Shimei nga Ramahu ishte caktuar për vreshtat; Zabdihu i Sefamit ishte caktuar për prodhimin e vreshtave që depozitohej në kantina;
And ouer them that dressed the vines, was Shimei the Ramathite: and ouer that which apperteined to the vines, and ouer the store of the wine was Sabdi the Shiphmite:
28 Baal-Hanani nga Gederi ishte caktuar për ullishtet dhe për fiqtë e egjiptit që ndodheshin në fushë; Joashi ishte caktuar për depozitat e vajit;
And ouer the oliue trees and mulberie trees that were in the valleys, was Baal Hanan the Gederite: and ouer the store of the oyle was Ioash:
29 Shitrai nga Sharoni ishte caktuar për kopetë që kullotnin në Sharon; Shafati, bir i Adlait, ishte caktuar për kopetë që ndodheshin në luginat;
And ouer the oxen that fed in Sharon, was Shetrai the Sharonite: and ouer the oxen in the valleyes was Shaphat the sonne of Adlai:
30 Obili, Ismaeliti, ishte caktuar për devetë; Jehdejahu nga Merenothi merrej me gomarët;
And ouer the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite: and ouer the asses was Iehdeiah the Meronothite:
31 Jazizi, Hagariti, ishte caktuar me kopetë e bagëtive të imta. Tërë këta ishin administratorë të pasurive të mbretit David.
And ouer the sheepe was Iaziz the Hagerite: all these were the rulers of the substance that was King Dauids.
32 Jonathani, ungji i Davidit, ishte këshilltar, njeri i zgjuar dhe shkrues; Jehieli, bir i Hakmonit, rrinte me bijtë e mbretit;
And Iehonathan Dauids vncle a man of counsell and vnderstanding (for he was a scribe) and Iehiel the sonne of Hachmoni were with the Kings sonnes.
33 Ahitofeli ishte këshilltar i mbretit; Hushai, Arkiti, ishte mik i mbretit.
And Ahitophel was the Kings counseller, and Hushai the Archite the Kings friend.
34 Ahithofelit i zunë vendin Jehojada, bir i Benajahut, dhe Abiathari; komandant i ushtrisë së mbretit ishte Joabi.
And after Ahitophel was Iehoiada the sonne of Benaiah and Abiathar: and captaine of the Kings armie was Ioab.
