Acts 23
1 Paul, looking steadfastly at the council, said, “Brothers, I have lived before God in all good conscience until today.”
Павел с-а уйтат цинтэ ла собор ши а зис: „Фрацилор, еу ам вецуит ку тоатэ курэция куӂетулуй меу ынаинтя луй Думнезеу пынэ ын зиуа ачаста…”
2 The high priest, Ananias, commanded those who stood by him to strike him on the mouth.
Мареле преот Анания а порунчит челор че стэтяу лынгэ ел сэ-л ловяскэ песте гурэ.
3 Then Paul said to him, “God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! Do you sit to judge me according to the law, and command me to be struck contrary to the law?”
Атунч, Павел й-а зис: „Те ва бате Думнезеу, перете вэруит! Ту шезь сэ мэ жудечь дупэ Леӂе ши порунчешть сэ мэ ловяскэ, ымпотрива Леӂий!”
4 Those who stood by said, “Do you malign God’s high priest?”
Чей че стэтяу лынгэ ел й-ау зис: „Ыць баць жок де мареле преот ал луй Думнезеу?”
5 Paul said, “I didn’t know, brothers, that he was high priest. For it is written, ‘You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your people.’”
Ши Павел а зис: „Н-ам штиут, фрацилор, кэ есте мареле преот, кэч есте скрис: ‘Пе май-мареле нородулуй тэу сэ ну-л грэешть де рэу.’”
6 But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, “Men and brothers, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees. Concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead I am being judged!”
Павел, ка унул каре штия кэ о парте дин адунаре ерау садукей, яр алта фарисей, а стригат ын плин собор: „Фрацилор, еу сунт фарисеу, фиу де фарисеу; дин причина нэдеждий ын ынвиеря морцилор сунт дат ын жудекатэ.”
7 When he had said this, an argument arose between the Pharisees and Sadducees, and the crowd was divided.
Кынд а зис ворбеле ачестя, с-а стырнит о неынцелеӂере ынтре фарисей ши садукей, ши адунаря с-а дезбинат.
8 For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, nor angel, nor spirit; but the Pharisees confess all of these.
Кэч садукеий зик кэ ну есте ынвиере, нич ынӂер, нич дух, пе кынд фарисеий ле мэртурисеск пе амындоуэ.
9 A great clamor arose, and some of the scribes of the Pharisees’ part stood up, and contended, saying, “We find no evil in this man. But if a spirit or angel has spoken to him, let’s not fight against God!”
С-а фэкут о маре зарвэ, ши кыцьва кэртурарь дин партида фарисеилор с-ау скулат ын пичоаре, ау ынчепут о чартэ апринсэ ши ау зис: „Ной ну гэсим ничо винэ ын омул ачеста; дар дакэ й-а ворбит ун дух сау ун ынӂер?”…
10 When a great argument arose, the commanding officer, fearing that Paul would be torn in pieces by them, commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from among them and bring him into the barracks.
Фииндкэ гылчава крештя, кэпитанул се темя ка Павел сэ ну фие рупт ын букэць де ей. Де ачея а порунчит осташилор сэ се кобоаре, сэ-л смулгэ дин мижлокул лор ши сэ-л дукэ ын четэцуе.
11 The following night, the Lord stood by him and said, “Cheer up, Paul, for as you have testified about me at Jerusalem, so you must testify also at Rome.”
Ын ноаптя урмэтоаре, Домнул С-а арэтат луй Павел ши й-а зис: „Ындрэзнеште, Павеле, кэч, дупэ кум ай мэртурисит деспре Мине ын Иерусалим, тот аша требуе сэ мэртурисешть ши ын Рома.”
12 When it was day, some of the Jews banded together and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink until they had killed Paul.
Ла зиуэ, иудеий ау унелтит ши с-ау легат ку блестем кэ ну вор мынка, нич ну вор бя пынэ ну вор оморы пе Павел.
13 There were more than forty people who had made this conspiracy.
Чей че фэкусерэ легэмынтул ачеста ерау май мулць де патрузечь.
14 They came to the chief priests and the elders, and said, “We have bound ourselves under a great curse to taste nothing until we have killed Paul.
Ей с-ау дус ла преоций чей май де сямэ ши ла бэтрынь ши ле-ау зис: „Ной не-ам легат ку маре блестем сэ ну густэм нимик пынэ ну вом оморы пе Павел.
15 Now therefore, you with the council inform the commanding officer that he should bring him down to you tomorrow, as though you were going to judge his case more exactly. We are ready to kill him before he comes near.”
Акум дар, вой, ымпреунэ ку соборул, даць де штире кэпитанулуй ши ругаци-л сэ-л адукэ мыне жос, ынаинтя воастрэ, ка ши кум аць вря сэ-й черчетаць причина май ку де-амэнунтул, ши пынэ сэ ажунгэ ел, ной сунтем гата сэ-л оморым.”
16 But Paul’s sister’s son heard they were lying in wait, and he came and entered into the barracks and told Paul.
Фиул сурорий луй Павел а аузит де ачастэ курсэ, с-а дус ын четэцуе ши а спус луй Павел.
17 Paul summoned one of the centurions and said, “Bring this young man to the commanding officer, for he has something to tell him.”
Павел а кемат пе унул дин суташь ши а зис: „Ду пе тинерелул ачеста ла кэпитан, кэч аре сэ-й спунэ чева.”
18 So he took him and brought him to the commanding officer and said, “Paul, the prisoner, summoned me and asked me to bring this young man to you. He has something to tell you.”
Суташул а луат пе тынэр ку ел, л-а дус ла кэпитан ши а зис: „Павел чел ынтемницат м-а кемат ши м-а ругат сэ адук ла тине пе ачест тинерел, каре аре сэ-ць спунэ чева.”
19 The commanding officer took him by the hand, and going aside, asked him privately, “What is it that you have to tell me?”
Кэпитанул л-а апукат де мынэ, л-а луат деопарте ши л-а ынтребат: „Че ай сэ-мь спуй?”
20 He said, “The Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul down to the council tomorrow, as though intending to inquire somewhat more accurately concerning him.
Ел а рэспунс: „Иудеий с-ау сфэтуит сэ те роаӂе сэ адучь мыне пе Павел ынаинтя соборулуй, ка ши кум ай авя сэ-л черчетезь май ку де-амэнунтул.
21 Therefore don’t yield to them, for more than forty men lie in wait for him, who have bound themselves under a curse to neither eat nor drink until they have killed him. Now they are ready, looking for the promise from you.”
Ту сэ ну-й аскулць, пентру кэ май мулць де патрузечь динтре ей ыл пындеск ши с-ау легат ку блестем сэ ну мэнынче ши сэ ну бя нимик пынэ ну-л вор оморы; акум стау гата ши н-аштяптэ декыт фэгэдуяла та.”
22 So the commanding officer let the young man go, charging him, “Tell no one that you have revealed these things to me.”
Кэпитанул а лэсат пе тинерел сэ плече ши й-а порунчит сэ ну спунэ нимэнуй кэ й-а дескоперит ачесте лукрурь.
23 He called to himself two of the centurions, and said, “Prepare two hundred soldiers to go as far as Caesarea, with seventy horsemen and two hundred men armed with spears, at the third hour of the night.”
Ын урмэ, а кемат пе дой суташь ши ле-а зис: „Ла часул ал трейля дин ноапте, сэ авець гата доуэ суте де осташь, шаптезечь де кэлэрець ши доуэ суте де сулицарь, ка сэ мяргэ пынэ ла Чезарея.”
24 He asked them to provide mounts, that they might set Paul on one, and bring him safely to Felix the governor.
Ле-а порунчит сэ адукэ ши добитоаче пентру Павел, ка сэ-л пунэ кэларе ши сэ-л дукэ сэнэтос ши тяфэр ла дрегэторул Феликс.
25 He wrote a letter like this:
Луй Феликс, й-а скрис о скрисоаре ку урмэторул купринс:
26 “Claudius Lysias to the most excellent governor Felix: Greetings.
„Клаудиус Лисиас кэтре пряалесул дрегэтор Феликс: плекэчуне!
27 “This man was seized by the Jews, and was about to be killed by them when I came with the soldiers and rescued him, having learned that he was a Roman.
Ачест ом, пе каре л-ау принс иудеий, ера сэ фие оморыт де ей, ши еу м-ам дус репеде ку осташь ши л-ам скос дин мына лор, кэч ам афлат кэ есте роман.
28 Desiring to know the cause why they accused him, I brought him down to their council.
Ам врут сэ афлу причина пентру каре-л пырау ши л-ам адус ынаинтя соборулуй лор.
29 I found him to be accused about questions of their law, but not to be charged with anything worthy of death or of imprisonment.
Ам гэсит кэ ера пырыт пентру лукрурь привитоаре ла Леӂя лор, дар кэ ну сэвыршисе ничо нелеӂюире каре сэ фие вредникэ де моарте сау де ланцурь.
30 When I was told that the Jews lay in wait for the man, I sent him to you immediately, charging his accusers also to bring their accusations against him before you. Farewell.”
Ми с-а дат ынсэ де штире кэ иудеий ыл пындеск ка сэ-л омоаре; л-ам тримис ындатэ ла тине ши ам фэкут куноскут ши челор че-л ынвинуеск сэ-ць спунэ цие че ау ымпотрива луй. Фий сэнэтос.”
31 So the soldiers, carrying out their orders, took Paul and brought him by night to Antipatris.
Осташий, дупэ порунка пе каре о примисерэ, ау луат пе Павел ши л-ау дус ноаптя пынэ ла Антипатрида.
32 But on the next day they left the horsemen to go with him, and returned to the barracks.
А доуа зи, ау лэсат пе кэлэрець сэ-шь урмезе друмул ынаинте ку ел, яр ей с-ау ынторс ын четэцуе.
33 When they came to Caesarea and delivered the letter to the governor, they also presented Paul to him.
Ажуншь ын Чезарея, кэлэреций ау дат скрисоаря ын мына дрегэторулуй ши ау адус пе Павел ынаинтя луй.
34 When the governor had read it, he asked what province he was from. When he understood that he was from Cilicia, he said,
Дрегэторул, дупэ че а читит скрисоаря, а ынтребат дин че цинут есте Павел. Кынд а афлат кэ есте дин Чиличия,
35 “I will hear you fully when your accusers also arrive.” He commanded that he be kept in Herod’s palace.
„те вой аскулта”, а зис ел, „кынд вор вени пырыший тэй”. Ши а порунчит сэ фие пэзит ын палатул луй Ирод.
